Our heroes are on the road back to Petalburg City. Today their travels bring them to a mysterious Valley.

“Where are we?” Aqua asked.

“Not sure, the pokenav is not showing anything about this area,” Turquoise said before she remembered something nurse Joy said. “Unless this valley is what i think it is. Before they could talk more a bunch of Magnemite were flying above before unleashing swift on the girls which caused them to run and take cover.

“I think this is the Valley Of Steel,” Fluttershy said.

“And why are we here? “Aqua asked.

“It’s the fastest way to Mauville City, “Turquoise said.

“I thought we were going to Petalburg City?” Aqua said.

“We have to backtrack to get there, “Turquoise said.

“Wherever we are going we must get through those Magnemite first,” Fluttershy said before calling out Cinderace. She had Cinderace use pyroball to try to knock them out but despite the heavy amount of damage they took they were still able to fight. Aqua and Turquoise called out their Vulpix to finish them.

“Are we really going to continue through this place?” Aqua asked.

“We have to, we came this far so no going back now,” Fluttershy said.

“Fine, “Aqua said as they kept walking.

Meanwhile on the other side of the valley was a bunch of poachers who wrangled a bunch of Aron and Beldum.

“Good thing we took down that Steelix otherwise we would be screwed, “one of them said.

“I still can’t believe the boss was able to capture it,” Another one said.

“Do you think that one Beldum will be an issue, Johnny?” The first one asked.

“Beldum are only capable of using a simple Take Down attack and that hurts them just as much as it would the opponent, so no Yusaku, it won’t be an issue,” Johnny said. Suddenly a muscular man wearing a hunter’s outfit came up to them hauling a net full of Bronzor.

“Open another cage boys because I got another haul,” The man said.

“Yes mr. Trapper,” they said in unison before locking the Bronzor up.

“These pokemon are going to make us rich, and now that the leader of this valley is mine to command, nothing will stop me from snagging all of these steel-types and selling them for a major profit,” trapper said before laughing triumphantly.

Back with the girls they were walking through the valley expecting another attack but were surprised to see no other pokemon coming at them.

“Where are the other pokemon in this area?” Aqua asked.

“I know, aside from those Magnemite, nothing else came at us,” Turquoise said.

“Nurse Joy even mentioned a big Steelix that acted as the leader of this place,” Fluttershy said. Suddenly a Beldum came flying at them fast while looking like it was in a panic.

“Another attack?” Aqua said before pulling out Vulpix’s pokeball only for Turquoise to stop her.

“Hold on, it looks more like a retreat than an attack, Look,” Turquoise said.

“You're right, it looks scared, not angry,” Fluttershy said. Suddenly the Beldum rammed Turquoise.

“I must say that’s the first time a pokemon has ever rammed me,” Turquoise said before getting up. The Beldum was about to run away until Turquoise placed her hand on it. “Easy there, we’re not going to hurt you. The Beldum did not believe her and looked ready to attack. Turquoise could tell mere words were not compelling enough to convince this Beldum she meant what she said. This led to Beldum launching take down after Take down with Turquoise just dodging and Beldum crashing into rocks which really had Fluttershy concerned.

“Turquoise, you need to end this before Beldum really hurts itself,” Fluttershy shouted.

“She is right, crashing into rocks is a really reckless exercise,” Aqua said.

“Not to mention the recoil damage Beldum is taking, “Fluttershy said.

“Got it,” Turquoise said. Beldum was getting ready to attack again while Turquoise dropped her bag after pulling out a gray pokeball with blue bumps on it. Beldum began charging at turquoise and after dodging again Beldum was now wedged into the sand which was Turquosie’s chance to act. “Go heavy ball. Turquoise threw the ball and despite not moving as fast managed to make contact with Beldum and contain it. After a few shakes the capture was successful. Turquoise picked up the heavy ball.

“Looks like you got yourself a Beldum,” Aqua said.

“I know but is it really ok to catch it like this?” Turquoise asked.

“If you didn’t catch it, who knows what would have happened, it could have really hurt itself,” Fluttershy said.

“What has me more concerned is why it was freaking out like that,” Turquoise said.

“Why don’t we ask why it was afraid? “Aqua suggested.

“Good idea,” Turquoise said before calling Beldum out. This time Beldum looked more calm which was a good sign since Turquoise could now talk to it. “Now that you're calm, can you show us what made you so afraid? Beldum motioned for them to follow it which they did. After several minutes of following it they arrived at where the poachers set their campsite. Suddenly the girls saw why Beldum looked scared.

“I see now, your friends got captured by those poachers and you got away,” Fluttershy said with Beldum nodding in agreement.

“Don’t you worry, we will beat those poachers and save everyone of the pokemon they trapped,” Turquoise said with determination.

“Slow down miss superhero, We don’t know what we are up against,” Aqua said.

“I’m with Aqua, We can’t rush in there recklessly, We need a plan,” Fluttershy said. Just as she said that the poachers began banging the cages as the pokemon were trying to break out.

“Settle down, you pieces of scrap metal,” Johnny said. Suddenly Fluttershy went from calm to super angry after seeing that.

“THAT’S IT TIME TO BEAT THESE MEANIES TO A PULP,” Fluttershy shouted as she called out both Cinderace and Ursaring who were picking up on her anger as well.

“I never thought Fluttershy could get this mad,” Aqua said.

“Abusing pokemon really grinds her gears,” Turquoise said while she and aqua followed behind them. The poachers were a bit surprised but were ready.

“Go Duraludon,” Johnny said as he called out a dragon-like creature made of steel.

“Go Kingambit,” Yusaku said as he called out a red,yellow, and black creature that looked like a shogun with a big blade on it’s head. Both turquoise and aqua pulled out their Pokedexes for them.

“Kingambit, the big blade Pokemon and the evolved form of Bisharp, Though it commands a massive army in battle, it's not skilled at devising complex strategies. It just uses brute strength to keep pushing,” Turquoise’s pokedex said.

“Duraludon, The alloy Pokemon, Its metal body is durable but prone to retaining heat. It vents this heat from the slits in its tail,” Aqua’s pokedex said.

“Leave these two to me, you girls, focus on freeing the pokemon, “Fluttershy said with the girl in agreement.

“We won’t let you, Duraludon use Rock Smash. Duralodon charged at the girls ready to hit them until Fluttershy had Cinderace use Double kick to push it away.

“Leave my friends alone, your battle is with us,” Fluttershy said, full of confidence since her rage is giving her strength.

“You want a fight, then bring it, Kingambit use Kowtow Cleave on Ursaring. Kingambit charged at ursaring with its blade covered in a dark aura. Before it could make contact, ursaring caught it and stopped it.

“No, it's impossible, no one has ever stopped that move,” Yusaku said in shock.

“Well we just did, now cinderace use pyroball. Cinderace dribbled his rock which formed a ball of fire which had more power to it upon hitting Kingambit which sent it flying into Duraludon after being released from ursaring’s paws. “Ok girls i beat them, how are the pokemon? Unfortunately Trapper had them tied by the hands.

“You thieves are not stealing my quarry, “Trapper said.

“You think you scare me, I beat your two subordinates, and your next,” Fluttershy said.

“Oh really, “Trapper said before sending Turquoise and Aqua back to Fluttershy. Suddenly Trapper pulled out an odd-looking pokeball the girls had not seen before.

“What the heck is that thing?” Turquoise asked.

“What you see here is called a dark ball, and what is contained inside is a pokemon you three combined can never hope to beat, “Trapper said.

“We won’t back down that easily,” Turquoise said. With those words, Trapper pulled his arm back ready to unleash the pokemon inside the dark ball.

“Steelix, do my bidding,” Trapper said as the dark ball pops open and unleashes a blast of black energy which unleashed A really angry Steelix with piercing red eyes as if Trapper did something to it.

“That is not normal, what did you do to that Steelix? “Fluttershy demanded.

“Simple, The dark ball turns any pokemon it captures evil and amps up their power, not that Steelix needs it since it was plenty powerful when it challenged me,” Trapper said. The girls called out all of their pokemon since they needed all the help they could get in this fight. They unleashed a barrage of attacks all of which were not doing much damage to Steelix.

“Weak, Steelix wipe them all out with Hyper Beam. Steelix unleashed a powerful hyper Beam which instantly knocked out all of their pokemon. The girls recalled all of their pokemon.

“Sweet arceus, just how crazy strong is this Steelix? “Turquoise asked.

“Give it up ladies, you can’t win against my might, “Trapper said while laughing evilly. Suddenly an arrow managed to pierce the dark Ball and not only skewer it but caused it to explode which released Steelix from its influence.

“Let’s see how tough you are without your little toy,” A woman in a hooded cloak said before landing on the sand.

“And you are?” Trapper asked.

“I’m a pokemon guardian, it is my job to stop poachers like you from harming pokemon,” she said before a Flygon unleashed a sand tomb on them thus trapping them in the sand for the authorities to apprehend. Fluttershy swiped their keys before helping the guardian release all the caged pokemon. “Are you girls, ok?

“We are but our Pokemon are not,” Turquoise said.

“There is a pokemon center on the other side of the valley, you girls go on ahead, Flygon and I will make sure these three don’t go anywhere,” The Guardian said.

“Thank you,” Aqua said.

“Before we go, may we know your name?” Turquoise asked.

“Just call me Guardian K,” K said.

“Got it,” Turquoise said before she and her friends continued onward. The steel-types did not bother them since they tried to rescue them which showed them the girls were good people.

“Do you think we will run into Guardian K again?” Aqua asked.

“Maybe we will, maybe we won’t, but one thing is certain, I'm glad she saved us when she did,” Turquoise said.

“You said it, if she did not come when she did, that Steelix would have killed us,” Fluttershy said.

“I thought pokemon who were caught are incapable of hurting people?” Aqua said.

“Normally that is the case, but that dark ball has the capability to turn even the purest of pokemon evil and with that into a weapon that can even harm other people if the one controlling it commands it to,” Turquoise said. Soon the girls arrived on the other side of the valley and found the pokemon center.

Meanwhile back where the poachers were Guardian K and Flygon were keeping a close eye on them along with the steel-types who all bore a grudge against them including the Steelix who was freed from Trapper’s control.

“You can’t keep us here like this you witch, “Johnny shouted.

“Oh shut it you punk, the police should be here any second now to apprehend you,” Guardian K said as the sound of sirens was approaching. “And that is our cue to get out of here. Guardian K hopped on flygon’s back before they flew off leaving Trapper and his two lackeys to Officer Jenny and her boys. They tried to escape but their feet were bogged down so deep they could not run. The police arrived and arrested them with little difficulty.

“Whoever did this, you have my gratitude,” Officer Jenny said before getting back in the car to return to the station.

Back at the pokemon center Turquoise was in deep thought about today’s events.

“What’s wrong, Turquoise? “Aqua asked.

“Does this have to do with everything that has happened today?” Fluttershy guessed.

“It does, that Trapper guy was by far the most dangerous foe we faced, and we lost so easily,” Turquoise said.

“Not to mention that dark ball thing he used to command his Steelix, “Aqua said.

“Well let’s leave all that to the authorities and just focus on our journey,” Fluttershy said.

“Your, right, and in regard to that, no more fooling around, it’s time my pokemon and I got serious,” Turquoise said. Just as she said that Nurse joy came back with all their pokemon.

“All your pokemon are all healed, “Nurse Joy said as they all came running to them. Turquoise took her pokemon and lined them up to address them.

“All right everyone, i hope you all are ready for some serious training because we got some rough competition ahead,” Turquoise said with all of her pokemon in agreement since like Turquoise they are also determined to get stronger, so they don’t fall so easily again like today. What crazy adventures await our heroes next? Stay tuned. As the journey continues.

For those of you that don't know, the dark ball was from the movie Pokémon 4ever and was used by the villain of that movie. as for how Trapper got a hold of one, I will leave that up to your imagination. anyway i hope you all enjoyed this chapter.
