Last time our heroes arrived in Cedarville Town and what was meant to be another contest for Turquoise became a fight to save the struggling town. Fortunately Turquoise had a brilliant idea and to make it a reality she called in some old friends. Will Turquoise’s plan to save Cedarville work or will Louise Milligan win this time?

Turquoise was now backstage with her friends getting ready. Soon it was showtime and despite the equipment not being up to date Vivian was going to make this work somehow.

“Welcome everyone to the Cedarville Town contest, originally this was going to be a normal contest but today it’s now a spectacular featuring eight of the best coordinators in the world,” Vivian said as their profiles appeared on the jumbotron which despite being a bit staticy were still visible which got the crowd excited. Vivian introduced the usual panel of judges which included Contesta, Sukizu, and Cedarville Town’s Nurse Joy. “And now let’s begin this contest with our first contest, Turquoise. Turquoise walked onto the stage ready to go and pulled out her pokeball.

“Espeon let’s dazzle them, “Turquoise said as she elegantly threw her pokeball which popped open and unleashed a bunch of multicolored stars with Espeon in the middle of them as she landed gracefully. “Let’s start things off with swift. Espeon unleashed swift in an upward spiral which piqued the crowd’s interest. “Now jump while using Morning sun. Espeon leaped through the spiral while glowing as she ascended before getting above the tower. “Now finish with Psybeam. Espeon fired her Psybeam straight through the center which caused the stars to explode and for Espeon to land in front of the explosion gracefully.

“Looks like Turquoise’s skills are still on point,” Selena said before taking her turn. Each of them went on one by one and as expected their performances were top notch. Normally their would be an intermission while they tallied the scores to decide who makes the cut but in this case everyone made it and all that was left to do was shuffling the pics and determining the pairings. After a few seconds the pairings were set and Turquoise’s first opponent was Rarity in the third match. The first two matches were Selena vs Zoey and Emma vs. Dawn. The first two rounds were very exciting and both sides gave it their all but in the end both Zoey and Dawn won. Now it was Turquoise and Rarity’s turn.

“And now it’s time for our third match, on my left is Turquoise and on my right is Rarity, five minutes on the clock, go,” Vivian said.

“Espeon, let’s dazzle them,” Turquoise said before calling out Espeon.

“Delcatty center stage,” Rarity said as she threw her pokeball which popped open and unleashed a bunch of pink diamonds that collided with each other to form a single big diamond before shattering with Delcatty in the center of the sparkling dust as she landed gracefully on stage.

“Espeon use Swift. Espeon opened the battle with a Swift attack.

“Delcatty use Shockwave. Delcatty countered with a blue shockwave which caused the stars to exploded and cost turquoise some points.

Turquoise: 85%

“You need to do better than that darling, Now delcatty use Assist. Delcatty used assist which turned into Sylveon’s Hyper Voice turquoise and Espeon did their best to withstand the loud noise and while they tried to hang on their points went down more.

Turquoise: 70%

“Espeon can you still keep going? “Turquoise asked as Espeon got back up ready to keep going. “Then let’s use Morning sun. Espeon bathed herself in sunlight which was healing her.

“Like we are going to let that happen, Delcatty use Blizzard before they can recover. Delcatty unleashed a blizzard that filled the entire stadium. Espeon soon finished recovering health which meant it was time to counter attack.

“Now use psychic on that blizzard. Espeon managed to use psychic to gain control of the blizzard before using it to form a tower of snow to entrap Delcatty.

“And Espeon’s expert mastery of psychic just cost Rarity a mountain of points, “Vivian said as Rarity’s points went down near the four minute mark.

Rarity 65%

At this point rarity was stumped because she knew if Delcatty tried to climb out the snow would collapse and she would lose more points.

“Now Espeon jump and use Psybeam. Espeon leaped high over the tower and fired a psybeam right into the opening on top.

“In that case I will need shadow ball to end this, “Rarity said in her mind before speaking. “Delcatty use assist. Rarity hoped that Assist would give her what she needed. As soon as delcatty used assist she ended up with froslass’s frost breath which caused the snow to collapse and fall on top of Delcatty as psybeam landed a powerful blow. Once the dust settled it was revealed that Delcatty fainted while buried in the snow which caused the judges to hit their buzzers.

“And with that Turquoise moves on to the next round,” Vivian said as Rarity recalled Delcatty.

“You were impressive as always,” Rarity said.

“Le’s hope it’s enough,” Turquoise said. Once all the snow was cleared away the fourth battle began and this one was a close one but in the end Kyle won.

“And that makes us even for last time,” Kyle said.

“I admit I was not expecting you to teach ice punch to your Dusknoir,” Esmeralda said.

“Well I was not expecting to run into you again but I prepared just in case, “Kyle said. With the first round of battles over it was time for an intermission. Turquoise decided to check in with the mayor.

“Your idea is working. We managed to earn enough in cossions to pay off the town's debts,"Sophia said.

“That’s great news,” Turquoise said.

“Yeah well that changes nothing,” Louise said.

“And how is that?” Turquoise asked.

“You may have saved yourself from the debt collectors but the deed is still mine,” Louise said.

“For now it is,” Turquoise said. Once the intermission was over it was time for the second round of battles which were Dawn vs Zoey and Turquoise vs Kyle. The first match was an intense one between Dawn's Piplup and Zoey’s Glameow. The two put on quite a spectacular show but when time ran out Zoey was ahead by a small margin which won her the battle. Next up was Turquoise and Kyle who were both ready. Once the timer started, so did the battle.

“Dusknoir let’s astonish her,” Kyle said as he threw his pokeball which unleashed a bunch of blue flames that converged into a bigger flame which Dusknoir broke free of.

“Espeon, let’s dazzle them,” Turquoise said as she called out Espeon.

“Dusknoir use shadow ball. Dusknoir fired a shadow ball from the mouth on its stomach.

“Dodge and use psybeam. Espeon skillfully dodged and unleashed Psybeam which did not faze kyle.

“Dusknoir use Ice punch on the stage. Dusknoir punched the stage with a fist covered in ice blue energy which resulted in a chunk of ice forming and refracting the ice beam right back at Turquoise which scored a hit on Espeon which resulted in both sides losing points.

Turquoise:75%

Kyle:85%

“Not bad but we are not out yet, Espeon use Swift. Espeon unleashed her swift which really took Kyle by surprise.

“But normal-type moves won’t work on my Dusknoir, “Kyle pointed out.

“I know but whoever said this was a normal Swift attack,” Turquoise pointed out before enacting the second part of her move. “Now Espeon use psybeam on the stars. Espeon fired psybeam at the stars which caused them to spin faster and absorb some of the energy which caused them to glow purple and form a pink bladed edge which allowed them to deal great damage to Dusknoir and cost kyle a lot more points.

Kyle: 55%

“Now bad but Dusknoir is not out yet, “Kyle said as Dusknoir got back up. “Now Dusknoir use shadow Punch. Dusknoir fired a shadowy fist at Espeon.

“Dodge that. Espeon attempted to dodge the shadow punch and while it may have looked like it worked the fist made a u-turn which caused Espeon to run towards the ice chunk. Espeon hid behind it and managed to use the ice as a shield to block Shadow Punch. Suddenly turquoise had an idea. “Now use Psybeam on the ice. Espeon fired her Psybeam through the Ice chunk and like she hoped for the ice focused it and nailed Dusknoir for major damage which was enough to beat it and for the judges to hit their buzzers.

“And with that, Turquoise will be joining Zoey in the final match,” Vivian said. Kyle recalled Dusknoir before approaching Turquoise.

“You always know how to surprise people, I would have never guessed you would combine swift and psybeam to form a powerful move like that, “Kyle said.

“Well you know as well as I do that normal-type moves don’t work on ghost-types so I had to get creative,” Turquoise said. Another intermission was scheduled and during it Zoey decided to chat with Turquoise.

“I must say, you're doing a lot better than when we met back in Johto,” Zoey said.

“Well I learned a lot from traveling,” Turquoise said. Soon it was time for the final battle which meant it was time for both of them to report to the battlefield.

“And now we finally reached the final match, on my left is Zoey and on my right is Turquoise, five minutes on the clock, go,” Vivian said.

“Espeon, let's dazzle them,” Turquoise said as she called out Espeon.

“Glameow curtain, “Zoey said as she threw her pokeball which popped open and unleashed red confetti with Glameow spinning before gracefully landing.

“Espeon use psybeam. Espeon fired her psybeam which was heading straight for Glameow.

“Dodge then leap at Espeon. Glameow dodged the Psybeam before using her tail as a spring to bounce towards espeon and getting in her face which cost Turquoise some points.

Turquoise: 85%

“Espeon use swift. Espeon tried to get back but Glameow was not giving her an inch.

“Glameow use Iron Tail. Glameow straightened her tail before it turned to iron and slammed Espeon hard before wrapping her tail around Espeon’s midsection.

Turquoise: 55%

“You may have improved but you still got a ways to go, Your Espeon is a long range special attack fighter so if I keep her close to Glameow, you can't do anything,” Zoey said which made Turquoise upset.

“You're right, Espeon is a special attacker but you're wrong about us being out of this match,” Turquoise said.

“Meaning? “Zoey asked.

“We still have an ace or two up our sleeve, Espeon use Psychic on both yourself and Glameow. Espeon’s eyes turned blue as she used Psychic to lift both herself and Glameow off the ground which had made Glameow disoriented.

“What are you up to?” Zoey asked.

“You're about to see,” Turquoise said as Glameow released her tail’s grip on Espeon which caused the two to be separated with Espeon above and Glameow beneath her. “Now Espeon use psybeam while spinning. Espeon spun while creating a spiral tower around herself and glameow and when Glameow tried to escape she took damage which caused Zoew some points.

Zoey: 65%

“I see now, your using psybeam to keep Glameow from moving but you also put yourself in that position, “Zoey said as Glameow landed by using her spring-like tail.

“And what could you do in this situation that Rarity could not?” Turquoise asked before she realized what Zoey was planning.

“That’s right you can’t run either, Glameow use Shadow Claw. Glameow sprung at Espeon who was still airborne and had nowhere to go but that did not mean it was over.

“Espeon use another psybeam. Espeon fired another psybeam and both moves collided which caused a huge explosion. The judges and the audience were waiting in anticipation to see the outcome. Once the smoke cleared up it was revealed that both Glameow and Espeon had fainted which resulted in a double knockout and for the judges to hit their buzzers.

“And it looks like we have a double knockout which means we will need a moment to discuss how to handle this. The officials took some time to deliberate and after a while Vivian came back on stage to make the announcement.

“The officials and I have come to a decision, after carefully tallying up the points it would appear that we have ourselves a draw so both Turquoise and Zoey win the contest,” Vivian said as the crowd went wild with applause. Sometime later after everyone’s pokemon were healed everyone left except for Turquoise’ Aqua’ and Fluttershy who still had unfinished business with Louise.

“You may have gotten the town out of debt, but you still failed to save the town itself,” Louise pointed out while laughing evilly.

“We won’t let you do this, we will stop you,” Fluttershy said.

“And just who is going to save this dust bowl from being demolished?” Louise pointed out before the sound of a western horn played and a limo pulled up to the town. Out of the limo came a man in a white suit with black hair and a black mustache wearing a matching ten gallon hat.

“Why me of course, little lady,” The man said in a Texan accent.

“And just who are you?” Louise asked.

“Why I’m Ray Realgam, owner of the Realgam Tower,” Ray said

“Ray Realgam? Owner of the Realgam Tower?” Aqua asked.

“That’s right, Ray Realgam, owner of the Realgam Tower, “Ray said.

“Well you can’t stop me because this town now belongs to Double R,” Louise said before laughing evilly some more only for Ray to burst her bubble.

“That’s me, I'm Double R,” Ray said which caused Louise to look dumbstruck as he took the deed. “Now I believe our business is concluded here now move along little lady. Louise left angrily.

“I know I can’t stop you sir, but please don’t destroy Cedarville Town,” Sophia pleaded with Ray.

“Oh I'm not demolishing this town, I'm revitalizing it. This place reminds me of home and yall have quite the community. Why, my heart would have to be blacker than the coal from Pyrite Town to destroy such a place, “Ray said.

“So what does that mean for my position as mayor?” Sophia asked.

“Don’t you worry you're still in charge, all I wanted was the town so I can see it flourish, “Ray said.

Louise was on her way back to her luxury home when she noticed a whole group of protesters on her property and trashing the place.

“What is going on here?” Louise asked.

“We are taking back the land you stole and all the trees you murdered,” one of them said.

“I obtained this land legally and you eco nuts can’t do anything about it, “Louise said as she was about to call the cops only for Officer Jenny to arrive already. “Perfect timing, I want these vandals off my property.

“I’m afraid you got the wrong idea, Louise Milligan, you are under arrest, “Officer Jenny said as she slapped the cuffs on Louise.

“You're arresting me? For what? I did nothing wrong?” Louise asked.

“For that, “Officer Jenny said while pointing to a bunch of dead flowers and rare redwood. “You cut down endangered redwood trees and uprooted a whole field of rainbow glories which are also endangered and fall under the county’s endangered flora act which clearly states that cutting or uprooting anything protected under this act is illegal.

“You're lying, there is no such act, I did my research,” Louise said.

“Maybe not when you came here but as of a couple weeks ago, the new senator passed this law with the full support of the county,” Officer Jenny said before hauling her off.

The next day the girls were back on the road to lilycove City. where will our heroes go next. Stay tuned, as the journey continues.
