Our heroes finally arrive in Lilycove City after traveling for three days straight. Unfortunately Aqua was out of energy and passed out right then and there.

“I told you we had time to stop but you insisted we keep going,” Turquoise said.

“Well I wanted to see the beach, “Aqua said. “And what about you? Don’t you have a contest to sign up for?

“That does not start until tomorrow so we have time to look around,” Turquoise said.

“Right so the first order of business is food, “Fluttershy said before all three of their stomachs growled at the same time. The three of them left to find somewhere to eat.

Meanwhile in a suspicious looking building Jessie and James were watching the girls on a monitor in their office.

“So the Twerpettes finally made it here,” Jessie said.

“But why are they here?” James asked.

“Isn’t it obvious james? The redhead is here for the contest.well little does she know i’m also entering so i’m going to have great pleasure in mopping the floor with her,"Jessie said before james interrupted her.

“But what about that little investigation into Team Ozone?” James asked.

“I’m pretty sure you can handle it, meanwhile I have some practice to do,” Jessie said before leaving. She left for a room that was exclusive to her. Once inside she opened a closet which contained some of her old costumes for her various personas. One such costume drew her attention “Time for Jessilina to come out of retirement.

Meanwhile at a cafe by the department store the girls were busy discussing the next leg of their journey after the contest.

“Looks like the next boat to Mossdeep Island leaves in a few days,” Turquoise said.

“So what’s the plan for now?” Aqua asked.

“We look around Lilycove,City,” Fluttershy said.

“In that case let’s hit the beach,” Aqua said.

“Sounds good to me,” Turquoise said. Sometime later the girls were now on the beach in their swimsuits. As they were playing Aqua noticed a bunch of big whale-like creatures ramming their heads into what looked like a rock of some kind.

“Hey girls what do you think is going on over there?” Aqua asked.

“My guess, a bunch of Wailord who hate that big rock,” Turquoise said before one of them managed to break through what looked like a steel plate which was actually a door.

“That’s no rock formation, it’s a manmade structure of some kind,” Fluttershy pointed out.

“But who does it belong to?” Aqua asked. Suddenly Turquoise saw the emblem on the door before it sank.

“Team Ozone,” Turquoise said.

“Should we go check it out?” Aqua asked. Before Turquoise could answer the girls were pelted by swift which came from a Team Ozone grunt riding a Skarmory.

“You kids are not going anywhere near our HQ,” The grunt said. Turquoise wasted no time in calling out Dewott.

“Dewott use Aqua Jet. Dewott wasted no time in using Aqua Jet to propel itself towards Skarmory.

“Like that will beat us. Skarmory use Air Cutter. Skarmory unleashed a bunch of blades of air which Turquoise was ready for.

“Now spin Dewott. Dewott spun which allowed the Aqua Jet to expand and block the air cutter before landing a powerful hit. Unfortunately, Skarmory was able to stay flying thanks to sturdy. Just when the grunt thought he had the last laugh Turquoise had Dewott finish him off with Water pulse which caused him and his Skarmory to fall into the water as Dewott landed back on the beach.

“That was great,” Aqua said. Suddenly Dewott began to glow before growing bigger and changing form. A few seconds later a big bipedal creature with shell armor in some places, white whiskers and a beard, and lastly, a shell-like helmet with a blade-like point on it.

“What pokemon is that?” Turquoise asked before pulling out her pokedex.

“Samurott, the Formidable Pokemon and the final evolved form of Oshawott, A master of a sword-drawing art called iaijutsu, Samurott settles its battles with a single swing of either large sword sheathed in its foreleg armor,” The pokedex said. A bit later after changing back into their regular clothes the girls decided to check out team Ozone’s base with Aqua riding her Swampert while Turquoise and Fluttershy were riding Samurott. Once inside they went through a hallway lined with team ozone banners. Once they made it through the corridor they were now in the main part of the base which looked like a multi-leveled complex built around a huge zeppelin which was moored at the moment.

“That’s the biggest blimp I ever saw, “Aqua said.

“I agree but I don’t think a bunch of wailord would be interested in a giant balloon,” Turquoise said as the girls kept exploring the base. They thought many team Ozone grunts along the way and soon found themselves passing a room that had Fluttershy dangerously close to blowing her stack.

“Stay calm Flutters, we will save them but first we need to find a way in there,” Turquoise said. The girls kept exploring until they found the door which had Turquoise call out Samurott. “Ok Samurott use razor shell on that door. Samurott drew what looked like an actual sword made of bone before water formed a longer blade which was used to slice through the steel door like paper.

“What the heck? How did you slice that door? It was made of reinforced steel?” One of the scientists asked in shock.

“Not sure but you have more important things to worry about then the door?” Aqua said.

“Like me kicking your butts for harming innocent pokemon,” Fluttershy shouted.

“As if you kids can stop us,” One of the scientists said before calling out a yellow and black bird like pokemon none of the girls have seen before which cued Turquoise to pull out her Pokedex.

“Kilowattrel, The Frigatebird Pokemon, Kilowattrel inflates its throat sac to amplify its electricity. By riding the wind, this Pokémon can fly over 430 miles in a day,” The pokedex said. The other scientist called out a Staraptor.

“Leave it to me to save the pokemon, Aqua can I trust you to aid Fluttershy in this battle?” Turquoise said.

“Leave it to us to keep these birds off your back, “Aqua said. As the battle went on Turquoise got to work removing the locks on the restraints they had on the Bagon and other pokemon they were using for research. As soon as she freed them more team ozone grunts filled the room.

“Looks like I get to battle too, “Turquoise said as she called out Espeon. Bagon was glued to all the action especially Turquoise who was kicking butt left and right.

Meanwhile while all the action was going on Sky was exiting the vault with the meteor that was stolen from the weather institute.

“You kiddies may have found our HQ but that does not mean Team Ozone is defeated,” Sky said while walking towards the zeppelin and boarding it along with her three administrators and a good handful of grunts. “Release the ropes and open the roof. As soon as one of the scientists pulled the lever for the hatch on the roof a bunch of alarms went off.

“What is happening?” Aqua shouted.

“Ha you're too late kids, Mistress Sky and the crew selected for operation clean sweep are about to head to the final destination to enact it,” One of the grunts said in an arrogant way.

“Where are they going?” Aqua demanded.

“As if i’m telling you kids anything, i’m getting out of here before the big kaboom,” The grunt said before running off.

“What did he mean by kaboom?” Aqua asked before she got her answer when an announcement played.

“Self Destruct sequence initiated, T minus ten minutes, please evacuate immediately, “The announcement said. The girls and the pokemon booked it back to the ground floor as fast as they could but unfortunately both swampert and Samurott were too worn out to carry them and the zeppelin was already out of the base as indicated by the roof hanger door closing. “T-minus five minutes until self-destruct.

“Great, how are we going to get out of here? It’s going to take us longer to swim out ourselves, “Aqua said.

“Not to mention carrying all of these pokemon will take longer,” Turquoise said. Suddenly fluttershy noticed a Wailmer then had an idea.

“Hey girls i think we found our solution,” Fluttershy said before she got the Wailmer to come to them. The big pokemon was terrified of all the alarms going off which meant this was a baby Wailmer. “It’s ok we won’t hurt you, but we do have a small favor to ask. Fluttershy calmed it down and the Wailmer agreed to carry everyone out. The wailer booked it and luckily everyone made it out safely with twenty seconds to spare. A bit later the rock formation blew up and all traces of Team Ozone were gone as well as any other remnants of the previous two teams who occupied it. The Wailmer brought everyone back to the beach before the Wailord from earlier approached them.

“Those are the wailord from earlier,” Aqua pointed out before Fluttershy pieced together everything.

“Of course, now everything makes sense, “Fluttershy said.

“Care to fill us in? “Aqua asked.

“This Wailmer got separated from its pod because it mistook team ozone’s zeppelin for a wailord and followed it. When those brutes closed the door the Wailord tried to break it down to go save it but could not fit inside the entrance, “Fluttershy explained. The wailord thanked the girls before they and wailmer left as did the pokemon they rescued except for Bagon who was looking at Turquoise.

“You're free to go too,” Turquoise said.

“I think Bagon wants to come with you,” Fluttershy said.

“Is that true? Do you wish to join my team?” Turquoise asked with Bagon nodding yes. “In that case Go pokeball. Turquoise threw a pokeball at Bagon which made contact and contained it. After a few shakes the capture was successful. “Looks like I just caught a Bagon. Before Turquoise could celebrate more the pokeball vanished which shocked Aqua.

“Is this another one of Team Ozone’s tricks? “Aqua asked.

“Turquoise, that was your seventh capture wasn’t it?” Fluttershy asked.

“Let’s see, Espeon, Meowscarada, Sceptile, Samurott, Ninetails, Metang, Yep that makes six,” Turquoise said while listing them out and counting.

“Is the number of pokemon important? “Aqua asked.

“Very important, You see Aqua pokemon trainers can only carry a maximum of six pokemon at a time, in the event of a seventh one being obtained, the pokemon will be teleported to the place where you got your pokedex from, in my case, Professor oak’s lab back home, “Turquoise explained.

“So how do you retrieve it? Do you drop everything and return home?” Aqua asked.

“Let’s go back to the Pokemon Center and I will show you,” Turquoise said. Sometime later the girls were back at the Pokemon Center where they were in front of the vid phone which Turquoise used to call Professor Oak. A bit later professor oak appeared on screen.

“Ah Turquoise it’s been awhile, how is your journey going so far?” Professor Oak asked.

“Pretty good, “Turquoise said before getting to the point. “Did Bagon make it safely to your end?

“He sure did, granted he was a bit scared at first, did you save him from a lab or something?” professor oak asked.

“As a matter of fact we did,” Turquoise said. “But anyway, do you think you can send him over?

“I’d be happy to, but since you have a full team you need to send someone over. If I recall you have an Alolan ninetails with its hidden ability on your team, I would love to research that, “Professor Oak said.

“Then I will send him over,” Turquoise said. She placed ninetails’s pokeball onto the tray with Aqua observing as the ball was zapped with electricity before vanishing and another pokeball appeared.

“Ninetails made it on my end,” Professor Oak said.

“And Bagon made it on our end,” Turquoise said before ending the call. Turquoise explained to aqua about how the transporter worked before they went about the rest of their day.

Meanwhile in Team Supernova’s base James got a report that Team Ozone’s base was destroyed and there was nothing left in the wreckage. It also included that a giant zeppelin was seen flying off from the direction of the base.

“We will deal with the remnants later right now, return to base,” James said before hanging up. He left the office to see Jessie practicing with her pokemon.

Meanwhile aboard the Team Ozone zeppelin a certain grunt who was currently in the grunt quarters was writing a message while all the other grunts were busy with other stuff. Once she finished writing her message and putting it inside a bottle she left for the deck which thankfully was empty. Fortunately the ocean was still visible since they haven't ascended above the cloud layer yet. After tossing the bottle overboard it was a matter of maintaining her cover until her allies showed up.

“Let’s hope the rest of the G-men find it in time, “She said before leaving to join the rest of the grunts.

Sometime later on a small island thirty miles off the coast of Mossdeep Island Lance was taking a break from training when he noticed a message in a bottle wash up on the shore. He picked it up and uncorked it before pulling out the letter and reading it.

“To my fellow G-men, my mission to infiltrate Team Ozone has been quite successful and I gathered a lot of info on their plan. Currently we are heading for Sky Pillar ahead of schedule due to a few trainers discovering the base and Mistress sky blowing it up to try and hide her tracks, the plan is set to go down on May twenty-third which is the exact day Hurricane Wes is set to hit Hoenn, Hope you find this message before then, Guardian K,” The message said.

“Looks like the time for training is over and now is the time for action,” Lance said.

Back in Lilycove City turquoise and the girls were now relaxing in their room and calling it a day. Turquoise was very excited for tomorrow’s contest and hoped she would win it. What awaits our heroes next? Stay tuned. As the journey continues.
