Awakening Of The Turquoise Heiress
Suri's Last Stand
Previous ChapterNext Chapter2/5/25
A couple more months went by and by this point Turquosie’s boobs were now close to the same size she had with the breast forms and her curves were now close to perfect. However now she reached the part where the mood swings and dangerous stuff would happen. Fortunately, she survived her first mood swing a few days ago. As she was walking through the halls of Crystal Prep her eyes were suddenly drawn to a flier.
“Fashion design contest?” Turquoise said. Suddenly Suri appeared right behind her.
“Don’t bother entering because a noob like you probably does not know the first thing about fashion or sewing, “Suri said.
“I do know about those and if that is a challenge then I accept,” Turquoise said.
“Fine, but I warn you, I never lost at this kind of thing,” Suri said.
“There is a first time for everything, or second time in your case,” Turquoise said.
“What was that you freak?” Suri said.
“You heard me, I heard how Rarity beat you and how you tried to convince her she lost when she actually won,” Turquoise said.
“Who told you that?” Suri snapped after hearing that.
“Rarity herself,” Turquoise said.
“You are lying, there is no way she would associate with someone like you, “Suri said.
“Wanna bet, she actually helped me down this road,” Turquoise said before continuing onward to class since Suri wasted enough of her time. As the day went on Turquoise was more cautious of Suri. Soon Lunch rolled around, and Turquoise decided to tell her friends about the contest.
“Do you really think you can beat Suri in her own domain?” Lemon asked, referring to how fashion design was Suri’s specialty.
“I won’t know until I try,” Turquoise said.
“Ok but do you even know the first thing about sewing or making clothes in general?” Sunny asked.
“My mom showed me some things so I'm sure I can do it,” Turquoise said.
“I know I can’t stop you from entering but I must warn you, Suri won’t exactly give you a fair fight and will most likely steal your fabric and designs, " Fleur said.
“That’s why I have a plan for that,” Turquoise said. She whispered it to her friends in case Suri was trying to eavesdrop. Everyone agreed to her plan since it was not only harmless but perfect for putting Suri in her place. Once school was done for the day and Turquoise finished up at her appointment, she went to the crafts store to buy some supplies. Suri tailed her and saw what she was buying. She bought some normal fabric along with some other stuff. Suri kept tailing her and when she followed her to her mansion the trail was cold.
The next day Turquoise came to school with a special fabric she created. Suri planned on stealing it for her own designs which of course she stole from someone else. Little did she know Turquoise was counting on it since the fabric was just bait to ensnare Suri in a bigger trap. As for the designs, those were drawn by Rarity since like Turquoise she wanted to put Suri in her place too since she needs to be stopped for the real designers who were suffering because of her. While Turquoise was in class Suri made her move. She broke into Turquosie’s locker and stole the fabric which had a good sheen and glitter texture.
“I can make something really good with this and that freak will be going down,” Suri said before putting the lock back on the locker. The day continued and as soon as school ended Suri wasted no time going home to work on her design for the contest. Suri of course took extra precautions to make sure there was nothing to incriminate her should someone call her out. As for Turquoise she already had a head start with her entry which unlike Suri is something original and her own. The contest was tomorrow, and Turquoise was focused. Ruby was watching from a distance.
“I taught her well,” Ruby said before Bullet arrived.
“What is Turquoise doing?” Bullet asked.
“Working on her entry for the fashion contest at the mall tomorrow,” Ruby said.
“Any reason she is entering something like that?” Bullet asked, surprised to see his new daughter had an interest in fashion.
“She told me it was to put a certain no-good cheater in her place,” Ruby said.
“Let me guess who that would be,” Bullet said.
“Suri Polomare,” Ruby and Bullet said in unison.
“I am with Turquoise on this since as a fashion designer myself I can understand the severity of the crime Suri is committing,” Ruby said. Turquoise managed to finish on time and noticed Ruby and bullet watching her.
“What?” Turquoise asked.
“We did not mean to stare, it’s just that it looks amazing, “Ruby said.
“Thanks mom let's just hope it’s enough to at least beat Suri,” Turquoise said.
“Don’t sell yourself short Turquoise, you have just as much a chance to win as anyone, boy or girl,” Ruby said.
“She is right, there are male designers too, I should know since your mom introduced me to some when we traveled together,” Bullet said.
The next day at school Suri was strutting around acting like she already won.
“Might as well just withdraw, loser, because there is no way you can beat me, especially once you see my secret weapon,” Suri said boastfully.
“Don’t count me out just yet because I am not losing either,” Turquoise said.
“Like you can beat me,” Suri said.
“Ok save it for the competition you two,” Lemon said.
“We will settle this then,” Turquoise said before she and her friends left. Time went by and soon it was time to hit the mall for the competition. The competition was in the center area where a stage was set up. Many students gathered to watch. Backstage the models who would be wearing the outfits designed by the contestants were getting ready. Turquoise was waiting outside for Fleur who she chose to wear her design. “Need any help in there?
“No, I got it, “Fleur said while making sure the dress was on right. A bit later Fleur came out wearing what looked like a cyan Lolita dress with teal lace and a bluish green cape-like hood but what was most noticeable was the insignia on the back of the hood which was a red crescent moon with a gold die that had six dots. “I must say this feels quite lovely.
“Thank you I feel it shows the face of the designer,” Turquoise said.
“You mean you right?” Fleur said.
“Exactly, when we create it’s always important to put a bit of our own unique selves into it,” Turquoise said.
“And you are sure that will beat Suri?” Fleur asked.
“Hopefully but let’s let the judges decide,” Turquoise said. The competition was about to start and the MC for the contest took the mic.
“Welcome ladies and gentlemen to this year’s fashion design competition, hosted by the famous designer, Claire Hemline,” The mc said before the audience erupted in applause. “And now let me introduce the judges for our competition, first up, a legend in the fashion world who isn’t afraid to say it like it is, Hoity Toity. The spotlight focused on a well-dressed man. “Next up, a young photographer who made quite the name for herself, Photo Finish. The spotlight shifted towards a girl with white hair and pink shades. “And finally, our third judge will be Ms. Hemline herself. The spotlight shifted towards a woman who looked to be in her early thirties with blonde hair wearing a nice ivory dress.
“I look forward to seeing what these young designers have to show us,” Ms. Hemline said.
“And now here is how the competition works, each designer will have a model wearing their designs so everyone can get a good look at them from all angles, points are scored on a scale of one to ten and the judges will also be adding their own critiques. So, without further ado let's get this show on the road, first up is Vapor trail wearing a nice wonder colt inspired dress designed by none other than Coco Pommel. Vapor strutted down the runway looking quite nervous which the judges could sense.
“I see a lot of school spirit in that dress,” Hoity said.
“Simply stunning,” Photo Finish said.
“I will admit it is a good dress but in my opinion it's a bit simplistic,” Hemline said. Coco’s design got a score of 7, 7, and 6 which set the bar at 20 points.
“Now let's move onto our next design shall we,” The mc said before the next model came out as soon as Vapor returned backstage. Several more models went up and the outfit they wore scored lower than Coco’s which showed how tough this competition was.
“These amateurs don’t stand a chance against us,” Suri said to her model who was wearing a shimmering midnight blue gown with lots of glitter and gems. Soon the Mc called Suri’s model up.
“Next up is Estelle wearing a quite dazzling number made by Suri Polomare. Estelle strutted down the runway as the lights refracted off the gems and glitter of the gown. Fortunately, the judges were already wearing shades, so they were able to see it.
“Now that’s what I call a gorgeous gown,” Hoity said.
“It has Da magics,” Photo finished said.
“All that glitz and shine is nice, but it is a tad too much,” Hemline said. Suri’s score was 10, 10, and 8. Hemline deducted points for going overboard with all the glitter and gems which obstructed Estelle from view slightly. Currently Suri had the highest score, and Turquoise was the last contestant up.
“Top that freak, oh wait you can’t because you got nothing, “Suri said.
“Oh really,” Turquoise said as Fleur got ready for her turn.
“And last but not least, we have Fleur De Lis wearing what looks like a very kawaii Lolita outfit designed by Turquoise Dusk. Fleur strutted down the runway which got the crowd excited. The judges also looked quite pleased.
“I must say this outfit looks quite cute and stylish,” Hoity said.
“I agree it has more of da magics,” Photo finish said.
“I really love the unique design and the cape-like hood certainly adds to the charm, like a modern-day red riding hood,” Hemline said. Turquoise crossed her fingers as she waited for the judge’s scores. Hoity gave her a ten, Photo finish gave her a ten, and the tension was rising as Turquoise waited for hemline’s score. A few seconds later, Hemline gave Turquoise a ten which was a perfect thirty which shocked Suri a lot.
“And there you have it folks, the winning designer is Turquoise Dusk,” The Mc said which caused the crowd to erupt with applause as Turquoise came out. Suri also came out outraged that she lost.
“No fair, how come this transgender freak got a perfect score while I did not? “Suri shouted while also pointing out how Turquosie’s Lolita outfit had no shine to it.
“The answer Ms. Polomare is obvious,” Hemline said before continuing. “Ms. Dusk showed us a dress that was not just her own design but showed us the face of the designer, her own personal style, as for your gown, while it was indeed dazzling, when we strip away all the glitter and glam all we see is emptiness, someone who lacks their own ideas or style, And if I must explain further we saw the faces of other designers instead of yours, Did you even make the fabric you used?
“Of course I did, “Suri said.
“Then why don’t you explain your process,” Hemline said. Suri was sweating now that she was on the spot. Suri stuttered for a minute before Turquoise spoke.
“It’s a special fabric that was splashed in a special compound that makes the fabric shine before having it coated in glitter,” Turquoise explained.
“And how do you know that?” Hoity asked.
“Because my mom helped me make that fabric and Suri stole it from my locker at school,” Turquoise said.
“This is quite the serious accusation,” Hoity said.
“But it's all true,” Rarity said before approaching the stage. I competed against Suri in the past and she did the same thing to me and also did it again today. That dress was my design and here is the proof. Rarity showed the judges her sketch of it. Suddenly the judges looked at Suri as if they were angry with her.
“You, Ms. Polomare, are the absolute worst cheat I ever had the displeasure of seeing, “Hoity said.
“Einverstanden,” Photo finish said in her native language.
“You are an absolute disgrace to the world of fashion, piggybacking off of others instead of having your own ideas,” Hemline said.
“As if none of you ever had creative blocks in your life?” Suri said.
“You're wrong, everyone has one every now and then,” Rarity said.
“Don’t lie, you always have an idea, always able to come up with something, and always beating me,” Suri said.
“You’re right I do have ideas, but even I have a creative block every once in a while, that day when you stabbed me in the back by stealing my fabric and using it, I was going in circles until inspiration struck, I know I put the competition before my friends but without them I would not have even had the strength to bounce back,” Rarity said.
“It’s over Suri, you lost,” Turquoise said.
“You may have won this competition, Turquoise Dusk, but next time I will beat you,” Suri said before Ms. Hemline cut her off.
“This will be no next time for you Ms. Polomare, because for violating the rules of this competition and for every other act of foul play you committed in previous competitions, you are hereby banned from participating in any and all future design competitions,” Hemline said. Before Suri could do the part where the villainess shouts no to the heavens her mom showed up and she was not happy.
“Suri Paulina Polomare, you are in so much trouble,” Suri’s mom said.
“Paulina?” Turquoise said.
“No wait Mom I can explain,” Suri tried to say only for her mom to cut her off.
“Oh, save it young lady, because getting barred from competitions like these is not the only reason, we are very angry with you,” Suri’s mom said.
“Did you say we?” Suri asked. Suddenly a man approached them. “Dad? You’re back from the army?
“That’s right, young lady I got back from Afghanistan and what did I find out? That my own daughter is a bully and a cheater,” Suri’s dad said.
“But dad, that girl over there is some sissy boy who has no right being on equal footing with the real girls,” Suri said, not realizing she was digging a deeper hole for herself.
“So, we don’t care, and neither should you,” Suri’s mom said.
“I think it’s time for some extreme measures, don’t you think Marianne?” Suri’s dad asked.
“Agreed Stanford,” Suri’s mom said.
“Extreme measures? You don’t mean?” Suri asked before her dad confirmed it.
“That’s right, St. Olga’s military school for girls in good old Alaska, since the public school system failed to discipline you it’s time to let the military take a crack at you,” Suri's dad said before both he and Suri’s mom dragged her away. As for Turquoise she won the cash prize and a spot on the cover of Fashion Titans magazine.
The next day Haruka and Turquoise were having lunch at Maid Cafe Kitsune.
“It’s safe to say we have officially heard the last of Suri Polomare,” Haruka said.
“You said it and now things are looking bright for the second half of the school year,” Turquoise said.
“By the way, what are you planning to do with the prize money?” Haruka asked.
“I put it all into our convention fund, love,” Turquoise said.
“You seriously put all $250,000 into the savings for our trip to Anime fest? Aren't you rich and able to afford it regardless?” Haruka asked.
“I could but I’m seventeen now it’s time I considered earning my own money especially since once we start college we will be on our own,” Turquoise said.
“Slow down love, it’s great you want to earn it, but let’s not worry about college until next school year,” Haruka said.
“Ok love,” by the way? I was thinking of applying for a job here this summer, do you think I should do it?” Turquoise asked. Suddenly the thought of Turquoise in a maid outfit acting like the maids here crossed her mind.
“Go for it but first finish your transition, I want to see my maid acting cute not sad or angry,” Haruka said.
“That’s the plan,” Turquoise said.
Author's Note
And with that Suri Polomare is now gone for good. I know I already posted one chapter today, but I suddenly had the inspiration to write this one. All the stuff about seeing the face of the designer is similar to what Erina Nakiri's grandfather said, and I agree. rather its cooking, fashion design or anything creative, it's always important to put a bit of yourself into it and say, "this is my creation and only mine," I usually don't care much about morals but in Suri's case I felt it necessary.
