The Elevator soon reached the third floor, and the girls were now standing on the outskirts of what looked like some steampunk city with gears and everything.

“Ladies, welcome to Midgard,” Turquoise said.

“Wow, it looks so futuristic,” Lemon said.

“Thanks to the Nekomatas and their crazy intelligence,” Turquoise said.

“I’m assuming that’s what I am? “Lemon asked.

“Exactly,” Turquoise said.

“Enough talk let's enter the city and plan our next move,” Haruka said. The girls entered the city and to their surprise it looked a lot like a modern-day city except for the flying machines and various mechs. They found the inn and as soon as they entered a cat girl with blonde hair with matching cat ears and a tail wearing a maid outfit greeted them.

“Welcome, how meow we serve you?” The cat girl asked.

“You got to be kidding me, “Haruka said, not believing what she just saw.

“What?” Turquoise asked.

“Is this what you think cat girls are like?” Haruka asked.

“You don’t like maid outfits?” Turquoise asked.

“It’s not that, the whole cutesy cat thing,” Haruka said, expecting this from the mind of some perverted sicko rather than her own lover.

“Too much?” Turquoise asked.

“Exactly, " Haruka said. “Look I know this is your game and I have no right to tell you how to design it, but these are human beings too and should be treated as such,” Haruka said.

“I don’t mind one bit,” Lemon said.

“Lemon, you of all people should be offended since you're a Nekomata too,” Haruka said.

“You are aware none of this is real right so who cares, “Lemon said.

“And I suppose you think Turquoise and I should end our sentences with the word Kun like a real fox?” Haruka asked.

“I did not say that” Lemon said.

“Well, you don’t seem to care about your race getting belittled,” Haruka said. Turquoise was beginning to notice that they were starting to lose sight of who they really are and discovered the longer they stay the more they will feel like caving into being animals.

“Enough, both of you, the three of us are still humans, Haruka, I do appreciate your input, but I don’t see the harm in having real cat girls act this way for the players, and lemon you are right, none of this is real but we need to focus, or this will be real to us,” Turquoise said.

“What do you mean?” Lemon asked.

“I mean the longer we stay in this game, the more our animal sides take hold, and we lose our grasp on reality,” Turquoise said.

“You mean if we don’t hurry, even if we do escape, the real world will be fake to us?” Haruka asked.

“Exactly, so let’s hurry before we all feel like eating fish and lemon feels like pooping in a box,” Turquoise said. The girls spent the next couple of days clearing the four dungeons nonstop since the clock was now ticking on their humanity. Soon they gathered the four keys and unlocked the tower to the fourth floor which was another elevator.

Back in the real world the nefarious five were now standing trial for not just what happened in Japan but for leaving the state during an investigation. This trial did not last very long since they were guilty of the crime and were sentenced to twenty years in prison. Unfortunately, before the five could leave the courtroom Nathan had one last trick up his sleeve. He and the rest of the nefarious five attached some strange looking device to their heads.

“What are those things?” the judge asked.

“Wireless Relays, you may take our bodies, but our minds will be elsewhere enacting revenge on the girl who started all this trouble for us, “Nathan said before pressing a button. A few seconds later the bodies of the nefarious five were now comatose just like Turquoise, Haruka, and Lemon. The bailiff tried to remove the devices but was electrocuted upon touching them.

“Are they dead?” The judge asked. The bailiff confirmed that they were still alive after feeling a pulse from all five of them. “Well let’s move them to a prison cell in the meantime.

Back inside the game the girls finally made it to Floor four which was just a massive plain of grass with no building or foliage or anything.

“Well girls we finally made it,” Turquoise said.

“Great, where is the exit?” Lemon said.

“Over there behind that five headed dragon statue,” Turquoise said before looking shocked by what she saw.

“Are you ok, love?” Haruka asked.

“No, I'm not and soon we won’t be,” Turquoise said.

“What’s the problem? “Lemon asked.

“That dragon, I did not make that or even program that, which means that must be the final boss Twilight warned us about,” Turquoise said. Suddenly the dragon broke out of its stone casing and now looked real.

“Turquoise Dusk you are going to pay for everything,” One of the heads said in a voice turquoise recognized.

“Wait, can this thing talk?” Lemon asked since none of the boss monsters they thought were capable of communicating.

“That voice, it’s Nathan’s,” Turquoise said.

“How observant of you,” the head that belonged to Charlse said.

“We will destroy you three as payback,” the head that belonged to Jackson said.

“And once we are done, there won’t be anything left,” The head that belonged to Gary said.

“You really think you can beat us? I designed this game, so I am in control,” Turquoise said.

“Oh really, look beneath you,” the head that belonged to Lowrance said. The girls looked down and saw that they were now standing on a giant red pentagram. “What you're looking at is the seal of hades, now when someone dies the safeguards will be overwritten and their brain will be fried. The fight began and despite the girl's best efforts the dragon was still fighting with lots of strength as if their attacks did not leave a dent.

“We can’t beat this thing, they are too strong, “Haruka said.

“I was hoping not to do this but it’s an emergency,” Turquoise said before preparing to speak. “System login, ID Stellarton. Suddenly a bunch of screens appeared in front of Turquoise.

“What is she up to?” Lowrance asked.

“System command, Set Nefarious Hydra to level one,” Turquoise said before the level and health bar on the dragon changed to that of a low-level monster.

“How is this possible? our ace in the hole has been weakened,” Nathan asked in shock.

“I switched over to my admin account which by the way outranks all other accounts including yours, basically I’m the goddess of this world,” Turquoise said coldly since she was really angry that these five had the nerve to fuck around with her invention and her game. “System Command, generate Object, ID Awakened Sword of Naturia. Suddenly a powerful sword with nine gems embedded into the blade appeared before Turquoise grabbed it. She lunged at the dragon and unleashed a powerful slash that decapitated all five heads and caused the dragon to explode and the seal to vanish.

“You could have done that the whole time?” Lemon asked.

“Why didn’t you use that before?” Haruka asked.

“Because up till now I did not need to, besides admin privileges does not mean an instant jump to a floor we have not reached yet,” Turquoise said.

“But you could have saved us the trouble and just brought the keys to us, right?” Lemon said.

“Also not possible, those five wrecked my code so much I could only access what I have not put in yet,” Turquoise said. “Besides, did you not enjoy our adventure?

“We did have fun, more than anything,” Haruka said.

“Too bad it’s over now,” Lemon said.

“For now, it is but once the complete version comes out, I promise I will show you the whole game,” Turquoise said. “Now let's go home. The girls entered the portal which closed behind them as the screen went blank.

Meanwhile in the prison cell, the relays on the nefarious five heads began to short circuit and turned them into vegetables due to Nathan not including the safeguards Turquoise did in her prototypes. Apparently, Nathan really meant to kill Turquoise and her friends, but his plan backfired.

Back in Turquosie’s room the girls suddenly came to and tried to get up but could barely stand.

“Easy girls, you've been in there for almost five days now so your bodies are weak,” Haruka's mom said. Suddenly bullet hugged Turquoise

“I’m sorry for everything, I promise you those five are so fired,” Bullet said while crying.

“It’s ok dad, none of this was your fault, but as for their fate, I have a feeling we are about to learn about it soon,” Turquoise said. Just as turquoise said that a news report came on the tv in Turquosie’s room.

“The Nefarious Five were found dead in their cell a few moments ago, the police managed to retrieve the devices and have no idea what they are, “The reporter said. As soon as Turquoise saw them, she knew what happened.

“Nathan you stupid moron, you downloaded the consciousness of you and her cohorts into that dragon without implementing the safeguards,” Turquoise shouted.

“Love, are you ok?” Haruka asked.

“I’m fine, just a bit upset that Nathan tried to copy my invention and did a very poor job I might add,” Turquoise said.

“Well in any case you girls should work on regaining your strength before doing anything else,” Micheal said as all of them went to the dining room to eat.

Suddenly the Nefarious five came to, inside what looked like some kind of void. They noticed their minds were still inside the dragon they made.

“Where are we?” Gary asked. Suddenly they saw some files that looked like rejected monsters along with other deleted files.

“The trash bin, where deleted files end up before being permanently deleted,” Nathan said.

“Well, how do we get out?” Lowrance asked.

“We can’t, when we were deleted from the game our admin privileges were also deleted so we are trapped,” Nathan said.

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,” All five of them shouted through the void with no one to hear them.

Meanwhile in the real world, the girls were eating up a storm.

“Wow, I have never seen Turquoise eat so much,” Ruby said.

“Well five days with no food or drink will make you hungry enough to eat a mountain,” Haruka’s mom said.

“So what do you plan to do with that game of yours?” Haruka’s dad asked Turquoise.

“Once I fix the damage those five have done, I'm putting development on hold since I think the three of us have had enough VR for one lifetime, Kun,” Turquoise said before noticing what she said at the end.

“What did you say?” Ruby asked.

"Love, are you feeling alright?” Haruka asked.

“Oh no I think my fennexian side must have come back with me,” Turquoise said.

“Does that mean we will,'' Lemon asked before Turquoise smiled a bit.

“Just kidding,” Turquoise said, which got a light punch to the arm from Haruka.

“Don’t scare us like that, " Lemon said. Everyone went home and turquoise went back to her computer to begin work on repairing the damage and erasing the files the nefarious five left on her computer. Twenty minutes later her code was completely fixed, and she moved on to her trash can which had a lot of files in it. She hit the empty trash button and as soon as she did, she could hear the faint sound of the dragon’s screams as they were permanently deleted. With everything now fixed she locked away her nerve gears and went to sleep in her actual bed for the first time.

In Haruka's room she was very glad to see it again. She quickly changed for bed and went to sleep.

“Look forward to our date love,” Haruka said to a picture of Turquoise she had next to her.

Meanwhile with Lemon as soon as she returned to her room, she noticed she had a lot of missed messages from her friends and so many missed calls. Lemon decided to call Sunny first. After a few rings She picked up.

“Finally, we were worried sick, “Sunny said.

“Sorry for worrying you girls, Turquoise, Haruka, and I were trapped in Turquoise’s new game by five creepy old dudes,” Lemon said.

“Are you hurt in any way?” Sunny asked.

“No I’m ok, although we did fast after being trapped for five days,” Lemon said.

“As long as you are ok,” Sunny said. The two caught up and after a while Sunny hung up to inform the others.

“Hopefully the rest of the summer will be less chaotic,” Lemon said before going to bed.
