The next day silver was working on installing the new parts he ordered for his nerve gear prototype. Once he was done he tested it again and this time managed to get the landing coordinates right. Now that the system was built it was time to begin development of the game itself. Silver logged out and as soon as he regained consciousness he waited no time in typing away at his computer which was open to the server he made for his game. Bullet entered and noticed Silver was busy working.

“I thought you would be out cold,” Bullet said.

“The nerve gear works and now it's time for the next step, developing the world of the game,” Silver said.

“What kind of game is it? Don’t tell me it's going to be one of those girly ones,” Bullet said.

“Relax, it's nothing of the sort, it's a fantasy MMORPG which is suitable for all ages and genders,” Silver said as a town was beginning to form on the screen.

“And the characters?” Bullet asked.

“The player characters will be customizable, but right now my main focus is on world building,” Silver said as the town began to expand and grow. Bullet was relieved to see some semblance of his son remaining even though he now looks like a valley girl. Suddenly Ruby came in.

“Glad to see you two are not at each other's throats anymore,” Ruby said.

“Now hold on, I never actually said I agreed with Silver changing genders on us, I'm hoping he will come to his senses and go back to being our son,” Bullet said.

“I prefer being Turquoise and I'm sorry dad but I'm not turning back,” Silver said.

“Don’t tell me you're going to start dating boys at some point too,” Bullet said, not too thrilled about the potential muscular meathead Turquoise might bring home.

“Maybe I will, maybe I won’t, I’m not sure yet,” Turquoise said.

“Turquoise dear, if you do find someone, make sure they treat you right, despite what names the students at school call you, you are not a slut or a whore,” Ruby said.

“I know, and I can assure you I'm no Malty Melromarc,” Silver said.

“Who is that?” Ruby said.

“The one female character I will never be under any circumstances because she is a liar, a thief, and a downright horrible person who most certainly deserved the death penalty,” Silver said.

“What has she done that makes you hate her so much?” Bullet asked.

“She played all four of the cardinal heroes like fools and stabbed all four of them in the back before robbing them and worst of all she ruined Nafumi's good name and completely shattered his trust in people,” Silver said. Ruby looked it up and found the Wikia page about her and what she looked like.

“Is she also the reason why you rather dye that beautiful red hair of yours?” Ruby said.

“Of course not,” Silver said.

“Silver, don't let those bullies compare you to this monster,” Ruby said.

“They don’t, as far as I've seen a lot of them could care less about anime,” Silver said. Suddenly Lemon and Fleur came in which by this point got on Silver's nerves since they challenged his room’s sanctity. “Ok, does anyone else want to come in?

“Bad time?” Lemon asked.

“Not at all we were just having a discussion about Malty Melromarc,” Ruby said.

“That conniving bitch from Rising Of The Shield Hero?” Lemon asked.

“The very same,” Silver said.

“Why talk about her?” Lemon asked.

“Because Silver brought her up when we talked about boys,” Ruby said. “He worries everyone will compare him to her if he embraces his natural hair color.

“Listen, we don’t care about the color of your hair. Malty may be a redhead but that’s not why we all hate her,” Lemon said.

“Ok i’m feeling very confused by this conversation,” Bullet said.

“Silver, do you have the anime in your collection?” Ruby asked.

“I have the first season,” Silver said.

“Then let's go watch it,” Ruby said before adding that Lemon and Fleur could join this time. Silver closed his program and went straight to his game room to set it up. Sometime later all five of them were watching the first episode. Bullet and Ruby’s impressions of malty were good for now but once the scene where Malty sets Nafumi up as the bad guy that’s when they saw what silver was talking about.

“You were right, Malty is a bitch,” Bullet said.

“Oh it gets worse further into the anime,” Silver said. They binged through the first episode until they reached the part where Nafumi meets the slave trader.

“Who is this guy?” Ruby asked.

“The slave trader, which means we are getting close to the part where my favorite character gets introduced,” Silver said. They keep watching as soon as Nafumi reveals Raphtalia, Bullet and Ruby begin to look confused.

“That’s the girl you have plastered all over your car? She looks like a child?” Bullet asked.

“Not to mention quite sickly,” Ruby said.

“Right now she is but further into the anime she is all grown up,” Silver said.

“What do you see in girls like her?” Bullet said.

“If you mean beast people or demi humans, than its simple, they have better affinity for power and magic than humans do, plus to be honest the ears and tails make them look cuter and more attractive,” Silver said They moved on to the next episode which picked up where it left off on Raphtalia . After the opening the episode began with Nafumi cutting his finger.

“Why is Nafumi cutting his finger and what is that ink for?” Fleur asked.

“They are setting up the contract,” Silver explained. He went into detail about how the slave owner’s blood is mixed into the ink before it is used to bind the slave to them which marks them with a crest. Ruby was a bit concerned with how Raphtalia was in pain and how cold Nafumi was being to her.

“Relax, Nafumi cares about her, keep watching and you will see,” Lemon said. They binged through many episodes. Bullet and Ruby saw exactly what Silver meant when he said malty destroyed Nafumi’s trust in people and when they got to the part where malty tries to murder her own sister they saw more reason to hate her as much as Silver did. They kept watching until they reached silver’s favorite part which was the trial of Malty and King Aultcray.

“Malty I get but why the king as well?” Fleur asked.

“Because Aultcray went behind the queen’s back and conspired with the three heroes' church along with summoning the four heroes,” Silver said. Suddenly they reached the scene where the queen pulled out the slave crest set.

“Malty’s words alone can’t be trusted so the queen is binding her with a slave crest to ensure the truth is known, " Lemon said, tagging in for silver on the explanations.

“And how exactly will that work?” Bullet said.

“Think of the crests as the magic version of a lie detector,” Silver said as the guards pulled down Malty’s breastplate exposing more of her boobs which were plastered with the crest..

“Silver, if you ever take the plunge and decide to become a real female, please don’t do that to your boobs even if you want a boy’s attention,” Ruby said.

“Relax, I won't, I don't want to be someone’s slut or slave,” Silver said. They watched the entire trail scene and Silver laughed every time Malty got zapped.

“I don’t get the joke,” Fleur said.

“It's funny because Bitch is getting zapped and is so stupid because she keeps lying knowing full well it will only keep the pain coming,” Silver said.

“I don’t find it funny, I think people deserve second chances,” Ruby said.

“No mom you don’t know Malty like I do, she is completely unredeemable and what happens next infuriates me,” Silver said. Soon they reached the scene where Aultcray and Malty were about to be executed via guillotine. Suddenly Silver’s parents saw why this scene upset him because of how the two of them avoided death and renaming them was not punishment enough. Once the first season ended everyone went back to what they were doing. Silver showed lemon and Fleur to his room where he got back to work on expanding his world.

“Just what kind of game are you making anyway?” Lemon asked.

“It’s a fantasy MMORPG,” Silver said not ready to spoil anything more than that.

“What’s it called?” Fleur asked.

“It has no official name yet, “Silver said as he finished the first town.

“Can you at least tell us more?” Lemon asked.

“Not at this moment but once the game reaches the testing phase I will invite you to test it with me,” Silver said as he closed the server after saving his progress. “Now what say we do something fun.

Meanwhile in a japanese-style mansion a girl with small breasts and short light blonde hair was sitting with her parents.

“Now let’s discuss your new school young lady,” The father said.

“If you are going to tell me to not fight, save it, you two may not care about your friends but I do,” The girl said.

“Haruka, listen we have friends too and we do care, it's just we use our words not our fists,” The mother said.

“Well words mean nothing to anyone, do words stop bullies from attacking? Do words compel people to magically change?” Haruka asked.

“Well look at what fighting has got you, Expelled from four different schools,” Haruka’s dad said.

“Well those schools should have done a better job when it comes to handling prejudice and hatred,” Haruka said.

“We know but listen, This next school is your very last chance before the courts take you away and send you off to Juvie,” Haruka’s mom said.

“And let me guess you want me to fall in line and submit to the rule of another tyrannical principal who only cares about their ego and bank account,” Haruka said, already hearing it three times now.

“I can assure you principal Cadence is different, she sounded quite nice over the phone and was even willing to accept your terms regarding the uniform,” Haruka’s dad said.

“So I don't have to wear some frou-frou skirt this time?” Haruka asked.

“Nope,” Haruka's mom said, knowing how her daughter feels about feminine clothes.

“That’s a good start,” Haruka said.

“Good, but remember if you get expelled, not even we can save you even if we wanted to,” Haruka’s dad said. Haruka went back to her room somewhat looking forward to her new school but most of all she was looking for someone.

“Please let this be the school he is at,” Haruka said while looking at a picture of her and what appeared to be Silver in Elementary school.

Back with Silver he and his friends were just about done for the day and decided to call it.

“Well Silver, see you at school tomorrow, " Lemon said.

“And don’t worry we will have your back should someone try anything,” Fleur said before the two of them left. Silver changed and for some reason he felt like something was about to happen at school tomorrow and not in a bad way. He went to bed feeling somewhat excited.
