Maria Feodorovna (Dagmar of Denmark) former empress of Russia and the grandmother of Sunset Shimmer Romanov. By radio she contacted her granddaughter and made arrangements to meet up with her. Maria was with her two remaining children, Grand Duchess Xenia and Olga Alexandrovna of Russia with their families who could make it.

Sunset sent an escort of the Russian sister ships, Imperatritsa Mariya, Svobodnaya Rossiya, and Volya, battlecruisers. Along with a century of Roman Klabautermanns, each soldier being a ship that in their ship forms they could summon hundreds of crew copies of themselves. They made sure that the royal family stayed safe on the road to where Sunset is.

Using one of the Roman ships that has been modified to be transport on wheels, the royal family traveled on the paved road left behind by the main army. The Russian Klabautermanns, Imperatritsa Mariya, Svobodnaya Rossiya, and Volya, pulled the transport ship, showing the power and endurance that they have. The Roman Klabautermanns march on all sides of the ship and riding on said ship on high alert.

The sight of the army scared off any would be bandits from trying to attack the convoy. The bandits are made up of ex soldiers and the desperate but learned that the Klabautermanns aren’t to be messed with. The bandits are also being hunted down by the Klabautermanns who unlike their human counterparts, don’t get tried and don’t need sleep. The Russian Klabautermanns can go for a month before they needed to refuel and rest, the Roman Klabautermanns being sail ships, while slower could just keep on going without rest. Resulting in the Roman Klabautermanns just chasing down their prey by never stopping the chase while the humans needed to rest and sleep. (1)

The convoy made great time and it took them only about 10 hours to reach the camp site where Sunset had setup camp. Having been radioed ahead of the convoy of them coming. Sunset had everything setup to receive her family that she still cares about, she and her grandmother always had a rocky relationship but she and her aunts are her only living relatives that she’s close too now.

The convoy -

Peaking out of the window of the ship transport once one of the soldiers guarding them told them that they reach the came, Maria looked out to see that the whole camp is a sea of women. Very beautiful women who dress in outfits that isn’t for northern Russia weather, which they weren’t affected by the cold at all. They showed off too much skin for her taste, for her daughters too as they reminded their husbands that they’re there with them and their children.

The ship transport stop and the royal family got off the transport that was setup for them to travel in. Each got a private room for themselves and a main large room for all of them, and a bathroom. Her granddaughter was very eager to see them again.

The other extended family have been in contact with her and her daughters, all wanting them to reign in Sunset. She is a copy of Anastasia, having admitted that she has all the memories of the slain princess, living a life she hasn’t lived. And that her new body is that of a magical unicorn pony who is the human Anastasia’s counterpart, who travel to Earth by a magic mirror. She was starving to death when Baba Yaga used her in the ritual to bring the human princess back to life. Resulting in someone new, she isn’t Anastasia or Sunset anymore, she’s both of them now. But she’s still has the family connection to her aunts and their families and her grandmother. They’re the only ones who can still influence her.

Maria spotted the Roman floating palace ship, Prima who is manned by those copies of her. A long line of identical women are lining up on the carpet leading from the transport ship to the palace. All of them being tall dark haired beautiful women whose thick long hair hangs to their her feet. Their voluptuous bodies, massive breasts, large butt, and small waist, are covered by a fine silk toga picta and tunica palmata colored purple, embroidered with gold and wore many jewels on their bodies.

Glancing back to her daughters they both look unhappy at the sight of the women and how their husbands are staring at them. She then stops as Rasputin appeared in front of her, she has heard of him and met him a few times. She had thought of him to be just a con man who claimed that he was treating her grandson. But now with everything that has happen, he showed that he was more than he had seemed.

Rasputin motions for her to follow and walks towards the pleasure palace. Maria look back to her daughters and their families, all look uneasy with the ghost of the priest. Maria followed the ghost and her family followed her.

Prima Pleasure Palace -

The doors of the grand hall open revealing a large table laid out with a feast, greeted them. Which are the meals for the first class passengers of the SS Titanic. There is also a live band of black American soldiers, waiting to start playing. They were greeted by an English woman dress in a male captain’s uniform as their ghostly guide disappeared.

“I am SS Titanic, I have prepared the courses for tonight,” the buxom brown haired woman said.

“You’re Titanic?” Olga asked having read the news story about the sinking of said ship.

“Yes, been raised from the depths and now apart of the Russian fleet,” Titanic said.

“How?” Olga asked.

“Princess Sunset has been having the submarine Klabautermanns exploring the depths of the sea and came across my wreck. They been salvaging wrecks and gathering pieces of said wrecks to use to summon a Klabautermann. Many here are wrecks that have been brought back to life and are now apart of a fleet again. While we were from different countries, like the many sunken Spanish treasure ships, we have no loyalty to our old countries, that was another life. We’re now part of the logistic fleet to handle the supplies while the fighting ships can do what they’re made for,” Titanic said. (2)

“Logistics?” Olga ask again.

“With the war and the civil war here, trade and supplies are at an all time low or stop entirely. Klabautermanns like Langton Grange who was a refrigerated steam cargo ship, provide food for the starving people. Speaking of which here’s the courses,” Titanic said.

Maria and her family were all seated at the table where voluptuous maids serve them plates with serving of the food that’s been laid out. Sunset came walking out of one of the doors and silently sat down at the table. Sunset looks at her grandmother, her two aunts, their husbands and their children, her cousins.

“Thank you for coming, my family,” Sunset said. “By the end of the month I should have taken back the throne, barring any unforeseen setbacks. The Romanov‘s will once again be the royal family of Russia. I have even taken steps to keep all of you safe.”

Sunset motions to 6 of the maids who step forward and 2 of each walk over to either of her aunts and her grandmother.

“They’re are the former royal yachts. Who will be assigned to all of you. Aunt Xenia, you have, Dvina who was once Derzhava before being renamed and Alexandria. Aunt Olga you have Livadia and Polyarnaya Zvezda. Grandmother you have Opyt the first Livadia before being renamed, and Tsarevna. They will both serve you and protect you, all of them heavily armed and armored. As for my cousins I can make some arrangements in the future,” Sunset said.

“Don’t you need to be the ruler to summon Klabautermann?” Xenia asked.

“Oh that, I need to be a ruler to summon them from anywhere. But if I have something that once was apart of a ship, I can summon them no matter what. It’s the reason why I needed the title of Roman Empress, to be able to summon ships who have long since been destroyed and no remains are left. And because they’re sunken and long been abandon by their home countries, they just become apart of the new Russian fleet. The Spanish treasure ship Klabautermanns and others like them have given me a war chest that not only can fund this war but also the rebuilding,” Sunset explains.

“Russia will need much for the rebuilding,” Maria said.

“I know. Father wasn’t up to ruling and the wars showed it. Of course grandfather never did bother to teach him how to be a ruler. I have much to do to get this country running again and solving the problems that caused the unrest to happen in the first place. At least with the Klabautermanns replacing the human soldiers, there won’t be any soldiers firing into crowds and me being blame for it. We won’t have to worry about keeping the military on our side after this war is over with,” Sunset said.

“How different are you from Anastasia?” Maria ask.

“I have all of her memories, that have mixed with the other memories of who I was before. I know that you and Anastasia never really gotten along. But your relationship with her is much better than with my other mother. All she had seen me as was a tool, to be used and thrown away when no longer needed,” Sunset said.

“Other mother?” Maria asked.

“I regal you with my tale of my pony side and the birth mother who never wanted me,” Sunset explained as she began her tale to her human family. And motion for the jazz band to wait a bit longer but are free to share the courses of meals that the royal family are enjoying at a table being set up for them.

1 - Real life sail ships can keep on moving long after the ships with engines have run out of fuel. The Roman shipgirls are able to keep moving when the Russian shipgirls are out of fuel, they’re weaker and slower but they make it up with endurance.

2 - With thousands of ships both recorded and unrecorded that have sank or disappeared in the Atlantic Ocean. The submarine girls of Sunset’s fleet are able to find pieces of wrecks and using that Sunset can summon a new shipgirl. Rather than using a wide net summon and hoping to get the ones she wants.
