Dream World : Part One - Floya' and the Universe

''Agh, for the love of buck!'' Pyromancer said in frustration, when he missed his big opportunity.

Luna and Traveler 'woke' up at the same time. Though Traveler cried out and looked terrified, Luna just stared at him in sympathy. As Traveler's harsh breathing increased, Luna started to regret making him fall asleep. But if she didn't do it, she would never get to know what happened to him...

''Traveler, calm down! It was only a memory! These things are in your past, none of this will happen again!'' Luna tried to calm him down.

Traveler's posture got back its 'ready' state, as he stopped panting and looked at Luna. His serious expression bothered her...
''It happened recently...''

Luna's eyes widened. Images of nearly destroying the Crystal Mountains flowed through her mind and the middle of this images, an enraged Traveler. ''H... how? When?!'' She asked him, slightly panicking.

Traveler stayed silent for a while, still regaining from his bad memories. ''Sombra... I reached the Breaking Point... and the monster returned... me...''

''Traveler...'' Luna spoke up, quietly, not to make Traveler afraid of her request. ''... want to go back to your dreams?''

''I don-''

''But THIS time... no more memories. Just your Dream World, where everything happens and WILL happen, as YOU want!'' Luna quickly interrupted him, before he can say 'no'. She wanted to fix her mistake, since she didn't interrupted his memories. She felt guilty for that, but it was only for background information. It was necessary... to help him...

''Everything happens... as I want...'' Traveler repeated her words, considering the promising deal.

After a few minutes of silence and before Pyromancer could say: ''3 hours later...'' Traveler nodded.

''To the Dream World we go then!'' Declared the Alicorn Princess and charged up her spell. Traveler took one last breath and closed his eyes. He didn't know what a normal person do before falling asleep, but he guessed it was about relaxing and such...

As Luna's horn started to get closer to Traveler's forehead, Pyromancer quickly charged at Traveler. ''No way in Equestria you will leave me out from this!''

And just as the spell transported Luna into Traveler's mind, Pyromancer touched Luna's cutie mark and his consciousness disappeared too...

In Ponyville, the girls were organizing their search team, splitting up to three groups. Celestia knew Twilight all too well and expected her student, to chose her as a partner. The Sun Princess even found the unicorn's choice useful, since Twilight could explain a lot of things about the recent events.

Since Rainbow Dash flew off, searching after Pyromancer and probably wanting to beat him up, Celestia took her part, to search from the skies. Twilight was too shocked by what Celestia made her to do. Being a big Alicorn, Celestia wanted Twilight to sit on her back, while they soar through the clouds. Needles to say, she fainted and the Alicorn Princess levitated the student on top of her back.

Spike was unsure about the whole thing, but as he pulled up his hood, he immediately agreed to ride on the Princess' back. This made her take a note to self: ''Examine those clothes, for any magical energy...''

And so, Celestia and on her back with two of her friends, started the search. Up in the sky, her sun shining down to Equestria and she herself, enjoyed the flight. Traveler Spike enjoyed way too much, as he only thought about the epicness.

He already ride on an Alicorn Princess and now one of the Ruler of Equestria gave him the chance, to feel awesome again...

Pyromancer only felt the Night Princess' soft fur for a moment and before he could savor the calm feeling, he found himself in a field. It was night time and the moon illuminated the lone area. Even in dark, the moonlight was enough to make everything visible. Every haulm on the field, every line on the trees and the details of the leaves... everything was clear.

In the distance, the mountains peeked out from behind the forests and in the far away part of this new world, a big ocean. The moon's reflection was clear and it looked like the big, white orb duplicated itself. A gentle breeze blew through the stallion's fur, sending small shivers down his spine. Even if he was hot head, sometimes literally, the whole scenery was so relaxing...

''ARE THO MAD?! BRINGING A BEAST LIKE HIM TO HELP US?!''

A loud, booming voice disturbed the peace of the moment and the flame maned pegasus tuned around. He spotted a frowning Princess and a Traveler, who probably suffered ear drum damage...

''And is this measure correct?''

''Uhm... yes. I kinda unsure about why you asked me about his size... if, you don't mind me saying this...''

Rarity and Fluttershy was outside Ponyville, visiting familiar places. The two decided to check out some known part of the outskirts of Ponyville, hopefully finding Traveler and the Princess. Rarity took the timid pegasus by surprise, when she asked about Sprint's measure...

''Oh, darling! I'm just simply curious. And I wanted to make him a fancy outfit for the next gala.'' Said the fashionista, eyes glimmering at the thought of a well dressed Sprint.

''O-okay.'' Fluttershy was still unsure about her friend's question.

''But I will probably have to measure him by myself. Not to offend you Fluttershy, but your calculations can be inaccurate. You just groomed him a long time ago, so...'' Rarity trailed off, giving a sheepish smile.

''Oh, don't say that Rarity! I'm not sure either if that's his actual size...'' Reassured Fluttershy, smiling at her friend.

Rarity's eyes literally sparkled for a moment, when she got an idea. ''Tell me darling... what was it like? I mean, grooming him?''

''Oh, just the usual. First I...''

And the yellow pegasus told Rarity, how she took care of Sprint. The unicorn listened in interest, trying to remember every detail about the fine horse. Little did the pegasus know, that Rarity only asked this, because she had other plans with these informations...

''... Sorry?'' Traveler regained himself from the loud voice, checking if his ears were bleeding.

''SORRY?! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH DANGER YOU BROUGHT TO EQUESTRIA!'' The Royal Canterlot Voice assaulted his ears again, as Luna continued yelling.

''I SAW EVERYTHING TRAVELER! I KNOW WHO HE WAS AND I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU CHOSE HIM TO HELP US!''

''BE GRATEFUL THAT HE HELPED YOU OUT!'' Traveler shouted back, covering his ears.

''HE COULD HAVE KILLED US ALL!''

''BUT NOT THAT PART OF HIM!''

''What?''

To Traveler's luck, Luna stopped yelling and he opened his eyes to see the Princess, looking confused by his words. ''Finally!'' He let down his arms and turned fully towards her. ''Now, if you allow me to explain...''

''HIS OTHER PART IS EVEN WORSE!''

''AHH! MY EARS!''

''AHHHAHHAAAHHHHAAAAA!'' Pyromancer laughed, as he watched the amusing scene between Luna and Traveler.

He thought that place couldn't be more better. But soon, the awesome scenery got amusing and he had everything he wanted in a world... ''Awesome place, big area, sexy lady and amusement? If this is the end of my life, then I would die happily...''

He realized his words and couldn't miss the chance. ''DED!'' And he dropped to ground, tongue lolling out from his mouth and remained motionless. But in his mind, he was laughing and not just at his own act. He continued listening at the two supernatural being, as one of them yelled the head off from the other one...

Applejack hoped for a better day. No, she wasn't an EMO! She just wanted that day to get better...

Pinkie Pie showed the white of her teeth, when she started being Pinkie Pie... as always...
The illogical and ridiculous things she did, started to drive the farm mare crazy. How in Equestria was she able to survive the pink, walking energy drink. You know, that kind of drink which makes you go overboard and literally kicks you out of sleep. And in Pinkie's situation, she was two or three times hyper, as that drink...

First, the farm mare woke up the whole family, because she couldn't forget about Sprint. She had to miss breakfast, to change sheets to her bed...
Then her apples got violated, by two hothead pegasus and got tied together with them.
She had to spend a few hours, to wait until a strange pegasus reveals the real Pinkie Pie.
Nearly got a heart attack, when the clone Pinkie Pies reached Sweet Apple Acres.
The Lunar Princess disappeared and Celestia needs her help, totally ruining her schedule...

And now... she has to listen to Pinkie's randomness...

... and singing too...

''Hey, I just met you
And this is crazy!
Well here's my address
So come here baby!''

''Uh...Sugarcube-''

''CORNER! You want to go to Sugarcube Corner?! Are you 'Hung-ary'? Why didn't you say so, I brought some cupcakes!''

''Pinkie...''

''Oh don't get me wrong. I'm not gonna bake you, even if we're in the Everfree Forest. Nopony can see us, yes, but the author has plans with you.''

''Pinkie.''

''You see, he has this plan with you and-''

''PINKIE!''

''Yes?''

Applejack tiredly pointed her hoof up at the sky, where a rainbow maned pegasus was flying. Rainbow Dash, she didn't see them and Applejack tried to shout up for her. But Pinkie already took care of that...

''Let me do it, AJ. You'll need your voice soon...'' Pinkie cleared her throat and did the unexpected...

''FUS RO DAH!''

Applejack jumped by the sudden shout. A phoenix fell down from the tree, its eyes wide and blinked several times, trying to process what just happened...
Pinkie's bla-bla language actually worked, as Rainbow noticed them and glided down.

''There you are guys! I was searching for yo-'' Rainbow started, but Pinkie cut in.

''We're girls, not guys...''

Applejack and Rainbow Dash gave her a blank expression, getting tired of her games...

''Okay... GIRLS... I was looking for you. What happened?''

''We split up, s' we can search fo' the Princess and Sprint much easier.'' Explained Applejack, rubbing her eyes to wake up.

''You mean Traveler, right?'' Raised an eyebrow Rainbow Dash.

''Of course, who do ya thin' Ah'm talkin' bout?'' Applejack asked, remaining oblivious to her own words.

''You said Sprint...'' Deadpanned Dash, giving her a knowing grin.

''Ah didn't! A-Ah said Spirit!'' Failed Applejack to lie...

Pinkie placed a hoof on the earth pony's shoulder and smiled. ''Come on Applejack! You don't have to hide your feelings and I know what happened to you this morning...'' The pink mare winked at her friend, making her blush and her eyes to widen. ''Just like you Dashie!''

Rainbow stopped snickering at the new color of Applejack's face and looked confused. ''What do you mean?''

''Oh nothing. I just heard from the birds, that Sprint winked at you from time to time and your cheeks got that cute blush like AJ's here...'' Pinkie explained, voice dripping from innocence.

''He did what?!'' Applejack asked, a bit too forcefully.

''And Dashie woke up next to Sprint, Traveler and Hunter at one time...'' Pinkie added, definitely making the farm mare red from rage.

''How do you know that?! Nopony was around... Fluttershy...'' The pegasus growled in annoyance.

''I got my sources...'' Pinkie started trotting forward, where they were originally headed. She did her part, just as she had to and started humming her song again, while listening to the two behind her. An evil grin formed on her lips, as the argument between Rainbow and Applejack got louder and louder and even more awkward.

Sprint will have to deal with TWO mare in the future, racing for him...

Pyromancer was still lying on the ground, thought his eyes were open now. He watched Traveler and mostly Luna, as they slowly calmed down and soon stopped shouting. Silence lingered in the cool air, calming down everyone in the area. Traveler was the one who broke this silence...

''So... I think some explanation will be needed.''

Luna sighed, fully calming down. ''Indeed...''

Traveler nodded and started. ''I have to clarify this first. Equestria was not in danger! I'm sure you saw that man, named Dhuradhan, talking to himself... correct?'' Luna nodded and he continued. ''That was his Dark self, but that part of him is named Dhanthas, which means 'Dark' in the Ancient Elder's language.''

''But! He sent his Light self, Dhuradhan for help, which means 'Light'. I don't know how, but somehow he can separate himself from his selves. And that part of him is nothing like that one, who you saw in my past. So again, yelling at me was unnecessary and threatening.''

Luna nodded in understatement and smiled sheepishly. ''Oh, I apologize. But you have to understand my outburst. We have to keep our subjects safe and what I saw in your memories was definitely not peaceful...''

''I understand... but next time, think before you decide to destroy my ears...'' Traveler rubbed his ears, still hearing that ringing sound. ''So... anything else?''

Luna thought about a question, but there were so many. So, she decided to put all of her questions, into one big.

''What was that all about?''

Traveler's slightly changed. He just started to enjoy the conversation and this new place, but he still had to explain a really big thing. Sighing, he looked towards the ocean and he started walking that way. ''Walk with me.''

Luna followed him and Pyromancer picked himself up from the comfortable grass, following and listening to Traveler's words. He missed a lot, since he had no idea what they were talking about.

Somewhere high in the sky, Twilight woke up on Celestia's back. At first, she didn't know where she was, or why was her bed feels so alive. Then she felt the wind blowing against her and saw Spike, sitting in front of her. He looked like he was doing his roleplay games, since he looked really entertained by his ride...

''Wait, ride?''

Twilight looked up, gasping and panicking. Celestia glanced back and smiled at her student. ''Hello Twilight! I see you're awe-''

Twilight fainted again...

Celestia sighed. ''Spike, please don't lean to the sides. What if the wind changes and you lose your grip?''

''I'm fine Princess, but if you insist...''

And they continued flying, Twilight passed out, Spike holding onto Celestia's neck and her majesty scanning the trees below...

Pyromancer caught up with the two, strong being. Just in time, when Traveler started his tale...

''It all started with him... Balance got out of control, due to his life's dark times. He never explained what happened, but he was actually kind, thoughtful and careful... But he changed... and the Light Elders didn't like it...''

''They took away his cross, locking away his powers inside it and gave it to Floya'. She was considered as a half Avatar and you can say... she was Balance's sister, but he has no sister in his bloodline. I still don't know why was she connected to him... But they gave HER the Avatar's powers. And why her? Because of the connection... only the Avatar can use the Balance's powers...''

''Balance suffered... While he had his powers, he was bitten by a vampire, while he was having sex with her.''

Pyromancer forced back his laughter. ''Well that's just kinky...''

Traveler continued.
''He was hungry for blood and thanks to his Dark energy, it turned into cannibalism, but he had control over this hunger...''

''Cannibalism?'' Asked Luna, looking confused.

''Cannibalism: When you eat your own kind.
So imagine him'' Traveler pointed at Pyromancer. ''killing you, then eating your meat. That is cannibalism...''

''I WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO THE ANGEL OF THE NIGHT!'' The pegasus' mane and tail lit up for a second, then he bowed to the Princess. Luna appreciated his words and gesture, so nodding back at him, she continued listening to Traveler. Meanwhile, Pyromancer's eyes sparkled, as his wings erected a bit. ''First move: success.'' He whispered to himself, confidence filling his mind.

''He half fought and half let his hunger getting the better out of him. Since he had no powers, he couldn't hold back himself. And without powers, finishing his prey and leaving the body unnoticed was impossible. He spent months, living in forests and eating animals, trying to satisfy his hunger...''

''While he was having these problems, Floya' got the cross and obtained all of Balance's work. The strenght of many Shadows, Traitor Angels, smaller Spirits and a demigods speed, named Daredevil. He consumed all of these souls' powers into his cross and Floya' just obtained it like a present.''

''Knowing that, obtaining that huge amount of power under one day, The Light watched every move of hers. Surprisingly, she remained kind and caring. She still helped the Lost Souls and-''

''What are these... Lost Souls?'' Asked Luna, interrupting him.

''When you die, you can go to two place. The Light, or as most know it... Heaven... or you can go to Hell. Your soul decides where you go and you WILL accept your fate, wherever you end up.''

''And what is this Hell? I heard you mentioning it, just like that Dhuradhan... or Balance... I don't know how to call him...'' Luna asked, as they reached a forests entrance and they continued their way inside the woods.

''Hell: Where every sinner ends up. If you lived your life clearly, you end up in The Light... but if you committed one serious sin, you go to Hell.
Hell has more places than The Light...
If you died as a greedy thief, you end up in Hell's middle level. There, they hold you captive and torture you with golden tools. So pretty much... you wanted gold, jewelry and treasure? It's alright, since they will give you that in a painful way...''

''If you lived your life as a killer and have a connection with blood, they throw you into The Blood River. From there, there is a cliff, where the river ends and the blood falls down. You will fall for ages, before you fall into The Sinners Lake. From that moment, you will be drowning for eternity in the blood, along with the other murders...''

''If you committed suicide, you end up in the Black Woods. They hang you up on a tree and you will watch your loved ones, suffering because of you. For eternity, you will watch them crying and suffering and all because of you, ending your life and leaving them behind. And while this happens, the trees slowly surrounds you and turns you into a tree too.''

''Traitors, cowards and liars. They will be freezing at the bottom of Hell, in the Scaly Mountains. The ice go through their hearts and they can't do anything, just feel the pain... the same pain, like those felt, when these Traitors betrayed them...''

''Anger... those who hurt others for their own amusement and made other souls' life miserable. Or they were too aggressive towards others... they end up at one of the highest points of Hell. There are a lot of vulcans, where these enraged souls will burn forever. Fire raining and everything is burning. Ironic punishment...''

''Those, whose minds were clouded with lust and desire, they go to a big tower. There, they can find their desire, but as soon as they want to satisfy their hunger for sex, they will feel pain and ecstasy. The opposite gender lashes out with whips and holds them under pressure and terror. They want to do it more and more, but at the same time, they don't enjoy it.''

''... I can't picture sex to be painful... only with whips...'' Mused Pyromancer, trying to imagine the big sex tower... he had a really dirty image about the form of that tower...

''And there is the Limbo. The souls, who never committed any of the more serious sins, but lived their life bad... they will be preys... They have to hide and run, trying to survive in a dead wasteland. If they die, they have to continue running from somewhere else. Over and over again, they have to survive. Insanity will take over their minds and fear will keep them go and continue the never ending cycle.
... The same thing I do now, running away...''

There was a short moment, when no one spoke a word. Luna was visibly thinking and Pyromancer took his chance to say something. ''Organized hell? Or this hell hole is organized?''

''So wait... the mountains were deep in Hell?'' Asked Luna, finding his description illogical...

Pyromancer forced back his laughter, forgiving her quickly, for interrupting him. The Alicorns choice of words were amusing... but he pretty much found everything amusing... ''Deep in hell...'' He commented quietly and listened to Traveler.

''Yes. The whole place looks like one dimension, but everything is at a different place. So, the water can flow upwards and mountains can emerge from the underground.''

''Screw gravity...'' Pyromancer was thinking about floating in the air... and before he know, he was really floating. He was about to freak out, when he realized what kind of world he was in... ''Dream world... Hmm... Ah, later...'' He came up with a really pleasing idea, about what to do with his new revelation. But he wanted to hear Traveler and finally get to know what happened...

''And the highest place of Hell... is The Throne. That's where the Ruler of the Hell is and controls his domain. He can see everything from there and can inspect the Mortal's life...''

''And who is this ruler?'' Luna asked, seeing the end of the forest ahead. It wasn't a big forest and listening to Traveler just made the time fly faster.

''His name is Reaper... but the previous one was Lucifer.'' Traveler answered, scowling.

Luna noticed this and looked at him concerned. ''What about him?''

They reached the end of the forest and stepped out from the woods... of course, Pyromancer floated out...
They found themselves in a beach, looking over the great ocean. The sand was snow white and the moonlight turned it blue. The water's calm sounds as it hit the shore, helped Traveler to calm down and after sighing, he gave Luna the answer...

''I'll tell you about him later, but I for now... let's just say, he is responsible for ruining Floya' 's world...''

Luna agreed and silence filled the air. Only the sound of waves could be heard in the night...

Twilight groaned, when she woke up again. The uncomfortable position she was in hurt her back and the loud wind in her hair-

''Twilight, before you faint again, please calm down!'' Spike called back, still holding onto the Alicorn's neck.

Twilight was about to sigh to calm down, but then she realized how high she was. Yelping, she held onto her ride's sides, not daring to look down. She flew in a balloon and a carriage too, but they were much safer than a big ponies back. No hoofrails, stable floor and normal seats. Just a flying ponies back, with no things to grab.

''Now Twilight, you don't have to be afraid!'' Started Celestia, slowing down for her student, to feel safer... And of course, ruining Spike's epic moment, to sail through the skies at high speed...

Twilight loosened her grip on Celestia's sides and slowly sat up, back hooves dangling in the air. She felt much safer at this speed, since the wind wasn't against her.

''Twilight.'' Spoke up Celestia. ''Can you tell me, why is Traveler hiding from you and the others? Or why wasn't he with you on the train back to Ponyville?''

Twilight gulped. She knew why and it was her fault. Images of a disappointed Celestia from that vision, back at The Crystal Empire, went through her head and terrified her. In a way, she forgot about the Magic of Friendship, since she didn't forgive Traveler. Also, she didn't appreciate his help and made him feel bad.

All the girls considered Traveler as a friend by now and she just hurt that friend. Even Rainbow forgave him, when she is one stubborn mare! But Twilight? She was thoughtful and can think rationally. But what Traveler did made her lose her control. She forgot to think about the good things about his horrible act. Yes, he was a horrible Spirit for doing that, but he did it for the sake of Equestria!

''Twilight...'' Celestia's kind voice snapped the unicorn out from her thoughts. ''You can tell me anything, my faithful student. I can just feel it... something is bothering you. So please, I have to know what happened.''

Spike listened to the two, waiting for Twilight to finally confess. He knew what happened, but he wanted to make sure, that Twilight will tell her everything.

''I... we...'' The purple unicorn found no words. She was too afraid to disappoint the Princess. It was her nightmare! ''We... got into an... argument...''

''And...?'' Asked back Celestia, patiently waiting for her student, while scanning the trees below.

''I made him... angry... and... well...''

''Agh, for the sake of Equestria! Twilight, if you can't tell her, then I tell her!'' Groaned Spike, having enough of Twilight's stammering.

''N-no!'' Twilight cried out, raising a hoof to stop her assistant. But she lost her balance and slipped down from Celestia's back. Screaming, she wildly attempted to grab something. Celestia quickly dove down, catching her with her magic.

Twilight panted, as she was placed back onto the Alicorn's back. Spike felt bad for nearly sending her to a death fall, but he really enjoyed what the Princess has done to save her. He was surprised to see The Sun Princess, doing such a dive. So quickly, like she foresaw the accident.

He had to learn this! He knew Traveler can do such things, so he made sure to remember to ask him about this...

''My faithful student-'' Celestia started, but Twilight interrupted.

''SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY!'' Twilight repeated, apologizing repeatedly. ''IT WAS MY FAULT! I'M SORRY PRINCESS-''

''Twilight.'' Twilight silenced herself and hung her head. Celestia spoke up, simply and suggestively. One would say, she just said her name, but both Spike and Twilight knew that the Princess wants them to calm down and stay quiet. ''Please Twilight... tell me...''

She pleaded her. The PRINCESS pleaded her! It wasn't just a question or an order. No, her mentor pleaded her.

Twilight couldn't take that and spoke up...

''Yes, Princess Celestia...''

''As I said, Floya' still helped the Lost Souls. These Lost Souls are those, who are not satisfied and will never accept their faith. They're clinging to the living life, but they can only move as a soul. You call them ghosts, but they're actually souls, who are lost in existence.''

Traveler continued, while he was sitting next to Luna. The two sat down on the sand, close to the water. It definitely helped him to calm down, since he was amongst friendly faces.

... or... at least one friendly face and a hovering stupid face. Pyromancer just didn't care about his explanation and tried to pick up the two's attention, by making faces... ''Seriously... these names are worse than most ponies' name! 'Lost Souls, that's their name, because they're lost in existence.' Well you don't bucking say! Jeez...'' Were all the pegasus' thoughts about the subject and he gave up trying...

''The Elder's were just started to pay less attention towards her, ''

''And you two towards me...'' Commented Pyromancer and hovered away from their line of sight.

''when she started doing researches for Dark magic. This immediately brought the Elder's back to watch her again. They thought, the Dark powers will get on her mind and take control over her body...''

''Her research extended her knowledge in additional abilities. And soon, she created a new world. It wasn't done yet, but she only needed a place to lead the Lost Souls. And that's where her Dark magic research stepped in...
She placed a barrier around her world, using all of her Dark energy. This barrier prevented Lucifer, to track down the Avatar and locked away the souls to Hell. And since the Lost Souls were no longer had to choose between Hell or The Light, they became Pure Souls...''

Pyromancer snorted, already knowing what will they be...

Luna visibly wanted to ask, but Traveler quickly continued. ''Pure Souls are those ones, who lived their life peacefully, always doing the good thing. There are different kind of Pure Souls...''

''Angels are protectors, healers or simple Angels.
The Guardian Angels are protecting the Light, eliminating any intruder. Also, they are stationed amongst the mortals and in The City of Light. They send reports to the Elders, about what is happening in the mortal life, in the Pure Souls' life and if there is any disturbance at their area. You know, Hell can attack every time...
Holy Angels are recently appeared, since the war between Hell and Light left a lot of injured Guardian. Most of the time, Holy Angels are females, because they are more tender and caring.
And the simply Angels, are those ones, who helps the newcomers in The Light. They have to show the newly arrived souls the whole system, tell them what will they have to do, about the history and of course, show them how they died.''

''The Elders. They control The Light and they get to know the news first hand: About the arrival of a new Pure Soul, the reports from the Guardians and they are the only ones, who knows where are the relics and important prisoners. They are also the ones, who keeps contact with other worlds too. They want to know, which world is corrupted by Hell and which world is friendly.
Diplomacy is strong in The Light, but it wasn't like that before...''

''It wasn't?'' Luna was surprised to hear that. She assumed it was a perfect place, with crystal clear minds and life.

''You remember what Balance said? The Elders were planning something and he didn't like it. Well, he took care of that problem and a new leader stepped to the previous one's place. He was the one, who chose that leader, since he found his mentality clear, his thinking rational and his words wise... just like that new leader's father.'' Explained the Spirit, this time, happy to relive his memory. The last time he did that, he saw his suffering and a bad reminder...

''And the previous one is...''

''He's ded, he's ded, he's sooooo ded~!'' Sang Pyromancer, landing next to (of course) Luna.

''I should have know...'' Mumbled Luna, when Traveler nodded in agreement.

''It turned out, the previous leader used Balance, to get Lucifer's power and take control over Hell. But that would ruin the Balance and if sinner souls gets to The Light, then they will corrupt the Pure Souls and everything will be ruined. It's like a virus...
So, after killing Lucifer and consuming his powers, instead of giving it to the leader, who was Luceta' , he fought against him. Since Luceta' was better with spells, Balance defeated him with hand to hand combat. That fool walked into his trap, when he accepted the challenge. He defeated him and took away HIS powers too!''

''But Lucifer's and Luceta' 's souls remained inside him. The two tried to take over Balance's mind and body, but that stubborn guy didn't let them. And... that was the third time he killed himself. Using The Scythe, he stabbed himself, right through his body. The ruler's and leader's souls vanished from existence and Balance's soul supposed to do the same... and again, the Light saved him...''

''What is this scythe? Why is it so important?'' Luna quickly asked, curious about the deadly weapon's role in that universe.

''I'll tell you later, but now... I have a more important thing to explain...'' Traveler told her, shaking his head, as he thought about that 'dead-bringer' tool.
''He had two choice... rule Hell or lead The Light. He choose none of them and instead, he made The Grim Reaper as the Ruler of the Hell and decided to give all of Luceta' 's power, to the son of the previous leader. But before that, Balance made sure to remake the Purgatory, so those who stuck in the Limbo, can get back to life. Of course, they won't be the same...
He also made sure, to place Elders next to the young leader...
The boy's name was Theilesathe' and his wise father was Thelestial The Great.
Balance trusted in Theilesathe' , since his father was Balance's mentor. Back then, he considered him as a half father and always asked him for advice. Thelestial was more than happy, to tell his thoughtful advices and really cared about everyone's happiness. He wasn't just wise, but funny too! I even had the chance to enjoy a meeting in a small tavern.''

''Really? Wasn't that too dangerous to do, while a war was going on?'' Luna found this brave move foolish, considering the situation back then...

''Ohohhooo, no!'' Laughed out loud Traveler, wiping a tear away from his eye. ''Definitely not. You see, he was in incognito and besides... who was that stupid, to attack The Great Light. He created The Light and everyone knew that: If he dies, then everything will be in chaos. Even Lucifer knew better than attempting a fight with that old man. Instead, the Ruler of the Hell and The Great Light... drank together... hehhee... I'll never forget that moment, it was not an everyday sight.'' Laughed again Traveler, forcing back his tears.

''So... what happened to him?'' Luna asked, curious about why they changed leader. She already had a good guess, but she wasn't sure, if the Avatar actually killed him. Traveler told her, Balance considered him as a half father!

But she remembered that reflection at that lake, when she was in Traveler's memory. The Avatar's family looked sad and Luna was afraid to think about what that beast has done...

Traveler wiped away another tear. The old man was a really kind soul and he really helped Traveler in his past. ''He was too old to hold up The Light. His power weakened by the days and the war was raging outside. If he would have continued any longer, Lucifer could have easily take over The Light and soon, take over the other worlds. Imagine him, running around Ponyville or Canterlot...''

The mere thought of that terrifying being, running around Equestria and making ponies suffer... Luna shivered. ''I don't want to see him again...''

''Again?'' Looked at her Traveler, kinda shocked to hear that.

''In your memory, Balance looked into the water and some kind of black and big creature was laughing at him. By just looking at him made me feel uncertain about my own safety...'' Explained Luna, while Pyromancer thought about comforting her, by pulling her close... but he didn't dare to do something inappropriate.

''Hmm... Balance never told me how he looked like. He only said: Like an EMO knight, who got dropped on his head, when his mother shit him out...
So, due to his enraged description, I don't know if you really saw him, or not.''

Luna hummed in understatement, then realizing that she still doesn't know why he killed Floya', she spoke up. ''You still haven't told me what was that thing with Floya'.''

At her reminder, Traveler's smile disappeared and a hurt expression appeared on his face. He was so wrapped up in his good memories, that he completely forgot about the hard part of this explaining. He would even talk about Balance, or Lucifer, just not about what he did!

He pondered about where he left off and after sighing, he continued. He knew he can do it, it was just talking after all. It can't hurt that much... right...?

''Traveler murdered Kind Sombra and I didn't thank him for helping us. I... I called him a monster and he left angrily. About why he is hiding? Well, Pinkie Pie cloned herself and for some reason, he is afraid of her. Pinkie's attitude is... well... random. And that's why he's not comfortable around her. And what she did probably made him terrified...''

Twilight explained, finally relaxed. Though she winced, when she mentioned what she called Traveler, Celestia kept staring down and continued flying.

''And what has he done, to make you angry Twilight?'' Asked back Celestia, slightly uncertain about what made Twilight THAT angry, to call him a monster.

''Uhm... he murdered Sombra, your majesty. That's why.'' Twilight looked confused, by her mentor's question. She just explained why was she angry and the Princess re-asks her question?

''And he murdered hundreds of Followers in front of all of you. You should have obviously expected him to do the same thing with Sombra.'' Told her Celestia and Twilight was shocked for a moment. Celestia knew what he was going to do and she let him?!

''Princess! He killed him! And you knew all the time what he was going to do?!'' Twilight cried out and Spike looked back at her, surprised by her outburst.

''Indeed, Twilight...'' Celestia answered, calmly and this shocked Twilight even more.

''But it wasn't necessary!''

''I'm sure Traveler had a good reason to do that.''

''And what kind of reasons he had to torture him?!''

Celestia looked back at Twilight, her face actually showing her shock. ''He did what?''

Twilight frowned and continued yelling. ''Sombra was already defeated and he had no more power! But Traveler still killed him and he ENJOYED IT! And when he came back to the Crystal Empire, his clothes were red from blood! I even saw some on his mouth! HIS MOUTH! Then at the throne room, he showed us Sombra's pelt and hold it out like it was some sort of toy! A PONY'S PELT!''

While Twilight took some deep breath, calming herself down, Celestia turned her head back towards the forest. Considering her words and sighing once, she spoke up again, her voice calmed and caring.
''Twilight, you must understand him. He is not a pony and I don't have any control over him. And I know for a fact, that he had to finish Sombra. I knew he would return again and that's why I sent Traveler there too.''

''But I agree with you... he shouldn't had to make him suffer. But he is a Spirit and it must be something about what he is... I have no knowledge about Spirits, but my sister has. I just hope she actually wants to get to know him better, or I can't ask anything from her. For some reason, she enjoys his company and really interested in his tales...''

''So Twilight... for the first time... I can't decide if he did the right or the bad thing. Yes, he finished him, but Equestria will be safe, thanks to him! He may made use of Sombra and it is unforgivable, but what if it's part of being a Spirit? Again, I know nothing about his culture, since Discord was the only Spirit we knew... and he wasn't the kindest one...
And now... here's Traveler. His intention is right, but how he wants to fulfill his tasks are bad. I know this and he knows that too. But sometimes, we have to do something that hurts the other one, so we can help to do the right thing for somepony else...''

''And sometimes... this 'right' thing is only right for us... but it's not right for others. This never ending cycle is life Twilight and most ponies can't see it...''

Spike nodded in agreement, fully understanding the Sun Princess. But Twilight... she was deep in thoughts...
A new Celestia revealed herself and it was nothing like the purple unicorn saw before. She saw Celestia angry, calmed, thoughtful, amused, unamused, panicked and serious. It was a wise Celestia, who thought rationally.

Twilight found her words true and acceptable. She was glad to hear her mentor, agreeing with her and giving her advice. The student's head finally cleared out, since she couldn't place Traveler anywhere. But thanks to her majesty, Twilight finally found where to place him in her mind and heart...

''Thank you Princess... I understand now...'' Twilight nodded and smiled up at the sky.

It was around the middle of the afternoon. A few clouds were only visible and the wind was bearable for the student. She let the cool breeze relax her muscles and breathed in the fresh air, like she was locked inside a basement. In a way, she was locked inside, but only in her mind.

Finally... a great trouble was lifted down from her shoulders...

''After the Lost Souls became Pure Souls, she did something unacceptable... at least, by the Laws of Life. This law is about not bringing the death back to life. If a mortal dies, then life is not possible for them. Of course, there are special occasions... This happened to Balance actually. The Light brought him back to life, because he was the Avatar and The Light needed help. The Great Mother, wife of Thelestial and probably the first Pure Soul, descended down to Hell's entrance and pulled Balance back from his death. From that moment, his whole life changed and he became the Avatar...''

''This was that special occasion, when The Light broke the rules. And Floya' just brought each and every Pure Soul back to mortals and let them live again. This, of course, required all of her Light powers... that's when I came into the whole plan...''

''While she had no power to do anything, she had to get back to her castle and rest. While she had no idea about me, the Elders let me through to her world. My objective was to get more information about her world, her powers, knowledge and actually... about her...''

''I acted and pretended to be friendly. Her caring personality quickly made me like her, but I always reminded myself about my true mission. I earned her thrust and she soon... fell into me. I used her and lied to her...''

''I waited for the right time, for the sign from outside her world. And while I did that, I let Floya' get closer to me. There was always that screaming in my head, that I shouldn't be doing this and just warn her about the Elders' plan. I saw the right behind her research, but it was too risky. Her dark magic was visibly out of control and the high energy sometimes made HER lose control...''

''And there was the Laws of Life too. She broke the rules and it was a really serious thing. Also, she swore to The Light, that she would never break any rules... but... she broke the most serious one...
So, these mistakes from hers, made me not return the feelings she shared...''

''I left that world one day and Luceta' 's Angels chased me. Hundreds of them tried and I killed most of them. But I was outnumbered and Captain Martin questioned my actions. I wasn't reporting to them and they thought I was against them. I wasn't on Floya' 's side, neither The Light's side. They just asked me to do it and promised me reward. Hehhe... Like I needed their reward after that...''

''They told me to find her cross and bring it out from her world... I did it... and her protection spell broke...
Lucifer immediately sensed the new Avatar and sent his Demons and Corruption to Floya' 's world. Since she had no other protection, only a weak security in the cities, the Shadows consumed her world. Demons and Shadows killed everything and every soul.''

''And I just watched... I watched as Hell teared in half that planet, then take every Light source from it's universe...
Then... when she was in front of me... I only saw a bad Avatar. A soul, who is not good anymore and Balance was the good one in my eyes...''

''... so... I just...''

Luna placed a comforting hoof on his shoulder, while he wiped away some tears. ''That's enough, I know what happened...''

Traveler sniffed back his tears, staying in silence for a while. Then he frowned and blinked away his remaining tears. ''I don't know what happened to me... I was never good with females.''

''And this is the part where I'm not interested anymore.'' Spoke up Pyromancer, stretching out. ''Bro... just drink something!'' The pegasus turned to Luna and gave her a serious expression... not his 'serious' expression one, no. It was a normal kind of seriousness, which surprised both Traveler and... Luna looked surprised because of Traveler was surprised...
''Don't let his cheap tricks get to you. He can get laid easily and so this is his plan with you too right now...''

The pegasus took off, flying alongside the shore. Below him, his reflection showed his smirk. He was good for now... He got the good first impression and warned the Princess. If he screw this up from now, he will go back to the Crystal Empire, spending his life alone. He found the mare of his life and he's on the right track... he CAN'T screw this up...

''THY NIGHT ANGEL SHALL BE MINE!'' He shouted and disappeared behind the sand dunes.

Luna raised an eyebrow and shook her head. ''These ponies sometimes...'' She muttered and turned back to Traveler, who was looking irritated. His cheeks wet from tears and he visible looked troubled...

''So... let's try this...''

Pyromancer was far away from Traveler and Luna... enough distance between them, so they won't hear him there. He positioned himself before the water and took a few deep breaths. Then, he spoke up...

''Listen to me dream world! Give me a Princess now, or I end you!'' His serious face ( >:| <---- This... ) returned. He waited for a moment, then...

... nothing...

''You see... Spirits are difficult and confusing. Most of the time, the female only wants to make sexual contact with the male and then they just leave each other. Like nothing happened!''

''It is pretty rare, when two Spirit finds love. And it is a long process too! So... Floya' was more than different... and that's what I liked about her...''

''Well, you did say she was kind of like Balance... and she was the Avatar too, so it is understandable why she was different.'' Luna told to Traveler, trying to help him sort out his feelings.

She wasn't the best pony to turn about love questions. But she DOES have a fair knowledge about this subject! And Traveler was her friend, so the least she could do is help as much as she could...

Suddenly, due to the Dream World's unique possibilities, Traveler's gear gave out several clicks. Before he spoke up, his cape slid down from him and his gauntlets loosened. ''She was...''

Traveler stood up and nearly all of his clothing slid down from him. He took two big steps, letting his boots come down from his feet, his long socks remaining in the boots. His gauntlets dropped to the sand, along with his coat and scarf. He pulled down his long-sleeved shirt and his armor fell down too. His trousers loosened and he took another two, big steps. Under his trousers were his shorts, Luna was thankful for that. He stepped out from his trousers and pulled down his shirt.

This was the first time, when Luna saw him exposed. Still, she wasn't surprised by his injuries. Though, she wasn't concerned about his physical health right now... ''SHE WAS MY FIRST LOVE AND I KILLED HER!'' Traveler shouted and Luna stood up, just as he started to walk deeper into the water.

''Traveler!'' She shouted after him, flying next to him to catch up.

''I just realized what I have done and it is worse than before!'' He continued shouting, walking deeper and deeper into the water. His steps sent the water all around him, as he stomped down onto the water's surface. ''I did not just kill an innocent soul! I did not just kill a friend! I KILLED MY FIRST LOVE!''

The water reached his waist and he started using his arms, to go through the water faster. This also sent even more water around him and Luna had to fly higher, so she won't get wet. She tried to calm the Spirit down, but it was useless...
''Traveler, calm down!''

''AND THANKS TO MY SOCIAL AWKWARDNESS, I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO LOVE ANYONE ELSE! FLOYA' WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO LOVED ME, BUT I WAS FUCKING BLIND TO SEE IT!''

''It's not your fault!'' Luna descended lower, seeing that Traveler had to start swimming and stopped splashing the water.

''And what I can do after that?! DESTROY HER WORLD! HOW LOWER CAN I GET?!''

''It was understandable, everypony gets angry from time to time!''

''Angry?! ANGRY?! That was a breaking point and I was FURIOUS! I'M REALLY GLAD THAT CAPTAIN AND LEADER DIED! Hope they burn in Hell!''

''Everything turned out well in the end, Traveler! Do not forget, you did it for a better future!''

Traveler stopped swimming and turned to Luna. ''I DON'T GIVE A SINGLE FUCK ABOUT A BETTER FUTURE! I should have been selfish, so me and F-Floya' could have gotten a-away and l-live our lives t-together-r and... a...'' Tears started to slide down from his eyes, slowly making Traveler's voice to crack. The new revelation and memory reliving not so long ago, overwhelmed the Spirit.

He hung his head and sniffed several times, failing to get himself back together. At that moment, he wanted nothing more, just letting his stress out...

Pyromancer waited and waited... and waited...

His serious face never changed, his body remained unmoved and his eyes were fixed on the sky. If he was patient, then the Dream World would probably grant his wish.

He felt the rhythmical shaking next to him and he turned to his right. He saw nopony there, but when he heard a sound from a bit lower...

A blue frog was staring at him and the worst thing was... it was DEFINITELY a female... a small crown on her head.

Pyromancer turned back to the night sky. ''Hehheee, yeah... Would you kindly buck yourself!'' He shouted out, pissed, because the whole world trolled him...

And the frog just stared at him lovingly...

Again, sorry for this whole thing with Hell and Light. I don't mean to humiliate or do any kind of unforgivable things with religions. If you don't like this universe, because of the religion thing, then my only defense is: ''It's just a fiction. I'm not spreading this point of view around, declaring it to be the truth!''
Another sorry for mentioning my other characters. They will be mentioned again and I will mention Traveler in the sequel of 'Dhuradhan in Equestria: Book Two'. I think that makes up for good actually...

This is the first part of the 'Dream World' chapters and there will be more. As I said, explanation is the main thing in these, while the big plot twist blooms out from this whole happening. After that twist, I'll probably leave behind the things about the universe, The Avatar etc. and continue the story, without you knowing nothing what's happening!

I said I will cut this first chapter to two pieces, but I just couldn't find a good place to cut it. So, here's an 8K words chapter.
