Godzilla x Kong: Guardians of Equestria

Capper slides the box covering the hole out of the way and climbs out before helping the others out. As everyone stops to catch their breath they look around to find themselves back above ground in Canterlot's main plaza.

"That was close now wasn't it?" asked Capper.

"You really saved our flanks darling thank you," said Rarity.

"It's not just me you should be thanking," said Capper. Everyone looked at him with confusion when a familiar blue mare appeared before them.

"Trixie!?" Starlight gasped.

"I should've know, that smoke must've been your smoke bombs," said Twilight.

"Indeed and a fine performance on my part if I do say so myself!" she boasted.

"But how did you find us?" asked Spike.

"Oh excuse for being nosy but we followed you," said Capper. "By the way who's the new crew?" Twilight and her friends quickly took the time to introduce the members of Monarch's Task Force to Trixie and Capper.

"Well it's an honor to truly meet the friends of these ponies here," said Capper taking a bow.

"Um introductions are nice, but shouldn't we hurry to the princesses?" asked Sunburst. "It's important that we notify them of what we've found,"

"Right we should get to it, let's go girls," Twilight said. But before anyone could go anywhere, the ground beneath them began to shake.

"What the hay!?" Rainbow Dash yelped. As the shaking intensified, the ground in the central plaza erupted as a massive creature emerged from the hole roaring and causing the nearby ponies to run away screaming in terror. As the creature crawled out of the hole,the group was able to get a good look at the monster. The monster had resembled a turtle or armadillo with large golden spikes protruding from it's back. It had several horns on top of it's head and one small horn on it's nose, it's eyes reddish-orange eyes burned with hatred as it stomped around, attempting to crush anything that got in it's path.

"It's the Armored Killer," Bernie stuttered as he stepped back.

"Anguirus," Ilene said looking up at the titan. Jia stepped towards the titan as Ilene tried to pull her back. "What are you doing?"

"It looks like it's in pain," Jia responded in sign language. Ilene looks up at Anguirus as it roars and violently thrashes around, the spikes on it's back glowing a brilliant golden aura.

'We have to stop this thing before it destroys the entire city!" Sunburst.

"I would like to see you try," a voice snickered. The group looks over to see Tobias standing near the entrance of the secret passage, with a group of armed guards.

"Tobias!" Twilight stepped back as Fluttershy quickly hid behind Starlight.

"Hm, I'm glad you took it upon yourself to remember me," Tobias chuckled looking over at Twilight and her friends. "Now then if you wish to save your precious city, I would recommend you surrender without resistance," he snapped his fingers as the guards surrounded the group with their weapons drawn.

"Not so fast foul human!" Tobias looked over as Celestia,Luna, and the pillars rushed in.

"Princesses!" Twilight let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh goodie more fodder," Tobias snickered.

"Release them at once!" Luna ordered.

"And if I refuse?" he sneered.

"Then you will leave us no choice," Celestia and Luna approached Tobias with their horns glowing. But Tobias simply smirked as he produced a small mallet from his back pocket.

"No wait don't attack him!" Twilight tried to warn the two but it was too late, as Celestia and Luna attempted to blast Tobias, he simply raised Grogar's bell and hit it with the mallet as it began absorbing their magic. The two wailed in pain before collapsing to the ground as everyone watched in shock.

"NO!" Twilight rushed over to their side while Tobias laughed maniacally.

"Such fools, I expected better from two ponies who call themselves the rulers," Tobias snickered.

"You treacherous human," Starswirl growled. "Friends we mustn't let this one to escape," The rest of the pillars nodded as they surrounded him.

"Hm, am i really the one you should be worried about?" Tobias asked.

"What are you saying?" asked Somnambula. Tobias smirked and snapped his fingers as Anguirus let out a anguished roar before curling up into a ball and began rolling around destroying nearby buildings.

"If you wish to protect your city, i think you better do something about that one first," he sneered. Starswirl bit his lip, clearly conflicted about what he should do. "Having trouble deciding I see, of course you can make things easier for yourself by surrendering peacefully of course,"

"No Starswirl you mustn't," Celestia said.

"The same goes for you," Tobias said pointing his gun at Twilight and her friends. Twilight swallowed hard as she turned towards Ilene, Bernie, and Jia.

"You know Anguirus isn't going to wait," Tobias reminded.Starswirl looked over at the titan that was now wreaking havoc around Canterlot. "Well what's it going to be?"

"All right you win," Starswirl sighed in defeat. The other pillars looked over at him with shocked expressions.

"Wise choice old friend," he smirked and raised the bell before hitting it with the mallet, absorbing his magic. The other pillars rushed to his side as he collapsed. As they tried to comfort him, Tobias struck the bell again absorbing the rest of the pillars' magic. "Now then what will the rest of you do?" Tobias asked turning towards Twilight and her friends. As Twilight tried desperately to find a solution, Starlight stepped forward and puffed out her chest.

"You may have threatened the pillars into submission, but I'm afraid we're not the type to back down," said Starlight.

"Yeah what she said!" said Rainbow Dash.

"We've been through enough to stand up to villains like you," said Applejack.

"Well that's a shame," Tobias said shrugging. "I suppose we don't have much choice," he said as the guards aimed their weapons at the group. "Farewell fools," Just as Tobias was about to execute them, there was a loud screech behind them. As Tobias turned around, Anguirus was suddenly landed hard next to them. Tobias looked up to see Kong standing there holding up his battle axe.

"Whoa what in the?" Capper asked looking up at him

"Mr. Kong!" Fluttershy came out of hiding, clearly happy to see him.

"About time," said Bernie. As the ponies cheered, Tobias quickly used this opportunity and raised the bell at Twilight.

"You're wide open there friend," he smirked. Twilight quickly turned around and stepped back as Tobias raised the mallet.

"No!" Starlight quickly shoved Twilight as Tobias struck the bell absorbing her magic,"

"Starlight!" Trixie quickly rushed to her friends side as she collapsed.

"Aww what a cute little gesture, it's sad that the only thing you've done is delayed the inevitable for your friends," Tobias laughs. "Now then as for the rest of you," he held up the bell at Twilight and her friends, but just as he was about to ring it, Jia quickly rushed up and shielded them. "What are you doing you little brat, get out of my way," Tobias hissed. But Jia instinctively shook her head. "Of all the times you decide to interfere, you do it now?"

"I've seen enough, I can't keep watching," Jia replied in sign language.

"She said she can't stand seeing these ponies in so much pain, Tobias, you need to stop," said Ilene.

"You little interloper," Tobias growled. "Men!" The guards quickly turned their weapons on Jia. Seeing this Kong roared at Tobias in anger. "Oh shut up, why don't you play with someone your own size, you overgrown monkey," he snapped his fingers as Anguirus quickly rushed up and tackled Kong. Now with Kong distracted, Tobias turned his attention back towards the group. "Now with all interruptions gone, I'd say it's finally time to clean this up," he glares at Jia who was still standing in the way.

"Oh there's nothing we can do?" asked Fluttershy. Just as Tobias was about to pull the trigger on his gun, there was a sudden change in the atmosphere that caused everyone to look up.

"Oh what now?" Tobias grumbled in frustration. At that moment, something flew over their heads as a familiar voice rang out from it's loudspeaker.

"Calvary's here!" As the HEAV flew past them another massive monster suddenly appeared from behind, this one resembling a giant pterosaur.

'No way, is that?"asked Bernie.

"Titanus Rodan," confirmed Ilene.

"Shoot it down!" his men raises their weapons and begins firing as ordered but this only seemed to anger Rodan as he descended and began plucking one armed soldier after another. "Tch," as he watched his men helplessly fight the massive titan, Tobias quickly retreated back down into his underground facility, taking the bell with him. Noticing their boss had fled, the armed guards attempted to escape but to no avail.

"Hey kept you waiting eh?" Trapper chuckled as he stepped out of the HEAV to rejoin the group.

"Trapper you goddamn legend!" said Bernie.

"Sorry took so long, big guy just wouldn't cooperate," said Trapper.

"Well you showed up just in time," said Ilene. They all looked up just as Rodan finished off the remaining guards and Kong defeated Anguirus. Jia quickly rushes towards Anguirus's side and examines his condition. Anguirus looks down weakly at Jia with his reddish-orange eyes.

"I think he's sick," Jia said to Ilene as she caught up.

"What's up?" asked Trapper.

"Jia thinks Anguirus is sick," said Ilene. Trapper looks up at the defeated titan as he groans weakly.

"Yeah he doesn't sound good either," said Trapper. "I better take a look," he said. Everyone watched as he slowly approached Anguirus and held up a strange device. "Oh wow, this is terrible,"

"What is it?" asked Ilene.

"It's not like he's sick, more like he's corrupted," explained Trapper.

"By what?" asked Ilene.

"I'm not sure," answered Trapper. "I'm checking for any abnormalities and it looks like he's been injected with a black substance of sorts,"

"Wait what do you mean black substance.

"I don't know whatever it is his blood has been contaminated by it and he's become corrupted by the substance," explained Trapper. Everyone looks up at Anguirus as he moans weakly.

'Is there anything we can do?" asked Fluttershy.

"If we can somehow remove or rather cure him he should return to normal," said Trapper.

"He used to be an ally of Godzilla, it'd be nice if we could get his help in all this," said Ilene.

"Well Mage Meadowbrook is known to be a legendary healer," explained Fluttershy.

"Not a bad idea, with her expertise, I'm sure we'll be able to help Anguirus," Twilight.

"I can't guarantee anything, but I'll do what I can," she said.

"Thanks for your help Mage Meadowbrook," said Fluttershy.

"In the meantime, we need to go after Tobias, not only does he have everyone's magic,but also the answers to so many questions," said Ilene.

"He escaped to his underground hideout again,that jerk," said Rainbow Dash.

"Anybody without magic should stay here, it's far too risky to let them come with us,"suggested Ilene.

"Um is it alright if i stayed here with Mage Meadowbrook and Mr Anguirus?" asked Fluttershy. "I want to help them anyway I can,"

"I'll stay behind as well," said Trapper.

"I'll stay behind too, the Great and Powerful Trixie refuses to leave her friend's side!" Trixie beamed.

"Thanks Trixie," said Starlight.

"Anybody else?" asked Ilene. Everyone else shook their heads. "In that case let's head back down, Trapper you still have that radio, I'll contact you if anything happens," Trapper gave them a thumbs up as the rest of Twilight's friends and the Monarch Task Force began descending back underground after Tobias.
