My Little Hot Wheels Accelerating is Magic

The Jig is Up

As soon as the race started Rainbow Dash and Applejack were off like a flash, meanwhile Rarity and Fluttershy were going at a decent pace, and Twilight and Pinkie Pie were going at a snails pace with Twilight taking in the scenery. Pinkie Pie hopped next to Twilight to try to strike up a fun little conversation.

"So Twilight think you can win 5th place again or are you not even going to try this time?" Pinkie Pie said as she bounced merrily along the dirt trail.

"Pinkie last time I won because I paced myself and when everyone was worn out I used all my spare energy to run to the finish line, however it seems RD and AJ didn't learn their lesson so I might win 4th place this time." Twilight said as she was thinking of running ahead just to get away from Pinkie Pie so she could enjoy the scenery.

"Twilight tell me am I being annoying to you right now, and be honest?" It almost seemed as if Pinkie Pie had read Twilights mind as this question caught her off guard.

"Welllll Pinkie yes and no, I have a blast talking to you, but right now I'm kind of trying to enjoy the imagery around me, don't take it too hard." Twilight said hoping that she would not hurt Pinkie's feelings.

"It's no big deal Twilight I understand, Mr. and Mrs. Cake say when I talk nonstop I might get on some ponies nerves, they told me to watch how much I talk and try to control it so that's what I'm doing." Pinkie said as she walked along with Twilight and was also starting to enjoy the leaves falling all around her.

"I know Twilight how about we just enjoy the leaves and talk once the race is over, that way you can get some peace and quiet."

"That's a good idea Pinkie Pie, but I think we can just chat along the way about current events or something."

Twilight and Pinkie then went into a fun little debate of current events around Ponyville, like Mayor Mare's election campaign, and some juicy gossip.

Kadeem and the rest of the cars were getting close to Tezla's new base as they snaked they snaked all around the canyon walls and its pillars.

"Tezla has built his new base where no one will ever find it, follow me and match my speed." Kadeem said as he drove full speed off the cliff.

Vert knowing that Kadeem would not be killed from an impact in the cliff drove full speed and kept right behind Kadeem's car. Soon Vert and the rest were all going through a digital projection of a cliffside and were then back on the ground as they drove into a large dome with a race track circling around it. The only one of them not to follow Kadeem was Mitchell Miclear "Monkey" who thought Kadeem was crazy until all the cars went straight through the wall and disappeared. Monkey then reverse his car and went full speed into the cliff saying "here goes nothing, ah who am I kidding here goes everything."

Once Vert and the others (except for Monkey) were all in the dome a virtual hologram appeared and Dr. Tezla's familar form appeared as it circled around them.

"WELCOME TO THE ACELLEDROME, Gelorum has the Wheel of Power."

Monkey was just now arriving in the dome and put the brake on his car to a halt and popped his head out.

"Did I miss something?"

The Teku all looked at Monkey with disgust as Gig came down from a large tower and instructed all the drivers to follow him.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash were hoof and hoof as they neared the finish line, until 3 ponies came up to them and rammed them out of the way into a tree. As Rainbow Dash and Applejack both recovered from the impact they could just barely see the 3 ponies nearing the finish line. THEY WERE NOT GOING TO HAVE IT.

"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Rainbow yelled as she ran full speed into them.  Applejack went into a gallop and jumped into the air landing on...Doctor Whoof...with WINGS!?

"What in the hay is going on here, and why you have those fancy smancy wings?" Applejack yelled as she tackled the Doctor to the ground.

The Changling knew if his cover was blown he would be sent to Princess Celestia herself and then...he didn't want to imagine what might happen next. He thought if he could stay calm and collective he might be able to pass off as the "Doctor" as some apparently call him.

"Apple Dash why did you do that?"  The Changeling winced at his mistake of her name as "Bon Bon" was going just now passing the finish line.

"Apple what now?" Rainbow Dash said as she Tackled Cheerilee with a horn to the ground.

"ARE YOU 2 SPIES!?"

The 2 changlings used their drone like minds and formed a mental conversation next to each and started a mental deal.

"If we reveal our selves to them and surrender they might go easy on us."

"Or they could just kill us right then and there."

"You know as well Chrysalis does that these ponies are not blood thirsty monsters....like...us."

The next thing they knew they were being dragged past their glorious Queen who had won the race and straight to...the Princess's Luna and Celestia. They both gulped in fear as they bowed to the rulers.

"RAINBOW DASH WHAT WAS THE MEANING OF THIS." Luna accidently used the Canterlot Royal voice as she tried to change her tone as she noticed the 2 ponies being held by AJ and Dash were starting to tear up and whimper in fear.

"Have no fear my children, we I mean I am not wishing to frighten you." Luna said as she laid her hoof on their shoulders hoping to give them some confidence back. This only made them squirm and cry in fear. Luna took a few steps back and rejoined her Sister and pondered why the ponies were still afraid of her.

The changeling then reestablished his mind link and continued their deal.

"Well it's now or never we should just show ourselves for who we are and maybe they'll go nice on us."

"As if, you can revel yourself all you want, DID YOU SEE THAT PRINCESS YELLING. There's no telling what she could do she could send us to the moon or inside the bowls of Equestria's core.

The Princess's and the ponies around them jumped in surprise as Doctor Whoofs wings disappeared the rest of his body transformed back to the form of a changeling.

The rest of the racers including Pinkie and Twilight were just now crossing as they looked to their left and jaws were dropping as the changelings...surrendered.

"AH HA I KNEW IT, THEY WERE SPYS ALL ALONG!" Rainbow Dash said as she tightened her grip around "Cheerliee's" neck. Her form soon changed back as well and both princesses were still in a "shock and awe" of the events that just transpired.

"Well then since your surrendering...Shining Armor take these ponies into custody at once. One of the other Royal guards approached and whispered into her ear. "Very well then, since there are certain circumstances occurring in our Guard system we will just bring you back to our palace ourselves for questioning, come Luna we will have to leave at once sorry my little ponies, but this matter is extremely delicate and must taken care of at once."

Luna did not wish to leave and requested to stay at the race and give out the medals while her sister went to the castle. Celestia agreed, but as soon as the awards were done being handed out she was to report straight to the castle to "assist" her in these changelings. She then flew off in her carriage with the 2 Changelings being held by guards and speed off Canterlot Castle.

"Well with that out of the way my children, let us hand out the ceremonial rewards for the "Running of thy leaves." Luna cursed herself mentally thinking that she had the whole "old" speak under control.

"In first place is the pony we call Bon-Bon. In 2nd and 3rd is Rainbow Dash and Applejack. In fourth and fifth is Fluttershy and Rarity and in sixth and seventh is Vinyl Scratch and Derpy Hooves  "HEY FOR THE LAST TIME IT'S DJ Pon-3 and my name is DITZY NOT DERPY!" Luna apoligized and went back to her announcing. "In Last place is Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle."

"NOW COME UP HERE TO RECIVE THY JUST REWARDS" Luna was for once using the Canterlot voice effectively as she yelled louder than the crowd of cheering ponies. After all the ponies were on the platform Luna began to hand out the medals from order of last place to first place. Just as she was approaching "Bon-Bon" Lyra came up to congratulate her and suddenly a strange portal opened up in the middle of the platform and sucked "Bon-Bon" into it and then it disappeared. For a few seconds the rest of the ponies were confused, but then another portal opened up and sucked up the rest of the racers including Luna and Lyra. Next thing the ponies knew they were flying straight into a hard wall and all of them lost consciousness just as some strange 2 legged creatures approached them. The only one who was still awake and able to move was Luna.

"Now why are we here again?" Monkey asked as he rode the lift up and was looking around the Acelledrome and all of the high tech gadgets.

"We're here to help Dr. Tezla." Vert said as he flashbacked to old High Way 35 and hoped that he would need help yet again in the realms. After the lift reached the top they were shown around quickly the cafeteria and their living quarters if they decide to stay and help Dr. Tezla. They were then all escorted into a board room and were told to wait for Dr. Tezla to arrive. Around 5 minutes passed until the door opened up and one of Verts old teamates Lani was walking in a mechanic suit with oil all over her fingers.

"Lani it's good to see another wave ripper."

"I'm not racing Vert, I'm helping Tezla with the races and will be your "eye in the sky"

"So last time Tezla wanted the Wheel what does the old man want now?" Taro said as he doubted that Tezla was asking for their help with simple realm races.

"It's not as simple as that Tork now that the drones have the wheel we shouldn't be able to enter the racing realms."

"Okay stop right there lady, you said racing so does that mean this will get paid well?" everyone in the room started to chuckle. Monkey was going to ask why, but then decided not to.

"You said shouldn't Lani so I take it we are able to enter them." Kurt said as he was looking at the hologram of the Wheel of Power.

"Before the Wheel was taken Dr. Tezla discovered you could use a digital copy of it and it would work just as well as the real one." Gig said as suddenly an alarm sounded all over the compound.

"A RACING REALM IS OPENING" Gig said as he looked at the racing symbol on the Wheel. It was a horse shoe and just as quickly as the realm opened it closed and the wheel began to spin again. All the drivers looked out the windows and saw that some creatures had popped out of the portal and were on the ground some bleeding, others in pain.

"Vert get down there and see if any of those things need help i'll go get the ambulance."

"Rogar that Lani." Vert said as he ran to lift and punched the down button. Within a few seconds he was back on the ground and could see that the "creatures" were ponies.... Vert didn't question it and went all around checking their bodies over for any wounds. A few had broken bones and almost all of them were bleeding all except for one...that was standing right over him as he checked a purple pony with a horn sticking out its head. The pony had a horn and wings growing out her body and her mane looked like the night sky. Vert was going to question why they were here, but the racing realm is not as strange as some techno colored ponies.

"uhhhh I'm trying to help them, trust me"

"VERY WELL CREAUTRE, BUT YOU DARE AS HARM THEM YOU WILL PAY"

Vert then stood mouth-a-gape as his brain just tried to process what was going on.

"diidddd..did..diddddd you just TALK!?" Maybe Vert was wrong the racing realm is FAR less interesting then these techno colored ponies.

A/N: well this chapter is done and this one was a BLAST to write. I have many more ideas for this story and can't wait to share them all with you (HINT HINT Elements of Acellechargers) and as for the story please comment and let me know what you think of it.
