Spike and the rest of the soldiers who were trying to fight back against the army's watch with terror as the monster known as Deathstorm was flying directly to them with rage. With what they've heard, Deathstorm was even bigger of a threat then Cynder used to be, she took her title as Terror of the Skies, and that should already be enough to tell them how hard this will be to stop her.

Everyone was starting to back up in fear as Deathstorm was getting even closer to put a stop to they're resistance, Spike could feel his heart racing the closer she got, and just felt like she had to be avoided.
"What do we do? How do we stop her from destroying the city?!" Spike asked with fear as they all ran off the ledge and screamed as Deathstorm swarmed to the wall and unleashed a powerful burst of dark magic around her which knocked all the soldiers off it, sending them down where the main gates were.

Spike landed down on all fours alongside Spyro and Cynder, but they couldn't rest for a single second now, Deathstorm flew above them and started flying through the city, and she began shooting waves of fire across the city to burn it to ash, the fire was a dark purple color while it's heat could already be felt from it's power.

This made Spike gulp with fear and dread knowing they have to find a way to stop her.
"I can't believe we have to face her here of all times!" Sparx said with annoyance as they tried to catch up with her before she destroys anything else.

Hunter ran besides them and managed to catch up with them after being separated, and they hoped he knew how to stop this.
"Hunter, you've made it out of encounters with her before right? What do you think can slow her down?" Cynder asked with fear as they turned another corner.

"The dark crystals around her armor are what's protecting her from any Aether attacks that could break her armor, you need to find a way to get up close and break them to leave her open, once her armor is gone, she should be able to go down with a combination of all your powers! But she won't go down without a fight!" Hunter explained as he ran over a wall and went up to a higher ledge to speed up.

"How are we gonna get that close without drawing her attention? She could take us down easily if she gets us!" Spyro asked with worry while they were starting to flap they're wings to take into the skies.

"Don't let those thoughts get to you Spyro! If we can at least weaken her, it'll make her retreat so we can finish the rest of the army! We'll have to stop her for good later, but we need to at least break her armor!" Cynder shouted again while they started flying besides Hunter who took out his bow to deliver the first strike.

"That's going to be the best we can do for now, we mustn't let her find Ignitus or the other guardians! They'll stand no chance!" Hunter ordered as he put an arrow in his bow and waited for the right moment to take aim at her.

"Is there any way we can get close to her Hunter?" Spike asked again while he was trying to figure a way out of this too.

"I'll draw her attention when the time is right, if there's one thing I can do, it's at least hit the crystals to get her attention, we'll hold down the line while you try and destroy the crystals on her body!" Hunter instructed again while he started leaping towards a higher ledge which worried them.

"What? But Hunter, you barely were able to get away from her the last time you met! You could get very hurt from this!" Spike shouted with worry while Hunter looked up at Deathstorm and got the right moment to strike.

"I'll be fine! I've survived worse things before! Just do what you can and destroy her armor!" Hunter shouted again as he aimed his bow right towards the top of Deathstorm's back, and released the arrow just as she flew into the position he wants her, and the arrow flew extremely fast through the air and pierced through the crystal and destroyed it which made Deathstorm roar with anger.

"Who.. dares?!" Deathstorm asked with fury as she looked to where she felt the wind go by her, and she looked down and saw Hunter on a nearby building and was already taking the moment to leave to avoid her.

"Well, if it isn't Hunter, you think you can catch me off guard like that again?! Let's see if you can survive me this time!!" Deathstorm roared before she dived through the sky directly to the building, and she shot a fire blast directly at it which destroyed it just as Hunter jumped across another rooftop.

"Go! Destroy the crystals now!" Hunter shouted one last time as he jumped off the last building in front of him and fell down to the alley's of the city just as Deathstorm destroyed the next building and almost caught Hunter by his cape.

Spike and the rest of the group watched with shock as Hunter was trying to avoid being caught by her, and that's when they got an idea on how to get close to her.

"Guys, when she's distracted with Hunter, we'll make it close once she's near the ground!" Spike advised as they flew as fast as they could through the buildings around the city while Deathstorm was causing more destruction.

"Let's do this quick before Hunter or anyone else get's hurt! Come on!" Spyro shouted again as they dove downwards to catch up speed to stop this.

They all flew over the city while making sure not to be seen by Deathstorm who was distracted by Hunter, they were really impressed with Hunters speed in being able to outrun her, but he won't be able to hold out for long, and it wasn't getting any easier as more monster's were spawning within the city.

They all dove downwards and used they're elemental breaths to take them down so they don't cause any distractions, it was very annoying having to deal with them while also handling Deathstorm, and it wasn't getting any easier.
"Ugh, why did Malefor have to invade my home, and take another dragon?!" Spike asked with frustration as this couldn't leave his mind right now.

"It's just one of his ways into getting to other's Spike, he's likely using this to get into your head! If he knows who you are, he most likely knows how to make you give into your rage, but don't let that distract you son, please, it'll only make things worse!" Cynder replied with a worried look while Spike just growled thinking over it.

The more he heard Deathstorm's roars of anger, it just made him want to take Malefor down sooner, Deathstorm didn't deserve this, and whoever she was before being corrupted, they need to save her before she's stuck like this forever because of him.

They could see Deathstorm trying to cause more chaos within the city while the moles were trying to hide from her power, and they needed to stop her from killing any innocent life here. Spike looked at where the crystals are, and he saw there were a few of them covering each part of her body, and they should focus on what spot to work on first.

"Guys, let's try going for her main body first! Then we'll focus on the claws and wings afterwards!" Spike declared as they flew down another alley to sneak up on her while she was coming right into range.

"Everyone get ready, and don't let her see you!" Cynder instructed one last time as they hid within the shadows for the right moment, and they could see Deathstorm was swooping down to deliver another attack against the city.

Spyro waited for the right moment in order to attack her, she looked to have her guard up for anything, but that wasn't gonna stop them from trying.
"Ready.. and.. now!" Spyro whispered before they all lunged directly at her just as she flew past the alley, and Spike summoned his Fire sword again and slashed at one of the crystals on her body, while Spyro used his Earth powers to shatter a few more that covered her main body, and Cynder finished it off by using her Siren scream to shatter the last ones that were on the underbelly.

Deathstorm roared with both pain and anger as she felt the crystals be shattered around her body, she quickly turned around and looked shocked to see more of the crystals on her body was broken, and she realized something important.
"So.. this is just a distraction, clever Hunter. But whoever's doing this, I will find them, and they will suffer!!" Deathstorm roared before she took a deep breath and shot a powerful blast of dark energy through the streets of the city.

The blast pierced through the ground and started shooting up dark pillars of fire which were nearly hitting Spike and the group as they were trying to escape them.
"Look out guys! They're right behind us!" Spyro shouted again as they were avoiding any blast that nearly hit them until Cynder saw another corner they could escape in.

"There! Hard right!" Cynder screamed again as all of them took one last right turn while Sparx screamed from nearly being hit, and the dark blasts shot upwards towards a very large building and completely destroyed it in a second.

Everyone was shocked with Deathstorm's' power up close, and it didn't help the matter as she was searching for them now, and it made it tougher to get close to her.

"She won't let that happen again unless we find another way! We can't stay hidden forever guys!" Sparx informed as they tried hiding within a large tower that was partially destroyed, Spike peaked around the corner and looked for her through the city.

And he soon found her flying above it and was raising her claws in the air, and to his shock, she started shooting dark waves of energy at the soldiers holding up the line at the gates which meant they can't hide anymore.
"She's attacking the people guarding the gates! We need to go now!" Spike informed once again as they saw she was close to breaking down the door for the army's to get inside.

Everyone quickly took off from the tower and headed directly to Deathstorm and felt ready to fight, with what they've faced before to now, Deathstorm shouldn't scare them with how strong she's said to be.

"She's coming up fast guys, get ready!" Spyro said once again as Spike summoned his Poison hammer again and got ready to strike.

"Heads up!!" Sparx screamed to the top of his lungs which stopped Deathstorm from attacking the gates for a brief moment.

"Who..?!" Deathstorm couldn't even finish her sentence before Spike came in and smashed her right claw with his hammer, that shattered most of the crystals on them, and Spyro followed it up with his lightning, and then Cynder used her Wind powers to destroy the ones on her other claw.

Deathstorm roared once again with an ear piercing screech just as Spike and the others landed down directly in the center of the city, Deathstorm soon recovered from the blast and glared down directly at the three dragons, Spike clutched his fists as she roared at them again and dove directly down to the ground and landed in front of them which made a crater from her strength.

Deathstorm slowly rose upwards and towered over all of them just like Cynder once did, only she was far bigger then her, even Sparx started to feel afraid being so up close to her with how deadly she looks.
"Maybe we should've stayed hidden guys.." Sparx said with fear as Deathstorm snarled at them.

"Well well, if it isn't the Legendary purple Dragon, and the former Terror of the Skies, and her pathetic son. I've been waiting for this moment.." Deathstorm snarled again while she stomped to them who all stood they're ground.

"You must be Deathstorm, Malefor's weapon, the one that's been causing destruction in this world since we disappeared." Spyro said with anger while Deathstorm chuckled hearing that.

"Not just in this world too, all the realms have been falling under my master's claws, and when this world is done, that world known as Equestria will be next! That world is a stain upon all the realms, and we will make sure it's destroyed soon enough!" Deathstorm roared which made Spike very furious.

"You leave my home alone! Don't you remember that you came from that world too? Don't you remember anything about your life there?!" Spike shouted as he tried to get through to her, but she only scoffed hearing that.

"My life in Equestria only made me look pathetic, it wasn't until my Master found me, and gave me these powers, it showed me just how weak everything else is, and that the dragons there, are nothing more then a disgrace to the ones here, I've been waiting for a long time to destroy you, because once your gone, the residents of that world will lose hope, and it will only give my master the time to destroy them all.." Deathstorm mocked with a sinister tone which made Spike even more furious.

But Cynder was the last one to try and convince her to stop this, she knew this dreadful feeling more then she does, and she stood in front of them to try and prevent this.
"You won't be going anywhere near my son! You need to push through Malefor's powers! It's corrupting you! We all know you wouldn't want to do this! Malefor will only get rid of you everything is destroyed! He's using you! Just like how he used me! You have the chance to stop this!" Cynder begged again which only made her laugh mockingly.

"Why would I want to give up this power? My Master has gifted me with ability's I never would've dreamed off, if you remained loyal to him, and never had that child of yours, you may have had these ability's like me.. but now.. I will only use it.. to destroy all of you..!" Deathstorm said sinisterly as she reached down into her armor for something important.

Deathstorm started to stand on 2 feet which shocked everyone as she started to tower over them even more, and what made it worse, is that she pulled out a powerful looking scepter with a gemstone on the top, and it was completely surrounded with the Dark Master's power.

"What is that?!" Spike asked with shock as Deathstorm roared at all of them and twirled it around which created black flames from it.

"Your.. destruction!!" Deathstorm roared one last time before she slammed the scepter on the ground, and that shot dozens of pillars of black fire all over the area, and they destroyed any buildings around them to cage them in for a fight, they couldn't out fly her in this situation either, and they had no choice but to fight her.

Spike and everyone else stood they're ground as Deathstorm towered over them, and roared at them with pure fury while her eyes glowed white, Deathstorm raised the scepter into the air, and soon raised it too them before it started shooting out blasts of fire directly at them.

"Go, now!" Spike shouted again as they all rolled out of the way from her attacks, Deathstorm twirled it around like it was a flaming stick, and soon jumped in the air and started shooting multiple flaming circles at them as her next attack.

Cynder saw this as a moment to get close to her, and they all got ready as the flaming circles charged directly at them, and at the right moment, they all lunged through each one and took into the air, they all flew through each one with skill while getting even closer to Deathstorm, and she changed her next attack to shooting more waves of Shadow at them through her claws.

Spike came in front of them again and summoned his Fire sword again, and he quickly deflected each one as they were right in front of her to strike, Spike made a loud battle cry again and soon slashed at another one of the dark crystals surrounding her neck once again which infuriated her.

"You little pest!!" Deathstorm roared before she quickly twirled around and whacked all of them away with her sharp tail, this sent them all back to the ground roughly and they went rolling over the floor until they hit a wall. They all groaned a bit as they were hit hard, but they were still ready to fight her.

"You guys alright?" Spyro asked with concern while Cynder shook her head.

"I'm used to this kind of pain by now.." Cynder answered with a bit of a guilty look.

"With how much I've taken.. I'll be fine.. but we can't keep going on like this, we need to break through that armor of hers!" Spike said seriously again while they turned back to Deathstorm who flew over them, Deathstorm made another roar of fury again before she started closing her wings around herself, and they noticed she was powering up a very strong blast.

"Oh no.. get down!" Cynder screamed as she tacked all of them through another alley just as Deathstorm screeched with anger, and she sent a huge shockwave of darkness and power across the city, and the shockwave cut directly through dozens of building which made them topple over in an instant.

"You won't last forever! This world will end soon! And my master will be it's rightful ruler!" Deathstorm screeched as she held up her scepter and began charging up more power again.

Spike could feel something familiar about that scepter she held, he didn't know why, but it gave him a very bad feeling it ties into when she was kidnapped. She's clearly lost control of herself, and is just a puppet now, but that won't stop him from doing everything he can to stop her.

Everyone recovered from that powerful blast again, and they saw Deathstorm was waiting for the moment they came out to fight, they can't just keep doing this forever, and they needed to take her down now.
"Come on guys, the crystals are almost gone! Once that's done with, we need to get rid of the armor surrounding her!" Spike reminded one last time as they saw the black armor covering her entire body, not being able to show a single scale on her.

"We need to use Aether on her! It may not free her now, but it will give us time to get ready for our next fight, if she leaves, we'll be ready to stop her when she attacks again!" Spyro suggested which was a good idea.

"I thought Hunter said it wouldn't work on her? How do you think it will stop her here?" Sparx asked with an unconvinced look, and even if that may be true, they needed to at least try it to be sure.

"We won't know until we try it! Everyone ready?!" Cynder snarled as they all got ready and started charging up they're powers together as they have full access to it by now.

"Let's end this!" Spike shouted again as they all charged out of their hiding spot directly towards Deathstorm who finished charging up her own finishing move.

"You are all finished!!" Deathstorm roared as she shot a very powerful beam of dark power directly at them, and that's when Spike, Spyro and Cynder all tapped into they're powers of Aether at once, they're bodies began glowing bright purple as the power flowed around them, all they're eyes turned into a very bright purple color, and the power was building up to the point it needed to be unleashed.

"Let her have it!" Spyro screamed as they all shot powerful blasts of Aether directly towards her own, and the blasts collided with eachother in a wave battle in order to over power one another, Deathstorm tried pouring all the power she had into the blast with her dark powers, but Spike and his group did the same thing with they're Aether, and only shot even more of it to push the wave back.

Spike started to scream with fury as he felt the Aether flowing through every part of his being, it was the most powerful thing he'd ever felt, and Spyro and Cynder soon joined in to push this back.
"Just.. a little.. more!!" Cynder screamed as the blast got even stronger with every second.

"I will not.. fail!" Deathstorm screamed again while they all put every ounce of they're power into this wave battle, but when it looked like Deathstorm's blast was about to overpower them, a very sharp arrow came flying directly at the last crystal covering her body, and once it shattered, it weakened her power to the point she had to stop with the blast.

"No!" Deathstorm roared as she looked to where the arrow came from, and she saw Hunter had taken a very clear shot with a special bow he got.

"That was for last time, Deathstorm." Hunter said with a smirk as he saw Spike and the others charging up one more time, and they soon fired one last blast at her to weaken her.

Deathstorm roared with pain as the blast of Aether swarmed over her body and destroyed any remanent of the Dark Crystals that were on her, the armor around her began to crack from the overwhelming power, and during this process, Deathstorm had dropped the scepter she had in the process.

Spike quickly noticed the scepter was falling towards the ground, and he didn't waste another second to fly to it and he grabbed it just before it hit the ground, Spike noticed the dark power around it was starting to fade, and it made him question what this thing even is.

Deathstorm screamed as she felt her armor around her being broken apart from the blast, cracks of it started to fall off, and her body was starting to become more exposed, and that's when Deathstorm saw Spike had her scepter with him, and it made her absolutely furious.

"No! That is mine!" Deathstorm roared as she charged directly down to him to finish him, but Spike felt the scepter's power build up for some reason, and before Spike could even process it, Spike's body suddenly moved the scepter upwards and went directly at her.

"What the?!" Spike shouted with shock just as the scepter shot one last blast at her, and the power from the scepter was so strong, it shot pierced through the clouds and created a beam of light, this finally destroyed any armor Deathstorm had on her, and it made her roar with anger as she was weakened even more.

"No, no! How was it that you were able to break through my armor?! That scepter only works for me!" Deathstorm shouted with anger as Spyro and Cynder finally landed besides Spike as the green magic tethered them together.

"We may not know what it is, but one things for sure, it doesn't belong to you!" Spyro countered again while Spike held the scepter tightly.

"I don't care if this thing belonged to you or not! You've caused enough destruction in this world! Your master won't last much longer, and when we're done, we will stop you too!" Spike declared which made her growl in response.

"You pathetic child! My master will only grow over time, while you all have been fighting for this pathetic city, none of you have realized that this is just a distraction!" Deathstorm mocked which shocked everyone hearing it.

"What do you mean by that? What is the Dark Master planning?!" Spyro asked with anger while she laughed like a maniac.

"You all will see soon, that is, if you live long enough to see it!" Deathstorm laughed as she soon took off from the city and back to her master's lair in the sky's while the army was still trying to attack the place.

Spike felt the power around the scepter fade away, and it made him look at it as it looked to be restored to a former state it used to have.
"Man, villain monologues, it's so annoying, at least she's gone for now, that's a good thing right guys?" Sparx joked as he saw they were looking at the scepter in Spike's hand, completely ignoring him.

"What is that thing Spike?" Spyro asked with concern as the thing was slowly restoring upon being freed from Malefor's power.

"I feel a very strong power from it.. where did she get this?" Cynder asked with fascination as the gem on top started to become a bright red, while the rest of the scepter looked like a Sapphire blue, and a mix in of other colors.. but that's when Spike realized exactly what it was..

"No.. way.." Spike said with horror as the scepter was finally restored to it's original form, and it was a very familiar scepter Spike once held previously, Spike couldn't believe it, he didn't even think something like this would be possible, but the more he looked at it, the more he saw it really was what he thinks..

"Spike? Are you okay? Do you recognize this thing?" Sparx asked with concern while Spike's hands were shaking with both shock, and complete fury from knowing what this must mean.

"It's.. the Bloodstone Scepter..." Spike said with shock and anger as he fully recognized it, it was no doubt the Bloodstone Scepter from Equestria, and if this is true.. then it means one thing.. it was stolen from the Dragon Lands..

Hey guys thanks for reading this! Sorry if the reveal of the Bloodstone Scepter being stolen felt out of nowhere in some parts, but I'm going to go into how it was stolen soon don't worry, I have plans to make it work that ties into Deathstorm too, I just think this will be a really great way to add onto the drama, and make things more important for not just Spike, but Ember too.

I'll be going into the next part with the Golem soon, but this part is something I wanted to get done, I hope that the fight with Deathstorm felt cool to read, I'll trying add more depth to her during the final confrontation with Malefor too to add more to her dialogue that doesn't feel basic, if you have any ideas on how the talk can go before the fight, let me know if you want and I'll try blending it into the story.
