No eyes, Always Watching

WOW This one was LONG overdue, but I can finally be content to say I may be able to do more chapters and more frequent updates as the semester is almost over.  So for those of you who actually waited for this, here ya go~

Chapter 5

Is it ‘sposed to Dangle like that?

Tyler trudged his way back to the farm after his encounter with the human loving unicorn, covered in more dirt and sweat than earlier.  He finally made it back where AppleJack was waiting at the entrance for him, trying to stifle a chuckle as he walked up to her looking slightly annoyed.

“AppleJack what’s so funny?” Tyler asked giving her a small glare.

“Ah don’t know what ya’ll are talkin’ about…..pfff….Ah don’t think anything is funny.” She replied as she scrunched up her face.

Tyler looked down at her and rolled his eyes “You’re a terrible liar, you know that right?”

AppleJack finally gave up and fell to the ground laughing and pointing at Tyler.

“Ah didn’t think Lyra would cause ya that much trouble!” she said between her laughs and gasps for air.

“Oh so you know her?  Do me a favor, next time she comes looking for me, give me a heads up….” Tyler said as he walked by AppleJack to the barn.

“Don’t worry, Ah’ll let ya know if’n I see the big bad scary Lyra.”  She replied with a smirk.

Prey…..It needed to find prey…..It’s all that mattered to him, catching his prey so he could feed upon their fears and sanity…..he slowly skulked through the shadows of the everfree forest, looking around for signs of his escaped quarry, poking around the bushes and trees with his tendrils...All he could think about…..was the boy who had narrowly escaped him that night..

Tyler walked through town, still covered head to toe in dirt and sweat from his rather eventful day, resembling a coal miner after a general work day.  As he walked along he saw five of his new pony friends, along with Twilight’s dragon assistant heading towards what seemed to be a spa.

“Hey guys! What’s going on?” Tyler said as he ran over to them catching their attention.

“Goodness Tyler! How did you get so dirty?”  Rarity exclaimed, barely keeping herself from fainting.

“Let’s just say I had an encounter with a crazy unicorn….But that’s not important, what I want to know is what you girls….and dragon…..are up to.” He replied brushing a bit of dirt from his jeans.

“We’re having a little spa day together, would you like to join us?  You could use it the most out of everypony here.” Twilight said looking at the dirt caked boy

“Well….just because I could really use a bath…..by the way where’s Skittles?”

“Skittles? ” Twilight asked with a confused expression

“….I mean Rainbow Dash”

I was kinda hoping they would get that one

“Oh well the spa isn’t her thing…Especially anything that would have to do with her hooves being touched.  Would you like to join us? I mean I’m not sure spas are really your thing either….but…..the least you could do is get a bath.” she asked with a slight chuckle

Tyler glanced over to a nearby window and saw just how dirty he was, giggling  before giving them a nod

“Yeah…. I guess I might as well get a bath.”

“Maybe we should have warned them ahead of time that they might need to change the water…” Spike said, earning a round of giggles from the mares.

Tyler just rolled his eyes and walked into the spa with them.

As they entered the spa Tyler looked around and couldn’t help but feel a little impressed at the humble spa.

“Well….sure seems nice.” Tyler said as he looked around

“Oh it’s MORE than nice darling, you will leave this spa feeling like a new pony--err….human.” Rarity replied as she was greeted by Aloe and Lotus, the twins who ran the spa.

Tyler waited as he saw the ponies trot towards different areas of the spa to being their treatment, he followed them until he found the bath then smiled and called over Aloe.

“Uhm, excuse me miss where may I find the changing room?”

Aloe giggled and simply replied “We don’t have changing rooms dear.”

“…You….don’t?” Tyler replied as he felt the blood pour into his face, turning it a rather bright shade of crimson.

Pinkie Pie hopped over and giggled as she playfully nudged Tyler’s leg “Why would you need a changing room? Most ponies don’t normally wear clothes anyways Silly!” Pinkie Pie replied, bouncing around the room

“Crap…”

Lyra woke up to find she was in her bed at home with Bon Bon nearby watching her.

“Bon Bon what the hay happened? Did I meet the human?”

“You sure did, his name is Tyler by the way….”

“I did?! What happened though?! I don’t remember anything!” Lyra shouted throwing her hooves into the air

“You chased him around town and scared the crap outta him, I made you apologize to him, thankfully he accepted your apology, then he pet you and you passed out.”  She replied

“Wh-where did he go?! I didn’t even get to talk to him or see his hands Bon Bon, HIS HANDS!” Lyra exclaimed as she sat up and hopped out of her bed, heading towards the door.

Bon Bon quickly got up and blocked the door “Oh no we are not going through this again Lyra, you’ll just end up causing trouble again, and thanks to your antics the past few days, I have the constant taste of your tail in my mouth!”

Lyra sighed before sitting down and looking at the floor defeated “I’m sorry Bon Bon….Maybe we should just go to the spa together, maybe it’ll help me forget about the hum--….I mean Tyler….”

Bon Bon smiled and opened the door “I would love that Lyra.” She said before trotting out the door with Lyra towards the direction of the spa.

“Tyler get yer hind end out here already! What’s the big deal about bein’ naked!?  We don’t normally wear clothes anyways!” AppleJack yelled at the door of a nearby closet Tyler had hidden himself in to change.

“But you’re ponies! It’s different for humans!” Tyler shouted back at her.

“Oh fer the love a Celestia just put a towel on and get out here!” she said, waiting a few moments before Tyler finally came out with a towel around his waist.

“Ok fine…..as long as I have a towel on it should be fine…” he said with a slight blush on his face walking over to the large bath where Twlight and Fluttershy were relaxing.

“Oh uhm….Hi Tyler….would you uhm like to join us…..I mean you don’t have to…”Fluttershy said, hiding her face behind her mane as she usually did.

“Yeah the waters just fine, plus you’ll be able to get clean.” Twilight said

“Well I might as well….could you uhm….not look for a moment?” Tyler asked giving a quick glance at his towel.  Twilight and Fluttershy just stared at him for a moment before it dawned on them causing Fluttershy to blush heavily and immediately look the other way, Twilight doing the same with a small chuckle.

Tyler took his towel off from around his waist and quickly got into the water, setting his towel nearby.  “Ok it’s fine now.”

“You humans sure are strange, what’s the big deal about being naked?” Twilight asked as Tyler splashed water on his face, washing most of the dirt off.

“Well, in human society it’s frowned upon being naked in public, it’s kind of a law…..plus we are kind of a modest race, we don’t believe we should be naked without reason, or when around the right person.” Tyler replied as she washed more dirt off himself.

“The right person?”  Fluttershy asked as she started to get out of the water.

“Well like say a doctor, or like….somebody special....or in your case somepony special I think you’d say?”

Fluttershy’s face once again turned red and she hid behind her mane “O-oh my….”

Twilight nodded before she levitated a notepad and quill over, vigorously scribbling away “Fascinating! So humans wear clothes due to a set of morals, laws, and even dignity!”

Tyler looked over at the purple unicorn scribbling onto her notepad.

“You just get a big stiffy for knowledge don’t you Twilight….?”

Twilight looked over to Tyler with a confused look on her face

“What’s a stiffy?” she asked, causing AppleJack and Pinkie Pie to giggle nearby.

Why doesn’t it surprise me she wouldn’t know? Tyler thought to himself as he started washing the rest of himself.

Tyler let out a sigh of relief as he sat in the sauna with his five pony friends and dragon acquaintance, enjoying the hot steam as it seemed to just ease his troubles away.

“Goodness did I need this….and it’s only been one day in this crazy town….” Tyler said

“Well ya’ll should get used to it sugarcube, you had the easier workload today.  You don’t even know what it means to be workin’ for the Apple family.”  AppleJack replied, causing Tyler to groan.

Outside of the sauna they heard the bell from the front door ring as somepony else entered the spa, then Lotus’ voice could be heard greeting the new guests.

“Oh hey Bon Bon, hey Lyra~!”

Tyler jolted upright and peeked out of the sauna seeing Lyra and Bon Bon standing at the entrance, “Oh crap!....Lyra just walked in!” He said as he looked back to AppleJack

“AppleJack you gotta help me! I can’t deal with another encounter with that crazy pony!”

“Alright Alright calm down, why don’t I distract her for ya? Then you can get your clothes then sneak out.” AppleJack replied as she trotted out and started talking to Lyra.

Tyler quickly sneaked out as he headed towards the closet he had left his clothes in, taking every step carefully until he stepped on a random bar of soap left in the middle of the floor (yes….completely random) and slipped, letting out a yell and falling flat on his back, immediately drawing the attention of all the ponies in the room as well as the others in the sauna who decided to peek out to see the commotion.

“Ugh….Who the hell leaves soap on the damn floor?” Tyler said as he stood up, looking around and seeing poor Fluttershy had turned redder than anybody ever thought possible and immediately hid behind her mane, Rarity had fainted, thankfully being caught by Spike who stared in confusion as all the other ponies in the room just stood there with their hooves over their mouths and their faces redder than ever.

“What….why are you all staring like that?” Tyler asked as he looked at the flustered ponies.

“Uhm….is it…’sposed to dangle like that?” AppleJack asked, causing Tyler’s face to go completely crimson as he looked down, seeing his towel had left him.

“…..Crap….”

WELL here it is! Chapter 5 FINALLY HERE and as per usual Constuctive criticism is appreciated, as well as suggestions and possibly help for new chapters as I have just barely gotten past the writer’s block of the century.
