Ch 1: A Unicorn's Discovery
In the vast vacuum of space, Frieza's mothership loomed over the planet Vegeta. Kikono, one of Frieza's top scientists, approached his lord with his research on their alien forces. "Regarding the Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God, we've researched them extensively but they appear to be only myths," Kikono informed Frieza.
"Oh, wonderful. I expected as much. But I can't afford the least bit of anxiety right now, so I had to be sure. Not that they'd be a problem," Frieza replied.
"So then, are you canceling the attack?" Kikono inquired. Frieza simply chuckled in response.
"You are hilarious. Not after I went through the trouble of assembling all these monkeys. This is a perfect plan to get rid of the Saiyans, planet, and all, wouldn't you agree?" He made his intentions clear with just a glance; he intended to obliterate the planet Vegeta, along with the Saiyans.
As Bardock approached his house on the Saiyan homeworld, he was greeted by his neighbor, Turniz. "Hey Bardock, welcome back! How was your trip?" Turniz inquired.
"Good, thanks for asking," Bardock replied, before entering his home where his wife was waiting. Meanwhile, Turniz went back to enjoying his medium-rare steak and water.
A few minutes had passed when he heard a voice exclaim, "Huh? You've got to be kidding!?" Initially, he dismissed it, but the voice persisted, seeming to emanate from the other side of his neighbor's house, which, coincidentally, was Bardock's residence.
Turniz was aware that eavesdropping on his neighbors was inappropriate, but he couldn't help being relieved that he did in this instance. His eyes widened in dread, as the topic of conversation between the neighbors sent shivers down his spine.
"Hold on, the Super Saiyan? But that's only... that's just a children's fairy tale, Bardock!"
"I know. The problem is I think he's still bothered by the legend. And I can't imagine he'd want to take any chances. I get the feeling that death is on its way for us."
Turniz's appetite vanished as he contemplated the possibility of impending doom. He felt an urgent need to understand his neighbors' next move. He cautiously waited, eavesdropped, and observed their actions.
At midnight, Turniz stealthily followed Bardock and his wife, Gine, to a remote location away from civilization. He discovered their plan: they were preparing to send their son to another planet using an Attack Pod.
Although Turniz couldn't determine the destination planet for Bardock's son, he was resolute about his own course of action. If his neighbors were willing to send their son away for his safety, Turniz was prepared to do the same. Without Bardock or Gine suspecting his presence, he quietly returned home.
Frieza's impending doom to planet Vegeta could strike at any moment, so Turniz shared everything with his wife, Sweze, about what might happen if they didn't send their son away in time. The two Saiyans also managed to steal an Attack Pod for their son, Betorotto, to ensure his survival. It was a heart-wrenching decision, knowing it might be their last moment together.
"Are you absolutely sure about this? I just can't bear the thought of sending our son away, even though he's just a baby and has already shown potential in using ki," Sweze said, her voice trembling.
"I fear we have no other choice if our time is truly running out. I refuse to let Betorotto's destiny end here," Turniz replied, inputting coordinates for the planet where his son would be safe. After some searching, he found a suitable one.
"I've programmed the pod to head for the planet Equus," Turniz informed Sweze about the destination. "Their technology is scarce, and their power levels are low. I hope it doesn't attract the attention of Frieza's forces."
Betorotto sobbed, longing for his mom or dad, but all he could perceive and hear was his parents reaching out to him. "Don't worry, my child. You're going somewhere special where you will keep on living," Sweze said, tears streaming down her face.
"I want you to do whatever it takes to survive, but more importantly, to live a life worth fighting for," Turniz said. They wished they had more time to talk, but time might be running out. He placed his hand on the pod with Betorotto mimicking the same gesture from inside.
"Goodbye, Betorotto," Turniz uttered as he propelled the pod into orbit. Although Saiyans don't typically shed tears, Sweze became emotional, while Turniz managed only a single teardrop as the pod soared into orbit, departing planet Vegeta.
Soon after the Attack Pod carrying Betorotto left the planet, Frieza annihilated planet Vegeta, wiping out the entire Saiyan population. Frieza's Death Ball obliterated the Saiyan home world, leaving no survivors. The only remaining Saiyans were the ones who defied the order to return to planet Vegeta and the few who were sent away to live in peace, among them was Betorotto.
As the sleek pod hurtled through the vast expanse of solar systems and galaxies at the incredible speed of light, anticipation mounted for its imminent arrival at the planet of Equus. In a matter of mere minutes, the extraordinary spacecraft would reach its destination. In the blink of an eye, the majestic planet of Equus came into view, looming large as the pod breached its atmosphere, causing the surrounding air to ignite with flames. It was a dramatic and awe-inspiring sight as the pod prepared for a turbulent crash landing on the planet's surface.
It was a calm night on Equus, surrounded by the gentle glow of the moon and stars. During this peaceful night, a graceful unicorn mare named Clover Vine was embroiled in a tender struggle to lull her young filly to sleep in her home.
Clover Vine possessed a coat of the most delicate Double Spanish White, while her flowing mane and tail shimmered in hues of orange-coral, casting a luminous glow when touched by the light. Her eyes, a mesmerizing shade of pine green, reflected both wisdom and warmth. Her delicate hooves bore the color of gorse yellow, a complement to her overall graceful appearance.
Adorning her flank was a cutie mark depicting a vivid green heart, embellished with a crossing fork and spoon—a testament to her culinary prowess and her loving nature. As she tenderly sought to soothe her filly, Clover's love and serenity for her daughter was like no other in Equestria.
The two-year-old filly, Polka Plum, was quite unique and unlike any typical unicorn mare. Her stunning Martinique-colored coat was accentuated by Han Purple hair and striking cyan eyes. What set her apart even further were the pale blue polka dots that adorned her body and her distinctive pale blue leonine tail with the hair also being Han Purple, standing out in stark contrast to a typical unicorn's appearance.
But with these unique appendages, Clover's daughter faces several challenges. Although it's rare for ponies to have multi-colored coats and a leonine tail on a mare's haunces, it might also lead to her daughter shunned and bullied by other ponies her age. If any mother other than Clover had given birth to Polka, she might not have been wanted.
That's why Vine's love was extraordinary. She didn't judge her baby based on appearance; to her, it was her filly, and that was all that counted. For her, it didn't matter if a baby came from outer space; she would unquestionably embrace the child as her own.
Polka was on the verge of falling asleep when she heard a loud crash in the distance, prompting Clover's baby to start crying. Clover couldn't help but wonder what could have caused such a commotion so close to her home. Determined to find out, she quickly made her way towards the crash site.
Clover Vine found the object that crashed near the border of the Bone Dry Desert and on the beach of the Celestial Sea. Because of the smoke, the unicorn couldn't make out the object, prompting her to approach for a clearer view. As she neared the crash site, she observed what appeared to be a white sphere with a striking red circular window at its center.
"What in Equestria is that thing?" Clover wondered aloud as she laid eyes on what appeared to be a UFO. With hesitant steps, she approached the mysterious pod, and to her surprise, it began to open. Startled, but curious, Clover peered inside and was utterly stunned by what she saw within the gleaming white metal sphere.
Clover was utterly astounded by the sight before her. Encased within the sphere lay a baby, but not just any baby. This little being was unmistakably alien, with a much more bipedal physique than equine. His tail resembled that of a monkey, and his lustrous black hair bore a subtle undertone of deep red, perfectly matching the shade of red on his tail.
His clothing was truly bizarre, consisting of armor adorned with a blend of white, black, and yellow hues. The baby also sported white gloves, pointed shoes, and vibrant red shorts to add to the bizarreness. As their gazes met, Clover was struck by the alluring aquamarine hue of his eyes.
Clover Vine yelped as the alien infant tried to throw a punch at her, but she effortlessly dodged the strike with quick and graceful movements. The determined baby kept charging at her, relentlessly attempting to punch and kick her. However, no matter how hard the baby tried, Vine skillfully evaded every blow, her agility, and precision ensuring that she remained unscathed.
"What sort of baby would behave so wildly?" Vine pondered to herself as she continued to dodge the punches and kicks. Just as the child attempted to leap and land a powerful punch on the unicorn, he stumbled over a rock, tumbling face-first to the ground. As the alien baby sat up, tears welled up in his eyes, and he burst into sobs.
The tiny Saiyan had fiercely attempted to attack Clover, but upon seeing him in tears, she couldn't help but feel sorry for the baby creature. Approaching him gently, she illuminated her horn and used her magic to surround the infant in a soothing aura, lifting him up to her so she could calm him down. As the infant looked up through watery eyes, he found himself gazing at the gentle face of the pony he had tried to confront.
"It's okay, little one. I'm here for you," Clover whispered reassuringly to the child. Lowering herself onto her hind legs, she cradled the infant Saiyan in her front hooves, providing comfort and solace.
Clover, having finally managed to soothe the agitated child, noticed a small note tucked into the left side of the child's armor. Using her telekinesis, she lifted the note and read the strange word "Betorotto." She couldn't help but ponder over the odd choice of name for a baby.
As she contemplated the unusual name, Clover felt the touch of baby Betorotto on her cheek. Looking down at him, she witnessed his smile and heard his giggles, a reaction to her friendly demeanor. This interaction earned Clover the trust of Betorotto, who accepted her as a dependable figure in this unfamiliar world.
Betorotto soon drifted off to sleep in the comfort of Clover's front hooves. The unicorn gazed down at the peaceful baby before her, feeling a warm smile spread across her face at the sight of Betorotto's serene slumber. As time passed, Clover rose gracefully to her feet and carried Betorotto on her back, making her way back to their home.
Though not biologically related, in that moment and back in her house, Clover had realized that she would wholeheartedly embrace Betorotto as her own. Even though he was from a distant world, Clover was determined to make Equus his new home, with boundless adventures and experiences awaiting them both.
In the future, a new and extraordinary era will unfold with the infant Betorotto and his new mother Clover, as well as the unparalleled potential of Polka Plum. This future promises to be unlike anything the world has ever witnessed.
In just fifteen years, that future will become a reality.
Author's Note
The first chapter of my crossover story of My Little Pony and Dragon Ball Super: MoeruTamashī. If you guys want to know what MoeruTamashī translates, it translates to "Blazing Soul." Also side note, since Saiyan names are pun names for vegetables, I got creative with my OC Saiyan that Tundricwolf made for me which I will show in the future. And called him... Betorotto. Or Beto/Betoro for short. His name is inspired by the Japanese word, Bītorūto, which translates to Beetroot. I will make sure to bring more character development for him, Clover Vine, and Polka Plum’s in the next chapter.

Ch 2: 15 Years in the Future
It has been more than fifteen years since Clover Vine discovered Betoro on the shore of the Celestial Sea. Her daughter and adopted son have transformed into young adults. Despite being 35 years old, Clover has managed to maintain her youthful appearance and beauty in a truly miraculous way.
As she looked out from the porch of her home, she could see her daughter, Polka Plum, diligently caring for their flourishing garden. Ever since she was a filly, Polka Plum had always exhibited an unwavering determination in the face of adversity, and this was beautifully symbolized by the plum-shaped cutie mark that adorned her flank.
Vine confided in Plum about her unique features and, despite the initial challenge of accepting her differences from other ponies, she eventually embraced them. Polka adores her lion-like tail so deeply that she is unfazed by the opinions of others unless they have chosen to isolate themselves from society.
Polka Plum couldn't help but feel a sense of unfairness for both herself and her adopted brother. The unfortunate reality was that she knew she would be judged based on her appearance, but Beto faced a different kind of scrutiny altogether. The thought of how other ponies would react upon meeting Beto filled both Polka Plum and her mom with fear.
Beto's not defenseless, that's for sure. He's got some kind of magical ability called... Keys? No Ki. He uses this magic also known as "life energy" to do all sorts of things, like flying, using telekinesis without a horn, and sensing the presence of others.
As the head of the household, Beto would fearlessly protect both his sister and their mother from any potential threat. Speaking of Celestia, Polka caught sight of her brother returning home after selling their harvest, his bag filled with hard-earned bits. "Betoro! You're finally back!"
Betoro raised his gaze and smiled at the sight of his little sister eagerly waving to him. "Hey there, sis!" Betorotto watched as Polka Plum came galloping over to envelop him in a warm hug, and he returned the embrace.
"How have you been, little sister? I can imagine you must have wished you were with me when I was selling our harvest." Betorotto bragged to Polka.
"I do, I really do wish I could have gone with you. Sure, tending to our garden is nice and all, but I would like to be with you for once when you sell our harvests... if not for my 'rare' body. It's not fair that I always have to stay back and miss out on the selling part of our hard work." Polka complained.
Betoro found it amusing that Polka wanted to stay close to her older brother, but he understood that it wasn't his decision to make. In their family's eyes, the world they live in is a dangerous place. That's one of the reasons they've isolated themselves.
In reality, they didn't completely cut themselves off from society. They had to ensure they had access to water, supplies, and a large amount of food, as Betorotto had an incredible appetite and could devour an entire buffet without feeling satisfied. As a result, they came up with a strategy.
They cultivated an expansive garden brimming with a diverse array of fresh vegetables on their property. As soon as their vegetable harvest was plentiful enough for selling, Betorotto would venture out in disguise to various regions of Equestria to barter their produce. After successfully selling their vegetables, he would return home with the earnings, allowing Clover to make essential purchases on their behalf.
And their method of living has worked out well for now.
"Betoro!" Clover ran towards her son with a joyful smile on her face and wrapped him in a tight embrace, showering him with hugs and kisses. After being apart for a while, she couldn't contain her happiness with Betorotto returning home.
"Whenever you're away, I truly feel your absence. Have you already sold our harvest as you've done in the past?" Vine asked.
"Yes, everything has been sold. The only things left in my bag are bits, Mom. Lots of it." Betoro informed Clover.
"Great work, son! You also arrived just in time; I've prepared your all-time favorite meal." Clover said whilst she used her magic to remove the massive bag off Betoro's back.
"Yes! Thyme Steak and Broccoli Cheddar soup." Betorotto dashed indoors eagerly, excited to savor his mouthwatering dinner of juicy thyme-infused steak paired with a velvety, indulgent bowl of broccoli cheddar soup.
When Betorotto stepped into the house, Polka turned to Clover with an eager and hopeful expression. "Mom, you mentioned that you had a surprise planned for us once Betorotto finished selling our final harvest, didn't you?"
"Well yes, I do," Clover answered.
"If that's the case, could I please accompany my brother?" Polka pleaded with her mother, her eyes shining with anticipation.
Clover hesitated to grant her daughter's request to go out with her adopted brother for two compelling reasons. The first was the possibility of the crowd having an aversion to her daughter's appearance in public, and the second was her overwhelming fear of losing her beloved daughter. Nonetheless, she realized that she couldn't keep Polka sheltered forever, and she knew she'd have to let her go at some point. When Clover turned to look at Polka, she saw her daughter giving her a pleading, puppy-dog-eyed expression, hoping to sway her mother's decision.
With a deep breath, she summoned the courage to meet Polka Plum's gaze and began to speak to her about what she had decided.
The following morning arrived, and Betorotto was already wide awake, busy gathering the final harvest of the season. As he worked, he enjoyed munching on a crisp beetroot for breakfast. His large bag was quickly filling up with sacks of grain, carrots, corn, beetroots, potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, onions, and a variety of other freshly harvested vegetables. After plucking the final vegetable from his family's garden, all that was left behind was rich, dark soil.
Yesterday, Betorotto's mother instructed him to wait before setting out to sell their crop. Betorotto patiently lingered outside, where he overheard lively chatter coming from inside the house. He assumed it must be a girlish conversation.
Suddenly, he heard a piercing screech from Polka Plum, followed by a shout of "Hey!" This piqued Betorotto's curiosity, making him wonder what was happening inside.
The front door creaked open, and a mysterious figure emerged from the house, draped in a cloak with the hood pulled low to conceal her identity. Was it Clover Vine or Polka Plum? Betoro's curiosity was soon satisfied when the enigmatic pony addressed him.
"Thank you for waiting, Beto," Polka said, pulling back the hood covering her face. As she unveiled herself, Beto was taken aback. It wasn't just the fact that his sister was underneath the cloak, but it was the transformation of her coat that astonished him. As Polka used her magic to remove the cloak, Beto noticed that the distinctive blue polka dots that had once adorned her coat were now gone. Instead, he saw a glimpse of what Polka Plum would look like if her coat had a regular purple hue.
"Polka Plum?" He whispered, feeling startled. "W-what did you do to your coat," Betoro questioned. "Did you cast a spell onto yourself?!"
"No Beto, this isn't magic, it's just makeup," Polka said, trying to calm Betoro's confusion. "My mom helped me put makeup all over my body to make me look like a normal purple unicorn with no spots. How do I look?"
He paused for a moment, reflecting on her question. His little sister appeared truly stunning, and he couldn't deny it. "You look absolutely gorgeous… but I'm curious, what's the occasion for this?"
"Your sister had requested to accompany you to sell our crops," Clover informed Betorotto. "And I granted permission for her to join you."
Betoro was completely taken aback by his mother's sudden revelation. "You're allowing her to leave the house? You've never done that before?!"
"No, I haven't. That's exactly why I need you to watch over your sister while I step out to buy something that will transform both of your lives. Polka has been isolated for far too long, and it's time for her to start making connections now that she's a young adult like you."
Betorotto strongly disapproves of his mother's decision-making. However, Polka Plum has been confined for too long, and it is time for her to join society. It now becomes clear why Polka took the time to cover all the spots on her fur with makeup.
"However, there was still one issue to address. How do we hide Polka's tail? I hope not with makeup."
"Nope. I will be wearing this cloak at all times, as it will allow me to cover my tail," Polka explained.
Betorotto found himself in a situation where he had no other option but to bring his sister, Polka Plum, with him while he sold their crop. This placed a great deal of responsibility on Betorotto, as he felt the need to protect his sister from the harsh realities of the world. He was deeply concerned, knowing that the outcome of this situation was unlikely to be positive.
"Alright then," Betorotto said. He turned to Clover Vine and asked his mom, "Do you want us to meet up back at the house?"
Clover lightly shook her head and said, "Actually, I would appreciate it if you two could meet me in the Everfree Forest after you finish selling our crop."
Betoro and Polka were deeply puzzled. They had both studied the map of Equestria, and they knew that the distance from their current location in the Forbidden Jungle to the Everfree Forest was incredibly vast. And Betorotto has yet to go that far.
"That's incredibly far, Mom. I know you want to surprise both Beto and me with something, but that is very far for the both of us," Polka replied, feeling a bit nervous about what their mom had planned and how long it would take for them to get there.
"I understand that what I'm asking of both of you may feel overwhelming to take on alone. But please believe me, it will be worth it in the end." Clover said to be loved children.
Betorotto continued to find himself hesitating about whether to go along with his mother's plan. However, he couldn't ignore the fact that his mother, had always been a trustworthy and guiding mother. Despite the realization that this journey would be longer than his usual ones, Betorotto eventually made up his mind to trust his mother's plan.
"Okay, mom. I'll do what you're asking of me if you think it'll be worth it in the end," Betoro said with a hopeful smile.
"Thank you, Betorotto."
"Wait! Don't I get a saying in this?!" Polka seemed uncertain and hesitant about the decision-making.
"Technically, you made your decision when you wanted to go with Betorotto, Polka," Clover said smugly to her daughter. "You basically automatically said yes to my plan anyway."
"I-I... I didn't..." Polka's forehead glistened with sweat as she expressed her dissatisfaction with the plan. "I REGRET WANTING TO JOIN YOU, BETO!!!" Polka whined, resigned to the fact that she had no other option but to go along with the situation.
Betorotto and Polka Plum savored every moment as they bid their mother farewell, exchanging heartfelt hugs and kisses. With a bittersweet goodbye, Betorotto set off with his sister by his side to sell their crop. They watched as their mother also left the house, her face adorned with a gentle smile, heading in the opposite direction.
'Take care of yourself, Mom, until we meet again,' Betoro murmured to himself as he and Polka journeyed into the unknown.

I hope you all enjoyed the character development I created for my original characters. I know there isn't any action yet or the group meeting the Mane 6, but don't worry, it will come. I'm building it up as I create the story. If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know in the comment section below.
And again...don’t worry. Because in the next chapter, Betorotto will bring out his Saiyan rage and powers.

Ch 3: Rage of a Saiyan
It's been hours since Betoro and Polka Plum left their home, and Polka's hatred for the desert grows with every passing moment. The relentless sun beats down, causing her body to feel like it's boiling, while the sweltering air makes her constantly perspire. The seemingly endless expanse of sand creates the disconcerting illusion that they might be moving in circles.
'Why did I choose for us to go into the Bone Dry Desert?' Polka grumbled quietly to herself, feeling the parched sensation in her throat intensify. She longed for a refreshing drink of water.
As she glanced at Betoro, she couldn't help but wonder if her eyes were deceiving her. Despite the oppressive heat of the sun, her brother seemed completely unfazed. He strode on as if the harsh conditions of the desert were of no concern to him, while she struggled and wilted in the relentless sun.
Betorotto noticed that Polka Plum gazed at him with a puzzled expression on her face. "What?" Betorotto inquired, feeling uncertain about his sister's thoughts.
"You... look... completely... normal."
"Uh, yeah. Why wouldn't I be?"
That's when Betoro noticed Polka looked extremely thirsty, so he quickly grabbed his water sack and handed it to his sister. Polka's mouth fell open in shock at this. "You had... water,... this entire... TIME?! Why... didn't you... say anything?"
"You didn't ask and by the looks of it, you really need water."
As Polka gazed at the water sack in Beto's hands, her mouth began to salivate. Without a moment's hesitation, she swiftly snatched the water sack from her brother's grasp and took a long, refreshing swig. As she lowered the sack, she couldn't help but let out a contented sigh.
"Satisfied?"
"Yeah," Polka had finally quenched her thirst and was able to take a moment to rest and cool off. However, the group still had to locate the city that was rumored to be in the vicinity. "But how much farther must we travel? My hooves are beginning to hurt," Polka expressed with a tinge of weariness.
"Don't worry, sis. In fact, we are here." Betoro's words prompted Polka to hurry forward and reach the city to confirm her brother's claim, which turned out to be accurate.
"What is this place?" Polka asked her Saiyan Brother.
"It's called 'Klugetown,' and I thought I would never see this place again," Betorotto said in a disgusted tone.
"It seems like you are holding onto some negative feelings about this place. But if I recall correctly, you mentioned that this is only your second time here. It can't be all that terrible, can it?"
Betoro turned to make eye contact with Polka Plum and said, "Klugetown is a settlement of the Bone Dry Desert and far beyond the borders of Equestria. This means any regulations of Equestria will not be here. And don't get me even started with the merchandiser of this place."
"Ook," Polka examined the image closely, realizing that this location was no good. The acknowledgment filled her with a profound sense of disappointment.
As they approached the city, Betoro and Polka Plum knew they had to disguise themselves. "Is the makeup still hiding my spots?" Polka worried, unsure if her blue spots were still concealed.
Betorotto meticulously checked every area of his sister's body, ensuring that the makeup effectively concealed Polka's characteristic blue spots on her fur. "Yeah, you're all good, sis," Betoro remarked reassuringly.
As Polka fastened her cloak around her shoulders, she observed her brother, Betoro, mirroring her actions. As he secured the cloak around his frame, his long tail coiled around his waist, resembling a rugged belt fashioned from rope. With their cloaks in place and their hoods on, they proceeded to enter the bustling city of Klugetown.
Polka had anticipated seeing other ponies, but to her surprise, the place was devoid of any equines. Instead, it was populated by pigs, fish people, and a variety of other strange beings. Fortunately, Polka found comfort in having Betoro by her side, knowing that he would help shield her from any potential threats.
As the undercover unicorn and Equusbound Saiyan strolled through the bustling street markets of Klugetown in disguise, Polka carefully observed the eclectic array of goods on display. The items being sold were truly peculiar, sending shivers down Polka's spine at the mere sight.
After eventually locating a suitable spot to showcase their produce, they commenced peddling their farm-fresh vegetables to a diverse gathering of customers. In exchange for their wares, both Betorotto and Polka received gleaming golden bits from the various creatures in attendance. Amidst the hustle and bustle of Klugetown, one shining aspect stood out of this place, and that is the profit collected from each vegetable trade.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the land in shades of deep orange and purple, Polka and Beto began preparing for their arduous journey to the Evertree Forest, the place their mother had instructed them to rendezvous. Just as they were about to set off, Polka noticed something odd in the distance.
Figures were approaching, and they seemed to be making a beeline for Polka and Beto. Betorotto spotted them too and swiftly motioned for his sister to take cover behind him. When the mysterious, reptilian-looking figures drew within fifteen feet, Betorotto stepped forward to engage them in conversation.
"Good evening. I regret to inform you that our vegetable supply has been fully sold. If you require fresh produce, I would recommend exploring alternative markets for your needs. Thank you for your understanding."
The reptilian-looking figures wore sinister grins as they chuckled, sending a chill down Betorotto's spine. It was clear that they had more nefarious intentions than simply taking their crop.
"Thank you for the offer, but we're not here for your greens," one of the figures sneered. "We've taken notice of your substantial earnings, and we have a little proposition for you. How about you share some of that wealth with us and you'll be on your way. Just so we're clear, it's not a request."
"If you are looking for money, get a job! This is our earnings for working and tending to our garden. And we aren't going to give you these bits just because you demanded us, guppy."
The eerie grins that had once adorned the face of the reptilian-like figure twisted into horrifying scowls. Beto had hit a nerve when he refused to hand over the trinkets. It was at that moment they brandished their daggers, sending shivers down Polka Plum's spine.
"If you won't willingly share the goods, we'll just have to take them by force," one of the reptilian-like figures menacingly spoke to the Saiyan. "You shouldn't have returned here, chimpanzee. Now, we'll be taking those precious golden bananas, one way or another."
Betoro faced the reptilian-like figures with a smirk and a bold statement. "You can go ahead and try, amphibians, but once I'm finished with all of you, you'll be nothing but salmon."
That got reptilian-like figures so furious that one of them charged at Betoro shouting, "We aren't amphibians! We are reptiles!" He hollered.
The reptilian-like figure lunged at the Saiyan with his menacing dagger, but Betorotto swiftly evaded the attack. With a swift motion, Betorotto disarmed the creature, sending the blade clattering away. Stunned, the reptilian figure turned to face Betorotto, only to be met with a powerful punch that rendered him unconscious.
"Get him!" the other reptilian-like figures bellowed as they charged towards Betorotto. Betorotto swiftly shed his cloak in response, hurling it at the oncoming attackers. As the cloak enveloped their faces, temporarily blinding them, Betorotto seized the opportunity and engaged them in combat.
Even though he detests starting conflicts, he has rigorously honed his Saiyan physique in preparation for any potential danger. With remarkable agility, he swiftly disarmed each reptilian adversary, deftly incapacitating them with a series of powerful blows. When one of the reptiles attempted to strike back with a recovered dagger, he overwhelmed his foe with a relentless barrage of lightning-fast punches, swiftly neutralizing the threat.
This maneuver, which he named "Meteoric Fists," proved as effective as it was awe-inspiring. As the last remaining reptile attempted to ambush him, Betoro unleashed his "Multiple Flaming Roundhouse Kick," searing his opponent with a scorching burn that propelled the reptile into a nearby building, ensuring that it would not rise again.
That's when he remembered that there were five reptiles there. Where was the fifth one? That's when he heard Polka cry out to him.
As he turned towards his sister, a chilling sight awaited him. The final reptile gripped Polka Plum's tail, suspending her in the air with none of her hooves touching the ground. This sight fueled Betorotto's anger, propelling him to step forward.
"How dare you hold my sister by her tail! Let her go, now!"
At that moment, the reptile brandished a second dagger, positioning it dangerously close to Polka's tail. "Don't move. Or your pony companion will bid farewell to her tail if you do."
Polka was on the verge of panic as she found herself sprawled in mid-air, struggling to break free from the powerful grip of the reptile. Despite her desperate efforts, she couldn't free herself. "Please, let me go... I don't want to lose my tail!"
"Keep struggling and you will." The reptile threatened.
Betorotto found himself with no other option but to go along with the reptile's demands. "Alright, I won't budge, but please release my sister," Betorotto implored, hoping that the reptile would see reason. However, the reptile's response was far from what Betorotto had hoped for.
"Apologies, but judging by your strength, I think I'll continue holding onto your sister's tail," the reptile smirked at Betorotto. "I have two requests for you first, and then I'll release your sister."
"I presume one of those requests involves handing over our money to you, am I correct?"
"Absolutely on the money, Chimpanzee! And the other request is that." As Betorotto turned, an unexpected punch to the face sent him crashing to the ground. Without warning, one of the reptiles launched a fierce attack on Beto.
"BETORO!" Polka shouted for her brother that have been brought down.
"Teach that Chimpanzee a lesson to never deny us again."
The air crackled with tension as the fearsome reptile, having brought down Beto with a single strike, poised to strike once more. But just as it lunged, a brilliant, magical beam lanced out, felling the creature in a single blow.
The source of the unexpected attack was none other than an enraged Polka Plum, held aloft by the reptile gripping her tail. "Enough!" she cried, before kicking out at the reptile's chest with all her might.
As the reptile reeled from the blow, Polka's voice cut through the air, filled with defiance. "Perhaps I should've taken your tail when I had the chance."
"Leave us alone!" Polka shouted, jumping into the air, and gathering energy for another attack. Suddenly, the reptile delivered a sucker punch to Polka's face, knocking her to the ground.
Betorotto's eyes widened in shock as he watched the scene unfold. Polka lay motionless on the ground. It was hard to believe that the reptile had just done what Betorotto thought it had.
"You... hurt my sister..." Betoro growled through gritted teeth, his eyes blazing with anger. It was an unfamiliar feeling, but the rage consumed him entirely. "No one... hurts... MY... SISTER!!!!!"
A deafening scream erupted from Betoro, echoing through the streets of Klugetown and sending shockwaves through the air. As the intensity of his fury grew, the temperature rose, creating a stifling heat that enveloped the area.
The reptiles, along with the recovering individuals, watched in a mix of awe and terror as a wave of Saiyan rage overtook the scene. Even Polka, in her regained consciousness, was astonished as she witnessed her usually calm and loving older brother succumb to an unprecedented fit of anger. The transformation into this frightening state left her utterly petrified.
Betorotto's piercing screams came to an abrupt halt, but a striking change had overcome him. His once ordinary form now radiated a brilliant yellow glow, his eyes shimmered with a vivid green hue, and his previously maroon hair had transformed into a mesmerizing shade of bright, golden yellow, turning Betoro into a blondie. However, there was no joy in this transformation - his countenance exuded nothing but deep-seated anger.
Betorotto swiftly intercepted the reptile's desperate blow, seizing its fist with ease. The heat emanating from Betorotto's hand was so intense that the reptile's own fist began to feel as though it were engulfed in flames. After a moment, Betorotto released its grip, and the reptile's hand was left steaming.
"He's radiating heat! How is he even doing that?!?" Despite the fear brewing inside them, they steeled themselves and charged at Betoro. However, Betoro was prepared for each of them.
Betoro effortlessly evaded the reptiles' attacks, as they were simply too sluggish to catch him. He swiftly landed a punch on one of the reptiles and simultaneously kicked two others. Betoro then launched a powerful ki blast that sent one of the reptiles hurtling back to the ground, leaving only one remaining – the one who had dared to punch his sister.
Betorotto cautiously approached the intimidating reptile, but stumbled and fell backwards in fear. "Wait please, I'm sorry, spare me!" pleaded the reptile, sensing the imminent danger.
Gathering his inner energy, Betorotto focused his ki into a brilliant sphere in his palm. With determination in his eyes, he lifted his charged arm, ready to unleash a devastating attack on the vulnerable reptile. However, as he released the concentrated energy, a mysterious force took hold of his arm, redirecting the ki beam into the sky, causing it to split the clouds as it soared upwards.
Betoro stood frozen as a shimmering cyan aura enveloped his outstretched arm, preventing him from unleashing his powerful beam directly on his target. Startled, he turned to find his sister, Polka Plum, with her horn aglow, using her magic to restrain him from striking down the reptile. Seizing the opportunity, the reptile regained its footing and urgently signaled to the others.
"Now's our chance, flee! The treasure doesn't matter anymore!" With that, the reptiles scattered in all directions, leaving only Betoro and Polka Plum behind.
As Polka's magical aura faded, she released her hold on Betoro and approached him with a mixture of fear and concern etched on her face. Despite her determination, Polka's fragile state was evident as she struggled to remain upright, and she would have succumbed to the ground if Betoro hadn't caught her in his arms. Even in this terrifying form, Polka's loving brother still remained.
Betoro's appearance had undergone a surprising detransformation. His once blonde hair had reverted back to its original maroon color, his green eyes had changed back to normal, and the intense heat that surrounded him had dissipated. Concerned for his sister, Betoro's focus was entirely on Polka, who was relieved to see that her brother's abrupt change had not resulted in harm to her.
"I'm okay," Polka reassured him, her eyes reflecting a mix of emotions as she leaned into her brother's chest. At that moment, she had feared that Betoro had turned into a monstrous entity, but she was now grateful to realize that it was still her protective older brother by her side. "Please, you have to tell me how you did that."
Betoro gazed at his sister, Polka, her eyes filled with a mixture of tears and curiosity. A moment of silence hung in the air before Betoro finally responded to her question. "To be honest, I don't have the answer," he admitted.
"Deep within the minds of both Polka Plum and Betorotto, a single mysterious question remained, shrouded in intrigue. What was the secret behind that elusive, golden-haired transformation? And why had it remained concealed in the depths of Betorotto's existence until this moment?"

Ch 4: Traveling through Air
An hour has passed since Betoro had undergone that mysterious transformation. As Polka Plum waited for her brother to conclude his conversation with an unidentified individual, she kept a watchful eye on their hard-earned gold bits, all the while gently massaging her face to alleviate the discomfort caused by the reptilian creature that had punched her.
Her attention shifted as Betoro wrapped up his discussion with a cat adorned in a striking red coat. The feline departed, leaving behind a portion of the bits that Betoro had given him. "Alright, Polka, let's make our way," Betoro said, signaling that it was time to depart.
"Where are we heading?" Polka inquired, trying to conceal her discomfort. However, Betoro noticed her unease, but he decided to address her question first.
"We are heading to the Everfree Forest. Normally, it would take us days to reach there on foot. However, with the help of a feline companion, we received a small airship to expedite our journey," Betoro explained.
Polka's spirits lifted upon hearing this. Not only were they finally leaving the confines of the city, but they also had the luxury of an airship to swiftly transport them to the Everfree Forest. This meant they could avoid the arduous days of travel on foot, carrying their heavy load of hard-earned gold.
As the first light of dawn began to filter through the sky, Betoro expertly guided the airship while Polka, his sister, sat beside him. Their destination, the Everfree Forest, seemed closer than ever as the small vessel sped through the air, cutting down the travel time from days to just 18 hours. Exhausted from their long journey from home to Klugetown, the siblings could finally find some much-needed rest.
In the dim light of the early morning, Betoro stirred from his sleep, roused by the sound of his sister's gentle movements. He gradually opened his eyes to see Polka softly massaging her face.
Betoro could tell that Polka was clearly uncomfortable, and couldn't ignore it. When Beto stood up, Polka noticed and gingerly lowered her hoof away from her face. As Betorotto rose to his feet, he turned to his sister with concern in his eyes.
"Polka, are you alright?"
Polka winced, realizing her brother could see through her attempt to hide her discomfort. She didn't want to worry him, so she tried to deny it. "Um, no, it's nothing, really."
Betoro knelt down to meet Polka at eye level, his voice soft and filled with concern. "You don't have to keep your pain hidden. I can help you heal," he reassured her.
Polka, however, remained skeptical about her brother's ability to alleviate her pain. "I appreciate you trying to help, but I don't think anyone can simply make the pain disappear," she replied. "It would take a truly skilled unicorn to do that."
"Or perhaps a Saiyan with Ki abilities, like me," Betoro interjected, completing Polka's thought for her.
Before Polka could respond, doubt, or express her surprise at the idea that Beto's Ki could relieve her pain, Betoro extended his arm and opened his palm. With a focused look, Betoro channeled his ki energy to heal Polka Plum's entire body from head to hooves. Suddenly, Polka realized that the pain in her face had vanished as she gently touched her own face with her forelegs.
"Beto, your ki can really heal others?" Polka inquired, turning to her big brother. "Why didn't you use this power when I accidentally hurt myself multiple times all those years of living with you?"
"Don't worry. I only recently gained this ability to heal. It's a new power that allows me to treat certain injuries, although it might take me longer to heal near-fatal ones," Beto assured her.
Polka was curious. "What do you mean?" she asked.
Betoro explained, "My healing power isn't fast enough to instantly heal serious wounds. Once, a Bugbear scratched my chest so deeply that it took half an hour to heal the injury. Now, it's become a permanent scar." Betoro showed Polka the scar on his chest.
Polka was shocked by the size of the scar. It was quite large. "Whoa... that must have been incredibly painful," she exclaimed.
"Indeed it did," Betoro replied.
Polka felt a mix of sympathy and relief after learning that her brother was safe despite getting injured. She was grateful that Beto had used his healing powers to ease her pain. "Thank you for healing me, Beto. I was uncertain how long I would have to endure the pain in my face without your new healing abilities. I know you don't technically use magic, but your powers are truly remarkable," Polka expressed her gratitude.
"Yes, my healing powers are no longer new, but what I did back in Klugetown is something even more recent," Beto explained, his gaze fixed on the ground as he sat beside Polka.
Polka was taken aback by Betoro's statement. "What are you saying? Are you implying that this was the first instance when your hair turned yellow like that?" Polka inquired.
"Wait, my hair changed color while I was in that state? I always thought it was just my inner energy and ki that transformed," Betoro said, now questioning himself. He had been unaware that his physical appearance had altered while in that state.
"Yeah, your hair did turn yellow. Hold on a second. What do you mean by your ki and energy changing?" Polka asked, curious about what other transformations occurred when Betoro transitioned to a yellow state.
"Well, from my perspective, I felt my energy surge to levels higher than I had ever experienced before. My strength and ki were amplified as if I had shattered my own limitations for a brief moment. When my transformation ended, so did my heightened abilities," Betoro elaborated.
"It was like tapping into a reservoir of power that I never knew existed. Even though it's no longer manifest, I can still sense its presence within me. Did anything else transpire while I was in my yellow form?" Betoro inquired of Polka.
Polka recalled one significant occurrence during Beto's transformation. It was the surge of rage that propelled her brother to launch a fierce attack against the reptiles. "Yes, there was one more thing," she replied.
"What was it?" Betoro inquired, curious to know more about what occurred during his transformation.
"When that lizard punched me, you became furious. Your anger escalated into a rage that continued to mount until it seemed you were about to do something terrible," Polka explained, displaying genuine concern for Betoro, especially since he couldn't recall anything after his transformation ended.
Betoro could only manage to say, "Oh." He knew he was a skilled fighter, but he held a firm stance against taking a life. Fortunately, his sister intervened before he could act on his impulse. "Thank you for preventing me from killing that reptile, and I apologize if I frightened you."
"It's fine, it was just... unexpected. I've witnessed your anger before, but yesterday was unlike anything I've seen from you. It's not like you, Betoro, especially considering how kind-hearted you are," remarked Polka as she regarded her brother with concern.
"You're right. It seems that there's still much for me to discover about myself. I'll need to dedicate myself to further training to master that form," Betoro remarked.
"Wait, you're thinking of attempting to access that formidable form again? What if you lose control once more, or worse," Polka interjected, her voice tinged with deep anxiety. She couldn't bear the thought of her brother going through the same harrowing experience as in Klugetown.
"The loss of control occurred when I first tapped into that form. I wasn't prepared for it, but with diligent training, I believe I can gain command over it, Polka. Furthermore, I believe it could prove to be quite useful," Betoro explained.
Polka was still hesitant about the idea, but seeing her brother's determination to better himself reassured her about Beto's safety. "Well, okay. Even though I'm not entirely comfortable with this, I trust you, Beto."
Betoro's face lit up with a smile as he saw his sister's trust in him. "Great! It's still early, so why don't we catch some more sleep before morning comes?" he suggested to Polka.
Polka settled back onto her side of the deck and shut her eyes. "That sounds like a good idea. I'll see you in the morning, Beto," she said softly before drifting off to sleep.
Betoro lay sprawled on his side of the deck, his steady breaths signaling his deep slumber. As he drifted into the realm of dreams, his thoughts lingered on the uncertainties of the next day and what it might bring for him and his sister. The gentle sway of the airship and the hum of its engines formed a soothing backdrop as Betoro succumbed to slumber.
The passing hours melted into a hazy slumber, enveloping Betoro and Polka in a profound state of rest. A sudden jolt roused Betoro from his peaceful repose as the airship careened too close to a rain cloud, dousing him with an unexpected cascade of cold water. Shocked and shivering, he sprang upright, his startled voice echoing through the airship as he mistook the water for a prank from his sister.
"Hey! Don't spray the hose at me, Polka!" Betoro's indignant shout filled the air, rousing Polka from her own deep sleep as she jolted awake, caught off guard by her brother's sudden outburst.
"What hose?! We aren't even home! And why are you wet," exclaimed Polka, puzzled by Beto's condition.
Before Beto could utter a word, his eyes widened and he abruptly stood up. "Polka! Jump!" he urgently commanded.
Polka gazed at her brother in confusion as he leaped off the small airship. It wasn't until she followed his gaze and saw the four elongated heads looming before them that she understood. "OH!"
As they leaped, the airship collided with the towering heads, causing the flying craft to splinter and crash into the dark waters of Froggy Bottom Bog. Though shaken, they emerged from the wreckage unscathed, drenched in murky swamp water. Gasping for air, they both struggled to the surface.
While Betoro was dazed by the impact, Polka coughed and sputtered as she tried to expel the foul-tasting water from her mouth. "Ugh! That water was revolting!" Polka exclaimed before her brother swiftly covered her mouth and pulled her out of the water, hiding them from the view of the lurking monster.
"What is that creature?" Polka whispered in fear, staring at the massive four-headed monster in front of them.
"It's a Hydra," Betorotto explained solemnly. "A monstrous creature with multiple heads. I've encountered one of these beasts before... and some say that if you cut off one of its heads, two more will grow in its place, making the creature even more formidable."
Polka's heart skipped a beat as she absorbed that unsettling fact. She was relieved that the Hydra's attention was on them. But what was triggering the Hydra's intense stare?
"Who cares? RUN !" A voice pierced through the chaos, followed by the cacophony of terrified screams.
The siblings edged closer, careful to remain concealed from the Hydra's piercing gaze. As they peered from their hiding place, they spotted a trembling pink earth pony, frozen in fear. Their shock intensified as they witnessed the Hydra poised to make the pony its meal. Beto was on the brink of revealing their hiding spot, but then they heard a voice calling out to the distressed pony.
"Pinkie! Come on!" The sound of urgent shouts filled the air as another mare desperately called out to someone named Pinkie. Despite their efforts, they couldn't locate the elusive pony. Suddenly, a lavender Unicorn appeared in the line of sight of Betoro and Polka Plum. With impeccable timing, the unicorn bit onto Pinkie's tail and swiftly galloped away from the menacing Hydra just as one of its heads lunged down in an attempt to capture the unsuspecting Pinkie.
Watching the unicorn valiantly rescue Pinkie filled Polka with relief, while Betoro stood in awe of the unicorn's bravery and appearance. He was captivated by her courage, beauty, and poise. At that moment, all he could utter in astonishment was, "Who is that mare?"

Twilight, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Spike sprinted frantically, their hooves kicking up mud and water as they fled from the monstrous Hydra. The creature's multiple heads snapped and lunged, each one aiming to seize its elusive prey. With nimble maneuvers, the ponies dodged and weaved, narrowly avoiding the deadly strikes.
Unseen by both the Hydra and the frantic group, Betoro and Polka Plum observed from their hidden vantage point. Their hearts raced with concern for the imperiled ponies and the young dragon. However, Betoro's gaze was fixated on the lavender unicorn. There was an inexplicable magnetism in her presence that drew his attention, leaving him captivated in a way he couldn't comprehend.
The small pony found herself at a dead end, surrounded by towering walls with no apparent escape. However, as she turned to her right, her eyes landed on a massive hill. Gathering her courage, she urged everyone to follow her up the imposing slope with a resolute cry, "Everypony, up that hill!"
As all eyes turned to her, a sudden cry for "He-e-elp!" pierced the air. It was the little baby dragon, struggling and on the brink of drowning in the murky waters of the swamp. A menacing Hydra was closing in on the helpless creature, ready to strike.
"Coming, Spike! Hang on!" Twilight called out to Spike, urging him to hold on as she raced back to rescue her baby dragon from imminent danger. When she reached Spike, she plunged her head into the murky swamp and lifted Spike onto her head while risking her own safety. Blinded by the mud, she managed to escape just in time, narrowly avoiding the snapping jaws of the Hydra.
Meanwhile, Betoro, hidden from view, summoned all his energy to launch a powerful 'ki blast' into the muddy water. The projectile struck the spot where the Hydra was about to step, causing the creature to become momentarily trapped in the swamp. This gave the fleeing unicorn the advantage for Twilight and her group of ponies to make a successful escape up the hill.
After the intense situation had seemingly passed, Polka turned to Betoro and commended him, saying, "Nice shot... you gave the group the opportunity to flee and survive."
"Thank you. However, we should make our way up the hill to check if they managed to escape. Judging by the Hydra's movements, it seems to be scaling the hill," Betoro remarked.
"Agreed. Let's proceed... discreetly," replied Polka, carefully maneuvering through the foliage to remain unseen.
Meanwhile, on the incline of the hill, the ponies gasped in shock as they observed the Hydra ascending the mountain. Twilight let out a cry before managing to form a coherent sentence. "Ugh, he'll be up here in no time! Quick, one at a time, cross!"
As Spike swiftly zips up to the edge, his momentum propels him dangerously close to the brink. In a moment of panic, he lets out a yell, manages to regain his balance, and then pivots to face Twilight. "Uh, do you know any spells for turning a hydra into a mouse?"
"No."
"How about a squirrel?"
"No!"
"How 'bout—"
"No small rodents of any kind!"
"That's too bad."
As each group member took turns leaping onto the pillars, Betoro and Polka finally reached the top. From there, they saw Fluttershy and Spike safely on the other side of the gorge. Meanwhile, Applejack was struggling to help Pinkie across the pillars, and Twilight appeared to be preparing to confront the Hydra.
Betoro sensed Twilight's intentions. "I have a feeling that unicorn is going to charge at the Hydra," he remarked to Polka.
Polka gasped at her brother's prediction. "If she does, the Hydra will surely devour her!" she exclaimed quietly.
"Don't worry. Go and guide her to jump onto the stone pillars to safety," Betoro told her as he readied himself.
Polka looked at her brother with concern when she saw him preparing to face the Hydra. "And what are you going to do, Beto? Wait... you're not going to fight that Hydra, are you?" she asked, recoiling in fear.
Beto turned to his little sister and, with a smirk on his face, reassured her, "Don't worry, Polka Plum, I can handle myself. Besides, I've faced far more terrifying monsters than Hydras before."
As Twilight bravely shouted "CHAAARRRGE!!", all four heads of the terrifying Hydra suddenly turned towards her. Despite her inner fear, she did not waver and continued her course. Suddenly, she noticed a figure leap from behind the Hydra and deliver a powerful blow to the back of the creature, causing all four heads to crash to the ground and bringing Twilight to an abrupt stop.
Twilight was taken aback as she gazed at the figure that had just delivered a powerful blow to the monster. The mysterious being stood upright, clad in a dark maroon sleeveless shirt and long arthritis gloves, with gray karate gis pants with a brown scarf between his legs, purple shoes, and a striking purple charoite beads necklace adorning his neck. His hair, a light maroon color, was noticeable, as was his peculiar tail, resembling that of a monkey, the color matching his hair, although Twilight couldn't discern if it was real.
As the tension mounted, Twilight was on the verge of inquiring about the identity and nature of the mysterious figure, but before she could speak, the Hydra's head abruptly lifted and redirected its fierce glare from Twilight to Betoro. A low growl reverberated from the creature as Betoro boldly taunted, "If you're looking for a meal, you'll have to do better with me!" With these words, he executed an agile backflip and launched himself off the Hydra, goading the furious beast into a relentless pursuit.
As Twilight prepared to follow, she felt a tug on her tail, forcing her to stop and turn around. To her surprise, a plum-purple unicorn with magnificent blue spots all over her body held her tail in her mouth. This unicorn's striking purple mane and a cutie mark resembling a plum made her stand out, but the most unusual feature was her leonine tail, which was highly uncommon for a unicorn.
Polka released Twilight and turned to face her. "Come on, he's given you an opportunity to get away. Let's go," Polka urged, gently leading Twilight back toward the hill.
"Wait, I don't understand. Who are you? And who is he? Is he connected to you in some way, like a friend?" Twilight inquired.
"Not a friend... but family," Polka replied solemnly.
Betoro faced off against the menacing Hydra, allowing one of its heads to lunge at him. With incredible agility, the Equusbound Saiyan effortlessly dodged the attack and sent the massive head flying away. As the second head aimed for him, Betoro used his bare hands to hold its gaping mouth at bay, showing tremendous strength. When the other two heads lunged at him, Betoro swiftly leaped out of harm's way, causing the Hydra heads to collide with each other in a chaotic tangle.
As he soared through the air, Betoro unleashed a rapid barrage of ki blasts, targeting the Hydra with precision. "Take that, you beast!" The Hydra was momentarily subdued, granting Betoro a brief respite before the inevitable next round of combat.
Meanwhile, amidst the intense battle, Pinkie shouted for Twilight, who along with Polka, was making determined leaps from one stone pillar to the next, gradually closing the distance to where the rest of the group had gathered.
As Twilight and her friends reached safety on the other side, Polka urgently turned back and called out to her brother. "Beto! You need to get out of there, now!" she shouted, her voice filled with concern.
Upon hearing his sister's warning, Betoro realized that they had made it to safety and there was no need to continue battling the furious Hydra. He began sprinting uphill, but to his astonishment, the Hydra regained its strength and started pursuing the Equusbound Saiyan with even greater ferocity. Betorotto was taken aback as he saw one of the Hydra's heads lunging towards him, and he made a quick, evasive leap to dodge the attack, causing the head to smash into the cliff's edge, sending rubble flying.
As the Hydra's head struck the first stepping-stone pillar, the stone pillar toppled over, causing a chain reaction that knocked down three more pillars like a line of dominoes. Betoro gazed at the now impassable gap and uttered, "Well... that's not so good." Despite the daunting sight, he knew it was not impossible for him to jump across.
As he started to retreat, he heard the furious roar of the Hydra that had attempted to strike him. Observing Betoro's retreat, Twilight turned to Polka and inquired, "Hey uhm... he's not seriously planning to jump... right?"
Polka looked at Betoro as he stopped his retreat and prepared himself to run. "Yeah... He is," Polka replied to Twilight.
Twilight gasped and was taken aback by Polka's response, causing her to quickly shift her focus back to Betoro. "Whoever you are, don't jump! You'll never make it!" she exclaimed, desperately hoping to prevent the Saiyan from attempting the perilous leap.
"He's got no other choice," Pinkie remarked, her voice trembling with her shuddering.
With determination in his eyes, Betoro prepared himself. In an instant, he charged forward, building momentum for the daring jump. As he soared through the air, the sinister Hydra heads lurched towards him, poised to consume him.
The group collectively held their breath, fearing the worst. However, Betoro surprised everyone, save for Polka Plum, with a shocking and unexpected move.
Betoro gracefully twisted his body mid-leap, locking eyes with the menacing Hydra heads only a few feet away. "Hungry, are we? Then why don't you eat this!" he taunted, as an intense energy began to emanate from his palms, casting a red ethereal glow.
"HOT... RED... SPHERES!!!" Betoro fired four ki blasts in each of the Hydra's mouths. While it seemed to do nothing at first, the heads of the Hydra started to turn bright red as they also sweated. Then all of a sudden, the Hydra's mouth burst into flames as they were figuratively and literally on fire as it was too spicy for them to handle.
The team stood in disbelief as they witnessed the extraordinary abilities of the creature, although Polka was unfazed as she was already familiar with Betoro's remarkable powers. Twilight, on the other hand, or hoof, was mesmerized as she gazed upon the Equusbound Saiyan. Her eyes shimmered in admiration as she pondered, 'Who could this creature be?'
Meanwhile, Betoro amusedly observed the Hydra's struggle with the spicy situation before effortlessly leaping to safety by latching onto a stone pillar and propelling himself across the cliff. As the Hydra hastily fled in search of water to soothe its fiery mouth, the group remained astonished by the incredible display of powers Betoro was able to do.
Polka dashed over to her brother and enveloped him in a tight, emotional hug. Betoro returned the embrace, creating a heartwarming moment between them. "I'm so relieved you're safe, Beto."
"I told you not to worry, sis," Betoro reassured her, holding her tightly.
As they lingered in their embrace, the group of ponies couldn't help but ponder the identities of the unfamiliar unicorn and creature. Applejack leaned over to whisper a question to Twilight. "Hey, Twilight, who in tarnation are these two?" Applejack inquired.
"I don't know... I'm unfamiliar with this creature. I've never encountered anything like it in my research or studies," Twilight said quietly. If she hadn't been rescued from facing the Hydra, she would have been terrified of this enigmatic being, but she remained composed in its presence.
"Um, hello. My name is Twilight Sparkle, and I want to thank you for assisting in taking over for me with the Hydra back there," Twilight said to Saiyan, still feeling a bit anxious.
"You're welcome," Betorotto said warmly. "And nice to meet you Twilight. My name is Betorotto."
"Betorotto?" Applejack questioned, raising an eyebrow. "That's quite a mouthful, don't ya think?"
"Yeah, it's my given name," Betorotto explained. "My mom and sister decided to call me Betoro or Beto for short." He added, "The full name was kinda hard to say, which is why most would prefer to say my short name."
"Yeah, I can see why. I'm Pinkie Pie and I really like the part when you made that Hydra have a spicy mouth. It was so cool!"
"Thank you, Pinkie. It's a pleasure to meet you. And what's your name?" Betoro inquired as he looked at the shy yellow pegasus.
"I'm... uhm... Fluttershy and..." She hesitated but then she noticed Betoro's tail. "Is that a real monkey tail? Is it actually a part of you?" Fluttershy asked, her gaze fixed on the unusual red appendage on Betoro's rear end.
"Uh... yeah, it's been a part of me since the day I was born. Why do you want to know?" Betoro inquired, curious about Fluttershy's sudden interest.
"Well, I'm familiar with all the creatures of Equestria, and I've never encountered anything quite like you before. What exactly are you?" Fluttershy inquired, her curiosity piqued.
"Oh, my brother is known as a 'Saiyan.' Although we're not entirely sure what a Saiyan is, he is a bipedal being with a tail similar to that of a monkey, and he possesses incredible abilities," Polka explained to the group of ponies, shedding some light on the mysterious creature.
"A Saiyan, huh? Never heard that before," said Applejack. "I'm Applejack, by the way. And who are you?"
"Oh. I'm Polka Plum. Nice to meet you guys," replied Polka as she extended a hoof. As she introduced herself, the group of ponies exchanged curious glances, silently wondering about the origin of her intriguing name.
"Let me guess. The reason your name is Polka Plum is because your body is filled with blue polka dots?" Twilight inquired, studying the unicorn's fur for any signs of confirmation.
As Polka examined herself, she noticed that the makeup concealing her spots had worn off, revealing her bright blue polka-dot fur against her purple coat. "I guess my name fits with these dots," Polka mused. "Do I stand out in a strange way to you all?" Her initially cheerful expression faltered, giving way to an anxious look.
Upon seeing this, Applejack stepped forward and was the first to reassure her. "No, not at all, sugar cube. You don't look strange. You look... unique," Applejack said in a soothing voice, aiming to dispel Polka's worries about being judged.
"R-really?"
"Yeah, we've learned not to judge other ponies by their appearances, and we don't plan on making that same mistake with others like you. And speaking of being unique, just look at your one-of-a-kind tail!" Pinkie exclaimed as she stood behind Polka, admiring her leonine tail.
"What about it?" Polka asked, feeling a bit concerned about what they might say about her lionlike appendage.
"It's unprecedented. No regular pony has ever been born with a leonine tail since the ancient times of Equestria. It's like a living artifact of the past," Twilight gushed with fascination."
Polka and Betoro stood in disbelief as they witnessed the unexpected friendliness of the ponies. In the midst of their astonishment, the baby dragon addressed them. "Yeah, that's how Twilight is, I'm Spike."
Spike and Betoro greeted each other warmly, shaking hands. "Nice to meet you, Spike. I've never encountered a dragon who is so closely associated with ponies before. In my experience, they usually have an aversion to them," remarked Betoro.
"I've spent a lot of time with ponies, ever since I can remember. I've even been living with her as her number-one assistant," Spike stated, gesturing towards Twilight.
The dialogue was flowing smoothly until Pinkie suddenly started jittering again, just like before. This sudden movement made everyone pause their conversation. "Pinkie?" Twilight called out.
"That wasn't it," Pinkie responded, causing Twilight to give her a quizzical look.
"What do you mean that wasn't it?" Betoro inquired.
"The hydra wasn’t the doozy," Pinkie explained. "I’m still getting the shudders! You see? There it is again! Whatever the doozy was at Froggy Bottom Bog my Pinkie Sense says it still hasn’t happened."
"Huh, but I-, WHAT?!" Twilight and Betoro both spoke simultaneously and said ‘what’, completely perplexed by Pinkie's incomprehensible statement. It was clear that unraveling this mystery would not be as quick as they thought.

And so it begins... Betorotto and Polka Plum finally meet the Mane 6 and Spike. Well... almost all of them. They still haven’t met Rarity or Rainbow Dash yet, but they will... soon enough.

"Pinkie. I've just met you for no more than twelve minutes, and I already think you are crazy." Betoro told the Pony of Laughter.
"Yeah, I get that a lot," Pinkie giggled.
As Twilight finally comes to believe in Pinkie's unusual "pinkie sense" powers, the group sets out of the mysterious Everfree Forest together. The other ponies are intrigued by the new duo they encounter along the way, engaging them in conversation. However, Twilight finds herself preoccupied with thoughts of Betoro, while Betorotto can't seem to shake the image of the lavender unicorn from his mind.
"Is she always this exuberant?" Polka inquired of Applejack, observing Pinkie's infectious excitement.
"Yup, that's Pinkie for ya," Applejack remarked as she conveyed the message to Polka. Polka turned to glance at the lively pink mare, who beamed at her. In response, Polka returned the smile, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Twilight gazed intensely at Betoro, her mind abuzz with a multitude of questions. Foremost among them was the perplexing query of how Betoro had managed to execute such incredible feats during his encounter with the Hydra. According to Polka, Betoro possessed extraordinary abilities, which she had personally witnessed. However, Twilight remained skeptical, pondering how a being of Betoro's Saiyan lineage could wield magic. Determined to unravel this mystery, she resolved to confront him at last.
Beto turned to Twilight and nodded before responding, "I have a question for you… well actually I have a lot of questions for you, but I’ll start with the first one in my mind. What magic did you use to defeat that Hydra?"
"It’s not magic I use," Betoro informed Twilight. "It’s called Ki." This left the group puzzled at what Beto said, excluding Polka.
"Since when do keys have magical powers? I thought those things were for doors?" Spike assumed.
Polka chuckled at the baby dragon's assumption. "No, not 'key' as in a piece of metal, silly. 'Ki' as in energy."
Twilight rolled her eyes and let out an exasperated sigh. "Oh great, is this going to lead to something completely incomprehensible like the Pinkie Sense? Because if it is, I might just lose my mind!"
"No no, Ki isn't hard to understand. Ki is another name for 'Life energy.'" Betoro said.
As Twilight continued trotting, the mention of 'Life Energy' made her come to a sudden halt, prompting the rest of the group to stop as well. "Life energy?" Twilight inquired, her curiosity piqued by the new term.
"Yes, Ki or Life energy is the vital force that flows within all living beings. It is the essence that gives us strength and vitality. The stronger and more focused you are, the greater your ki becomes," Betoro explained with a sense of calm authority, his hands beginning to glow as he formed a pulsating red orb of ki.
With a mixture of curiosity and trepidation, Twilight accepted Betoro's offering of the ki orb. As she tentatively held the orb, a surge of warmth and power coursed through her, leaving her in awe. "It's so extraordinary," she murmured, feeling the energy's vibrancy and strength pulsating within her grasp.
"What's so extraordinary, Twilight?" Spike asked.
"I don't really know, but it's unlike anything magical. This energy feels... tangible. As if it was crafted with physical substance," Twilight responded, gently cradling the pulsating ki energy in the palms of her hooves.
"Wow," Fluttershy exclaimed with wide-eyed wonder. "I bet he has more of this Ki with him," she presumed to everyone with a hopeful smile.
"I'm afraid not," Betoro replied. "My ki is limited, and it decreases every time I tap into it."
Applejack asked Betoro saying "What would happen if you were to run out of Ki?" She was curious to find out the potential consequences of the Saiyan being depleted of his energy source.
"When I'm all out of Ki to use, I become exhausted. My body would feel weak without it, leaving me vulnerable for others to finish me off." Betoro stated.
This was fascinating for everyone. However, as Twilight delved into the intricacies of Ki, her curiosity about Saiyan biology grew. Encountering a new, undiscovered species like the Saiyans was a rare occurrence for her and her friends in Equestria. The prospect of documenting and studying this enigmatic species was both thrilling and unprecedented.
"Wow, that could be a huge problem! But I'm curious, does this Ki refill?" Pinkie inquired enthusiastically.
"Indeed, it does. My energy replenishes gradually as I allow myself to rest and feed my body, allowing me to harness my Ki once again," explained Betoro. At that very moment, he found himself overcome by an intense hunger, longing for sustenance.
Pinkie's eyes widened in surprise and she burst out, "You must be absolutely hungry right at this moment, aren't you!?! Well, what are we waiting for? Let's take you and your sweet sister, Polka, off to Ponyville!"
With a sudden burst of energy, Pinkie darted away quicker than anyone could even blink. This unexpected display of exuberance left everyone in a state of bewilderment. After a full ten seconds of silence, Betoro finally broke it by declaring, "It's official... that pony is not crazy, but rather quite... bizarre."
After a long walk, everyone finally exited the Everfree Forest. Betorotto and Polka gazed out into the distance and saw a town presumed to be Ponyville, along with a castle resting on the mountaintops.
Betoro now understands why his mom, Clover Vine, wanted to meet them in the Everfree Forest. She wanted them to live there. How could Betoro and Polka say no? It's amazing just to enjoy the view.
Betoro and Polka strolled into town with their newfound friends, creating a buzz as they walked through the bustling streets. Meanwhile, lingering questions about the siblings' decision to abandon their solitary existence and emerge into the public eye remained unanswered for the time being.
The townspeople's reactions to Betoro and Polka were not what one might expect. Instead of showing disgust or fear, the ponies appeared to be curious yet uncertain in their expressions. It was evident that they were trying to make sense of Betoro and Polka's presence in their town.
"Get away from me, Rarity! I won't let you force me into wearing your fancy dresses!" a voice exclaimed in the distance. Betoro turned to identify the source of the voice only to have a streak of blue plummeted onto him.
“What just hit me?” Betoro muttered groggily as he propped himself up on his elbows. His gaze landed on an unexpected sight—a vibrant pegasus with a mane of brilliant rainbow hues cascading like a waterfall of colors. The creature perched on his chest, her shimmering cyan coat glinting in the dappled sunlight. Their eyes locked in a moment of bewilderment, each feeling a mix of surprise and curiosity as they tried to make sense of this strange encounter. The air around them crackled with an unspoken question, both wondering who each other was.
Rainbow laughs sheepishly and says "Uh... Hi there, I didn't see you."
"It's alright," Betoro reassured her gently, his voice softening in response to her distress. "Accidents are a part of life; they happen to everyone." He paused for a moment, his eyes scanning her face, before adding, "But tell me, who might you be?"
"Who, me? I'm Rainbow Dash, the fastest flyer in all of Equestria... that's who!" Dash proclaimed, her voice brimming with confidence as she hovered playfully above Betoro, her vibrant mane billowing in the breeze. With a swift motion, she pointed across the clearing to a striking white unicorn adorned with an elegant cascade of purple curls. "Look over there! That's Rarity. She's been on me about wearing one of her fancy dresses," Rainbow continued, her tone dripping with mock exasperation. With a flair for the dramatic, she suddenly ducked behind Betoro, casting a defiant glare toward Rarity as if the mere thought of donning a fancy gown was a fate worse than flying through a thunderstorm. "Protect me!" she shouted, her eyes wide with playful alarm.
As Rarity approached the eclectic group, she was instantly struck with awe at the sight of the Saiyan before her. "So you must be Rarity," Betoro announced, trying to be nice. "I think Rainbow Dash behind me is not eager to become part of your dresses, could you... leave her alone?"
Yet, as Rarity shook off the initial wave of awe, she squared her shoulders and spoke with unwavering resolve. "I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm afraid Rainbow here made a promise to me," she insisted, her voice steady and firm. "I’ve fulfilled my part of the bargain, and now she must honor her commitment!"However, when Rarity shook off her amazement, she spoke with a firm tone. "I'm sorry, but Rainbow here made a promise to me. I held my part, now she has to hold hers!"
“I only asked for one simple thing—a blanket to be repaired! That’s it!” Rainbow exclaimed, her voice a mix of frustration and disbelief. “It shouldn’t mean that I have to model one of those 'extravagant' dresses you crafted, Rarity!” She gestured emphatically, her colorful mane catching the light, while the confused Saiyan stood nearby, trying to make sense of the whole situation.
"Yes, you do, Rainbow Dash!" Rarity exclaimed, her irritation flaring momentarily. She then paused, glancing at the Saiyan with a mix of curiosity and bewilderment. "Now, if you could kindly step away from... umm, may I ask your name, darling?" The elegant unicorn’s frustration shifted to a puzzled expression as she attempted to make sense of this unexpected visitor.
"Uh... Betorotto."
Rarity and Rainbow Dash had completely put their earlier argument behind them, now united in their curious reveal of the name of the mysterious Saiyan. “Beto—rotto?” Rainbow Dash exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with mischief. She collapsed onto the grass, laughter bubbling forth uncontrollably, her hearty chuckles echoing through the air. Meanwhile, Rarity looked on with a raised eyebrow, a hint of skepticism etched on her face as she pondered the peculiar name, wondering how anyone could have possibly come up with something so... odd.
"I'm not going to question why you find my name hilarious," Betoro said with an unamused sigh, his brow slightly furrowed. He had dealt with this kind of reaction before and knew better than to try to stifle Rainbow Dash's laughter. Her joyous chuckles echoed around them, vibrant and unrestrained, a familiar sound he had learned to accept.
Rarity gracefully approached Twilight, her eyes filled with curiosity. "Twilight, darling," she inquired, her voice laced with uncertainty, "is that truly his name?" She tilted her head slightly, her brow furrowing as she searched for affirmation about Betoro's name, still feeling a hint of doubt.
Before Twilight had a chance to respond, Polka eagerly jumped in with her answer. “Yes, it is!” she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with happiness. “It’s actually a blend of a Joponese term, ‘Bītorūto,’ which translates to ‘beetroot’ in Ponish. And by the way, my name is Polka Plum!” Polka stated with a proud smile, her vibrant personality shining through.
"Well, that's... quite intriguing," Rarity remarked, her brow furrowing in thought. Her mind raced with possibilities and questions, swirling like leaves caught in a playful breeze.
Both she and Rainbow Dash (once she finished laughing) could sense the weight of an adventure they had missed while their friends navigated the tangled mysteries of the Everfree Forest. There was a palpable energy in the air, a mix of curiosity and excitement, as they anticipated the stories that awaited them back at Twilight's Golden Oak Library. An untold story lingered in the air as they headed to Twilight's cozy home, weaving through the thoughts of everypony's present. Betoro and Polka exchanged curious glances, their minds racing with the same pressing question that overshadowed their reunion: where on Equestria could their mother be in the bustling town of Ponyville? The vibrant streets and lively chatter only deepened their anxiety, as both siblings felt a growing urgency to uncover the truth behind her mysterious absence. Hoping she's here... and that nothing bad has happened.

Apologize for the next chapter taking so long to make. But where is Clover Vine?
My little Pony X Dragon Ball Super: MoeruTamashī
The group had arrived at the enchanting Golden Oak Treehouse some time ago, where the warm glow of sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting playful shadows on the floor. Rarity, with her keen eye for detail, was meticulously examining Polka Plum’s extraordinary physique, captivated by the vibrant hues and unique features that set her apart. Polka, sensing the intensity of Rarity’s focus, tilted her head slightly in confusion and asked, “Uhm, guys… what is she doing?” Rarity, practically bubbling with enthusiasm, struggled to contain her excitement as she envisioned a series of stunning dress designs that would perfectly complement Polka’s striking colors and one-of-a-kind charm.
Applejack steps forward, her voice filled with a hint of humor. "Oh, Rarity’s just got a bad case of designer fever. She's plannin’ out the perfect dress in her head for ya."
Polka blinked in surprise as she processed Rarity’s intentions. "Dresses? I understand that my quirky polka-dot fur and the striking leonine tail I pride myself on are quite the sight, but what makes you want to create dresses for me?" she inquired, her voice tinged with curiosity and a hint of shyness. Rarity was fully engrossed, her delicate hooves gently examining the soft fur of Polka’s majestic tail hair and her Leonie tail as she envisioned the possibilities it held for her next masterpiece.
Rarity’s eyes widened with excitement as she continued to assess Polka’s appearance. "Don’t you see, Polka? Your unique features are the ultimate canvas for a designer like me! Your blue polka dot fur and that remarkable Leonine tail are just begging to be showcased in a beautifully designed gown. The combination of colors and textures will be absolutely divine."
Fluttershy, noticing the shy expression on Polka's face, gently nudges Rarity and speaks up. "Rarity, remember, not everypony is used to the attention. Polka might be feeling a bit overwhelmed."
Rarity glanced at Polka, her eyes softening with a mix of concern and understanding. "Oh, I'm so sorry, Polka dearest. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. I just became quite excited at the prospect of designing a gown that would truly bring out your unique beauty." As she spoke, she stepped back slightly, ensuring Polka had the space she needed to feel at ease.
"It's alright. I'm glad that you all accepted Betoro and me," Polka said as she walked beside her Saiyan brother, who was leaning against a bookcase in the Golden Oak Library.
Applejack, ever the kind and warm soul, smiled and responded, "Of course, Polka. You and Betoro are our guests. We're happy to have ya here."
Twilight, ever the curious one, looked keenly at Betoro, her eyes studying him, before speaking up, "If you don't mind me asking, Betoro, what are you thinking about?"
Beto gazed at Twilight and that's when he realized something unusual. When Betoro shifted his attention to Twilight, he found her sporting a vibrant umbrella hat. "Wait a minute. Why on earth are you wearing an umbrella hat?" Betoro exclaimed, his voice tinged with astonishment as a bewildered expression overtook him. The playful nonsense of the situation hung in the air, and he couldn't help but marvel at her unexpected choice.
Twilight chuckled, amused by Betoro's surprised reaction. "Oh, this?" she said, gesturing to her umbrella hat. "I know it’s a little strange, but I've just learned that there are things in this world you just can’t explain."
"What was the thing you couldn’t explain?" Betoro asked, wanting to know what caused Twilight to learn this lesson.
“Well, it was Pinkie’s tail’s a-twitchin’. That was the reason for this whole lesson I learned today, and why I chose to wear this silly umbrella hat with her,” Twilight said as she giggled.
Pinkie Pie chimed in with enthusiasm, "I think it looks great on you, Twilight! An umbrella hat is perfect for those unexpected tail twitches." Pinkie said, and on cue, her tail twitched again. "There it goes again!"
"I wonder what’s gonna drop out of the sky this time."
"You never know."
"Okay, Spike, once you've finished writing the letter, you can go ahead and send it to Princess Celestia." As soon as Betoro heard that name, he became curious about who Twilight was referring to. However, before he could ask and before Spike had the chance to set the scroll on fire, something struck the Golden Oak Library, causing the entire tree to tremble.
"Earthquake! Take cover!" Polka shouted as she ducked under the horsehead centerpiece table, believing it was an earthquake.
"I don't think so. I believe it came from the balcony," Twilight assumed as the house stopped trembling.
"I'll check it out," Betoro shouted as he was the first to step out onto the balcony. What he saw took the Saiyan by surprise. Standing before him was a tall Alicorn, a few inches taller than Betorotto.
"Princess Celestia!" Twilight shouted as she passed by Betoro to approach her teacher with a smile. However, when she realized she was still wearing the umbrella hat, she quickly removed it and put on a sheepish smile.
Hearing that this was Princess Celestia made Betoro's question fade and turn into realization. When he was a child, his mom would read stories about the winged unicorn princesses known as the Alicorns—immortal and majestic ponies that rule Equestria.
"Princess Celestia, it's good to see you, but... what are you doing here?" Twilight asked, her puzzlement clear.
The princess stepped closer, a calm smile on her face. "Well, Twilight, I've always received letters from you. So, I thought it would be nice to head to you and get the letter from you for a change, and I'm glad I did, as it gave me the chance to meet your new friends."
Realizing that Princess Celestia was referring to his sister and himself, Betorotto quickly knelt before the Princess. Polka followed her brother in doing so. The other girls observed this and appreciated their respect for royalty, especially Twilight.
Betoro stood up after kneeling before a Princess of Equestria and addressed her in a formal tone. "Princess Celestia, I am Betorotto, Saiyan son of Clover Vine. And this is my sister, Polka Plum."
Princess Celestia smiled warmly and nodded at the pair. "Please, rise. I am truly impressed and touched by your manners and respect." She then focused her attention on Twilight, her wings twitching slightly with curiosity. "Twilight, may I speak with you in private?"
“Certainly, Your Highness,” Twilight replied, a bit confused by the request, but she accepted it nonetheless. She turned to her friends and signaled to them with her eyes that she would be just a moment.
Twilight guided Princess Celestia a short distance away from the group and cast a magic bubble that silenced the conversation happening inside. Once Twilight completed the spell known as the 'Bubble of Silence', they had the privacy they needed.
"May I ask, Twilight, what creature is this... Betorotto?" Princess Celestia inquired of her faithful student. "I've never encountered a creature that resembles him at all."
"Betorotto, or Betoro for short, said he is called a 'Saiyan.' He appears to be a bipedal creature with a monkey tail who uses Ki, which is not magic but rather the life energy within him." Twilight explains.
"Interesting..." Celestia said.
"And... he helped save me by facing a Hydra all by himself," Twilight said as she gazed at Beto. "I'm also going to have a fantastic time documenting a Saiyan! Oh, all the great research I’ll include in my own book!"
Celestia let out a heartfelt chuckle at Twilight as her Star Pupil's eyes sparkled with wonder. "Aside from your fascinating research, which I look forward to, do you think he will make a good friend?" Celestia asked.
"Yeah, why do you ask?" Twilight wondered what Celestia was thinking.
Meanwhile, outside the bubble, everyone watches as Twilight and Celestia speak inside the bubble. "What do ya'll think they are talking about in there?" Applejack asked the others.
Everyone shrugs, having no idea what Twilight and Princess Celestia were discussing. It took over thirty minutes before Twilight opened the bubble of silence, allowing everyone to hear her conversation with Princess Celestia.
“Betoro, do you and your sister, Polka have a place to stay in Ponyville? Assuming you both don’t already have a house,” Twilight asked the Equusbound Saiyan.
"No, we don't. Why?" Betoro asked, confused, while Polka Plum mirrored his expression at Twilight's question.
“Well, maybe you and Polka would like to stay with Spike and me at our house, the Golden Oak Library?” Twilight asked with a sheepish smile, hoping they would say yes.
As Betoro and Polka exchanged glances, they nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we would like that, Twilight," Betoro said.
Twilight's expression transformed into one of pure happiness.
"I have something to say," Polka inquired. "Has anyone seen our mom, Clover Vine?"
Although Betoro and Polka's mother was mentioned earlier, no one has seen or heard from her. "No, we haven't. Sorry, darlings," Rarity said.
While this may have caused some unease among the siblings, Princess Celestia spoke. "Perhaps she is in Canterlot. What does she look like? This information will help us track her down more easily."
After describing Clover Vine for some time, Princess Celestia instructed her Royal Guards to keep an eye out for the unicorn, who had not been declared missing yet. "Thank you, Princess, for helping us search for our mother," Betoro said, speaking on behalf of himself and Polka Plum.
"You're welcome, Betorotto. By the way, thank you for saving my star pupil and her friends," Celestia said as she and Betorotto turned to see everyone chatting inside the Golden Oak Library. "Take care, Betorotto. I look forward to seeing you more often."
As Princess Celestia soared into the sky, Betoro waved goodbye to the Princess of the Sun.
As Betoro stood alone on the balcony for a moment, Twilight joined the Saiyan outside. "So, are you thinking about your mom?" Twilight asked.
“Yeah. I don't know where she is or what she's doing; I'm just hoping she's okay.” As Betoro said that, Twilight placed a hoof on Betoro. Perhaps she’ll ask to study him tomorrow.
