Lunar madness

Discord was in in fact tired.

He wasn't sure if he could do any more favors, they were for the life of him. Exhausting.

"I wonder when dinner will be ready?" He asked himself.

And what he got was an answer.

"In just a few minutes. I thought you would have eaten while you were out?" Said Celestia reading a book on his desk.

"What the buck! Celestia don't sneak up on me like that! I nearly made it rain bowling balls on you."

"Weird it doesn’t say that in here."

He got up reluctantly and looked over her shoulder to see what she was reading.

She was reading his-

"If you say it, I’ll turn you into fruit!" He yelled at the author, who didn't give a flying-feather that he was about to call the book a diary.

Which it was.

Discord quickly grabbed the book and pressed it up against himself blushing from fury and embarrassment, in fear of what she might have read.

"So, that's what you think of my sister?"

"Don't you know anything about privacy!? You don't just read someone’s private journal!"

"Then why did you leave the door unlocked?"

"So if I didn't teleport into my room I’d be able to open it once I found it."

"That makes sense. So, is that what you really want to do for her?" She asked smiling with a raised eyebrow.

He snarled and snapped his fingers. Nothing happened.

In his room anyway.

In Celestia’s room, there were dodo's everywhere.

"Discord what did you do? There had better not be pudding or jello in my room."

"No, I just added a few more feathers to your already plush pillow."

"If you take whatever it is out of my room, I won't tell Luna."

"You won't even remember what you’re going to tell her. Heh, heh heh." Before she could retort he snapped his fingers wiping the memory away.

"Discord, what's going on? Why am in your room? What is that you’re holding?" She asked tilting her head making her crown tilt.

"This is my private journal, and I would appreciate some privacy. I don't go in your personal items and you don’t go in mine, understand?"

"If you’re hiding something-"

"I am hiding two things. I need to find some information on Luna and second my new plan is falling together perfectly."

"What do you need to know about Luna?"

"Relax, I just want to know what other pony's think of her so in some convoluted way I can help her. It’s really simple if you think about it, or atleast my way."

"I can't believe I’m about to say this but... I trust you."

"I'm sorry, what was that?"

"I said... I trust you."

"What was that, one more time please?" He said cupping his ear to her muzzle.

"I trust you!" She yelled dwarfing Luna’s Royal Canterlot voice.

"Aww! Why would you do that!?" He yelled.

"You were acting like a foal."

"What!? I don't want and waffles!" He yelled staring at her quizzically.

Her ears flattened against her head in fear. "If Luna finds out that I deafened Discord she’ll kill me!"

"You want to go to dinner now!? Ok if your that hungry!" He snapped his finger and they found themselves in the dining room.

"Ah hello sister! Nice of you to join me." Said Luna waving at them.

Celestia quietly smiled before seating herself at the farthest end of the table.

Discord sat to the opposite of Luna.

"Tia, is something wrong?" Luna asked looking at her sister who was switching her eyes back and forth between Discord and her.

"What!?" Discord yelled, pulling out a small horn and putting it in his ear.

"Discord pleases keep your voice down."

"What!? You’re going to have to speak up! Your crazy sister nearly made me go deaf!"

Lunas eyes widened in shock before narrowing at her sister.

Who was trying to walk out of the dining room.

"Sister I want to have a word with you. Now." Luna said her eyes glowing white.

"How did you know I put dodo's in her room!?" Discord yelled.

"Now, now sister there's no need to be upset. It was an accident, I swear."

"Then why are you trying to leave?"

"I ugh... have papers to do! That’s it!"

"Is she giving the paperwork excuse!?" Discord countered without knowing. Or did he?

"Sister come here now and I won't turn you into ash." Luna said taking in a breathe letting her eye's return to normal.

She reluctantly walked over with her head hung low out of guilt.

"Now, how did it happen?"

"He was playing around as usual, and then he made me keep repeating that i trusted him. So when I had, had enough, I yelled."

Luna face-hoofed. "Did you atleast try and fix it?"

Her cheeks turned a light red. "It crossed my mind when he teleported us here."

"Well I think that's good enough. Now, can you fix his hearing?"

"Of course, I do owe him that much."

She was about to use her magic when a flock of grey birds burst in followed by two groups of guards.

"Are those dodoes’s?" Asked Luna putting a hoof to her chin.

"They escaped! Quick put them back into Celestia's room before they molt!" Discord yelled putting his hands on his head in a "The Scream" pose.

"You put those filthy things in my room!?" Celestia yelled.

"Ow, keep it down. I’m not deaf; it was merely an act to make you look like the fool for once, and it worked perfectly!"

He snapped his finger's turning all the birds into Swiss cheese and chicken sandwich's.

He picked one up and ate it without even chewing. "Now that hit's the spot." He said before belching. "Excuse me."

"Aw, I wanted to keep one." Luna whined much to Celestia's shock.

"Why would you want to keep one of those filthy things?"

"Because their just so adorable."

There was more belching and they both turned to see Discord sitting back down.

With a lone dodo by his side.

"I saved you one." He said motioning it towards Luna who smiled and started to pet it.

"Luna doesn’t touch that thing. What if it blows up?"

"Now hush, poor little Cookie won't do anything."

"Cookie? You named it Cookie?"

"Yes and if you don't like it then go suck a lemon." She said blowing a raspberry at Celestia who rolled her eyes before returning to her seat.

"So Luna, how have you been?" Discord asked drinking some soup leaving the dishware for once.

"Good and you? What have you done?"

"Well, I renovated the guest room for now, I saved a town from Timberwolve's, repaid my dep’t to four of the Elements Of Harmony, taught Skittles how to do a new move, made two new friends, stood up for them and their friends, rocked out in a history lesson, almost got kissed by a Pegasus doing hallucinogen, gave a karate outfit with num-chucks to her and filled Celestia's room with dodo's."

"Well it seems you’ve still been causing some chaos which is understandable."

"Well duh, I am the embodiment of chaos."

"Yes I know, and we couldn't be happier."

"Who's we?"

"Pinkie Pie and me."

"Ah yes, Pinkie. She was the one who kept running from you on Nightmare Night, correct?"

"How did you-"

"There were a few holes in my statue. That and I like listening to gossip."

"Then yes, she was. Almost everypony was and still is afraid of me for what I was."

"I heard Twilight tried to change your look?" He asked leaning on his elbows with his hands underneath his chin.

"Yes, it did not go well."

"Maybe it was the wrong time to try. If you'd let me I could do a much better job."

"I don't want to be green or any other color than I am now Discord."

"No, no, no. I’m talking about maybe some new little ornaments."

"Ornament’s, what do I look like a Hearth's Warming Eve tree?"

"No, it's you're little jewelry."

"My royal regalia? What’s wrong with it?"

"It's too dark and threatening."

"I suppose it is. I will let you make me new one's then."

"Yes! You will not regret it, that I swear!" He cheered before teleporting out of the room.

"Sister, why did you let him do that?" Celestia asked not sure if she had just heard Discord was going to make jewelry.

"You may not know this, but he's a very fine blacksmith." She nooded and stood up to walk out letting Cookie ride on her back.

When the door shut Celestia was about to get up as well before a small device with a note on it fell in front of her on the table.

She unraveled the note and read it aloud as she usually does.

"Dear Celestia, I recorded what you said earlier on the little device. Now I get to hear you say it whenever I want!

Discord."

She picked up the device. It was a small rectangle made out of plastic; it had five buttons on the side.

She pushed the one with a small triangle on it.

"I trust you!" it yelled exactly the same as when she did it.

Only this time, she was the one deafened.
