Daniel looked out at the Ponyville street, and checked his list. Seeing that the tux would be the easiest to get, he set off towards Rarity's Boutique. Gilda padded up to him.

"Hey Daniel!" She called out.

"Oh, hey Gilda, whats up?" Daniel replied.

"Hey, I know you're supposed to ask me, well not even me, but a stallion, but seeing how I'm not a stallion and all, I was wondering, could I be one of your groomstallions?" Gilda said quickly, then turned away, blushing slightly.

"Okay, sure, I think you deserve a part in the wedding anyways." Daniel said without a second of thought. Gilda gave him a strange look as he continued forward.

"Really, that simple, no begging, no odd looks, no what's wrong you's?" Gilda said disbelievingly.

"Nope, but remember, you have to get a dress." Daniel said.

"Uh, no fucking way am I ever going to wear a dress." Gilda said with finality.

"Alright, how about a tuxedo?" Daniel said.

"Uh, I guess I could do that, they aren't to frilly." Gilda replied, "Well, see you later." Gilda said, then flew off to a random cloud, most likely to take a nap on. Daniel found himself at the doorstep of Carousol Botique, he stepped inside.

"Welcome to Carousol Botique, where everything is, oh, Daniel, what can I help you with?" Rarity said, trotting into the room.

"Well, I was just wondering how much it would be to buy a tuxedo." Daniel replied.

"Oh, you mean for your wedding? Oh Darling, you don't have to pay for that! It's your wedding!" Rarity said excitedly. Daniel smiled slightly.

"You really are quite generous. Thank you. Do you need my measurements?" Daniel asked.

"Oh, no I already got your measurements for the FLAW, so it shouldn't be a problem, I'll make sure it can be used to your needs, whether you change into your other form, or grow wings." Rarity answered. Daniel nodded. "So Darling, would you like some tea? Come on, sit down, let's chat." Rarity said, turning towards her living room and gestured to it. Daniel shrugged and stepped inside and caught sight of the piano. Rarity left and went into her kitchen to make the tea. Daniel migrated over ot the piano. He sat down on the bench, and spread his fingers out correctly, about to play the first note.

"Would you like honey with your tea?" Rarity said, poking her head in, and saw Daniel at the piano that Spike played when he was over here. "Oh, going ot play? well let's hear some then, I love the piano, such a beautiful instrument, but I can't play it, you know, with hooves and all." Rarity said. Daniel shook his head.

"No, I, really shouldn't bother you with my playing. Besides, I only play one song that I made a long time ago in an orphanage. It's sad, and dark, and I don't think you would like it." Daniel answered.

"Please play it Daniel, oh, Spike never comes around enough anymore, and when he does he doesn't even play me anything. He just does whatever work I need him for, and then he runs off to Applebloom. What does that filly have over me anyways?" Rarity said, then suddenly added, "He thinks I'm ugly!" And with that, she began crying. Daniel immediately went to her side.

"No, of course he doesn't think that, Rarity, and if it makes you feel any better, I'll play that song for you." Daniel said, and Rarity perked up.

"You would do that for me?" Rarity asked, Daniel shrugged.

"Yeah, but remember, it's a cruddy song." Daniel said, and went back to the piano and got into position. and hit the first note, a deep sound vibrated out, and he hit a few more keys acting as light trebbles to the deep base, and then he began to play, and his fingers flowed. They moved with purpose, and with grace, and Daniel let himself go into the music, let it surround him as he recalled the song that he had made one day. Suddenly his mouth opened, and he began to talk with the rhythm, not sing, but talk.

You look at me through your eyes, but you don't see,

You listen to my plea with your ears, but you don't hear,

You don't know who I am, nor will you ever.

His words stopped, giving way to the beautiful piano, which had been playing more complex notes as his hands moved like wildfire on it. Suddenly, he began to sing, his voice not the best, but the words, the words went deep.

You think you have it bad?

You think you have it rough?

What if you had to say good bye

To the ones you love?

What if this world said that they would have to die?

Daniel stopped playing, and got up. "Sorry, about that, I know I sound horrid." He said sheepishly. Seeing Rarity's stunned face he shrank back slightly. "Sorry for bugging you, I'll get out of your hair." Daniel slipped towards the door.

"W-wait." Rarity said. Daniel stopped.

"Yes?"

"Could you come and play the rest of that song sometime?" Rarity asked. Daniel's eyes widened.

"P-pardon?"

"The song, if you ever get the chance, could you come and play it for me again?"

"Uh, sure, I suppose." And with that Daniel left. He stepped outside, and was instantly slammed into, the two fell over, Daniel immediately suspected danger, and got on top of the person, and twisted his hands around to be at the back, and sat on his back. Daniel's thought process caught up with him a whole ten seconds later. Hands. This was a human.

"Ah! get off! Damn I can't get out of this hold. Help!" The young boy called out, he looked to be about twelve. Daniel rolled his eyes and got up.

"Okay, getting past the fact that you are an actual human, why did you slam into me?" Daniel said, helping the boy up.

"I was running, I think I'm goin crazy, there are horses everywhere, and they talk, am I insa-- Did you say 'The fact that I'm a human?'" The boy stopped midsentence.

"Okay, one, you are not crazy, two, I am the only human here, well, at least I was. My name's Daniel." Daniel extended his hand and the boy took it.

"Alexander, you can call me Alex." The boy said.
