Daniel Book 3- Life in Ponyville

Daniel exited the Everfree, and recieved many odd looks from the kids that had gathered around on the nearby playground. Daniel just nodded at them, and went back into town, where again he got several wierd looks. Somepony trotted up to him.

"Hey you." A male voice said behind him, Daniel shrugged and turned around.

"Can I help you?" Daniel turned and saw a fairly large blue earth pony. The pony came up.

"Yeah, you can leave this town, and quit bothering all of us, or else." The pony said, Daniel wasn't one for threats.

"Or else what Mr. Macho? Cause I am not leaving." Daniel replied dangerously.

"I'll buck you to the moon." He said.

"Good luck with that, you'll need it." Daniel said. The pony swung a hoof at Daniel, and Daniel just sidestepped. "Nope, a little slow." The stallion charged at Daniel, who jumped over im, and landed back on his feet, quickly turning around, he added, "So how about this weather eh?" The stallion once agan swung at Daniel, but daniel simply backed up, causing hi to hit air, "It's great here ya know? With the pegasi I mean." The stallion turned and kicked with both legs, Daniel jumped over them. "See, where I come from, Clouds move on their own." The stallion stopped fighting for a moment.

"Stay Still!" He said, Daniel shrugged with a smile.

"Okay." The stallion looked flabbergasted, but he swung again, Daniel didn't step away, but he did catch the stallion's hoof, he pushed the stallion back a few feet. A crowd was now gathering around.

"Hey look! Big Talk is trying to fight Daniel!" Spike yelled, getting more people to gather around. "Kick his bullying flank Daniel!" He added, and was supported by several cheers. Big Talk swung hi fist at Daniel again, and again it was caught, Daniel threw him on the ground, still not fighting.

"Why would I want to hurt him? He seems okay to me!" Daniel called out.

"Are you kidding? He's been causing all sorts of trouble around here! He even threatened Mayor Mare!" Somepony yelled.

Daniel turned towards the still attacking stallion, who kept getting thrown back. "You threatened the mayor? That's horrible, but still, I'm sure she wouldn't want me to beat you up, so let's just call this quits before you get hurt." Daniel said with a friendly tone. Talk replied by charging full on at Daniel. Daniel sighed. He grabbed Big Talk's head, ad spun him around, so that he ended up running into a nearby wall.

"Are you kidding! I'm not one for violence, so when I say this you better believe it, KICK HIS BUCKING FLANK TO THE MOON!" Mayor Mare shouted, Daniel shrugged, that was enough encouragment for him. Big Talk charged yet again, this time, Daniel grabbed his head, and spunn him around, and brought him towards the wall again, He smashed the stallion's face into it. Just once, he then let the stallion go.

"Leave this town, and I won't hurt you anymore." Daniel offered.

"You wish!" He charged forward again, Danielrealized that he really didn't know how to fight, Daniel steeped forward, and waited, the moment he was within reach, Daniel landed an uppercut into the stallion's jaw. Big Talk went flying back. Daniel charged forward ust as he was gettign up, and landed a fistic blow to the back of his head. When he was down, Daniel yanked him up by the mane.

"I said leave." Daniel spat out. Big Talk nodded, Daniel dropped him, and he fled from the town. "There, problem solved, sorry about the excessive violence, I really tried." Daniel said regretfully.

"Free drinks for the rest of Daniel's life at my bar!" Applebloom said, running forward, and nuzzling Daniel's leg. Daniel ruffled her hair. "As a matter of fact, why don't you come on down to the Drunken Dragon right now!" Applebloom said, Daniel shrugged, and nodded.

Daniel stepped inside the bar, there was only one other pony, who turned towards Daniel and her eyes went wide. She ran up to Daniel and pressed him against the wall. Applebloom raised an eyebrow. "They called me crazy! They said I was a lunitic! but look! My human knight that I dreamt of all my life is here! He's real! Kiss me Alexander!" Lyra came in for a kiss, and Daniel turned his head, and she kissed his cheek.

"Uh, sorry lady, my name is Daniel, not Alexander, although that has to have been the wierdest reaction to me yet." Daniel said with a chuckle, gently nudging the pony off himself. "Oh, and next time, at least ask." Daniel added with a hearty chuckle. Lyra looked heartbroken.

"Oh, uh, sorry, heh, Applebloom, can you break that hottest bottle of alchohol you have?" Lyra asked the filly standing next to Daniel.

"Uh, okay. You alright Lyra?" Applebloom asked.

"No, I just had my heart soar through the clouds, then crushed into a fine powder." Lyra said, dragging herself over to the bar. Daniel felt like an ass. The door to the bar opened, and another mare came in. Glanced at Daniel, then sat at the bar next to Lyra.

"AB, can you break out the hottest bottle of alchohol you have?" Applebloom just nodded, and went around back, and brought back two bottles of a strange beverage, with skull and crossbones on them. Both mares popped open the bottles, and right before they sipped, they both put the bottles down.

"You know what!" They both yelled in union, "I don't need alchohol, niether do I need a stallion! What I need is is to get out!" Both ponies turned towards each other.

"Hey, stallion trouble?" Lyra asked.

"Yeah, you to?" The other mare asked.

"You could say that, let's say me and you go grab something to eat, without a stallion." Lyra said. The other nodded.

"My name is Bonbon, I make chocolates." The other mare said, extending a hoof.

"Lyra, I play music for the Canterlot Garden Orchestra, and now am an official lebian." She extended her own hoof and shook Bonbon's. Bonbon smiled at her.

"Well, fellow lesbian, let's scram. I'll pay." Bonbon threw a bag of bits, somehow holding the exact change for both drinks, and they both walked out.

"What in the wide world of Equestria just happened?" Applebloom asked. Daniel shook his head.

"I'm not completely sure myself, to be honest, I'm just glad they're happy." Daniel replied. Applebloom nodded in agreement, and Daniel left before he got anything himself.
