Equestria Ninja Xiaolin Girls
Monks arrival in New York
Previous ChapterNext ChapterDojo, carrying the monks on his back, flew through the air. Omi was still in his Gi, but the others had changed outfits. Raimondo wore a green jacket with cargo pants and black and white sneakers. Kimiko wore a light blue shirt with a yellow line across it, a denim skirt with a pink belt, pink sneakers, and yellow fingerless gloves. Her hair was also down in a ponytail. Clay wore a blue shirt with blue pants, brown boots, a brown belt, a red scarf around his neck and his hat.
They were coming across New York City.
“Back to good old New York,” Kimiko said as she saw the city.
“Maybe we can visit Jermaine while here,” Omi suggested.
Jermaine was a friend they made the last time they were in New York. He became a Xiaolin Warrior in training as well.
“After we secured the Wu,” Raimondo informed them. “Remember, guys, we're here for the Genie Moo. And Omi, try not to get lost like the last time.” Omi scowled at that remark.
“I just hope we don't run into any aliens,” Dojo said.
“Dojo, have you been looking at that old tabloid story about that alien invasion again?” Kimiko asked the dragon. “I told you it's nothing but rumours.”
“It sounded real,” Dojo said.
“If we run into any aliens, we'll mop the grass with them,” Omi declared.
“Yawl know yawl don't mop grass, liddel buddy,” Clay pointed out. Omi was embarrassed.
Dojo landed in a small alleyway, out of sight. The monks left the alleyway and made their way through the streets.
“So Dojo, got a lock on the Wu?” Raimundo asked the dragon.
“It's here in the city, but it's faint. I can’t get an exact location,” Dojo explained.
“Findin' thuh Wu in thus city will bay lahk findin' uh needle in uh haystack,” Clay pointed out.
“Then we better keep moving,” Raimondo declared.
The gang kept wandering around the city. They went through Central Park and passed a few shops, and Kimiko almost got sidetracked by an urge to shop. They then passed a few restaurants, including a barbeque restaurant that distracted Clay. Even Raimundo had a bit of a desire to see the Yankee Stadium, but he pulled himself together. The monks soon stopped in Chinatown for a rest as night had fallen.
“Guys, we've been searching all day. Perhaps we should find a place to spend the night, then resume our search in the morning,” Raimondo suggested.
“I'm okay with that,” Kimiko said with a yawn.
“Yeah, Ahm all plum tuckered out,” Clay admitted.
“This dragon needs his beauty rest,” Dojo said as he laid on Clay's hat.
The group agreed, all except one.
“We should be searching for the Wu, not sitting around with our fingers in our nostrils,” Omi objected, once getting the saying wrong. “Who knows how which evil will find the Genie Moo.”
“First off, Omi, I think you mean Thumbs up our noses,” Raimundo corrected him. “Second, I know you want to find the Shen Gong Wu before Jack or any other bad guy. But even if we run into them now, we'd be in no condition to fight them. So we should rest; you probably also feel tired.
“What, I feel fine,” Omi boasted until he did a big yawn. Raimondo gave him a raised eyebrow, proving his point. “Okay, maybe you're right.”
“Well, it's agreed,” Raimundo declared.
“Yeah, you're gonna give us all your money!”
The monks turned to see the Purple Dragons approaching them, with Fong leading them.
“Could you repeat that?” Raimundo asked, knowing where this was going.
“You newbies are on our streets,” Fong told them. “So, if you want to walk away, you better give us your valuables.”
“That ain't happening, bub,” Kimiko said as she cracked her knuckles.
“Now hold on, y'all, let's tawk bout this,” Clay recommended.
“Yeah, just surrender your stupid hat, cowpoke,” Sid insulted, which made Clay angry.
“Y'all aren't gittin' chur dirty mitts on mah hat!” Clay declared with a surge of anger.
“Get em!” Fong orderd.
The Purple Dragons attacked the monks.
Fong attacked Omi with a crowbar, but Omi kept dodging.
“Monkey strike!” To the gangster's surprise, Omi used a karate chop to break the crowbar.
“How did you do that?!”
“That's for you to know and for me to find out,” Omi declared, not realising he had gotten the saying wrong again.
Fong was confused but didn't have time as Omi continued to attack him.
Kimiko dodged a few strikes from the Dragons and flipped kick them, knocking them down.
Raimundo was fighting a few dragons, but he then used his wind powers to blow them away.
Clay used his strength against Sid.
“You're nothing but a weak little cowboy,” Sid boasted as he pushed Clay further.
“Fat chance; Ahm stronger than uh ragin' bull wheyun it says thuh colour rayud after sumone steals its hay,” Clay said.
That got Sid confused, “One more time?”
That gave Clay the opportunity to throw the dragon over his shoulder.
A few dragons surrounded Omi, so he got out the orb from his robes.
“Orb of Tornami!” The orb then blasted a massive surge of water at the dragons, knocking them off their feet.
Soon, the ground suddenly shook as if something big was stomping. It was none other than the mutant leader of the Purple Dragons, Hun.
The monks were shocked to see the giant turtle mutant.
“Whut in tarnation?” Clay said in surprise.
“Is this normal in New York?” Omi asked.
“I don't think so,” Raimondo admitted.
“You kids are skilled; you should be with us Purple Dragons,” Hun said to them, much to the monk's disgust.
“Join a bunch of thugs, no thanks,” Kimiko refused.
“I'd rather be hit in the head by a mule than join a bunch of thugs,” Clay stated.
“Well, you kids are as stupid as those Turtles and Rainbooms,” Hun declared, but the monks had no idea who the Turtle was talking about.
“Someone call our names!”
The Dragons and Monks looked to the side to see the Turtles, Rainbooms and allies coming out of the shadows.
“Really, Hun, must we do this again?” Raph rhetorically asked while cracking his knuckles.
“Haven't we defeated you many times before,” Keno asked as he got his sticks ready.
The monks were surprised by more mutant turtles appearing.
“More giant turtles?” Kimiko asked.
“And a bunch of cuties with them,” Raimondo said with hearts in his eyes as he saw the girls with them, much to Kimiko's annoyance.
“So, are we going to do this? Or are you going to, for once, make it easy for everyone and walk away.”
“Never going to happen. Get them!” Hun declared.
“Ninjas, take ‘em down!” Leo declared the heroes as they drew their weapons and attacked the Dragons.
Leo fought Fong, who used a knife. Leo dodged his swings as he used his sword to cut the knife as he swept the dragon's leg.
Sunset blocked the attacks from another dragon who used a cleaver. The Dragon was about to hit her, but a diamond shield protected her. Rarity jumped over and landed next to the dragon, delivering a roundhouse kick to the girl.
Casey was taking on a few dragons with his hockey stick. He pushed them away but saw another coming with a club.
“Time to test out my new weapon.” From Casey's hockey glove, a slingshot appeared. Casey readied a little red ball onto the slingshot and pulled back. Once the dragon got close, Casey rolled and dodged the attack before releasing the projectile, which exploded into the Dragon's eyes.
The dragon did a high-pitched scream as the substance was in his eyes. Raph then kicked him away. “Looks like that slingshot works.”
“Told ya,” Casey boasted.
“But what did you use again?” Raph asked.
“A little pepper mushed into a ball.”
Keno was fighting a few dragons with his sticks. Just then, Angel flipped over and kicked one dragon's face while Carter gave him a leg sweep.
“Nice, you two,” Keno complimented.
“Can't beat the bridge sibling,” Angel boasted as she and her brother fist-bumped.
Pinkie was bouncing around while dodging a bunch of attacks from the dragons. Then she jumped up into the air, “Sprinkle Rain!” The sprinkles exploded, distorting them.
The monks watched as the ninjas defeated the dragons.
Kimiko was impressed, “These guys are very skilled.”
“The giant green thingies are skilled, but the girls are definitely out of their element,” Omi said, showing little belief in girls again.
Unfortunately, they heard him as Rainbow Dash instantly zipped towards him.
“What did you say, pipsqueak?” Rainbow asked with anger on her face as Applejack, Gabby, Karai, and Hana joined in.
“What's wrong with girls?” Applejack asked.
“Tell us, little boy,” Gabby growled.
“It's just I never imagined a large number of girls to be good fighters,” Omi defended, adding fuel to the fire.
“Kid, you should probably know something...” Karai then transformed partially into her snake form. “...we're more than just girls.”
This shocked the monks as the girls grabbed Omi and dragged him into a dust cloud.
Leo was taking on Hun. The smaller turtle kept dodging the bigger one’s punches.
“Hold still, Turtle!”
Leo dodged until Hun unleashed another punch, which Twilight caught with her magic. She then threw Hun away.
“Thanks, Twilight,” Leo thanked the girl.
“You’re welcome.”
Hun got up only to be punched by Raph. He was then smacked by Keno, kicked by Fluttershy, and pushed back by April with her psychic powers. Then, finally, he received a flying kick to the gut from Mikey.
“BOOYAKASHA!”
Hun was down for the count. Fong looked around to see the dragons were losing. He knew there was only one option, “Retreat!” The dragons agreed enough was enough, so they grabbed their leader and legged it. The one who Casey shot pepper balls at was running but kept tripping over stuff.
“And don't come back!” Casey declared.
“Nothing like good Purple Dragon beat down,” Raph said while stretching.
“Shouldn't they be tired of this by now?” Zach asked as he, Caitlyn, Buffy, Pervis and Max came out of their hiding spot.
Leo then noticed some people missing. “Where are the others.”
They noticed their missing members standing near the monks, with Omi now all bruised and banged up, with the girls standing over him looking very ticked off.
“What is wrong with girls?” Rainbow rhetorically asked.
“Perhaps I was gravely mistaken; girls can knock butt,” Omi said, all dazed.
“I think you mean kick butt,” Raimondo corrected.
“That too,” Omi said as he fell to the ground.
The monks then grew angry.
“I know what Omi said was offensive, but no one attacks him, especially not some crazy hot snake girl!” Raimundo declared, staring at Karai as he charged at them.
Raimundo tries to punch Karai, but she grabs his arm and throws him to the side. “Thanks for the compliment.”
Kimiko declared, “I’m all for girl power, but no one attacks my friends!”
Kimiko charged at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow used her weapon to block Kimiko's attacks, but Kimiko got out a red ruby.

“Ruby of Ramses!” The Ruby glowed as Rainbow’s weapon and was pulled out of her hands.
“Hey!” Rainbow then blocked Kimiko's further attacks.
Applejack approaches Clay, “So, anything you'd like to say, partner.”
“Sorry, liddel lady, but Ah kaynt fite girls,” Clay admitted.
“Well, as gentlemen of you, you’d regret saying that once you meet a very dangerous girl,” Applejack advised the cowboy.
“Wudai Mars, Fire!” Kimiko used her fireballs to shoot at Rainbow, who used her Geode to dodge them. Kimiko then brought out a brown comb.

“Tangle Web Comb!” The comb shot out many vines which wrapped around Rainbow's body.
“Hey!” Rainbow said as she fell to the ground.
Kimiko shot another fireball, but to her surprise, it went around Rainbow Dash and straight towards her.
Kimiko blocked the fire as she saw Raph using his medallion to control the fire, “You're not the only one who can control fire, princess!”
Raimundo looked to see the other ninjas approaching and decided it was time to go. “Clay, grab Omi, Kimiko, over here. Time to go!”
Sunset noticed the monks running towards Raimundo so quickly that she got close to Clay and touched his arm, activating her visions. She saw the monks fighting evil, using the Shen Gong Wu and training.
The monks regrouped as Raimundo released a small glass ball with a crystal inside it.

“Culver Crystal!”
The Crystal glowed, producing a sparkling bright light that blinded everyone. Once the light subsided, the monks were gone.
“They're gone,” Twilight pointed out as everyone gathered together. Donnie noticed the Orb of Tornami on the ground and went over to pick it up.
Rainbow was still tangled, “Uh guys, a little help, please.”
What the gang didn’t know was that a Mouser Bot watched the whole thing and recorded it.
Author's Note
The Monks talking about their last New York Adventure is a reference to the episode "My Homie Omi." Where the Monks search for a Wu in New York City, and Omi winds up lost and meets his friend, Jermaine.
The outfit Raimundo is wearing for a based on the civilian clothing her wore in Xiaolin Chronicles
I also decided to give Casey a new weapon to his arsenal: a slingshot.
The Culver Crystal is a Shen Gong Wu not seen in the animated series, but rather seen in the card game.
