Equestria Ninja Xiaolin Girls
Aftermath
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe monks, especially Omi, were recovering from that fight in a Hotel Room courtesy of Kimiko's connections.
“How yawl feelin’, partner?” Clay asked the young monk.
“I feel alright,” Omi said as he held an ice pack to his head.
“Those guys were very skilled fighters,” Raimundo pointed out. “Did you see how they took on those thugs?”
“Yeah, and those girls definitely had powers,” Kimiko included. “Especially that snake girl.”
“Thay’re more skilled than uh dawg balancin' uh ton uh treats on its nose,” Clay said.
“And did you see how one of those turtles took control of Kimiko's fire?” Dojo said while lying on the bed.
“So they have elemental powers as well?” Raimundo wondered.
“They must be after the Genie Moo,” Omi theorised.
“I don't think so, Omi,” Raimundo dismissed. “They appeared more interested in those Purple Dragon thugs.”
“I-O-no bout y'all, but Ah reckon way might bump into them again,” Clay theorised.
“It is possible,” Raimundo agreed.
Kimiko then noticed something missing, “Omi, where's the Orb of Tornami?”
“Oh, I think I left it back on the streets,” Omi admitted.
“Well, if those guys found the Orb, they're bound to be more interested in Wu now,” Dojo realised.
The monks knew that things this wasn't going to be as easy as it usually was.
Down at the sewer lair, Leo was giving a lecture to Rainbow, Applejack, Karai and Gabby about their reaction to Omi's words.
“What you girls did was uncalled for! I get that kid probably said some insulting things, but that was no reason to go off on him!” Leo lectured.
The girls looked down in shame. Applejack spoke, “We're mighty sorry, Leo. We let our anger get the best of us.”
Mikey said, “That's funny; It's usually Raph who does this sort of thing.”
Raph glared at Mikey, ready to slap him, but stopped as he couldn't help but agree. “Someone lost their cool, and for once, it wasn't me.”
“To be fair, that yellow kid said some insulting stuff about girls,” Hana pointed out.
“While I don't condone the violence you did on that young boy, he was very insensitive about ladies,” Rarity said.
“Okay, we get it,” Rainbow said, feeling done.
“Lo siento, Leo,” Gabby apologised.
“We'll try not let it happen again,” Karai promised.
Leo was satisfied with that answer. He then turned to Donnie who was looking over the Orb of Tornami. “Anything, Donnie?”
“I'm not sure what it is,” Donnie explained while observing and poking it. “It's not made out of something on the periodic table.”
Twilight chimed in, “There are no screws or mechanical parts.”
“Maybe it's like those other weapons they used,” Rainbow suggested.
“Could it be an item from Equestria?” Casey asked.
“Maybe it's a trap that shoots acid in your face if you poke it,” Mikey suggested, which caused Donnie to stop poking it.
“Can you not say that while I'm poking it!” Donnie exclaimed as Mikey's words were not helping.
“It's a Shen Gong Wu.” Everyone looked at Sunset.
“A what?” Buffy asked.
“Shen Gong Wu?” Hana replied as that word felt familiar to her.
Pervis noticed Hana's face, “Hana, you alright?”
“That name, Shen Gong Wu, it sounds familiar,” Hana admitted. "I just can't figure out where I heard it."
“Did you manage to see into one of their memories?” Twilight asked Sunset.
Sunset explained what she saw, “Yeah. They're Xiaolin Monks, and they're the good guys like us.”
This revelation surprised the group. Leo asked, “What else did you learn from the vision?”
“I didn't get their names, but they trained monks to fight with these weapons,” Sunset explained.
“So what exactly is their deal?” Pervis asked.
“They mainly search for Shen Gong Wu. Magical items that hold great power and keep them out of the hands of evil.”
Angel grabbed the orb from Donnie's hands, “So I take it this ball is one of these powerful items?”
Sunset walked over and took the orb, “Yes. From I saw, it can create vast floods.
“So, in other words, let's not use it in here,” Gabby suggested.
“So, what are they doing in New York?” Fluttershy asked.
“According to my vision, a new Shen Gong Wu hidden here in New York has become activated, so they're here to look for it,”
“Think they found it yet?” Spike wondered.
“I don't think so. Otherwise, they wouldn't be sticking around,” Leo theorised.
“And if those monks have enemies, they're probably here in New York to do some nasty business,” April theorised.
“So what do we do?” Hana asked.
“If they’re the good guys, then maybe we should team up with them,” Mikey suggested.
Everyone looked at Mikey.
Carter spoke up, “I agree with Mikey.”
Keno voiced his opinion, “So do I.”
“They seem like good people despite the yellow boy's words,” Hana admitted.
A cannon of confetti exploded, courtesy of Pinkie Pie, “Which means more friends!”
Everyone seemed to be on board with the idea of a team-up.
Leo then decided, “Alright, everyone. Tomorrow, we'll search the city for these monks. And when we do, we'll try talking to them.”
Spicer and Stockman were in the abandoned warehouse, watching footage of the Monks and Ninjas fighting the Purple Dragons.
“So the Xiaolin Losers are here,” Spicer said in disdain.
“Enemies of yours?” Stockman asked, already knowing the answer,.
“Yep. I've had my fair share of battles with those loser Monks,” Jack explained. “But I've never seen these guys before.
“I have,” Stockman said in distain. “The Turtles and Rainbooms.”
Jack then began to laugh, “Hahaha, Rainbooms, what kind of name is that!”
“Don't underestimate them, Jack. They're very skilled. They've been thorns in my side for a long time now. And now that they've met these monks, they'll soon be teaming up.”
“Well, they'll have us to deal with and our special Robots,” Jack said before he started doing his usual evil laugh, much to Baxter's annoyance.
