The doors open, and I'm met with another guard pony, who stares at me with wide eyes.

"Yo, I'm here for the case, I think I'm the judge or something?" I ask.

"Changeling!" The pony screams, with a mix of fear and anger.

The hell is a changeling?

That was the question that ran through my mind before I was tackled to the ground by like five guards.

"Ah! Shit!" I yelped as I hit the floor.

Ok, whatever a changeling is, it's not liked.

Noted.

I hear my own voice scream 'what is the meaning of this?!' from the other side of the room.

That must be celestia.

Or, in this case, my sister, according to my bullshit.

Wich, I am sticking by for the time being.

Why? I'm not exactly sure, it'll uh, probably benefit me in the long run.

I decide not to put up a struggle... for now, since it seems like my shenanigans are already getting me into trouble.

"Princess! Stay back! A changeling is impersonating you!" Said one guard as I heard another set of foot.. Hoof, steps approaching.

"I plead the fifth!"

I'm pretty sure that amendment has something to do with the law. Right?

I don't know, my parents were the ones that knew about that type of stuff.

I only know the very basics.

"Quiet!" A guard said as I felt them slide a ring into my horn.

And Instantly, I knew there was something fucked up about that ring, as I felt drained, weak, tired, and, depressed all at the same time.

It was a weird feeling man.

"This.... does not feel good bruh" I say in a low tone as celestia arrived and I start trying, and failing to get up.

I can barely move, I feel like I could fall asleep for days right now.

I hear a faint gasp from celestia, as she says "false alarm stallions! She isn't a changeling!"

"She's not?" A guard says.

"No, she is another alicorn, like me" Celestia said as I felt a hoof slide the ring off my horn.

I fully stand up, cradling my head with my hoof, and furiously blinking my headache away.

"That was fucked up..." I say as celestia comes up to me.

"Are you alrig-" She began to ask, but stops as I suddenly turn around and yell at the surrounding guards.

"I'm pressing charges assholes! I swear to God I'm about to lawyer up!" I scream, making most of the guards flinch.

...

Guess my energy's back.

"Im already missing home" I say with a sigh as I turn back to celestia.

"Hey, sorry for the interruption, I was bored, so I began to explore your little castle here, and I guess I got lost"

"It's.. no problem" Celestia replied as I began walking deeper into the room, wich, from the looks of it seems more like a throne room than a court.

"Great, oh and, don't worry, I'm not actually gonna sue your.. are they your secret service?" I ask.

"My, what?"

"You know, the secret service, agents that are supposed to protect the president?" I say in a deadpanned mockingly tone.

How does she not know what that is?

Wait, why am I even being an ass about it? Of course these damn ponies aren't gonna know what the hell the secrets service is, Christ.

And do these ponies even know what a democracy is? Probably not.

"Well, technically you could refer to them as my, secret service" Celestia says, giving me a look that clearly says she does not like my tone.

"Yeah, sorry for talking to you like that, old habits die hard I guess" I say as I shake my head.

What else was I lying about? Oh yeah, that I was a war vet. That'll work out, I'll just blame my behavior on PTSD or something.

"Apology accepted" Celestia said in a surprisingly sweet tone.

"Now, I know you may be a bit confused, but I assure you, I will try to explain everything to the best of my abilities" Celestia began to say.

"But, unfortunately, I can't help you at this moment, you'll have to wait until I'm done with my duties" She finished.

"What, you mean court?"

"Yes"

"Oh, is it ok if I stay and watch?" I ask.

If this is infact a court, I'm kinda curious to see how these ponies go about it.

Celestia raises her eyebrow, as she thought about her response.

"Hm, well, it couldn't hurt if you watched, and, you could learn a thing or two"

"Nice, then I'll, go stand over there" I say as I gesture towards a few guards standing near the stairway leading to the throne.

"Alright, now, are you sure you can stay? Have you already been examined by the doctor?" Celestia asked as I made my way towards the guards.

"..yeah, I can stay, don't worry, you go do your thing "

...

I make it to the two guards, and stand next to one of them.

One of them, is eying me suspiciously, while the other one is looking at me with awe.

"Hey guys"

" Whoa, another alicorn.." Whispered one guard, wich, looked fairly young.

"Don't speak infront of a princess when you weren't asked to, it's disrespectful!" Scolded the other guard, who looked a tad older, also in a whisper.

"Don't worry, you can speak, and also, I'm not a princess, I'm a civi" I say, earning confused looks from both guards.

"Oh, were you recently ascended?" Asked the older guard.

Ascended?

"..Yes?" I respond, with not much confidence.

"Ah, that explains it"

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Don't you know? If your an alicorn, that basically means your a princess! It's practically law" Said the younger guard.

"Really? Ok, well, what do princess's usually, do?" I ask.

"Other than raise the sun and moon? Being very powerful in magic? Commanding the country? Nothing much" Said the older guard.

...

Fucking what?

Deciding that the guard is just joking, I decide to pay attention to the court in front of me.

Celestia is sitting on her throne, as a pony is speaking to her on the beginning of the stairs leading to the throne.

Kinda reminds me of house of the dragon.

"Where were we? Oh yes," Celestia began to say.

"Your worried about arrivals in your city?"

"Yes" the pony speaking to Celestia began to say.

He was male, and was wearing a tie, but without the suit.

He was taking glances at me, but quickly regained his cool and continued speaking.

"Citizens and Tourism in las pegasus has always been, ponies, but recently we have had griffins, and other races that I don't even know the name of, arriving at our shores, I was just wondering-"

"Las Vegas" I interrupt, almost out of instinct.

Dam, I'm patriotic ahh hell it seems.

"What?" The pony asked, as celestia faced me.

"The city, it's called las Vegas, and also, there's no shore bro, it's in Nevada, a landlocked state" I say commandingly.

Wait, why was I talking about this again?

Oh yeah, the guy said last Pegasus, how the hell did these ponies come up with that name for their city?

Nobody said anything for a couple solid seconds.

"Is Nevada a real place?" whispered the younger guard.

Before I could respond, a bright flash of light engulfed celestia's side for a second, before.. I'm pretty sure her name was Luna, appeared.

Where'd she came from? The hell?

"Luna! I wasn't expecting you, what brings you here?" Celestia asked.

"Sister, I don't mean to interrupt, but the new alicorn is miss-," Luna said, but stopped when she laid eyes on me.

"Oh, nevermind" Luna began to say as she approached me.

"Micheal, was it? We have some questions that need answering" She finished as her horn began glowing, and a flash of light engulfed my sight.

The last thing I said before basically passing out was "what are you-"

...
*/---*/

Celestia watched as Luna teleported away.

...

'Las.. Vegas?' She thought to herself.

'Why would she call it that? It's been called las pegasus since it's foundation...'
