My Rarity or Bust (featuring Sweetie Belle)

It was a new day at Canterlot City and Rarity was talking with her sister, Sweetie Belle about the day she’s having with her friends. She’s going to help her friends hunt down some Equestrian Magic streams that have leaked in the human world.

“Wow, sis! Looks like you have a really busy day ahead of you.” Sweetie exclaimed in awe.

“Tell me about it!” Rarity replied.

“Although, I wish we could spend time together for a change. We’re sisters.” Sweetie said, feeling disappointed that she doesn’t get much time with her sister as much.

“Don’t worry. I’ll be sure to find time to spend with you.” Rarity replied as she hugged her little sister.

“Sisters?” Sweetie Belle asked, holding her hand out.

“Sisters.” Rarity answered, shaking hands with little Sweetie Belle. It was when Rarity’s phone started buzzing and she instantly picked it up. It was Sunset Shimmer who was calling her.

“Hey, Rarity. We found out that Micro Chips’ inventions went rogue with Equestrian Magic. We’ll need your help!” Sunset said.

“All right. I’m on my way.” Rarity said over the phone as Sunset said bye and hung up. Rarity grabbed her geode and gave her sister a kiss on the cheek before she left out the door.

Suddenly, there’s a glow in Rarity’s closet which means the dragons need them! Sweetie Belle opened the window and tried calling out for Rarity, but she’s already too far away to hear her.

“Hey, sis. Wait! The dragons need us…” Sweetie Belle called to no avail. “Well, I guess I’m going solo today.” she sighed.

She closed the window, grabbed her dragon badge, went to her sister’s room and held the dragon scale herself. “I wish, I wish, with all my heart, to fly with dragons, in a land apart.” She said in disappointment as the dragons on the walls fly off, swirl around her and off she goes!

She re-materialized near the docks where Ord, Zak and Wheezie were waiting. There’s a winged dolphin in the water.

“Hey, Sweetie! Over here!” Ord called out as Sweetie trudged towards them.

“Hi.” Sweetie Belle said, feeling all gloomy.

“I’m so glad you could come. Wait, what’s wrong and where’s Rarity?” Ord said.

“She went to hang out with her friends for another magic battle.” Sweetie Belle replied.

“Oh, we’re sorry to hear that. To keep your mind off your situation, we’re going to help Maui.” Zak explained

“Who's Maui?” Sweetie asked in confusion.

“She's our slippery flippery sea dragon friend…” Wheezie answered as she pointed to the sea dragon.

“Aw, she looks so cute!” Sweetie cooed, loving their fishy friend.

“...and she can't find her little sister Lanai. So, we said we'd help her look. We can’t swim as well as Maui, so we got this cool submarine and now we can all look for her. That's why we need your help. So, are you going to help us, Sweetie Belle?” Ord continued.

Sweetie Belle is happy to help her dragon friend. “Sure! I would love to go on an undersea adventure! We should wait for Rarity.” Sweetie said, feeling better.

“Well, when is she coming?” Wheezie asked.

“I’m not sure.” Sweetie replied just as Maui barked and squeaked impatiently.

“Maui says she can’t wait. We got to start looking for her sister Lanai right away.” Zak points out.

“Are you coming, Sweetie?” Wheezie asked.

“I want to. It’s just that I’ve never been in Dragon Land by myself without anyone with me before.” Sweetie answered, feeling even more gloomy.

“We could really use your help, Sweetie.” Ord said as Sweetie is starting to feel a lot better.

“Well, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to go on another adventure with you guys solo.” Sweetie said. The dragons were feeling happy that their human friend would help after all. Even when she doesn’t have any of her human friends with her. Maui is happy too.

“Maui says she'll look by the waterfall…” Zak replied.

“...so, we'll go the other way.” Wheezie continued as Maui squeaks more.

“You bet, Maui. We’ll meet you back at the island in the middle of the lagoon.” Ord said as Maui dives in and is on her way to the waterfall.

“Well, what are we waiting for?” Let's rub-a-dub-dub and get in the sub.” Wheezie exclaimed as everyone got on board the submarine and it dove down and they set off to the Dragoon Lagoon Island.

“Wow, I've always wanted to go on an underwater adventure, but not like this.” Sweetie exclaimed as she looks at many fish, flora and all types of stuff underwater.

“I know, right! I have never been in a submarine before.” agreed Wheezie before Sweetie saw Ord holding his breath.

“Wow, I've always wanted to go on an underwater adventure, but not like this. I have never been in a submarine before.” Sweetie exclaimed before she saw Ord holding his breath.

“Uh, Ord. What are you doing?” Sweetie asked

“Holding my breath.” Ord replied as Sweetie was laughing.

“You don't have to hold your breath, Ord.” Wheezie said, giggling

“Yeah, you can breathe in a submarine, even when you’re underwater.” Zak continues as Ord lets it all out and he recovers.

“Boy, am I happy to hear that.” Ord said, relieved.

Sweetie sees a periscope and looks at all the fish, the sea beetles, eels and everything! She sure was amazed. It wasn’t long until Sweetie found something.

“Hey, I think I see Maui.” Sweetie replied. Zak and Wheezie come in and look in the periscope. They were arguing which one of them gets to look at what their human friend found. They have eventually decided that they take turns. Zak looks first. It turns out that Sweetie didn’t find Maui. She found a jellyfish!

“Oh, it’s just a jellyfish.” Zak groaned.

“Now what we need to find is a peanut butter fish. We can have peanut butter and jellyfish sandwiches.” Wheezie giggled as she and Zak went back to the pilot’s wheel.

“Poor Lanai. Out in the big lagoon all alone without her sister.” Ord said, feeling bad.

“Just like me. I’m done. I want to go home.” Sweetie Belle groaned, feeling gloomy again.

“But we haven't found Lanai yet.” complained Zak.

“I know, but I miss Rarity.” Sweetie continued.

“What are we going to do, Zaky?” Wheezie asked. Eventually, Zak had gotten an idea.

“Maybe Sweetie will feel better if we give her a picture of Rarity.” Zak exclaimed as he pulled out a picture of Rarity that was from an unseen moment where Quetzal took a picture of the Rainbooms, Spike, CMCs and Diamond Tiara.

“Love it!” Wheezie replied happily.

“Here, Sweetie.” Zak said, giving the picture to the gloomy girl. Once she touched the picture, she started to feel better.

“Aw, thanks. I guess having a picture does make me feel a little better.” Sweetie exclaimed

“So can we keep looking?” Ord asked.

“Sure. I can stick around for a while.” Sweetie answered, happy that she has a memory photo of her sister with her.

“Great. While we look, we can sing a seasick sea song.” Wheezie exclaimed, giggling as she started to sing with Zak blowing some music with his horn.

♪ Come, all ye sailors and listen to me. Yo-ho, blow the dragon down ’cause I am the captain whose name is Wheezie! Yo-ho, blow the dragon down! ♪ Ord and Sweetie Belle sang along.

While they were singing, an octopus appeared and caught them in the submarine! Everyone screamed.

“What was that?” asked Ord, fearfully.

It's a sea monster. Sweetie shouted, scared.

“He's got us. Abandon ship. Dragons first” cried Zak.

“Oh, keep your scales on, Zaky. It's just a friendly octopus.” said Wheezie, calming Zak down.

“Wanna play with me?” said the octopus in a friendly manner.

“We can’t. We have to look for our little lost sea dragon.” Ord said.

“I have to get home to my sister.” Sweetie said.

“But I wanna play.” shouted the octopus, throwing a fit and shaking the submarine around.

“I don't think he's gonna let us go.” Zak cried.

“W-W-W-What are we gonna do?” said Ord fearfully.

Out of options, Zak had an idea.

“Go fish.” replied Zak.

“This is no time to go fishing, Zaky.” said Wheezie.

“No, no, not that kind of go fish. The card game kind.” Zak explained as he pulled out some cards.

“Rarity and I would play that game all the time!” Sweetie said.

“Oh, I just love card games. Can I play? Can I?” the Octopus asked happily.

“How's that card game gonna help us get away from the octopus?” whispered Sweetie.

“You'll see.” said Zak, as he grabbed a deck of cards then shuffled the cards, while the octopus was watching. “Help me give out seven cards to everyone, Wheezie.”

“I'd love to.” said Wheezie as she gave the cards to everyone, bit by bit. A few moments later, the game had finally begun.

“Open the hatch, Ord.” commanded Zak.

Ord opened the hatch, while Zak gave Mr. Octopus 7 cards.

“And now seven for Mr. Octopus.” Zak said as he handed over the seven cards to the octopus. “You go first, Sweetie.” said Zak.

“Uh, got any fives, Wheezie?” asked Sweetie.

“Hm.” said Wheezie as she started looking at the 5’s cards.

“Will you hurry up!” Yelled Zak.

“One, two, three.” counted Wheezie while holding the 5’s cards and laughed.

Sweetie grabbed a 5 card and put it on the deck.

“Okay, Mr. Octopus. Got any nines?” asked Zak.

He looked for any nines but there were none.

“Uh-uh. Go fish.” said Mr. Octopus. “You got a jack, Zak?” he asked.

“No. Go fish.” said Zak. “Take your card already.” he cried as Mr Octopus looked for a card, unaware that they were trying to get away from him.

“It worked.” cried Ord.

“Way to go, Zaky.” said Wheezie

“Full speed ahead.” said Zak as he activated the engines, causing them to run away in a flash.

“Hey, no fair.” Mr. Octopus complained.

A few moments later, after they escaped from Mr. Octopus, the gang were continuing riding around the whole sea finding Lanai, but no luck. Meanwhile, Sweetie was still missing Rarity.

“We’ve been looking for a long, long time. We haven't seen Lanai anywhere.” Ord said.

“I miss my Rarity.” sighed Sweetie sadly.

“We can’t stop looking now.” Ord said, telling her not to call it quits.

“But I wanna go home.” Sweetie complained.

“Maybe we better turn around, Wheezie.” Zak said.

“Wait, Sweetie wasn't missing Rarity so much before.” said Wheezie.

“When?” asked Zak.

“When we were singing.” replied Wheezie

“…and played Go Fish.” said Zak. You’re a genius, Wheezie.”

“I’m cute too.” exclaimed Wheezie, giggling.

“Wheezie is right. There must be something you can do, Sweetie, that's so much fun, you won't think about Rarity so much.” said Ord.

“Like what?” Sweetie asked.

“I know. How'd you like to be a sub captain?” Wheezie asked.

“Really?” Sweetie said.

“She's all yours, Captain Sweetie Belle.” Wheezie replies as she and Zak move from the captain’s wheel and Sweetie Belle takes over.

♪ Come, all ye sailors and listen to me. Yo-ho, blow the dragon down ’Cause Sweetie Belle is the captain who's sailing to sea Yo-ho, blow the dragon down! ♪ Sweetie Belle sang as Ord, Zak and Wheezie sang along.

Eventually they have arrived on an island they were searching for.

“Land-ho.” cried Sweetie, just as Maui started chirping asking where Lani is.

“Uh-uh. We didn't find Lanai either.” Wheezie said to Maui.

“It's getting real late.” Said Zak.

“I guess it's time for Max to go home.” Ord said.

“I wish we could’ve found her, but thanks for the neato submarine ride. I couldn't have stayed in Dragon Land without Rarity if I wasn't with my best friends.” said Sweetie.

Suddenly, Maui started to chirp happily about what Sweetie said.

“What'd he say?” Sweetie asked.

“That you just helped her figure out where Lanai is.” Wheezie explained.

“I did?” asked Sweetie.

"Yeah, come on.” said Zak as they went back to the sub. They follow Maui until they both find Lanai with some doodle fairies, reuniting them happily.

“It's Lanai.” Sweetie exclaimed.

“We found her.” Wheezie said happily.

“Way to go, Sweetie.” Ord said.

“You're the best.” Zak said.

“What did I do?” Sweetie asked before Maui explained in chirps while Zak translated for her.

“When you said you couldn't have stayed in Dragon Land without your best friends…” Zak said

“Maui figured that Lanai might feel the same way and be with her best friends.” continued Wheezie.

"You helped find Lanai, Sweetie. In fact, you did it even though Rarity wasn't here with you. You're my hero.” said Ord as he hugged his human friend.

“Thank you all. Without your help, I would’ve missed her all the time.” said Sweetie as everyone laughed.

It was time for Sweetie Belle to head home. “I wish, I wish, to use this rhyme, to go back home, until next time.” she recited as she got back home safely.

She re-materialized in her room to find that Rarity was looking for her. Rarity has turned the place upside down to find her little sister. Sweetie Belle showed up and Rarity was happy to see her again.

“Oh, Sweetie! Where have you been?” Rarity asked as she hugged her little sister.

“It’s a long story. Our closets started glowing and you were already gone when I called out for you. The dragons needed us, but I went solo.” Sweetie explained.

“Really? I am so proud of you having your first Dragon Land adventure on your own. Please continue.” Rarity cheered, kissing her sister’s cheek.

“Sure. Anything for my sister.” Sweetie said as she continued to tell her older sister about her adventure.
