Tails You Lose (featuring Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo and Diamond Tiara)

It was a normal day at Canterlot City and Scootaloo was pretending to be Ord while Diamond Tiara is on her phone, posting and keeping herself updated on X (Twitter). Suddenly, the door was open and out came Rainbow Dash, looking very angry.

“Huh?!” Scootaloo reacts.

“What happened?” Diamond Tiara asked.

“Hey, guys.” Rainbow Dash said.

Scoots knew Rainbow Dash was feeling depressed, so she decided to pretend to be Ord.

“I’m not Scoots, my name is Ord. Wanna play Dragon? We can fly, we can eat dragon berries and we can make dragon corn.” Scoots said, imitating Ord’s voice.

“Not right now.” Rainbow said sadly.

“Come on. It’ll be great.” Scoots said.

“Yeah, it’ll be awesome.” Diamond replied, still posting on social media.

“No. No! NO!” yelled Rainbow.

“Whoa! What’s wrong?” said Scoots in her normal voice, startled.

“I lost the school soccer game. I’m never ever going to play again!” Rainbow sulked.

“Never, ever?” Scoots asked, still imitating Ord, when suddenly, Rainbow changed her mood and asked, “Hey "Ord", how come you're not in Dragon Land?”

Diamond Tiara giggled at her question as she put her phone down and got herself ready to go to Dragon Land for another fun day.

Instantly, Scootaloo ran to Rainbow Dash’s closet. They put their dragon badges on, held the dragon scale together and said the magic phrase: "I wish, I wish, with all my heart, to fly with Dragons, in a land apart!” They all said in unison as the dragons on Rainbow's wall fly off and swirl around them all and off they go!

In the river, the 3 dragons Ord, Cassie, Zak & Wheezie were playing freeze dance, Zak and Wheezie were dressed in marching uniforms for the game.

“The wings on the dragon go up and down, up and down, up and down. The wings in the dragon go up and down, up and down –” sung Zak calmly, while the others were dancing slowly. This made Wheezie so annoyed, so she said angrily; “OHH!!! They're dragons, Zak! Not snails!”

“Slow music is better for the game.” Zak replied.

“Is not!” argued Wheezie.

“Is too!” argued Zak.

“Is not!” argued Wheezie.

“Is too” argued Zak.

“Is NOT!” argued Wheezie.

So, Wheezie decided to do the freeze dance a little better and made it faster and cooler.

“The wings on the dragon go up and down, up and down, up and down. The wings in the dragon go up and down, all over Dragon Land. The wings on the dragon go up and down, up and down, up and down. The wings in the dragon go up and down, all over Dragon Land.” sung Wheezie. in an energetic mood, which makes the dragons dance wildly and happily. “Freeze!” commanded Wheezie. Ord and Cassie froze on cue. Wheezie laughed and said, “I just LOVE freeze dance.”

Suddenly the 3 girls start to re-materialize after being transported to Dragon Land.

“Hi, everybody!” The girls said.

Their dragon friends said hi.

“They're here!” Zak said.

“Perfect timing! You wanna play freeze dance?” asked Wheezie.

“What's that?” asked Diamond.

“Only the greatest game ever! Zak and I sing, and everybody else dances as wild as they want!!” Wheezie explained.

“…and when the singing stops, you freeze! Zak continued.

“Like a statue?” asked Scoots.

“No, like a popsicle.” answered Ord, while moving.

“YOU'RE OUT!” yelled Zak.

“Ord isn't out. That's just practice.” said Cassie.

“Then I'm practicing saying, ‘You're out.’” Zak replied as everybody laughed, thinking Zak was joking.

“I so want to play freeze dance! How do you win?” Diamond said.

“You just have to be the last one still frozen.” Zak explained.

“Wheezie, the Queen of Freezie, asks "Is everybody ready?"” Wheezie said.

“Ready!” They all said.

“A-one, a-two, a-one, two, three…” said Zak.

“The fire from the dragon goes puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff. The fire from the dragon goes puff, puff, puff, all over Dragon Land. The fire from the dragon goes puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff. The fire from the dragon goes puff, puff, puff, all over Dragon Land.” Wheezie sang.

Everyone was having a good time playing freeze dance, some of them fell down, but none got hurt. Even Diamond and Cassie bumped into each other and laughed because it’s a fun game. They wagged their tails, flapped their wings and did other funny moves.

“That was funny!” Scoots said.

Then, Zak commanded; “FREEZE!”

Everyone froze. But for Cassie, she was still airborne, which caused her to fall down on the ground.

Zak knew Cassie moved, he said; "You're OUT!”

Cassie knew what Zak meant. She said, “Oh, well.”

“Everybody, unfreeze!” Wheezie said. Everybody moved, because the game is still in motion.

“I won!” cried Diamond.

“You haven't won yet. There's still three of you left.” Zak said, as Diamond sees Rainbow and Scoots laughing and cheering.

“Not for long!” said Diamond Tiara, confident that she’ll beat Rainbow and Scootaloo.

“Ding! Round two!” Zak announced.

The music starts to resume but this time, in a different beat.

“Da, da, dum, da, da, dum, da, da, dum, dum dum... da, da, dum, da, da, dum…” scatted Wheezie.

“Go, everybody, go!” cheered Cassie.

“Come on, Zak! Kick it!” Wheezie said.

They fall and Zak hurts his foot from the fall, causing him so much pain.

“YEOW!!” Zak screamed.

“Oh, sorry!” “Wheezie apologized as Zak cried in so much pain.

“Freeze!” Wheezie commanded.

Everyone was frozen, not even moving a muscle. Including Diamond Tiara, who is standing on 1 leg. But she couldn’t keep her balance, which led to her falling into the river.

“YOU'RE OUT!” Zak commanded, seeing that Diamond moved.

"No! It’s a do-over. I wasn’t ready." Diamond said angrily while she got out of the water.

“No do-overs. That’s the rule. You move, you lose.” Zak explained the rules of the game.

“But I can freeze again. Watch.” Diamond complained, and she strikes the same pose from before, “See?” She said, but she didn’t last long as she fell into the water again, this time with wet flowers and weeds in her hair. Ord, Rainbow and Scootaloo are still frozen, but Scootaloo is struggling a bit.

“Everybody unfreeze.” Wheezie commanded.

Then everyone ran to Diamond who was still in the water, looking very worried.

“Diamond, are you okay?” Rainbow said.

“Pretty hat, Diamond”. laughed Ord.

“Yeah, it’s like it’s made from nature.” Scootaloo said while laughing.

“You’re…” said Zak.

“...OUT!” continued Wheezie.

“I’m not out! You don’t play fair! I want another chance!” Diamond complained.

“Sorry Diamond, but we have to play the game by the rules.” Cassie explained.

“Yeah. Rules are rules and we have to obey them to have fun." agreed Rainbow

“Rules stink and losing stinks!” Diamond said, angrily. She’s clearly showing that she’s a sore loser.

"Look at it this way, Diamond; next time you might win." Wheezie said.

"She's right. We played games, and I always obey the rules as a loyal Rainboom!" Rainbow agreed.

"No way! I’m never ever playing freeze-dance again! I’m going home!" yelled Diamond, clearly having enough.

“Don’t go, Diamond.” Cassie complained.

“Let's go, Rainbow & Scoots.” commanded Diamond.

"But I want to stay here and play." Scoots said. “I’m with Scoots. You're not gonna ruin our fun just like that. Are you?” agreed Rainbow, clearly showing signs of annoyance towards Diamond's stubbornness.

“I said, 'Let's go, Rainbow & Scoots!'” Diamond said sternly in a bad mood.

“Oh, can’t the girls stay?” complained Ord.

“We’ll finish this game, and then we’ll play a new one.” Zak suggested.

"No! I’m not playing anymore! Freeze dance is for dweebs." Diamond replied angrily.

“Well, we’re gonna stay!” Scoots said. “Yeah!” agreed Rainbow.

"Fine! Have it your way. All of you have fun with your dweeb game!” Diamond yells angrily as she walks away and says the code rhyme to go back home. “I wish, I wish, to use this rhyme, to go back home, until next time!” She is surrounded by sparkles and disappears alone.

“Bye, Diamond.” Scootaloo said sadly.

“Let’s just pray she came back to her senses and has calmed down…” Rainbow replied.

Eventually, she returns to her house back to her dragon-ified room, takes off her dragon badge, throws it on the ground in frustration and sits on her bed as her pet cat, Dazzle, comes in and sits on her lap.

"Hey, Dazzle. What do you want to do today? asked Diamond, petting Dazzle.

"No silly games, that's for sure." Dazzle replied, just when Diamond got an idea as she brought out her iPhone.

"How about posting social media? I can't lose at that." Diamond exclaimed, opening X (Twitter) and making a new post. When she's done, she asks "What do you think?" as she shows her cat her new post

She posted a meme of Drama Letter reading her book, with the text implying that she is indeed a nerd.

"It's one of my classmates reading like she's a total nerd." Diamond laughed, just as Dazzle approaches her and consoles her.

"If you're here by yourself, would you feel lonely? I bet your friends miss you." Dazzle said, with Diamond starting to feel better.

"You're right, Dazzle. I should indeed go back and apologize. Thank you." Diamond thanked Dazzle as he scampers out of her room. She then puts her dragon badge back on, goes to her closet and holds her scale as she recites the rhyme. "I wish, I wish, with all my heart, to fly with dragons, in a land apart." she recited as the dragons on her walls fly off, swirl around her and off she goes back to Dragon Land!

She is brought to the river, where the game is still going on. All her friends are laughing and having a good time. Diamond is clearly starting to regret going back because she thinks that they're having fun without her. Quetzal comes upon her.

"Freeze!" Quetzal commanded. "Quetzal!" Diamond replied, seeing the wise old dragon beside her.

"Aren’t you playing, Diamond Tiara?" Quetzal asked, concerned about how she's feeling.

"No. Freeze dance is clearly rigged and it's for dweebs!" Diamond replied, stubbornly.

"Freeze!" Zak commanded as everyone freezes. Just then, Ord falls out of the sky and into the river, water splashes all over Zak and Wheezie. A fish who ended up in Zak's hat squirts water in his face, with Wheezie laughing.

"Looks like fun to me." Quetzal said, clearly happy to see that the others are having fun.

"Yeah, but watch. Ord's going to get mad just like I did." Diamond exclaimed, clearly jumping to conclusions too soon.

"YOU'RE OUT!" Zak commanded as Ord came out of the water and dried off. He accepts defeat and is not mad. He is a good sport indeed and that's what makes the game fair for everyone.

Ord doesn't seem too upset about being out." Quetzal says to Diamond, clearly confused because of what she's telling him. Just as the gang resumes their game.

"Ord doesn't know that games are only fun if you win." Diamond explained, clearly bossy.

"Tell me, querida, are you having fun standing here while others are playing?" Quetzal asked, with Diamond replying with a sad "no".

"Then what's more important? Winning or playing with your friends?" Quetzal asked, giving her a choice.

"Winning is the most important thing! ... Isn't it?" Diamond said, clearly not understanding what Quetzal's trying to teach her.

"Is it?" he asked as Diamond saw her friends playing, starting to feel bad for what she said about Freeze Dance. She finally gets the courage to come up to her friends with Quetzal by her side.

"Freeze!" Quetzal commanded as they all stopped the game and saw Diamond Tiara's back.

"Diamond, you're back! We missed you!" Scootaloo exclaimed, seeing that her friend came back to Dragon Land. "I'm happy too, Scoots," Rainbow replied.

"Wow, I just loooooove having you back! And your front too." Wheezie giggles, hugging Diamond. It's just then Zak sees Rainbow and Scootaloo moved.

"Oh, Rainbow and Scoots!" Zak begins. "You're out!" Wheezie continued. The game ends with Cassie being the only one still frozen, thus she wins the game.

"And the winner is... Cassie! Unfreeze." Wheezie congratulates Cassie for her big win. This time, Diamond feels happy for Cassie.

"Diamond Tiara! You’re h-- Did you say I won? I won, I won, I won! Ready for a new game?"

"Yeah. Let's play again, and this time, I'll prove that I'm not truly a sore loser." Diamond answered as everyone got ready.

"Wait. Let the maestro play the music." Quetzal volunteered. He gets out a baton of his own and conjures up a conductor's hat. He puts his baton in the river and makes music notes come out.

"Shall we dance?" Wheezie asked as they all started dancing. Eventually, Ord and Cassie do some synchronized swimming in the river.

Suddenly, Quetzal commanded "Freeze!" Just like that, they freeze. Ord and Cassie, who were underwater at the time, choke and gasp for breath, and come right out.

"Oh, well." Cassie groaned, still showing that she's a good sport.

"Ord, Cassie... Aaaaaaadiós!" Quetzal commanded as Ord and Cassie left the game. Just like that, the dancing continues.

"Freeze!" Quetzal commanded again. Just like that, they freeze again. Diamond, who was balancing on one leg with her arms up, suddenly stumbles and falls.

"Sorry, querida!" Quetzal replied.

"You mean, I’m out?!" Diamond asked, starting to show signs that she's a sore loser.

"Don’t love this!" Wheezie said, thinking that Diamond's going to lose it again. "I can’t look!" agreed Zak as Diamond Tiara started to leave again.

"Do you think she's gonna leave again?" Ord asked, when suddenly, Diamond stops and laughs "I'm just kidding! Hurry up so we can play again!"

"Sure. Diamond's honor" the others replied as Quetzal winked at Diamond, feeling proud for her.

After everyone finished the last game of Freeze Dance, it was time to go home. “I wish, I wish, to use this rhyme, to go back home, until next time.” Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo and Diamond Tiara said in unison as they went back home. Just like that, they all return to Rainbow Dash's room.

"Scoots, did you see where my soccer ball went?" Rainbow Dash asked, wondering where her ball went. Scoots then goes to Rainbow's closet as she remembers where she put it.

"Hey, Rainbow. I found your ball. It got hidden in a pile of soccer clothes" Scootaloo exclaimed, giving the soccer ball to Rainbow who is happy to see that her ball is okay.

"Way to go, squirt! You truly are a good friend." Rainbow Dash replied, clearly happy to see that her friend is doing a good deed. Diamond was feeling happy for them of course.

"Great work, Scoots." Diamond exclaimed, happy that she finds Rainbow's ball.
