The Fury is Out on This One (featuring Sunset Shimmer, Scootaloo and Fluttershy)

It’s a normal day at Canterlot City and Scootaloo comes over to Fluttershy’s cottage so she can relax after a hard day at school. She failed a test, her lunch was ruined and her time with her friends had suddenly been canceled, because they were too busy with their own things. She also has Sunset Shimmer with her as her guide to help her relax and calm down.

“I just can’t believe I had a bad day at school and my friends bailed on me, just because they’re too busy with their own things.” Scootaloo complained.

“It’s not a big deal. Everyone has their own stuff to do and even have bad days.” Fluttershy said.

“Yeah, she’s right, Scoots.” Sunset spoke. “I am a rage gamer, and I get mad sometimes. I always know that when I think positive things about my days, I feel better.” she continued as Scootaloo huffed.

“Oh, come on. You can’t stay mad forever.” Fluttershy said in worry, just before she got an idea. She went to her closet, put on her dragon badge and held her dragon scale. “How about we go to Dragon Land. That will cheer you up.” she asked.

“Come on. It wouldn’t hurt to visit our dragon friends.” Sunset replied as she grabbed her dragon badge out of her pocket and puts it on.

“I guess you’re right.” Scootaloo said, starting to feel a little better as she put on her dragon badge and she & Sunset went to Fluttershy’s room.

The trio held the dragon scale together and said the magic phrase: "I wish, I wish, with all my heart, to fly with Dragons, in a land apart!” They all said in unison as the dragons on Fluttershy's wall flew off, swirled around them all and off they went!

In Dragon Land, Ord is coming out of a bush as Cassie flies after him.

“I'm gonna get you, Ord!” Cassie said, playfully.

“No, you're not!” Ord replied, laughing before he trips on a rock, making him fall face first into a mud puddle. Cassie flies over and tags him

“You're it! Cassie exclaimed as she flew while Ord was chasing after her.

“Here I come!” Ord exclaimed as he chased after the pink dragon.

As the chase continues, Cassie spots a cloud of sparkles and files over to it. It's a perfect spot where Sunset, Scootaloo and Fluttershy re-materialized. Ord sees them and skids right in front of them

“Woah!” Ord exclaimed

“Sunset! Fluttershy! Scoots! Hurry! We're playing dragon tag, and Ord's it!” Cassie warns before she flies away when Ord shows up.

“Not anymore!” Ord said as she tags Sunset’s shoulder. “Now you’re it, Sunny!” Everyone runs/flies from her. Eventually she tags Scootaloo.

“Oh, man. I’m it.” Scootaloo said as Fluttershy stood in front of her.

“Come on, Scootaloo. Catch me!” Fluttershy said as Scootaloo begins to approach her. Unfortunately, when Fluttershy is about to be tagged, she ponied up and flew off the ground. Scootaloo tripped and fell to the ground. The little adrenaline junkie is starting to get a little annoyed.

“Hey, that’s not fair!” Scootaloo yelled while Fluttershy was giggling in shyness. She suddenly hears something in a bush. She thought she found someone she could tag. She searches the bush only to find out that nothing’s there.

“Hey, who was in there?” Scootaloo asked before Zak and Wheezie spoke up.

“Up here!” Zak exclaimed as Scootaloo looks up and sees Zak and Wheezie flying high above her. Scootaloo jumps up trying to catch them but is not able to.

“Aw, I can’t reach!” Scootaloo complained as Ord playfully ran past her.

“Hey, Scoots! Try and catch me!” Ord laughs as he runs away while Scootaloo runs after him. Eventually, Ord reaches a dragonberry bush and sniffs it. He takes a berry and eats it. He sure loves dragonberries. Meanwhile, Scootaloo stops and sees Ord stopping for a snack.

“I gotcha now!” Scootaloo exclaimed, thinking she was about to tag someone for a change. Unfortunately, Ord flew up and Scootaloo ran into the bush. Fluttershy flies down and ponies down. She was worried about her friend. Everyone got worried.

“Scootaloo, are you okay?” Fluttershy asked as everyone approached her. Scootaloo pulls herself angrily out of the bush, covered in dragonberry juice.

“It's not fair!! I can't tag anyone!!” Scootaloo yelled, crossing her arms.

“Come on, Scootaloo. It's just a game.” Sunset said.

“Don't get mad.” Cassie asked, worried.

“But I am mad!! How can I catch anyone?!” Scootaloo yelled as she picked up a rock and threw it angrily on the ground.

“I can't even fly!! You're all too good! I hate dragon tag!!” Scootaloo shouted as she reached her boiling point. She picks up a strange looking pod and throws it angrily as well. The pod flies right past Zak and Wheezie and it almost hits them, but it hits a tree instead, where it breaks in half. Everyone gasps

“Great balls of fire!!!” Wheezie shouts in panic as a small creature jumps out of the pod.

“Yahoo!! I'm free! Which means somebody around here must be mad and I’m betting it’s you.” The creature exclaims in happiness as he sees Scootaloo with an angry frown on her face and goes up to her.

“Who are you?” Scootaloo asked.

“I'm a fury.” the creature replied as steam whistles out of the little creature's head, startling everyone.

“Oh, my. He sure looks scary.” Fluttershy whimpered.

“So, tell me. What made you so angry?” the fury asked as Scootaloo stomps her right as she shouts.

“I never, ever get anybody at tag!!” Scootaloo replies.

“Oh, you are mad!” The fury cackled and grew a bit bigger. “Tell me more.”

“Everyone's faster than me!!!” Scootaloo continues as the fury laughs again and grows bigger to the size of Scootaloo.

“Look! The fury's getting bigger!!” Cassie exclaimed.

“Anything else bugging you? Getting your goat? Growing your chops?” The fury asked as Sunset pulled Scootaloo away.

“Leave my friend alone!” Sunset commanded.

“Yeah!” agreed Ord.

“Hey, I didn't make him mad!” The fury cackles and hops into a nearby bush. He pops his head out one last time. “I'll be back!” The fury taunts as more steam comes out of his head before he disappears into the bush.

“I don't like the sound of that.” Zak spoke as Fluttershy whimpers.

“Who was that guy?” asked Scootaloo as Cassie goes over to the tall grass and notices the pod that Scootaloo had thrown, now broken in half. She picks up the two halves.

“We better find out.” Cassie replied before they all went to the School in the Sky to see Quetzal. Everyone gathered around the wise dragon to learn about the fury.

“Here it is in the big storybook.” Quetzal said as he sprinkled in some magic and an image of the fury appeared in the book. “Furies are magical creatures who love to see you angry. Because they grow and grow when you can't calm down.” he continued as the image shows that a fury is shown to be getting bigger. Fluttershy started to get so scared that Sunset had to comfort her.

“There, there Fluttershy. It’s okay. I know we’ll get rid of that dastardly creature. How do we get rid of him?” Sunset asked as she let go of her friend.

“That's up to you, Scootaloo. Since you let the fury out of the tree pod, you are the only one who can put him back inside.” Quetzal tells Scootaloo as the fury is shown going back in the pod as the image disappears.

“But the fury won't fit. He's already too big.” Cassie complained.

“Yeah, he keeps getting bigger and bigger.” Zak spoke as Quetzal closed the book.

“Ah, I know it's not easy for you, Scootaloo, but if you can calm down when you're around the fury, the fury will get smaller and smaller.” Quetzal continued.

“You mean, I can't get mad? Ever?!” Scootaloo asked, worried.

“Oh, no Scootaloo. Everyone gets angry sometimes. The trick is to calm down after you do.” Quetzal explained as Scootaloo starts huffing and crossing her arms again.

“But how can I calm down?! When I get mad, I get......SO MAD!!!!” she complained. Luckily, she has friends around her who can help.

“Don't worry buddy. We'll help you.” Ord replied as everyone else nodded their heads in agreement.

“Yeah, we could never leave a friend on her own.” replied Fluttershy.

“I had anger issues before, now I can calm myself down, thanks to my friends.” Sunset replied.

Later, the gang is back outside, finding a trail of rather large footprints.

"Hurry everybody! The fury went this way!" Fluttershy said.

Fluttershy leads the others over a log over a river. As Scootaloo tries to follow, she keeps wobbling and getting bumped by the others.

"Sorry, Scoots." Zak apologized as Scootaloo gets a little annoyed, but still continues.

"Here, Scoots. Let me help you." Ord said, trying to lend a hand.

"I don't need help! I can do this myself." Scootaloo said angrily. Scootaloo keeps walking but starts wobbling again until she falls off the log and into the water, and boy, she is not happy.

Are you okay? asked Fluttershy in concern. Unfortunately, Scootaloo is not okay as she is soaking wet in the river

"No fair!! I always go last, and I can't even keep my balance!!" Scootaloo said angrily. Suddenly, the fury pops his head out of a bush behind Scootaloo.

"Is somebody here getting a little angry? Fury said as he approached Scootaloo. "Steam about to boil over?"

"Yeah!! Me!!" Scootaloo said angrily as she sat down angrily with her arms crossed. She then looks behind her to see the fury has grown, almost the size of a teen!

“Uh-oh…” Fluttershy said “I think I know what that means…”

“Yeah… I hope she’ll get back to her senses…” Sunset said, worried.

"I love a good tantrum in the morning. Fury cheered happily as Scootaloo got back on her feet. "Oh, goody! You're still mad!"

"What am I gonna do?! I don't know how to get un-mad!" Scootaloo asked angrily.

"Whenever we get mad, our mom tells us..." Zak explained.

"...to sit on a quiet pillow until we calm down." continued Wheezie.

The fury laughs and kicks some water at their faces, with Scootaloo still angry.

"Ord, do you have a quiet pillow in your hoard?" Fluttershy asked as Ord started searching in his pouch.

"Let’s see." Ord said as he searched for everything, orange shorts, and a hot dog. Eventually, he finds something that could help Scootaloo.

"I've found it! I've found it!" Ord replied.

"A quiet pillow?" Scootaloo asked.

"No." Ord replies as pulls out a rubber duck and pets it. "My rubber ducky. I've been looking everywhere for it."

"What about my pillow?!" Scootaloo said, as she was growing impatient.

“Scootaloo… don’t pull that now.” Sunset said, just as Wheezie spots something close by, and suddenly it gives her an idea.

"Ah-ha!" Wheezie exclaimed as Zak and Wheezie walked over to a rock.

"‘Ah-ha’ what? It’s a rock." Zak said, clearly confused.

"Not just a rock, Zaky. We can make this a quiet rock. Well, since we don’t have a quiet pillow." Wheezie exclaimed as she pats down on the rock. "Sit down, Scoots." Wheezie ordered as Scootaloo climbs up on the rock and sits down.

"Now what?" Scootaloo asked.

"Take deep breaths." Wheezie instructed as Scootaloo starts breathing rather fast.

"Not so fast. Like this: In [inhales slowly], out [exhales slowly]." Zak said calmly as he starts breathing slowly. Scootaloo tries again, much slower.

"Hey Scootaloo. Whatcha doin'?" Fury asked as he suddenly appears, hops over to Scootaloo and splashes her in the face which has her cross her arms

"I'm sitting on my quiet rock and I'm getting un-mad." Scootaloo said. The fury is shocked to hear that and begins to shrink, realizing Scootaloo is calming down.

"It's working, Scoots! The Fury's shrinking!" Fluttershy cheered.

“Scootaloo… keep doing it, whatever you do, don’t lose your temper.” Sunset said.

"Scootaloo, don't you want to stay mad? Remember how you felt when you couldn't catch anyone playing tag and when you were stuck going last?" Fury said, reminiscing the incident. Scootaloo closes her eyes and puts her hands over her ears trying to ignore whatever the Fury is saying to her.

"I'm on my quiet rock. Go away! Scootaloo instructed when suddenly she feels something move as the rock she's sitting on is actually a turtle! The turtle walks away, causing her to fall into the water and get wet.

"Oh, great!!!" Scootaloo said, irritated as she got up on her feet, feeling even angrier than before.

"Oh, she's getting mad!! I can feel it!!!" Fury cheered.

"It's not fair!!! I'm always falling, getting bumped and going last! AND I HATE IT!!!!" Scootaloo shouted even more angry, as she stomped her foot in the water, making a splash, causing the Fury to laugh as he grew even bigger.

“Uh oh… this doesn’t look good.” Sunset said.

“It’s like she’s becoming like my Power Pony alter-ego when I went into the Power Pony comic, but evil…” Fluttershy said, remembering the Movie Studio trip and reading a Power Pony comic with Spike.

"Ah, music to my ears!" Fury cackles as Scootaloo backs away. The fury laughs evilly and leaves the river. He gives another loud steam whistle before running away.

"I tried." Scootaloo said as she sat down, feeling bad.

"We know, Scoots. At least you calmed down for a little while.": Fluttershy said.

"Yeah. I guess I did. Maybe I can try again." Scootaloo said, feeling a little calmer.

Moments later, Sunset, Scootaloo and the dragons tried to find the fury while Fluttershy ponied up and flew alongside them. Eventually, Wheezie spotted him.

"Down there!" Wheezie exclaimed as the fury laughed while the dragons followed. He hops over to the far side of a rock wall. The gang lands on the opposite side of the wall.

"The fury's so big now! What if he never stops growing?!" Cassie asked, worried.

“Exactly my thought.” Sunset replied.

"I don't even wanna think about it." Zak said

"Me neither." Fluttershy agreed.

One-by-one, the dragons and Sunset climb up the rocks while Fluttershy hovered up. However, Scootaloo is behind everyone, struggling to get a good view.

"Hey! I can't see!!" Scootaloo complains as she climbs up on the back of Ord but ends up falling back and is bouncing on a bush.

"Ugh!! Where is he?! I never get to see anything!!!" Scootaloo said angrily as she started shaking furiously.

"Scoots, buddy! Stay calm!" Ord cried as Scootaloo started hopping with rage until she fell back on the bush. One bounce is all it takes to send Scootaloo flying right over the rock wall, landing right behind the Fury.

"Oh, goody!! Look who's here!! Still mad, I hope!" Fury said.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!" Scootaloo ordered, enraged.

"I love it when you stay mad!!! Fury laughs as he grows to a monstrous size. Scootaloo's friends are watching with horror from behind the rocks.

“I can’t… believe it…” Sunset said in shock after seeing the growth of the Fury.

"Oooh, he's bigger than me!!" Ord said, scared.

"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!" Zak yells as tries to run away, but being attached to Wheezie prevents him from doing so.

"Count backwards, Scoots! That's what dad says to do when I get mad at you! Then I don't think about being mad!" Fluttershy commands as Scootaloo starts trying to count but she is still too angry to do so.

"Come on, Scoots! Blow off some steam!" Fury ordered as steam came out of his stack, frightening Scootaloo.

"What about this: think about the good times you have with your friends, Scoots. Thinking positive things always makes me feel better" Sunset said as Scootaloo starts reminiscing about all the good times she had with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle. All that reminiscing had the fury begin to shrink.

• The time she, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle saved Gummy, Pinkie's pet alligator plushie from a claw machine.
• The time Canterlot High had a school play she and her friends were part of.
• All those screenings she held with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle (the Canterlot Movie Club)
• The time she rode with ponied-up Rainbow Dash at the 2013 fall formal.

"Don't listen to your friends! Stay mad!" Fury yelled as he kicked and stomped, toying with her emotions. Scootaloo refuses to listen and keeps reflecting, making the fury shrink even more.

"It's working, Scoots! It's working!!" Fluttershy cheered.

"Love it!!!" Wheezie cried.

"No, no!! Stay mad!! Throw something! Break something!!" Fury cried as he continued shrinking. Once Scootaloo finishes reflecting and reminiscing, she feels better which makes the Fury shrink back down to his normal size. He panicked and started screaming, running around Scootaloo's legs.

“Ha! Looks like we’re the big ones now, huh, Fury?” Scootaloo taunted, happy of what she accomplished. “Ord, can you give me the pod, please?” she asked as Ord handed the pod over to her and she trapped the Fury back inside.

"Gotcha!" Scootaloo exclaimed as Ord hugged her while everyone cheered for victory.

"Alright!" Wheezie cheered, laughing.

"Way to go, Scoots!" Zak said in a happy mood.

"Good job, Scoots!" Fluttershy cheered.

“I knew you’d calm yourself down.” Sunset said in a calm manner and hugged Scootaloo.

“Hey guys… I just want to say, "I'm sorry for being too angry earlier. But thanks to you, If I became SO, SO, angry, the Fury would’ve destroyed Dragon Land including the whole world!” Scootaloo apologized.

“Yeah. But lucky for you, you just calmed down.” Fluttershy said.

“Let’s tell Quetzal about what happened!” Sunset said.

Back at the park, the others told Quetzal about what happened.

"It was the hardest thing for me to do, but my friends helped me." Scootaloo explained.

"I helped with the quiet rock." Wheezie said.

"Me too!" Zak continued.

"I reflected and reminisced about the time I had with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle." Scootaloo said.

"With that, the Fury started to shrink!” Sunset said.

“It was the greatest moment we ever saw!” Fluttershy said.

I'm so proud of you, niño. Quetzal, happy.

"I say it's time for dragon tag! You're it!" Ord said as he tags Scootaloo and runs off as she follows.

"Excuse me, I gotta go play tag." Scootaloo said, stopping to say thanks to the wise dragon.

"Go get 'em, Scoots!" Quetzal cheered as everybody started running as Scootaloo chased after them.

"Run! Everybody Run!" Ord said, playfully laughing.

I'm gonna tag you!" Scootaloo said as keeps on running until she falls forward on the ground. She realized that she tripped over a log, making her frustrated again.

"Hey, that's not fair!! You're all too--" Scootaloo said. It looked like she was about to lose her cool again while the others looked back, feeling a bit worried.

"Is she mad again?!" Cassie asked as she and Fluttershy approached her. As soon as they get near her, Scootaloo smiles.

"Fooled ya!!" Scoots taunted as she tags Fluttershy.

"Tag! You're it, Fluttershy!" Scootaloo said as she got back on her feet and giggled as everyone else ran away. Fluttershy ponied up and started giving chase as everyone had fun.
