Chapters The sorcerers in Equestria: A battle for friendship
The Kyoto Goodwill Event had turned into chaos. What started as a simple competition between the Tokyo and Kyoto students quickly escalated when the special grade curse, Hanami, crashed the party.
Yuji Itadori was doing his best to keep up with Hanami’s relentless attacks, but the situation was spiraling out of control. Even Todo couldn't handle it. “Megumi! Nobara! Stay close!” he shouted, but his voice was drowned out by the sound of battle.
Megumi and Nobara were already injured, barely able to stand. Blood seeped from a gash on Megumi’s abdomen, where Hanami had planted a Cursed Bud while Nobara clutched her side, grimacing in pain. Maki was nearby, struggling to stay on her feet, and Toge had been rendered almost unconscious, his voice spent.
Panda, seeing the state of his friends, made a split-second decision. “Stay behind me! I’ll handle this!” His massive form positioned itself protectively in front of the injured students.
June Kamo rushed to Megumi, placing a firm hand on the injured area, her cursed energy absorbing the thorn. The Cursed Bud came out slowly, but surely. Megumi winced in pain but the bud worked it's way out. He gives June a grateful look, the latter proceeding to grip her Bo staff.
Hanami, sensing the weakness, pressed the attack, but before it could land a devastating blow, a blinding blue light filled the area. Gojo Satoru appeared, his expression uncharacteristically serious.
“Not on my watch,” he said, raising his hand to summon a portal. The plan was to trap Hanami and end the fight, but something went wrong. The portal, instead of closing neatly around the curse, expanded wildly, sucking in everything around it.
“Gojo-sensei!” Yuji yelled, trying to reach the others, but it was too late. The portal’s pull was too strong.
One by one, everyone was dragged into the vortex. Megumi, Nobara, Maki, Toge, Panda, Yuji, June, and the rest of the Kyoto students and even Gojo himself were swallowed by the swirling mass of energy.
When Yuji came to, he was lying in a meadow. The sky was a clear blue, and a gentle breeze rustled the grass around him. For a moment, he thought he was dreaming. Then he noticed the others.
Panda was nearby, carefully tending to the wounded. Nobara lay unconscious beside him, while Megumi, Maki, and Toge were slowly coming to their senses.
“Where… where are we?” Megumi asked, his voice weak as he tried to sit up, only to wince in pain.
“No idea,” Yuji replied, looking around. There were no signs of the portal or Hanami. “This definitely isn’t the school.”
Panda, still in his protective mode, was doing his best to patch up the injuries. “Just rest for now. We’ll figure out where we are later.”
Gojo appeared a few moments later, looking around with a mix of curiosity and concern. “Well, this is new,” he said, surveying the unfamiliar landscape. “But at least everyone’s in one piece. Mostly.”
“Gojo-sensei, what happened?” Maki asked, her voice strained.
“The portal I created must’ve gone haywire,” Gojo explained, kneeling down to check on Toge, who was still struggling to stay awake. “It looks like it dumped us somewhere… unexpected.”
“But where is this place?” Nobara groaned, forcing herself to sit up with Panda’s help. “And how do we get back?”
Gojo shook his head. “I’m not sure. This doesn’t look like any place I’ve been to before. We’ll have to figure it out as we go.”
Yuji stood up, scanning the horizon. In the distance, he could make out what looked like a small town, but it was too far away to see clearly. “Maybe we can find some answers over there,” he suggested, pointing toward the distant buildings.
“We’ll move once everyone’s stable,” Gojo agreed. “For now, rest. We’ll need all our strength to deal with whatever comes next.”
And so, the group settled into the strange, quiet meadow, trying to recover from the battle and the unexpected journey. None of them knew what lay ahead, but they were all determined to stick together and find a way back home.
June smacks her hand on her palm "Oh, maybe this is Hanami's Domain Expansion!"
Her words hung in the air. Gojo's eyes narrowed as he scanned the surroundings. “If this is Hanami’s Domain Expansion, we need to be extremely cautious. Domains are designed to give the user an overwhelming advantage.”
The Kyoto students were dusting themselves off as well and were ready to jump to action. Mai pointed to Canterlot "If we want to find Hanami, then we should start there. She must be hiding in that castle somewhere."
the group charged toward the castle, Hanami made a sudden, destructive move. With a wave of her arm, dark, twisted vines erupted from the ground, slashing through the air and tearing into the elegant structures of Canterlot. The once pristine city was now under attack, with walls crumbling and rooftops collapsing under the force of Hanami’s power.
“Stop her!” Gojo ordered, his voice cutting through the chaos.
Yuji and the others pushed forward, trying to close the distance between them and the rampaging curse. Panda leaped ahead, using his massive form to shield the group from the falling debris. Nobara, despite her injuries, hurled her nails with precision, aiming to pin Hanami down, while Maki and Mai tried to flank her.
But Hanami was relentless. She sent out wave after wave of cursed energy, devastating everything in her path. The citizens of Canterlot fled in terror, their earlier whispers turning into cries of fear.
“Damn it, she’s too strong!” Megumi shouted, summoning his Shikigami to try and hold Hanami back, but even they struggled against her immense power.
Gojo, seeing the destruction Hanami was causing, knew he had to act quickly. He raised his hand, his fingers forming a familiar gesture. “Domain Expansion,” he declared, his voice calm but commanding, “Infinite Void.”
A shimmering, infinite space materialized around them, trapping Hanami within its bounds. The destructive energy she had been wielding was instantly neutralized, leaving her vulnerable. With a swift and precise motion, Gojo exorcised the curse, erasing Hanami from existence in a blinding flash of blue light.
As the light faded, the city of Canterlot was left in ruins. The once-grand structures were now reduced to rubble, and the air was thick with dust and the echoes of what had just transpired. The group stood amidst the wreckage, catching their breath, their expressions a mix of relief and exhaustion.
But before they could fully process what had just happened, a new presence made itself known. The sound of hooves clattering against the cobblestone streets grew louder, and soon, six ponies emerged from the smoke and dust, their eyes wide with shock and suspicion.
Leading them was a cyan pegasus with a rainbow-colored mane, her wings flaring as she hovered in the air. “What the hay just happened here?” she demanded, her voice filled with anger. “Who are you, and what did you do to our city?”
The rest of the ponies—an orange earth pony with a cowboy hat, a pink pony with an unusually poofy mane, a white unicorn with a meticulously styled mane, a yellow pegasus who seemed more timid than the others, and another unicorn with a lavender coat and an aura of authority—stood behind her, their expressions ranging from fear to fury.
Yuji stepped forward, trying to explain, but the rainbow-maned pegasus cut him off. “Do you have any idea what you’ve done? Canterlot is in ruins!”
“Rainbow Dash, calm down!” the lavender unicorn—Twilight Sparkle—finally spoke up, though her voice was tinged with the same suspicion. “We need answers, but we can’t jump to conclusions.”
The group from Jujutsu High exchanged uneasy glances. They had faced curses, fought for their lives, and now they were standing in front of these magical beings who were clearly not happy with them.
Gojo, ever the cool-headed one, stepped forward, raising his hands in a gesture of peace. “We didn’t mean for this to happen. We were chasing a dangerous curse, and we had no choice but to stop it. Unfortunately, it caused a lot of damage in the process.”
The white unicorn, Rarity, looked around at the destruction, her eyes wide with disbelief. “This… this is dreadful! Canterlot is… it’s ruined!”
Applejack, the orange earth pony, narrowed her eyes. “We need to know if y’all are gonna cause more trouble. We don’t take kindly to strangers messin’ up our home.”
The pink pony, Pinkie Pie, who had been uncharacteristically silent, suddenly spoke up, her voice more serious than usual. “Yeah, and why should we trust you? How do we know you’re not just big meanies?”
The group from Jujutsu High knew they were in a difficult spot. They had saved Canterlot from Hanami, but in doing so, they had brought chaos to a world that was completely unfamiliar to them. Now, they had to find a way to gain the trust of these new, suspicious inhabitants, and somehow figure out how to get back home.
As the tension hung in the air, a sudden flash of light drew everyone's attention to the sky. Two majestic figures descended from above, their wings outstretched and their expressions solemn. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, the rulers of Equestria, had arrived.
Celestia, her ethereal mane flowing like a river of light, landed gracefully beside Twilight Sparkle and her friends. Luna, with her dark and starry mane, followed close behind, her gaze sharp and wary as she assessed the damage to Canterlot and the unfamiliar visitors.
“What has happened here?” Celestia’s voice was calm but carried the weight of authority. Her eyes swept over the destruction, the injured ponies, and finally, the group from Jujutsu High.
Before anyone could respond, Luna stepped forward, her expression hardening. “You’ve brought ruin to our city. Who are you, and why should we not consider you a threat?” Her voice was cold, and her wings flared slightly, a clear sign of her readiness to defend her kingdom.
Gojo, sensing the gravity of the situation, stepped forward with his usual confident smile, but his tone was respectful. “I’m Satoru Gojo, a sorcerer from another world. We were in pursuit of a dangerous entity that caused all this damage. We didn’t intend to bring harm to your city.”
Luna narrowed her eyes, her gaze flicking to the fallen structures and the distressed ponies. “Your intentions mean little when the result is destruction,” she retorted.
The students from Kyoto and Tokyo stood silently, their injuries and exhaustion evident. They exchanged worried glances, unsure of what to say or do in the presence of such powerful beings.
Yuji Itadori, always the one to try and bridge gaps, stepped forward. “We’re really sorry for what happened. We were just trying to stop that thing from causing more damage. We didn’t mean for this to happen.”
The lavender unicorn, Twilight Sparkle, looked to Celestia, seeking guidance. “Princess, they did defeat that creature… but Canterlot…”
Celestia, who had been silent as she observed the group, finally spoke. “It is clear that you did not come here by choice, nor did you wish to bring harm to our land.” She glanced at Luna, who was still tense. “However, the damage to Canterlot cannot be ignored. The safety of our citizens must come first.”
Luna’s eyes softened slightly, though her guard remained up. “Sister, these beings are powerful. We cannot simply allow them to roam free without knowing more about them.”
Celestia nodded in agreement. “Indeed, Luna. But I also believe in giving second chances.” She turned her gaze back to Gojo and his students. “You will come with us to the royal palace, where we can discuss what has happened and determine the best course of action. I hope that by understanding each other, we can find a way to repair the damage done.”
The Tokyo and Kyoto students exchanged uneasy glances, but Gojo nodded, knowing they had little choice. “Lead the way,” he said with a reassuring smile, though even he could sense the underlying tension.
As the group began to move, Rainbow Dash hovered close to Twilight. “You really think we can trust them?” she whispered.
Twilight sighed, her mind racing with possibilities. “I don’t know, Rainbow. But we don’t have much choice. We’ll just have to be careful and hope that Princess Celestia is right.”
Meanwhile, the Kyoto students were quietly discussing among themselves.
“This place… it’s nothing like our world,” Mai murmured, her eyes scanning the strange, vibrant landscape.
Noritoshi Kamo nodded, his expression contemplative. “We need to be on our guard. If these beings can match us in power, we could be in serious trouble.”
Gojo, overhearing the conversation, glanced back at his students with a playful grin. “Don’t worry too much, kids. We’ll figure this out. After all, how often do you get to meet talking ponies?”
Luna, catching Gojo’s casual remark, couldn’t help but frown. Celestia, noticing her sister’s continued wariness, leaned closer to her as they led the group toward the palace.
“Sister,” Celestia said softly, “I understand your concern. I share it. But we must give them a chance. They could be valuable allies, or at the very least, they might be able to help us understand what’s happening.”
Luna’s frown deepened, but she nodded. “Very well, Celestia. But if they show any signs of treachery…”
“I will stand by your side, Luna,” Celestia assured her. “Let us hope it does not come to that.”
As they approached the grand entrance of the royal palace, the group from Jujutsu High could only hope that this strange turn of events would lead them closer to a way back home—and that they hadn’t just walked into a situation they couldn’t escape from.

The sorcerers in Equestria: A battle for friendship
Starlight Glimmer rushed over, her eyes immediately taking in the scene of destruction. The Mane Six were standing guard over the Kyoto and Tokyo students, all of whom looked worse for wear. The damage to Canterlot was evident, and Starlight was clearly annoyed.
“What happened here?” Starlight demanded, her tone sharp. “Who are they, and why is Canterlot in ruins?”
Twilight Sparkle stepped forward. “These students come from another world. They were fighting a creature that attacked Canterlot. Things got out of hand.”
Starlight looked over the group, clearly not pleased. “Another world? And they just showed up here and wrecked everything?”
Gojo Satoru, still calm, stepped forward. “We didn’t plan this. A portal we were using malfunctioned, and we ended up here. We were trying to stop a curse, but things didn’t go as expected.”
Starlight wasn’t convinced. “Intentions don’t change the fact that Canterlot is a mess. We need to know more about who you are and what you can do.”
Yuji Itadori stepped forward, looking sincere. “We’re sorry for what happened. We’re students of Jujutsu High. We fight curses—evil spirits that harm people in our world. We didn’t want this to happen.”
June Kamo added, “We’ve been trained to use cursed energy, to fight these curses. We didn’t come here to cause trouble.”
The Mane Six listened, still wary but more curious now. Applejack gave Twilight a nod. “I reckon they’re tellin’ the truth.”
Twilight nodded slowly. “I believe you, but the damage here is real, and we need to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”
Rainbow Dash, still hovering, chimed in, “So what do we do with them? We can’t just let them off the hook.”
Celestia, who had been observing, finally spoke. “You will help us rebuild Canterlot. It’s the least you can do after this mess.”
Luna added, her tone stern, “But if there’s any more trouble, we won’t be so forgiving.”
The students nodded, understanding the situation. Megumi Fushiguro, still in pain but determined, spoke up, “We’ll help fix this. We didn’t mean for this to happen, and we’ll do what it takes to make things right.”
Celestia gave a short nod. “Good. Let’s get started.”
The group set to work, knowing they were being watched closely. They had a chance to make things right, but they understood there wouldn’t be any more chances if things went wrong again.
Momo was in the air, flying on her broom, focusing on sweeping away the debris with precise wind strikes. Todo, with his immense strength, was lifting rocks while June Kamo used her cursed technique, Primal Resonance, to manipulate the air and help move the heavier stones. Noritoshi used his blood manipulation to clear out more debris efficiently, directing streams of his own blood with careful control.
Nearby, Mai and Maki weren’t able to do much. They both decided to sit with the injured, feeling a bit frustrated at being sidelined. Mechamaru, with his mechanical strength, was working alongside Todo, moving the larger pieces of rubble. Miwa, unfortunately, wasn’t of much use and had to sit out. Nobara and Megumi were also out of commission, their injuries too severe to allow them to help.
As the Mane Six watched, they couldn’t help but feel frustrated. Rainbow Dash was the first to voice it. “Why aren’t the rest of them helping? They’re the ones who destroyed Canterlot! They should all be doing something.”
Twilight Sparkle nodded, her eyes narrowing as she looked at the students sitting out. “They’re responsible for this mess, but it looks like only a few of them are doing any work.”
Applejack stepped up beside Twilight. “If they’re too hurt, I get it, but they oughta be doin’ somethin’. This is their mess to clean up.”
Yuji, who was taking a break nearby, overheard the conversation and walked over. “I understand why you’re upset. But some of us are really hurt. Megumi, Nobara, and the others are in no shape to help right now.”
Twilight frowned. “We don’t doubt that, but it’s hard to watch most of you sitting around while the rest of us work to fix the damage.”
Gojo, who had been overseeing the cleanup, joined the conversation. “I get where you’re coming from, but those who can work are doing their best. We don’t want to risk making their injuries worse.”
Rarity, who was carefully picking up broken pieces of Canterlot’s grand structures with her magic, chimed in. “Still, they must understand the importance of responsibility. We can’t do this alone.”
Yuji nodded, looking over at his injured friends. “We do. And as soon as they’re able, they’ll pitch in. But for now, please understand—they’re not slacking off on purpose.”
Rainbow Dash huffed, still not entirely satisfied but dropping the issue. “Fine. But they better do something when they’re better.”
Once the work was done, Twilight approached the group, her expression serious. “You’ve done what you can to help clean up, but we need to talk about what happened. Come with me to the School of Friendship. We need to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”
The students, weary from the work and the battle, followed Twilight to the School of Friendship. As they walked, Yuji glanced over at Megumi and Nobara, who were doing their best to keep up despite their injuries.
“Hang in there,” Yuji said quietly. “We’re almost done.”
Inside the school, Twilight led them to a large, open room where they all gathered. The Mane Six stood at the front, with Twilight in the center.
“Alright,” Twilight began, looking at each of the students in turn. “We need to understand what happened, and how to make sure it doesn’t happen again. But first, we need you all to understand how much damage was caused and how serious this is.”
Momo, who had been quiet until now, spoke up. “We know we caused a lot of damage, and we’re really sorry. But we didn’t have a choice—if we hadn’t fought that curse, it could have done a lot worse.”
Twilight nodded. “I believe you. But you need to understand, this isn’t just about fighting and winning. In Equestria, we value the safety and well-being of everypony. That means thinking about the consequences of your actions.”
June Kamo, standing beside Momo, added, “We’ll do whatever we can to make things right. We didn’t mean for this to happen, but we’ll learn from it.”
Rainbow Dash, still a bit skeptical, crossed her forelegs. “You better. Next time, we won’t be so forgiving.”
The room was silent for a moment before Gojo finally spoke. “We appreciate the chance you’re giving us. We’ll make sure to be more careful from now on.”
Twilight’s expression softened slightly. “Good. Because if we’re going to figure out how to get you back home, we need to work together. Let’s make sure that, until then, there are no more incidents.”
The students nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. The Mane Six had made it clear—there wouldn’t be another chance if they messed up again.
Twilight Sparkle, after hearing the students' apologies and promises, couldn’t help but let her curiosity get the best of her. She looked at Gojo and the students, her eyes filled with interest.
“Before we go any further, I have to ask—where do you get your magic from? I’ve never seen anything like what you did before, and I’m curious about how it works.”
The students exchanged confused glances, not sure how to explain. Yuji scratched his head. “Magic? We don’t really use magic, not the way you do. It’s more like… cursed energy.”
Twilight tilted her head. “Cursed energy? What’s that?”
Gojo, seeing the need for a proper explanation, stepped forward. “I can explain. What we use isn’t magic, but something called cursed energy. It’s a form of energy that comes from negative emotions—fear, anger, sadness. In our world, this energy is what creates curses, dangerous spirits that can harm people.”
The Mane Six listened closely as Gojo continued. “We’re trained to control this cursed energy and use it to fight those curses. Each of us has our own technique, called a cursed technique, which lets us manipulate cursed energy in different ways.”
Rainbow Dash was intrigued, despite herself. “So, you fight with negative emotions? That’s kinda… intense.”
Gojo nodded. “It can be. But that’s not all. Some of us can also use something called a Domain Expansion. It’s like creating a special space where our abilities become even stronger. It’s our most powerful technique.”
Twilight’s eyes widened with fascination. “That sounds incredibly complex. Could you show us how it works?”
Gojo smiled. “Of course. We’ll take you outside so you can see for yourselves.”
The group moved outside to a large, open field near the School of Friendship. Gojo turned to his students. “Alright, let’s give them a demonstration. One by one, show them what you can do.”
Momo went first. She floated into the air on her broom and summoned a gust of wind, forming sharp strikes that cut through the air. The ponies watched in awe as she directed the wind with precision, sweeping away imaginary enemies.
Next was Todo, who flexed his muscles and lifted a massive boulder with ease. “Boogie Woogie!” he shouted, clapping his hands together. In an instant, he swapped places with the boulder, appearing in its place while the rock landed where he had stood.
June Kamo followed, using her cursed technique, Primal Resonance, to lift a group of rocks into the air with controlled bursts of wind. She moved the rocks smoothly, guiding them with the air currents she created.
Noritoshi Kamo stepped up next, summoning his blood manipulation technique. He directed streams of his blood to form spears and arrows, which he launched with deadly precision at a distant target. The ponies were visibly impressed by his control.
Mechamaru, using his mechanical body, demonstrated his strength by crushing several large rocks with his fists, showing that even with his artificial body, he was a force to be reckoned with.
Finally, Gojo stepped forward, preparing to show them something even more powerful. “This is a Domain Expansion,” he said, his tone serious. “Infinite Void.”
The air around them shimmered as a vast, endless space seemed to envelop them. The Mane Six found themselves in a strange, boundless realm where everything was simultaneously within reach and impossibly far away. They could feel the overwhelming power of Gojo’s technique, but before it became too much, Gojo ended the expansion, returning them to the field.
Twilight, visibly shaken but deeply intrigued, took a moment to process everything she had just witnessed. “That was… incredible. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Applejack, trying to wrap her head around it all, nodded slowly. “I’ll say. That’s some serious power y’all got.”
Twilight looked at Gojo and his students with a new understanding. “Thank you for showing us. I think I understand now. Your ‘magic’—or cursed energy, as you call it—is very different from ours, but it’s also a part of who you are. We may not have the same abilities, but I can see why you had to do what you did.”
Gojo nodded. “That’s right. We don’t want to cause harm, but we’re trained to use our abilities to protect others, even if it sometimes causes collateral damage. We’ll make sure to be more careful while we’re here.”
Twilight smiled, finally feeling like they were on the same page. “I appreciate that. And maybe, while you’re here, we can learn a little from each other.”
The students, still recovering from the day’s events, were relieved to see that the ponies were starting to understand their world a bit better. They knew there was still a lot to figure out, but for now, they had taken an important step toward mutual understanding.
June Kamo, as part of her demonstration, decided to show off her ability to manipulate the elements of nature. After the other students had finished their displays, she stepped forward, ready to impress the ponies.
“Watch this,” June said confidently. She closed her eyes, focusing her cursed energy on the ground beneath her. The earth began to tremble slightly as she summoned the power of nature itself. With a swift motion of her hand, she caused a small patch of earth to rise up, forming a mound of solid rock.
Then, she waved her other hand, and a gust of wind swirled around her, lifting the rocks she had just raised. The wind picked up speed, carrying the stones into the air in a controlled spiral. As the wind intensified, she summoned water from the nearby river, directing it to flow alongside the rocks, creating a swirling vortex of earth and water.
Finally, she raised her arms, and the sky above darkened as clouds gathered. A few moments later, a small bolt of lightning struck the center of her vortex, causing the rocks and water to glow with energy. The display was both powerful and mesmerizing, showing off her mastery over the natural elements.
The ponies watched in awe as June carefully guided the elements back to their original state, the rocks settling gently on the ground, the wind dying down, and the water returning to the river.
Rainbow Dash whistled, clearly impressed. “That was awesome! You can control the weather too?”
June nodded with a slight smile. “It’s part of my ability to manipulate the elements. Earth, wind, water, and even lightning—I can control them all.”
Twilight Sparkle was equally amazed. “I’ve never seen anything like it. Your control over nature is incredible, June.”
June, feeling proud of her demonstration, nodded again. “Thanks. It’s something I’ve worked hard to master.”
Twilight smiled, genuinely impressed. “I can see that. You’ve all shown us that your abilities, though different from ours, are just as powerful and unique. We have a lot to learn from each other.”
With June’s demonstration, the ponies gained a deeper appreciation for the skills and power the students from Jujutsu High possessed. It was clear that they were more than capable of handling the dangers of their world—and that they had much to offer in terms of strength and knowledge.
After June finished her impressive display of elemental manipulation, Gojo walked over, his usual laid-back smile in place. “June, that was incredible. You've really mastered the elements,” he said, nodding in approval. However, his tone grew more serious as he continued, “But you took a big risk channeling that much energy directly through your hands. It's powerful, but you could lose control. I want you to focus on channeling your cursed energy through your bo staff first. It’ll help you maintain better control, especially with something as volatile as lightning.”
June nodded, absorbing the feedback. “Got it, Gojo-sensei. I’ll work on that.”
Gojo gave her a reassuring pat on the shoulder before turning to the ponies, who were still marveling at June’s abilities. “Now, let me show you something a little different,” he said, stepping forward.
He stood in the center of the field, his expression turning serious as he raised his right hand. “This is Red,” Gojo said simply. A small, intense sphere of energy began to form in his palm, glowing with a deep red light. The air around it seemed to warp slightly as the energy condensed, growing more powerful by the second.
Without warning, Gojo released the sphere. It shot forward, the sheer force of it creating a shockwave that pushed the air around it outward. The ground where it passed was torn up slightly, and the ponies could feel the immense power radiating from it.
Before they could fully process what they’d just seen, Gojo raised his left hand. “And this is Blue,” he said. A new sphere of energy appeared, this time glowing with a bright blue light. Instead of pushing out, the energy in this sphere seemed to pull everything around it inward, creating a powerful vacuum. The grass and loose debris were drawn towards it, as if caught in an invisible vortex.
Then, Gojo brought both hands together, and the red and blue energies merged into a single point. “When Red and Blue combine, you get this,” he explained. “Hollow Purple.”
The resulting energy was a swirling mass of purple, and it radiated a terrifying amount of power. With a casual flick of his wrist, Gojo sent the energy shooting forward, disintegrating a large boulder in its path with ease before dissipating into the air.
The Mane Six stared in stunned silence. Even Twilight, who had seen some impressive magic in her time, was at a loss for words.
Gojo turned back to the group, his usual easygoing smile returning. “Cursed energy can be incredibly powerful, but it’s also dangerous. That’s why it’s important to have control. June’s elemental abilities are amazing, but they’re also risky if she’s not careful.”
Twilight finally found her voice. “That was… unbelievable. The way you control that energy, it’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen.”
Gojo shrugged, downplaying it as usual. “It’s all about practice and control. Just like with any other skill, the more you work at it, the better you get. But it’s always important to respect the power you’re dealing with.”
June nodded again, clearly taking Gojo’s words to heart. The demonstration served as a reminder to her and the other students that while their abilities were impressive, they had to be used carefully and with full control.
The ponies, meanwhile, were left with a new understanding of just how powerful and complex the world of cursed energy was. They could see now that these students and their teacher were dealing with forces that required skill, discipline, and a lot of respect.

School Raze( Part one )
As Twilight Sparkle and her friends guided the jujutsu students through Ponyville, the air was filled with tension and curiosity. The students were still shaken from their recent battle with Hanami and the unexpected journey to this strange, colorful world.
Suddenly, a loud voice pierced through the calm. "Gojo!" Utahime Iori shouted, her tone a mixture of frustration and desperation.
Everyone turned to see Utahime, accompanied by Ijichi Kiyotaka, Mei Mei, Shoko Ieiri, and Kento Nanami, hurrying toward them. They looked exhausted, their clothes torn and dirtied from the chaotic battle and subsequent arrival in Equestria.
Gojo Satoru, who had been casually strolling alongside the Mane Six, turned with a grin. "Ah, you guys finally made it."
"Gojo!" Utahime shouted again, her voice sharper this time. "What did you do? How did we end up here? We were in the middle of fighting Hanami!"
Gojo's expression shifted slightly, showing a hint of seriousness beneath his usual carefree demeanor. "Well, I tried to trap Hanami with a portal, but it, uh, didn’t go as planned. Instead of just sealing the curse, the portal expanded and sucked all of us in, dragging us here... wherever 'here' is."
Twilight Sparkle, who had been listening intently, stepped forward. "So you're saying that you accidentally brought all of you to Equestria through a malfunctioning portal?"
Gojo nodded, still maintaining his casual tone. "Pretty much."
Before Twilight could ask more, Utahime, clearly still agitated, pointed at the Mane Six. "And why are these animals talking?"
The Mane Six collectively gasped, their expressions turning from curiosity to offense. Rarity huffed dramatically. "Animals? We are ponies, darling! And we are more than capable of speech!"
Rainbow Dash flew up, glaring at Utahime. "Yeah, we're not just some random animals! We're the protectors of Equestria!"
Applejack stepped in. "Now hold on, everypony. They just got here, and they're probably confused."
Mei Mei, who had been silent until now, looked around with her usual calm demeanor. "So this is where we ended up. Interesting place, though I’m not sure it’s better than where we were."
Shoko Ieiri sighed, rubbing her temples. "Great. First, we deal with Hanami, and now we’re stuck in a world with talking ponies. What’s next, Gojo? You planning on taking us to a world of sentient pastries?"
Ijichi, looking as anxious as ever, stammered, "Th-this is all very unusual. We need to figure out how to get back to our world. Gojo, you can fix this, right?"
Gojo shrugged nonchalantly. "Eventually. But for now, we might as well get comfortable."
As the Mane Six and the jujutsu sorcerers tried to make sense of each other, a crowd of curious ponies began to gather, whispering and pointing at the strange newcomers.
Twilight, sensing the growing tension, quickly stepped in. "Everypony, please! These beings helped protect Canterlot, even if the situation didn’t go as smoothly as we’d like. They’re our guests now, and we should treat them with kindness."
Just as the crowd began to settle, Utahime’s voice rang out again. "Gojo!"
The intensity of her shout made everyone freeze. Gojo turned, his grin faltering just slightly, as Utahime stormed up to him.
"What on earth were you thinking, Gojo?" she demanded. "We’re not just dealing with curses anymore—we’re in a completely different world! How are we supposed to get back? And what do we do in the meantime?"
Nanami, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up. "Gojo, this situation is unprecedented. We need a plan, and we need it now."
Gojo nodded, his usual laid-back demeanor replaced by a more serious tone. "I get it. This wasn’t what I planned, but we’ll figure it out. First, let’s get to know this place a little better. Maybe we can find a way to fix the portal and get home."
Twilight, trying to be helpful, offered, "Why don’t we take you all back to the castle? We can discuss everything there and figure out the next steps together."
Utahime, clearly still frustrated but seeing the wisdom in the suggestion, nodded. "Fine. But Gojo, you’re not off the hook yet."
Seeing the rising tension between the jujutsu sorcerers and the ponies, Twilight Sparkle decided it was best to delay the tour. With a flash of her horn, she teleported the entire group back to the School of Friendship, where they could hopefully sort things out in a more controlled environment.
As the group materialized inside the spacious halls of the school, the Young Six—Sandbar, Gallus, Yona, Smolder, Silverstream, and Ocellus—were already there, chatting among themselves. They looked up in surprise as the group appeared out of thin air.
Smolder, the young dragon, squinted at the newcomers and blurted out, "Hey, Twilight, what are these monkeys doing here?"
The jujutsu students stiffened, clearly offended by the remark. Nobara scowled, her temper flaring. "Monkeys? We’re not monkeys!"
Megumi, usually more composed, couldn't hide his irritation either. "Who are you calling monkeys?"
Twilight quickly stepped forward, trying to calm the situation. "Smolder, these are our guests from another world. They helped us fight off a dangerous creature in Canterlot."
Before Smolder could respond, Rainbow Dash snickered and hovered closer to Utahime. "Looks like karma’s catching up with you, huh? Calling us animals earlier—now you know how it feels."
Utahime’s face flushed with a mix of embarrassment and frustration. She hadn’t meant to offend the ponies earlier, but the comment had slipped out in the heat of the moment. Now, faced with a similar insult, she could see how it must have felt for the Mane Six.
"Okay, okay, I get it," Utahime muttered, rubbing her temples. "I didn’t mean anything by it. We were just... caught off guard."
Smolder, realizing she might have stepped on some toes, folded her arms and shrugged. "Well, whatever. You guys don’t look like any creatures I’ve seen around here, that’s for sure."
Twilight sighed, relieved that the situation hadn’t escalated further. "Let’s all just take a moment to breathe. We’re all a little on edge after everything that’s happened. We need to work together if we’re going to figure out how to get you all home."
Gallus, always the curious one, tilted his head. "So, you guys are from another world? That’s pretty wild. What’s it like over there?"
Yuji, always eager to make friends, managed a smile. "It’s... different. Not as colorful as this place, but it has its own charm. We deal with a lot of weird stuff, though."
Silverstream, with her ever-cheerful demeanor, fluttered closer. "Oh, that sounds exciting! I bet you have some amazing stories!"
Twilight, sensing that the mood was finally lightening, gestured for everyone to sit. "Why don’t we all have a seat and talk? Maybe by learning more about each other, we can find a way to help you all get back to your world."
The group reluctantly agreed, the tension easing as they sat down together. As the jujutsu sorcerers began to share stories of their battles and the Young Six eagerly listened, it seemed like, for the first time since arriving in Equestria, they were starting to find some common ground.
As the group settled down, sharing stories and trying to make sense of their new reality, the door to the room creaked open, and Cozy Glow trotted in, followed closely by Starlight Glimmer. Cozy, with her innocent smile and bright, curly mane, seemed to radiate sweetness as she approached Twilight.
"Twilight! I brought the scrolls you asked for," Cozy chirped, her voice dripping with eagerness to please. She placed the scrolls on a nearby table and gave a quick glance at the strange new guests.
Starlight Glimmer, walking in behind Cozy, had a much different demeanor. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she scanned the room, clearly still on edge about the sudden appearance of the jujutsu sorcerers. She didn’t say much, just nodded curtly to Twilight and kept her distance from the newcomers.
Twilight thanked Cozy Glow with a warm smile. "Thank you, Cozy. You’re always so helpful."
Cozy beamed at the praise and gave a little curtsy. "Anything for you, Twilight!" she said before turning to leave. As she trotted out, she gave the jujutsu sorcerers a cheerful wave. "Bye-bye, new friends! Hope you enjoy your stay!"
The moment Cozy Glow left the room, the atmosphere shifted. The jujutsu teachers—Gojo, Utahime, Nanami, Mei Mei, and Shoko—exchanged subtle, uneasy glances. The room seemed to grow colder, the air heavier, though none of the ponies seemed to notice.
Mei Mei was the first to break the silence, her voice low and cautious. "Did anyone else feel that?"
Nanami nodded, his expression serious. "The moment that filly walked out, I sensed an overwhelming amount of negative energy. It’s strange, given her outward demeanor."
Shoko frowned, her arms crossed as she looked toward the door where Cozy had exited. "She doesn’t seem like much, but something about her isn’t right."
Gojo, who had been unusually quiet, finally spoke. "Yeah, I felt it too. For a pony with such a bright name and appearance, she’s giving off some seriously dark vibes. We should keep an eye on her."
Starlight, who had been watching the exchange with a guarded expression, spoke up, her tone slightly defensive. "Cozy Glow is just a little filly. She’s sweet and always eager to help. You must be mistaken."
Gojo looked at Starlight, his expression still light but with a hint of seriousness. "We’ve dealt with a lot of curses and negative energy in our world. It’s not something we get wrong easily. Just… be careful."
Starlight stiffened slightly, her eyes narrowing as she continued to keep her distance from the group. "I’ll keep that in mind," she said coolly, though it was clear she wasn’t entirely convinced.
The tension in the room lingered as the conversation turned back to their situation, but the jujutsu sorcerers couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. Despite Cozy Glow’s outward appearance, there was something lurking beneath the surface, something dark and potentially dangerous. And they knew better than to ignore such a warning.
As the group continued to discuss their respective worlds, the Young Six—ever curious—focused their attention on Kento Nanami. Sandbar, the most inquisitive of the group, stepped forward and asked, "So, Nanami, what exactly is cursed energy? How does it work?"
Nanami, ever the professional, maintained his stoic demeanor as he began to explain. "Cursed energy is a form of negative energy that comes from the negative emotions of humans—fear, anger, sadness, and so on. In our world, it manifests as curses, which are malevolent spirits that can harm people. Sorcerers like us are trained to control cursed energy to combat these curses."
He continued, "Sorcerers are ranked by grades, similar to the curses we fight. The grades range from Grade 4, the weakest, to Special Grade, which are the most powerful and dangerous. Each sorcerer possesses unique techniques based on their cursed energy, and these techniques can vary widely in terms of strength and complexity."
The Young Six listened intently, though their expressions made it clear that they found Nanami’s straightforward and serious tone a bit dry. Gallus, always one to voice his thoughts, muttered, "Wow, this guy’s not exactly a barrel of laughs, is he?"
Yona, the yak, tilted her head curiously. "What grade is Nanami?"
Ocellus, ever the scholar, nodded eagerly. "Yeah, what grade are you? You sound really strong!"
Nanami glanced at them, his expression unchanged. "I am a Grade 1 sorcerer. It’s the second-highest rank, just below Special Grade. My abilities focus on precision and efficiency—using the least amount of cursed energy for the maximum effect."
The Young Six exchanged glances, clearly impressed but still somewhat daunted by Nanami’s no-nonsense attitude. Silverstream leaned over to Sandbar and whispered, "He’s super serious, isn’t he?"
Sandbar nodded, grinning a little. "Yeah, but it sounds like he’s really powerful."
Nanami, noticing their reactions, remained as stoic as ever. "Being a sorcerer is not about fun; it’s about responsibility. Our work is dangerous, and we must remain focused at all times."
Gallus couldn’t help but smirk. "Well, you sure are focused, that’s for sure."
Nanami didn’t respond to Gallus’s quip, but the corners of his mouth twitched slightly, as if he were suppressing a small smile. "It’s important to stay serious in our line of work. But that doesn’t mean we can’t learn to appreciate the world around us, even in a place as unusual as this."
The Young Six, though still finding Nanami a bit stern, began to appreciate his dedication and the strength behind his calm exterior. Despite his seriousness, they could see the value in his approach to their strange new reality.
After listening to Nanami’s serious explanation, the Young Six turned their attention to Yuji Itadori, curious about what his abilities might be. Sandbar, emboldened by their earlier conversation, asked, "So, Yuji, what about you? What kind of sorcerer are you?"
Yuji, always the approachable one, scratched the back of his head with a sheepish smile. "Well, I’m not exactly like the others. I’m a bit... different. You see, I’m a vessel for Sukuna."
The Young Six exchanged puzzled glances. "Vessel? What does that mean?" Silverstream asked, her curiosity piqued.
Yuji hesitated for a moment, trying to find the right words. "It means that there’s a powerful curse inside me. His name is Sukuna, and he’s... well, not the nicest guy. I have to keep him in check, but sometimes he tries to come out."
As if on cue, a malicious grin appeared on the side of Yuji’s face, where a mouth suddenly manifested. The voice that came out was dark and menacing. "Not the nicest guy? How dare you downplay my magnificence, brat!" the mouth sneered, glaring at the Young Six. "And what are these pathetic creatures? They’re not even worth my time."
The Young Six recoiled in surprise, their eyes widening at the sudden and terrifying appearance of Sukuna. Gallus, trying to maintain his cool, muttered, "Uh, is this normal?"
Without missing a beat, Yuji slapped the mouth on the side of his face, effectively silencing Sukuna. "Knock it off!" he scolded, his tone exasperated.
The mouth disappeared, leaving Yuji with an apologetic expression. "I’m really sorry about that. Sukuna has a habit of saying awful things. He’s... well, he’s kind of a jerk."
Ocellus, still wide-eyed from the encounter, slowly nodded. "I can see that... But you’re okay, right? You’re still in control?"
Yuji gave a reassuring smile. "Yeah, don’t worry. I’ve got him under control. He’s not getting out unless I let him."
Smolder, who had been caught off guard by Sukuna’s sudden appearance, shook her head in disbelief. "You’ve got a whole other guy living inside you? That’s... intense."
Yuji shrugged, trying to play it off casually. "It’s not easy, but I’ve learned to deal with it. And I’ve got great friends who help me keep him in check."
The Young Six, though still a bit shaken by the encounter, began to relax again. Despite the strange and sometimes frightening abilities of these newcomers, they could see that Yuji, like the others, was doing his best to keep things under control.
"Well, just make sure that Sukuna guy doesn’t get out again," Gallus said, trying to sound tougher than he felt. "We don’t need any more surprises like that."
Yuji chuckled. "I’ll do my best. Thanks for understanding."
After calming down from the brief encounter with Sukuna, Yuji noticed the curious expressions on the faces of the Mane Six and Young Six. He decided to introduce another member of their group. "Oh, and you should meet June," Yuji said, gesturing towards her. "She’s pretty special too."
June, who had been quietly observing from the side, looked up as all eyes turned to her. She shifted nervously under the sudden attention.
"June here is actually the tenth Cursed Womb: Death Painting," Yuji continued, oblivious to the stunned looks around him. "She’s got two really powerful cursed techniques: Blood Manipulation and Primal Resonance."
The Mane Six and Young Six listened intently, though their expressions quickly turned to shock when Yuji added, "Oh, and she’s technically 150 years old... but she’s in a 15-year-old body because she was, uh, put into a female fetus and grew from there."
A stunned silence filled the room as everyone tried to process what Yuji had just said. Twilight Sparkle’s jaw dropped slightly. "Wait, did you say 150 years old? And... a cursed womb?"
June, feeling the weight of everyone’s stares, blushed and looked down at the ground. "Um, yeah... it’s kind of complicated," she mumbled, her usual confidence wavering in the face of so much attention.
Rainbow Dash, her eyes wide, blurted out, "That’s insane! How does that even work?"
June fidgeted with her hands, clearly uncomfortable with the topic. "It’s... a long story. I’m not exactly human, but I grew up like one. I didn’t even know about my true nature until much later."
The Young Six, particularly Ocellus, were equally surprised. Ocellus, always curious about different creatures, asked, "So you’re, like, a living curse? But you don’t seem bad at all."
June managed a small smile, appreciating the kindness in Ocellus’s voice. "I’m trying to be more like a person than a curse. I don’t want to hurt anyone."
Twilight, regaining her composure, nodded slowly. "Well, you’ve certainly been through a lot, June. It’s amazing that you’ve come so far."
The other ponies nodded in agreement, their initial shock giving way to sympathy and understanding. June, though still shy, felt a bit more at ease knowing they weren’t judging her for what she was.
Yuji, realizing he might have overwhelmed everyone, gave June a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "June’s one of the strongest and kindest people I know. She’s been through a lot, but she’s always there to help us out."
June’s blush deepened, but she smiled gratefully at Yuji. Despite the unusual circumstances of her existence, she could tell that these ponies and creatures were beginning to accept her for who she was, not just what she was.
As June shyly asks the Young Six if they could give her a tour of the School of Friendship, they happily agree, eager to show her and the other jujutsu students around. The Mane Six, seeing that the students are getting along, decide to resume their duties, trusting the Young Six to handle the tour.
The Young Six lead the Kyoto and Tokyo students, along with their teachers, through the various halls and classrooms of the school, pointing out every nook and cranny. They show them the library, the dormitories, the dining hall, and even the special places they've discovered themselves, like a hidden study spot under the stairs or a quiet corner in the courtyard.
June listens intently, her initial shyness slowly fading as she becomes more comfortable with the Young Six. The jujutsu students are impressed by the school's unique design and the emphasis on friendship and harmony, which is a stark contrast to their world of constant battles and curses.
Meanwhile, Cozy Glow, who had been lurking in the shadows, overhears their conversation about cursed energy. As the students discuss the different grades of sorcerers, cursed techniques, and even the sinister presence of Sukuna, Cozy's eyes widen with curiosity and a sinister smile slowly spreads across her face. The gears in her mind start turning as she contemplates how she might use this newfound information to her advantage.
Unaware of Cozy's eavesdropping, the Young Six continue the tour, blissfully unaware of the dark intentions brewing in the young filly's mind.
As the Young Six continued their tour, the group slowly started to loosen up. The Kyoto and Tokyo students were still somewhat reserved, but the warmth and curiosity of the Young Six began to chip away at their initial hesitation.
June, feeling a bit more comfortable, looked up at the sky through a large window and softly said, “It’s like something out of a dream. I’ve never seen a place so bright and peaceful.”
Mai Zen’in nodded in agreement. “Yeah, it’s… almost too perfect. Like something out of a storybook.”
Sandbar, catching their conversation, grinned. “That’s kind of the point! This school is all about harmony and friendship. We try to make it a place where everyone feels safe and welcome.”
Utahime Iori, who had been quietly observing the surroundings, finally spoke up, her voice gentle. “This place really does feel like something from a fairy tale. It’s so different from the world we know, where we’re always on edge, always preparing for the next curse or battle.”
Shoko Ieiri, who had been walking alongside Utahime, smiled softly. “I agree. It’s almost surreal. A place where there’s no constant threat, where everyone’s just… happy. I wouldn’t mind staying here a little longer, just to experience what it’s like to live in peace for once.”
Silverstream, always the enthusiastic one, flapped her wings excitedly. “You should! I mean, we have all sorts of cool things to do here. You could even join in some of our classes! I bet you’d be great at them!”
Mei Mei, usually reserved, looked around thoughtfully. “It’s certainly a unique place. I can see why you all cherish it so much.”
Nobara Kugisaki added with a smirk, “Who knew a place like this could exist? It’s nice… but I still think I’d miss the action after a while.”
Yuji Itadori chuckled. “Yeah, but a break from all that wouldn’t be so bad either. I wouldn’t mind staying a little longer too.”
As the tour continued, the jujutsu students gradually opened up more, each finding something to appreciate in the School of Friendship. Utahime and Shoko exchanged glances, both silently agreeing that this peaceful world was a welcome change from their usual lives. Meanwhile, Cozy Glow, hidden away, continued to listen, her sinister plan forming as she soaked up every word about cursed energy.
As the tour of the School of Friendship continued, the group made their way outside, where Twilight Sparkle was busy levitating a stack of books with her magic. She was clearly deep in thought, her horn glowing as she carefully organized the books in mid-air.
“Hey, Twilight!” Rainbow Dash called out, zooming down from above. “How about we take these guys on a real adventure? A trip to Cloudsdale! They’ve never seen anything like it!”
Twilight paused, considering the idea as she continued to arrange the books. “A trip to Cloudsdale, huh?” She glanced over at the jujutsu students, who were listening with curiosity. “That could be fun, but… they don’t have wings, Rainbow.”
Rainbow Dash grinned confidently. “That’s where you come in, Twilight! Just cast that cloud-walking spell on them, and I’ll handle the rest. We can give them a tour of the city, show them the weather factory—maybe even a race through the sky if they’re up for it!”
Twilight smiled, her eyes lighting up. “You know, that does sound like a great idea! It could be a good break for them.” With a nod, she set the books down and cast a spell over the group. A gentle, shimmering aura surrounded the jujutsu students, ensuring they would be able to walk on clouds.
Yuji Itadori looked around excitedly. “Whoa, does this mean we’re really going to walk on clouds? That sounds awesome!”
Nobara Kugisaki grinned. “I’m in! Let’s do it. This place just keeps getting cooler.”
After casting the cloud-walking spell on the jujutsu students and the Young Six, Twilight Sparkle left to attend to her other duties, trusting Rainbow Dash to handle the adventure in Cloudsdale.
Rainbow Dash, ever eager to show off her hometown, led the way with enthusiasm. The group ascended higher into the sky, and soon enough, the majestic city of Cloudsdale came into view. The jujutsu students marveled at the sight—massive cloud structures, rainbow waterfalls, and pegasi flying gracefully all around.
“This place is insane!” Nobara Kugisaki exclaimed, her eyes wide with amazement. “I mean, we’re literally walking on clouds!”
Megumi Fushiguro nodded, his usual stoic expression softened by awe. “It’s incredible… I didn’t think something like this could exist.”
As they continued to explore the cloud city, June started to slow down, her face pale as she looked down at the ground far, far below. She felt a wave of dizziness wash over her and stopped in her tracks.
“I… I don’t feel good,” she whispered, her voice trembling.
Yuji Itadori noticed her hesitation and quickly came to her side. “Hey, June, it’s okay. Just focus on me, alright? Don’t look down.”
“But… we’re so high up,” June stammered, her heart racing as she gripped Yuji’s arm. “I’m not good with heights. This is way too high.”
Yuji gave her a reassuring smile, keeping his tone calm. “You’re not going to fall, I promise. Twilight’s spell will keep us safe, and I’ve got you. Just stick with me.”
Smolder, flying above them, added with a smirk, “Yeah, these clouds are super safe. You’re not going anywhere but where we want to go.”
Rainbow Dash noticed the situation and hovered down to them. “Hey, sorry if the heights are getting to you. How about we take it easy? We don’t have to go super high. There are plenty of awesome things to see at a lower altitude too.”
June nodded, still clutching Yuji’s arm tightly. “Thanks… I just need a moment.”
“Take all the time you need,” Yuji said softly, guiding her away from the edge to a more stable cloud platform.
As the group continued their exploration, Yuji stayed close to June, making sure she felt secure. The others were equally fascinated by Cloudsdale, with Nobara even trying to jump on a cloud like it was a trampoline, much to the amusement of the Young Six.
“This place is seriously wild,” Aoi Tōdō commented, his eyes scanning the cloud city. “I never imagined I’d be walking on clouds. It’s like something out of a dream.”
“Agreed,” Maki Zen’in said, her usually serious demeanor relaxed as she took in the surreal scenery. “It’s… peaceful up here.”
With the initial scare behind them, the jujutsu students began to enjoy the unique experience, exploring the wonders of Cloudsdale at a more leisurely pace. June, though still a bit shaken, started to relax, thanks to Yuji’s constant support.
“Thanks, Yuji,” June said quietly, giving him a small, grateful smile. “I don’t think I could’ve done this without you.”
Yuji chuckled and patted her on the back. “Don’t mention it, June. We’re a team, after all. We’ve got each other’s backs.”
As the group continued their tour, the combination of awe-inspiring sights and the camaraderie between the jujutsu students and the Young Six made the experience unforgettable, forging bonds that transcended their worlds, if only for a brief moment.
As the group toured Cloudsdale, everything seemed to be going well until Starlight Glimmer, who had been keeping a close eye on the jujutsu students, felt a sudden jolt of pain in her horn. The magical aura that had been keeping them all airborne flickered and then vanished entirely.
“Wait—no!” Starlight exclaimed, trying desperately to maintain the spell, but it was too late. The magic dissipated, and the students who were airborne began to fall toward the ground far below.
“Yuji! Nobara!” June cried out as she saw her friends plummeting. Without hesitation, she activated her cursed technique, Wing King, which she had copied from Ezo. Majestic, powerful wings emerged from her back, and she shot down towards Yuji and Nobara at breakneck speed.
“Hold on!” June shouted, catching Yuji with one arm and Nobara with the other just in time, her wings beating furiously to keep them from crashing into the ground.
Yuji, still processing what had just happened, looked at June in awe. “June, you’re flying?!”
“Yeah, it’s Wing King,” June replied, her voice strained from the effort of holding them both up. “I copied it from Ezo. Good thing I did, huh?”
Nobara, clinging tightly to June, let out a shaky laugh. “You think?! You just saved our lives, June! That was insane!”
Meanwhile, Starlight Glimmer was struggling to understand what had just happened. “Why did my magic fail? This shouldn’t be possible!” she said, her voice filled with confusion and fear.
Before she could hit the ground herself, Momo Nishimiya swooped in on her broomstick. “Hang on, I’ve got you!” Momo said, grabbing Starlight with one hand and reaching for Shoko Ieiri with the other, pulling both of them to safety just before they hit the ground.
“Thanks, Momo,” Shoko said calmly, though there was a hint of relief in her voice. “That was a close one.”
“Yeah, and I have no idea why it happened,” Starlight replied, still bewildered. “My magic was fine a moment ago…”
On the ground, Aoi Tōdō had managed to land on his feet with a powerful stomp, looking up to see Gojo Satoru in action. Gojo, with his usual effortless grace, had grabbed Utahime Iori mid-fall, using his infinity technique to keep them both safe from the impact.
“Gojo, you… saved me?” Utahime gasped, still in shock.
Gojo gave her a playful smile. “Of course, Utahime. Can’t have you getting hurt now, can we?”
Utahime’s usual irritation with Gojo softened, though she tried to hide it. “Just… don’t drop me.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” Gojo replied, his tone light.
The pegasi who had been assisting the group quickly swooped in to catch the remaining students, ensuring no one else was hurt. Once everyone was safely on the ground, the tension began to ease, though the confusion lingered.
“This isn’t right,” Starlight muttered, mostly to herself. “My magic was fine… why did it fail?”
Gallus, who had just landed nearby, approached her. “Maybe it’s something in the air, or… I don’t know, something else?”
Momo, still holding onto Starlight and Shoko, added, “Whatever it was, it wasn’t just you. I felt something too—like everything was out of balance for a moment.”
June, who had just set Yuji and Nobara down safely, nodded. “It was like a wave of something… like the energy around us shifted.”
Gojo, ever the calm observer, looked thoughtful. “It could be a larger magical disturbance. We’ll need to investigate, but for now, let’s focus on the fact that everyone’s okay.”
Rainbow Dash, who had been coordinating the pegasi, landed beside them. “Yeah, let’s just get everyone back to solid ground. No more flying for today.”
Starlight, still trying to remain composed despite her confusion, nodded. “I’ll figure out what went wrong, but for now, let’s just make sure everyone’s safe.”
As the group regrouped on the ground, Yuji and Nobara couldn’t stop thanking June for her quick thinking and heroic save.
“June, you were incredible!” Nobara said, still catching her breath. “You totally saved us!”
“Yeah, we owe you big time,” Yuji added with a grin. “You’re amazing, June.”
June blushed slightly but smiled, relieved that everyone was safe. “I’m just glad I could help. Let’s stick to the ground from now on, okay?”
As they all gathered safely back on the ground, the mystery of the magical failure still hung in the air, especially for Starlight. But for now, they were all just grateful to have made it through the chaos.
After the group safely made it back to the ground, they gathered together, minus the Young Six, who had stayed behind to help the pegasi with some other tasks. The jujutsu students, along with Starlight and the other teachers, made their way back to the School of Friendship to find Twilight Sparkle.
Twilight was in the library, sorting through a pile of books with her magic. She turned and smiled as they entered, but the concerned expressions on their faces quickly made her pause.
“What happened? You all look like you’ve seen a ghost,” Twilight said, setting down a book she was levitating.
Starlight, still shaken from the incident, stepped forward. “Twilight, something went wrong with my spell. The cloud-walking spell I cast—it just… failed. Everyone fell through the clouds. I don’t understand why.”
Twilight frowned, thinking it over. “That’s strange. You’ve cast that spell before, right?”
“Yeah, plenty of times,” Starlight replied, her voice tinged with frustration. “I don’t know what went wrong this time.”
Twilight tried to reassure her. “Maybe it was just a simple mistake. Magic can be tricky sometimes, even for the best of us.” She reached out with her magic to pick up a book from the shelf to check for any spells that might have gone awry, but to her surprise, the book she was levitating suddenly dropped as her magic faded away.
“What in Equestria…?” Twilight muttered, staring at her horn in disbelief.
Just then, Cozy Glow, who had been hovering nearby unnoticed, let out a soft, sinister giggle as she watched the scene unfold from above. “Well, well, well, it looks like somepony’s magic isn’t working properly,” she said, her tone innocent but laced with malice.
The jujutsu students exchanged uneasy glances. Gojo Satoru, who had been quietly observing, turned to his students. “Let’s test our cursed energy. Something’s definitely off.”
Yuji Itadori stepped forward first, trying to summon his cursed energy. He focused, but nothing happened. “It’s… not working!” Yuji said, panic creeping into his voice.
Nobara Kugisaki quickly followed suit, attempting to summon her cursed energy to her hands, but she too felt nothing. “This can’t be happening! Why isn’t it working?”
Megumi Fushiguro, usually calm under pressure, also attempted to use his cursed energy, but to no avail. “I don’t feel anything… It’s like it’s completely gone.”
June, who had used her Wing King technique earlier, tried to summon her wings again, but nothing happened. “What’s going on? I can’t feel my cursed energy either!”
The students began to panic, their usual confidence shaken by the sudden loss of their abilities. They had relied on their cursed energy for so long that the idea of being without it was terrifying.
Twilight, now equally alarmed, looked around the room. “This… this doesn’t make any sense. Magic shouldn’t just stop working like this!”
Gojo remained calm, though his eyes narrowed in thought. “This isn’t just a simple magical disturbance. Something—someone—is interfering with the energy in this area.”
Cozy Glow, still hovering above them, smiled wider as she watched the chaos unfold. She reveled in the confusion and fear spreading among the group, though she kept her true intentions hidden behind her innocent facade.
Twilight turned to Starlight, her voice urgent. “We need to figure out what’s going on—and fast. If we can’t use our magic, and your cursed energy isn’t working either, we’re all vulnerable.”
Starlight nodded, her mind racing. “There has to be a reason for this. We need to investigate every possibility.”
Gojo stepped forward, his tone serious. “For now, we should stay together and figure out what’s causing this. We can’t afford to be separated, especially without our abilities.”
The students, though still shaken, nodded in agreement.
As the group continued to discuss the strange and troubling events, Cozy Glow, who had been quietly hovering near the doorway, began to think back to her studies. She furrowed her brow, trying to recall a lesson from one of her classes.
“I think… I remember something… about a creature… who eats magic,” Cozy Glow muttered to herself, her voice trailing off as she struggled to remember. “What was his name again? Um… Tire… Tiri… Tireek?”
Fluttershy, who had just entered the room with a concerned expression, gasped loudly at the mention of the name. “Tirek?! Did you mean Tirek?!”
Rainbow Dash, who was right behind Fluttershy, looked shocked but quickly composed herself. “Tirek? But he’s locked up in Tartarus! There’s no way he could be doing this. Right?”
The room fell into a tense silence as everyone processed what had just been said. The jujutsu students, unfamiliar with Equestrian lore but fully aware of the implications, looked at each other with growing concern.
“Tirek… who’s that?” Yuji asked, trying to keep his voice steady despite the unease gnawing at him.
“He’s a powerful centaur who can drain magic from anypony,” Twilight explained, her voice grim. “If he’s involved… then we’re all in serious trouble.”
Nobara clenched her fists, her usual confidence wavering. “If he can take away magic, does that mean he can take away our cursed energy too?”
Gojo’s normally relaxed expression was replaced with a more serious one as he considered the possibility. “If this Tirek creature can drain energy, then it’s possible. Cursed energy is just another form of power, after all. We can’t take any chances.”
Megumi nodded, his mind already racing with the potential threats. “If we lose our cursed energy, we’ll be defenseless. We need to figure out what’s going on and stop it before it’s too late.”
Fluttershy, clearly distressed by the thought of Tirek being involved, turned to Twilight. “But Rainbow Dash is right, Twilight. Tirek is supposed to be locked away in Tartarus. How could he be doing this?”
Twilight shook her head, her worry deepening. “I don’t know, Fluttershy. But if Cozy’s right and Tirek is somehow involved, we need to act fast. We have to find out if he’s escaped or if there’s something else at play here.”
Cozy Glow, still floating near the door, pretended to be confused and innocent, but inside, she was delighted by the chaos she was helping to sow. “Oh, golly… I didn’t mean to scare everypony. I just remembered it from class, that’s all.”
Rainbow Dash, still skeptical but clearly rattled, added, “Whether it’s Tirek or not, we need to be ready for anything. If he’s really behind this, then we’re in for a tough fight.”
The jujutsu students, now fully aware of the danger, exchanged worried glances. The idea that their cursed energy could be drained by a creature they didn’t even know was a chilling thought.
“Whatever’s happening,” Gojo said, his tone serious, “we need to be prepared. We can’t afford to lose our powers, especially not now. Let’s figure out what’s going on, and stop it before it gets any worse.”
Twilight nodded, taking a deep breath to steady herself. “Agreed. We’ll need all the help we can get. We should start by checking Tartarus to make sure Tirek is still there. If he’s escaped, we’ll need to find him and stop him before he drains any more magic—or cursed energy.”
As the group began to plan their next steps, the atmosphere was tense and filled with uncertainty. The threat of Tirek—or whatever was causing the loss of magic and cursed energy—loomed large, and they knew they had to act quickly to prevent a catastrophe.
As the group made their way into the grand throne room of Canterlot Castle, they were greeted by Princess Cadance, who had a worried expression on her face. The moment she saw Twilight and the others, she rushed over, her usual calm demeanor replaced with concern.
“Twilight! I’m so glad you’re here,” Cadance exclaimed, her voice laced with anxiety. “Something terrible is happening in the Crystal Empire. The Crystal Heart is losing its power, and… my magic is fading too!”
Twilight’s eyes widened in shock. “Cadance, you’re losing your magic as well? This is worse than I thought.”
Cadance nodded, her gaze shifting to the newcomers. “Yes, it’s been happening gradually, but today, it’s become severe. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.” She then looked at the jujutsu sorcerers with confusion, noticing their presence for the first time. “And… who are these visitors?”
Twilight quickly introduced the jujutsu sorcerers to Cadance. “These are our new friends from another world. They’re powerful sorcerers, but something is happening here in Equestria that’s affecting their abilities too. Their cursed energy has stopped working, just like our magic.”
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, already seated on their thrones, listened carefully. Celestia’s usual serene expression was now filled with concern, and Luna’s eyes narrowed as she tried to process the information.
“This is deeply troubling,” Celestia said, her voice calm but serious. “If the Crystal Heart is losing its power and magic is fading across Equestria, it suggests that whatever is happening is not just a localized issue—it’s affecting the entire land.”
Luna stepped forward, her voice filled with urgency. “And these newcomers, their energy is affected as well? This suggests that the disturbance is not merely magical, but something that transcends both our magic and their cursed energy.”
Gojo Satoru, sensing the gravity of the situation, addressed the princesses directly. “Whatever is causing this, it’s attacking the very essence of power in both of our worlds. Our cursed energy is just another form of energy, and it seems to be disappearing just like your magic.”
Yuji Itadori, unable to contain his worry, added, “If this keeps up, we won’t be able to defend ourselves or help you. We need to figure out what’s going on before it’s too late.”
Cadance, still processing the presence of these unfamiliar but clearly powerful beings, looked at Twilight with concern. “Twilight, what could be causing this? Could it be Tirek? But if so, why is it affecting them as well?”
Twilight shook her head, her mind racing. “We don’t know for sure. Cozy Glow mentioned Tirek, but we haven’t confirmed anything yet. If it’s him, it would make sense that he’s targeting magic, but the fact that it’s affecting cursed energy too… that’s something new.”
Celestia looked thoughtful, her gaze shifting between the group. “If Tirek is indeed involved, we must act swiftly. But the presence of these visitors and the loss of their cursed energy suggests that this could be something far more complex. We may be dealing with a threat that transcends our usual understanding of magic.”
Luna turned to her sister, her voice firm. “We must investigate Tartarus immediately. If Tirek has escaped, we must contain him before he causes further damage. But we should also be prepared for the possibility that this is something else entirely.”
Cadance, her worry deepening, nodded in agreement. “And if the Crystal Heart is losing power, the entire Crystal Empire could be at risk. We need to protect our lands and our people.”
Gojo, sensing the urgency, addressed his students. “We’ll need to work together with the princesses to figure out what’s going on. If our cursed energy is at risk, we need to act fast to prevent a catastrophe.”
Nobara Kugisaki, her usual confidence shaken, said, “We can’t afford to lose our cursed energy. If we do, we’re defenseless.”
Megumi Fushiguro, always the strategist, added, “We need a plan. If Tirek is involved, or if it’s something else, we need to be ready to confront it.”
Celestia nodded, her voice filled with resolve. “Then it’s settled. We’ll investigate Tartarus and the Crystal Empire. We must uncover the source of this disturbance and stop it before it’s too late.”
The room was filled with a tense silence as everyone realized the gravity of the situation. The loss of magic and cursed energy was not just a simple problem—it was a threat to the very balance of their worlds. Together, they would have to face whatever was causing this and find a way to restore the power that was slipping away.
As the group continued to discuss their next steps in the throne room, a burst of green flame suddenly appeared before Princess Celestia, materializing into a scroll. Recognizing it as a letter from Starswirl the Bearded, Celestia quickly unrolled the parchment, her eyes scanning the contents with growing alarm.
“Everypony, listen to this,” Celestia said, her voice grave as she began to read aloud:
“Dear Princesses,
I write to you with urgent news. After extensive research and analysis, I have discovered that the magical disruption we are currently experiencing is not an isolated incident. It is part of a much larger, more catastrophic event. Within three days, all magic in Equestria will disappear completely.
This will affect not only unicorns, but all magical creatures, artifacts, and spells. The magic that sustains our world—the very essence of harmony—is being drained at an alarming rate. If we do not find a way to stop this, Equestria will be left defenseless, and life as we know it will change forever.
I am continuing my research, but I fear that the source of this calamity may be something ancient and powerful, beyond anything we have faced before.
Your faithful advisor,
Starswirl the Bearded”
The room fell into a stunned silence as Celestia finished reading the letter. The implications of Starswirl’s message were dire, and everyone could feel the weight of the situation pressing down on them.
June, who had been quietly absorbing the information, looked up with wide eyes. “Wait… if magic is going to disappear from Equestria, does that mean our cursed energy will be gone too? Does this apply to us?”
Gojo, his expression serious, considered the question carefully. “It’s hard to say for sure, but given that our cursed energy has already been affected, it’s possible. If the magic that sustains this world disappears, it might take our cursed energy with it.”
Twilight’s face was a mix of concern and determination. “If that’s the case, then we’re all in even greater danger than we thought. We need to find a solution before it’s too late.”
Princess Luna, her voice steady despite the gravity of the situation, added, “If cursed energy is tied to the same force that sustains our magic, then we must work quickly to prevent the complete collapse of both.”
Yuji Itadori, feeling the growing tension, spoke up, trying to rally the group. “We’ve faced tough situations before, and we’ve always found a way through. We can do it again. We just need to stay focused and work together.”
Nobara Kugisaki nodded in agreement, though her usual fire was tempered by worry. “Yeah, but we can’t waste any time. We need to figure out how to stop this before everything falls apart.”
Celestia turned to the group, her voice filled with resolve. “We have three days to find a solution. We must pool our knowledge, our strength, and our courage to uncover the source of this disruption and restore balance to Equestria.”
Luna added, her tone firm, “Starswirl is already working on the problem from his end. We must do the same. Every second counts.”
Gojo, sensing the urgency, addressed his students. “This isn’t just about our world or theirs—it’s about both. We’ll do whatever it takes to stop this. Let’s get to work.”
As the group began to plan their next steps, the urgency of the situation was clear. The loss of magic and cursed energy threatened not only Equestria but the entire balance of their worlds. With the clock ticking, they knew they had to act fast to prevent a catastrophe that could change everything.
As the gravity of Starswirl’s letter settled over the room, Princess Celestia made a decisive move. She turned to the Mane Six, her expression resolute.
“Twilight, I believe the time has come for you and your friends to journey to Tartarus. If there is any chance that Tirek is involved, we need to confirm that he is still imprisoned and, if not, find out how he could have escaped. You are Equestria’s best hope in ensuring that this potential threat is contained.”
Twilight nodded, understanding the weight of the responsibility. “We’ll go to Tartarus and make sure Tirek hasn’t escaped. If he’s involved in this, we’ll stop him.”
As Twilight spoke, Gojo Satoru stepped forward, a confident grin on his face. “I’m coming with you. If Tirek is as dangerous as you say, you’ll need all the help you can get. Besides, I’ve always been curious about what you call Tartarus.”
Twilight looked at Gojo, surprised but grateful. “We’d appreciate your help, Gojo. Your abilities would be invaluable.”
Gojo nodded, then turned to his students. “But I’m not taking all of you with me. This is an opportunity for you to learn something important. I want you to stay here in Ponyville and guard the School of Friendship. This isn’t just about keeping the school safe—it’s about learning how to manage a crisis, how to work together under pressure, and how to protect something precious even when the odds are against you.”
The students exchanged glances, a mix of excitement and apprehension on their faces. Megumi Fushiguro, always the strategist, stepped forward. “You can count on us, Gojo-sensei. We’ll protect the school and the students.”
Nobara Kugisaki, her confidence returning, added, “Yeah, we’ve got this. No one’s getting through us.”
Yuji Itadori nodded enthusiastically, his determination clear. “We’ll make sure the School of Friendship is safe. You can count on us, Gojo-sensei.”
June, still processing everything that had happened, felt a surge of resolve. “We’ll protect the school, and we’ll make sure nothing happens to the students. This is our responsibility now.”
Gojo smiled, pleased with their responses. “That’s the spirit. Remember, this isn’t just about fighting—use your heads, work together, and keep everyone safe. This will be a good test of everything you’ve learned so far.”
Princess Celestia looked at the jujutsu students, her expression approving. “Your dedication is admirable. The School of Friendship is a cornerstone of harmony in Equestria. Protecting it is a great responsibility, and I have no doubt you’ll rise to the occasion.”
Gojo turned back to the Mane Six and Celestia. “Alright, let’s get moving. The sooner we get to Tartarus, the sooner we can figure out what’s going on.”
Twilight, now more confident with Gojo by her side, nodded. “Let’s go. Time is running out.”
As Gojo and the Mane Six prepared to depart for Tartarus, the jujutsu students readied themselves for their new mission. Though the threat of losing their cursed energy still loomed, they were determined to protect the School of Friendship and its students, proving that they were capable of handling whatever challenges came their way. This was their time to step up, and they were ready.
As the group gathered in the main hall of the School of Friendship, making final preparations to leave for Tartarus, Starlight Glimmer was busy coordinating the details with the jujutsu sorcerers who were staying behind. Twilight and the Mane Six were preparing to depart, but there was a palpable tension in the air, knowing that the situation was growing more dire by the minute.
Gojo Satoru stood with his students, offering last-minute advice. “Remember, you don’t need cursed energy to protect this school. Use your heads, stay calm, and work as a team. This is an opportunity to show what you’re truly capable of.”
Starlight, who was overseeing the logistics of the school, nodded in agreement. “We’ll make sure everything runs smoothly here, Twilight. The students are our top priority.”
Just as the group was about to head out, something strange happened. Momo Nishimiya, who was hovering near the ceiling on her broomstick, suddenly felt a shift in her energy. “Wait… something’s wrong,” she muttered, glancing around in confusion. She tried to control her broomstick, but the cursed energy that usually powered it was gone. “My cursed energy—it’s gone!” she exclaimed.
Without her cursed energy, Momo lost control of her broom and began to plummet toward the ground. In an instant, Aoi Tōdō, always alert, dashed forward and caught her just before she hit the floor.
“Momo!” Tōdō shouted, concern etched on his face as he carefully set her down. “Are you okay?”
Momo nodded, though her face was pale. “I’m fine, but I couldn’t control my broom. My cursed energy just… vanished.”
The rest of the Kyoto students quickly tried to activate their cursed energy as well, but they were met with the same result—nothing happened.
Mai Zen’in, her frustration evident, tried summoning her energy again but to no avail. “It’s completely gone… We can’t use our cursed energy either.”
Kamo Noritoshi, normally composed, looked genuinely alarmed. “If we’ve lost our cursed energy like the others, this changes everything. How are we supposed to defend the school?”
The realization that they were now without their powers hit hard. The jujutsu students, who had trained extensively to hone their cursed techniques, were suddenly faced with the reality of being powerless in a time of crisis.
Twilight, seeing the distress on their faces, stepped forward with determination. “Even without magic or cursed energy, we can still protect what matters. We’ve faced challenges like this before, and we’ve always found a way. Together, we’re stronger than any one power or ability.”
Starlight, who was staying behind to run the school, addressed the group with confidence. “This is about more than just magic or cursed energy. It’s about using everything we’ve learned to protect the students and the school. We’ll work together, and we’ll find a way through this.”
Gojo, ever the mentor, looked at his students with a calm but serious expression. “This is where you show your true strength. Cursed energy is just one tool in your arsenal. You’ve got your skills, your training, and each other. Use them.”
Tōdō, still standing close to Momo, nodded firmly. “We’re not going to let anything happen to this school. With or without cursed energy, we’ll protect everyone.”
Momo, now more composed, gave Tōdō a grateful smile. “Thanks, Tōdō. I’m ready to do this. We all are.”
As the Mane Six and Gojo prepared to leave for Tartarus, they took a moment to look back at the group they were leaving behind. There was a sense of trust and responsibility in the air—everyone knew what was at stake, and they were prepared to face it head-on.
Twilight gave Starlight a reassuring nod. “We’ll handle things in Tartarus. You focus on keeping everyone safe here. We’ll be back as soon as we can.”
Starlight nodded, her resolve clear. “You can count on us, Twilight. We’ll protect the school.”
With that, Twilight and the rest of the Mane Six, along with Gojo, departed for Tartarus, leaving Starlight, the jujutsu students, and the rest of the school staff to guard the School of Friendship.
As the group prepared to leave the School of Friendship, the atmosphere was tense but determined. Twilight and the Mane Six were finalizing their plans to depart for Tartarus with Gojo Satoru, while Starlight Glimmer was busy coordinating the remaining efforts to protect the school. Utahime Iori, Kento Nanami, Shoko Ieiri, Ijichi Kiyotaka, and Mei Mei had also decided to stay behind to help safeguard the school alongside the jujutsu students.
Utahime, who had been quietly observing the situation, stepped forward. “We’ll stay here and assist Starlight. The students need protection, and with our experience, we can help keep things under control.”
Nanami, always calm and methodical, nodded in agreement. “It’s important that we maintain a presence here. If this situation escalates, the school could become a target. We need to be prepared.”
Shoko, her usual composed demeanor unshaken, added, “Plus, we can provide medical support if anything goes wrong. It’s better to have all bases covered.”
Mei Mei, ever the strategist, looked around the school with a calculating eye. “We’ll also need to secure the perimeter and ensure that no one with ill intentions can get in. Even without our cursed energy, we can still set up defenses.”
Ijichi, though visibly nervous, agreed. “I’ll help coordinate logistics. If we can keep everything organized, we’ll have a better chance of managing any crises that arise.”
Starlight, grateful for the additional support, nodded firmly. “Thank you. With all of you here, I’m confident we can keep the school safe. We’ll do everything we can to protect the students and maintain order.”
Gojo, standing with the Mane Six, looked back at his colleagues and students. “I know I’m leaving things in good hands. Remember, this is more than just a defense mission—it’s an opportunity to learn and grow. Use this time wisely.”
Twilight, sensing the weight of the situation, gave Starlight a reassuring smile. “We’ll handle things in Tartarus. If we can stop Tirek, or whoever is behind this, the magic—and cursed energy—should return. Until then, stay strong.”
As the Mane Six and Gojo prepared to depart, the jujutsu students, along with Utahime, Nanami, Shoko, Ijichi, and Mei Mei, took their positions within the school. Despite the uncertainty and the loss of their powers, they were all determined to protect the School of Friendship at all costs.
Before leaving, Twilight turned to Starlight one last time. “We’ll be back as soon as we can. I trust you to keep everything under control here.”
Starlight nodded, her determination unwavering. “We’ll be ready, Twilight. Good luck.”
With that, Twilight, the Mane Six, and Gojo set off for Tartarus, leaving the School of Friendship in the capable hands of Starlight, the jujutsu sorcerers, and their students. Though the loss of magic and cursed energy weighed heavily on them all, they knew they had to stay strong and vigilant. The safety of Equestria—and the future of both their worlds—depended on it.
The sorcerers in Equestria: A battle for friendship
June glanced at Inumaki with curiosity. "Inumaki-senpai, now that there's no cursed energy here, can you talk freely?"
The room went silent as everyone turned their attention to Inumaki. Yuji, standing nearby, looked particularly eager to hear his friend's real voice.
Inumaki hesitated, his eyes scanning the room as if weighing the decision. After a few moments, he finally opened his mouth. "Salmon."
Yuji blinked in surprise, then broke into a grin. "Really, Inumaki? Even now?"
Panda laughed, clapping Inumaki on the back. "Guess old habits die hard, huh?"
June looked at Inumaki, a little confused. "So… you’re choosing not to speak normally?"
Inumaki shrugged with a sly smile, then said, "Tuna mayo."
The room erupted in laughter, the tension evaporating as everyone realized Inumaki was sticking to his unique way of communicating, no matter the circumstances.
Cozy Glow, with her usual sweet smile, gathered the students in the main hall. "I know you're all sad about everything that's happened," she began in a soft, comforting tone, "but don't worry. Now you have me to run the school!" Her words were met with a mixture of confusion and suspicion from the students.
Ijichi, standing with the group of teachers, furrowed his brow in confusion. "What does she mean by that?" he whispered to his colleagues, glancing around to see if anyone else understood.
Gallus, scratching his head, looked just as puzzled. "Wait, isn't Starlight Glimmer supposed to be running the school? This doesn't make any sense."
Cozy Glow's smile widened, her eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief. "Oh, she was! But she left a note saying she'd be gone for a while, and in the meantime, she left the school in my hooves!"
Yuji exchanged a bewildered look with his friends. "This doesn't add up. Why would Starlight just leave like that?"
Megumi nodded in agreement, his expression serious. "Something feels off about this."
Nanami, observing Cozy closely, added in a low voice, "It's suspicious, but we should be cautious. Let's not jump to conclusions without more information."
Cozy Glow, noticing their uncertainty, fluttered her wings and gave a little shrug. "Oh, I know this might seem strange to you all, but that's just because you're not accustomed to how things work around here. Don't worry; you'll get the hang of it! And to help you adjust, I've prepared some homework for you and the Young Six!"
She then handed out sheets of paper to everyone, her smile never fading. The Young Six and the jujutsu students stared at the assignments, their confusion only deepening.
Sandbar frowned as he looked at the homework Cozy had given them. "This is really weird. Starlight never mentioned anything about leaving."
Yuji, flipping through the pages, muttered under his breath, "Something isn't right here… We need to figure out what's really going on."
The teachers exchanged concerned glances, all of them aware that Cozy Glow's sudden rise to power was far from ordinary.
As the group gathered around to look at the homework Cozy Glow had handed out, Yuji, trying to lighten the mood, reached into his bag and pulled out a container of freshly made dumplings. "Hey, I made these earlier for everyone. I figured we could use a break."
The aroma of the dumplings filled the room, and the students eagerly accepted his offer. Shoko smiled warmly at Yuji. "Thank you, Yuji. It's nice to have something comforting right now."
Nanami gave Yuji an approving nod. "Good thinking, Yuji. Preparing food in advance shows foresight."
As they were enjoying the dumplings, Yona noticed something unusual. "Yona sees Cozy Glow!" she whispered, pointing towards the far side of the hall. The others turned to see Cozy emerging from a trap door that led to the basement, a secretive look on her face.
"What's she up to now?" Gallus murmured, narrowing his eyes.
Without a word, the group quietly followed Cozy Glow, curiosity and suspicion driving them. They trailed her down the hall, making sure to stay out of sight as she headed towards a dimly lit room. As they approached, they could hear Cozy's voice, now speaking with someone else—Neighsay, the former head of the Equestria Education Association.
They crept closer, trying to catch bits of the conversation. "The school will be under our control soon," Neighsay's voice echoed through the hallway. "And with these new students, we'll have even more power."
Just as they were straining to hear more, the floor beneath them creaked ominously. Before anyone could react, the trap door swung open under their combined weight, and they tumbled into the room below. Only Sandbar managed to grab the edge of the door in time, staying above ground while the others fell.
Neighsay turned swiftly, his eyes narrowing as he spotted the group. "Eavesdropping, I see," he sneered, his horn glowing with magical energy. "That won't do."
With a quick incantation, Neighsay cast a binding spell, ropes of magical energy wrapping around the students and pinning them to the ground. Cozy Glow stood by his side, her innocent facade gone, replaced with a smug smile.
Sandbar, realizing the danger, quickly put on a convincing act. "Wait, Neighsay! I agree with you!" he called out, making sure his voice carried a tone of sincerity. "You're right about the school needing better control. Let me help you!"
Neighsay paused, his eyes narrowing as he considered Sandbar's words. After a moment, he nodded. "Very well. You may be of use to us. Come with me."
Sandbar gave a quick glance to his friends, a silent promise in his eyes, before following Neighsay out of the room, leaving the others trapped.
As the door shut behind Sandbar, the group was left alone, bound by the spell. Gallus struggled against the magical ropes. "I can't believe this is happening. What are we going to do now?"
Yuji, thinking quickly, glanced at the others. "We need to find a way out of here. Sandbar's smart; he'll find a way to help us. We just need to hold on until then."
The teachers, who had been lingering behind, managed to avoid getting caught and were now plotting their own rescue plan, determined to free the students and stop whatever Cozy Glow and Neighsay were planning.
Meanwhile, in the dark, foreboding depths of Tartarus, Gojo Satoru stood alongside the Mane Six as they confronted the imprisoned centaur, Tirek. The air was thick with unease as Tirek loomed in his cage, his piercing eyes gleaming with malevolence. The Mane Six were on edge, but Gojo remained his usual relaxed self, a slight smirk playing on his lips.
Tirek's deep, rumbling voice broke the silence. "So, you’ve come to see the fruits of my labor? How amusing."
Twilight Sparkle stepped forward, her wings flaring slightly. "We know you've been stealing magic, Tirek, but there's something else you've been tapping into. Cursed energy. What do you know about it?"
Tirek's grin widened, showing off his sharp teeth. "Ah, yes. Cursed energy. A fascinating power, different from your pony magic but no less potent. I've been exploring its potential, thanks to a little advice from an unexpected source."
Gojo raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And who might that be?"
Tirek leaned forward, his chains clinking ominously. "I’ve been corresponding with someone quite clever. A young pony with ambitions as grand as mine. Her name… is Cozy Glow."
The revelation sent a ripple of shock through the group. Twilight's eyes widened. "Cozy Glow? But how—?"
Gojo cut her off, his tone now more serious. "So she’s involved in this too. It’s starting to make sense now."
Back at the School of Friendship, the tension was equally high. Ijichi, Nanami, Mei Mei, Shoko Ieiri, Utahime, and the Kyoto students were all gathered together, following closely behind Sandbar. The young earth pony had managed to convince Neighsay of his loyalty, but now he was leading the group through the secret passage Cozy Glow had used earlier.
Sandbar stopped at a large, imposing door, the same one Cozy had emerged from. "This is it," he whispered, pushing the door open.
As the door creaked open, the group gasped. Inside the room was a large, spherical cage, pulsing with dark magic. Trapped within was Starlight Glimmer, suspended in midair, her magic being drained by the malevolent force surrounding her.
Starlight looked weak but managed to lift her head when she saw them. "Help…"
Nanami's expression darkened as he surveyed the scene. "This is worse than we thought."
Shoko immediately moved closer, analyzing the magical barrier. "We need to get her out of there, but this magic is powerful. It's draining her completely."
Utahime, her brow furrowed in concentration, nodded. "If we don't act quickly, she won't have any magic left."
Mei Mei, ever calm and calculating, glanced at the students and the Crusaders who had followed them. "We need to work together to dismantle this barrier. Sandbar, you did well leading us here. Now let’s save Starlight and put an end to Cozy Glow’s plan."
With everyone focused and determined, they began working together to free Starlight, knowing that time was running out and that their friends were facing even greater threats in Tartarus.
As the group strategized on how to free Starlight, they suddenly heard a voice echoing through the chamber. Cozy Glow, completely unaware of their presence, was circling around the magic-draining sphere, a twisted grin on her face.
"Enjoying yourself in there, Starlight?" Cozy taunted, her tone dripping with mock sweetness. "It must be so frustrating, having all that power and not being able to do a thing with it. But don't worry, I'm just getting started. Soon, this whole school will be under my control, and no one will be able to stop me."
Starlight, visibly weakened but still defiant, glared at Cozy. "You won't get away with this, Cozy. The others will stop you."
Cozy Glow let out a giggle, twirling around as if she were in a dance. "Oh, I wouldn’t be so sure about that. They’re all too busy worrying about silly things like friendship and harmony. By the time they figure out what’s really going on, it’ll be too late."
From their hidden vantage point, Nanami and the others exchanged determined looks. Cozy’s arrogance might just be her downfall. They knew they had to act quickly and quietly if they were going to save Starlight and put an end to Cozy’s schemes before it was too late.
Mei Mei, assessing the situation, whispered to the group, "We'll need to move fast and take her by surprise. She doesn’t know we’re here, and that’s our advantage."
Utahime nodded, her voice low but resolute. "Let’s end this. We’ll save Starlight and make sure Cozy Glow doesn’t have the chance to hurt anyone else."
The group prepared to make their move, knowing the fate of the school—and possibly all of Equestria—rested on their success.
As Cozy Glow continued to circle the sphere, her eyes gleamed with a sinister satisfaction. "You know, Starlight, this isn’t just about taking over the school. Oh no, I’m thinking much bigger than that."
Starlight, struggling against the weakening effects of the magic-draining sphere, managed to gasp out, "What… are you planning, Cozy?"
Cozy Glow’s grin widened, and she leaned in closer to the sphere, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, though still loud enough for the hidden group to hear. "This vortex I’ve trapped you in isn’t just draining your magic, Starlight. It’s connected to a much larger spell—one that’s slowly but surely draining all the magic and cursed energy from every corner of Equestria."
Starlight’s eyes widened in horror. "You… you can’t do that! You’ll destroy everything!"
Cozy Glow laughed, a high-pitched, chilling sound that echoed around the chamber. "Destroy? Oh no, I’m not going to destroy anything. I’m going to control it. Imagine it, Starlight—all the magic, all the cursed energy in the entire land, all mine to command. And with everyone else powerless, there’ll be no one left to stop me!"
From their hidden position, Ijichi’s eyes narrowed. "This is worse than we imagined," he whispered. "If she succeeds…"
Nanami clenched his fists, his usually calm demeanor giving way to visible anger. "We won’t let her succeed. We need to stop that vortex and free Starlight now."
Mei Mei’s voice was cold and determined as she added, "She’s overconfident. Let’s use that against her. We’ll hit her hard and fast, take down this vortex, and make sure she never gets the chance to enact her twisted plan."
Sandbar, still holding onto the act of loyalty to Cozy, edged closer to the door, ready to spring into action as soon as the signal was given.
The group, now more resolved than ever, prepared to strike. They knew that the fate of Equestria was at stake, and they were ready to do whatever it took to stop Cozy Glow and save their world.
Cozy Glow, still circling the sphere with Starlight trapped inside, continued her monologue, her tone laced with a mixture of arrogance and glee. "You know, Starlight, at first I was a little worried about those jujutsu sorcerers showing up. They seemed like they might be a problem. Especially that Gojo Satoru—he’s powerful, I’ll give him that."
She paused, smirking to herself. "But with him out of the way, all the way down in Tartarus, I realized something. The rest of them? They’re not really a threat. Sure, they have some power, but here in Equestria, without their precious cursed energy, they’re just a bunch of weaklings playing at being heroes."
Starlight, though weakened, managed to glare at Cozy through the draining effects of the vortex. "You’re underestimating them, Cozy. They’re stronger than you think."
Cozy Glow waved a hoof dismissively. "Oh, please. Without Gojo here to lead them, they’re just flailing around in the dark. They don’t understand our magic, and they’re not a match for my plans. By the time they realize what’s happening, it’ll be far too late."
She stopped in front of the sphere, her eyes gleaming with malicious delight. "And you, Starlight? You were always so sure of yourself, so confident in your magic and your friendship. But look at you now. Helpless, drained, powerless to stop me."
From their hidden spot, Utahime clenched her fists, barely holding back her anger. "She thinks we’re weak because Gojo isn’t here. We’ll show her just how wrong she is."
Nanami nodded, his expression grim. "She’s made a fatal mistake in underestimating us. We need to move now, before she realizes we’re here."
Mei Mei gave a small, dangerous smile. "Let's remind her why she should have been concerned."
Back in Tartarus, the atmosphere grew tense as Tirek’s words sank in. The Mane Six and Gojo stared at him in disbelief, their minds racing with the implications of what they had just learned.
"Cozy Glow… she’s behind this?" Twilight Sparkle’s voice was a mix of shock and disbelief. "But she’s just a filly!"
Gojo’s usual nonchalant expression hardened. "It’s always the ones you least expect. If she’s managed to tap into cursed energy and Equestrian magic, she’s more dangerous than any of us realized."
Rainbow Dash, flapping her wings in agitation, exclaimed, "We have to get back to the School of Friendship, now! Who knows what she’s doing there!"
Applejack nodded, her face set in determination. "She’s fooled us all before, but we ain’t lettin’ her get away with it this time."
The group rushed towards the exit, hearts pounding with urgency. But as they reached the massive door leading out of Tartarus, Twilight’s horn glowing to open it, they were met with an unwelcome surprise.
The door was locked—magically sealed tight. Twilight’s magic pulsed against it, but the door didn’t budge.
Rarity gasped, her eyes wide with worry. "What’s going on? Why won’t it open?"
Gojo stepped forward, placing his hand on the door, his cursed energy flaring slightly as he attempted to unravel the magical seal. But even with his immense power, the door remained shut.
"This isn’t an ordinary lock," Gojo muttered, his voice laced with frustration. "It’s been reinforced, likely by whoever Cozy’s working with. They don’t want us getting back in time."
Fluttershy’s eyes filled with concern. "But if we’re trapped here… who will stop Cozy Glow?"
Pinkie Pie bounced nervously, her usual cheerfulness replaced with anxious energy. "There’s gotta be a way out! There’s always a way out, right?"
Twilight, her face pale with worry, continued to pour her magic into the door. "I’m trying, but it’s going to take time to break through this seal."
Gojo stepped back, assessing the situation. "We’ll get through this door, but we need to do it fast. If Cozy Glow is draining magic and cursed energy, every second counts."
With renewed determination, the group worked together, combining their magic and strength to break through the powerful seal. The knowledge that Cozy Glow was behind such a sinister plan fueled their resolve. They knew they had to return to the School of Friendship before it was too late.
As they continued their efforts, the clock was ticking, and the stakes had never been higher.
Back at the School of Friendship, the group was frantically trying to free Starlight Glimmer from the magic-draining sphere. Nanami, Mei Mei, and Ijichi were coordinating their efforts, while the Crusaders and the Kyoto students stood guard, watching for any sign of Cozy Glow or other threats.
As Utahime focused her energy on dismantling the magical barrier around Starlight, something unexpected happened. Dark, shadowy claws suddenly emerged from the vortex, reaching out with alarming speed and precision. They wrapped around Utahime's arms, trying to pull her into the dark vortex.
Utahime gasped in shock, struggling against the force pulling her in. "What the—!?"
But before she could be dragged further, Shoko, her eyes wide with fear for her friend, acted on pure instinct. She lunged forward and grabbed Utahime's hand with both of hers, holding on with all her strength. "I’ve got you!" Shoko shouted, her voice filled with determination.
Utahime clung tightly to Shoko, feeling the strength of their bond as her best friend refused to let go. The others quickly realized the situation was spiraling out of control.
"We need to get out of here and regroup!" Nanami commanded, his voice cutting through the chaos.
With a final, desperate pull, Shoko yanked Utahime away from the claws, and the two stumbled back to safety. They all knew they couldn’t do this alone.
"We need backup," Mei Mei agreed, her usual calm demeanor showing a hint of urgency. "We have to find the others."
Ijichi nodded. "Let's head to the room where the Young Six and the Tokyo students are. We need all the help we can get."
The group hurried through the hallways, their footsteps echoing off the walls. They burst into the room where the Young Six were waiting with the Tokyo students. The moment they entered, the situation was clear—everyone needed to act fast.
Todo, who had been resting after a brief reconnaissance of the area, immediately sprang into action. "I’ll take the high ground. You all focus on protecting each other."
Without waiting for a response, Todo ran to the nearest window, his massive frame moving with surprising agility. He grabbed onto the ledge and began climbing the exterior of the building with ease, reaching the window that overlooked the area where Starlight was trapped.
He pushed the window open and called down to the others, "I’ve got the vantage point! Just give the word, and I’ll take care of anything that comes our way!"
With Todo ready to provide support from above, the group below regrouped, their determination renewed. They knew they were up against something powerful, but with everyone working together, they had a chance to turn the tide and rescue Starlight before it was too late.
As the group continued their efforts to rescue Starlight Glimmer, Todo took charge of another critical task. After securing the area, he noticed that the Young Six and the Tokyo students were still trapped in a locked room nearby, a result of Cozy Glow's earlier machinations.
Realizing they couldn’t be left behind, Todo sprinted toward the building where the students were trapped. With his usual confidence, he reached the building's exterior and began scaling the walls with ease, his powerful arms and legs propelling him upward.
Within moments, Todo reached the window of the locked room. He peered inside and saw the Young Six and the Tokyo students looking worried but determined. Yūji, Nobara, and Megumi were trying to find a way to force the door open, but the magical lock was proving too strong.
"Don’t worry, I’m here!" Todo called out from the window, catching everyone’s attention.
Gallus looked up, surprised and relieved. "Todo! We’re stuck in here! The door won’t budge!"
Todo grinned, his enthusiasm never wavering. "Not for long!"
With a mighty push, Todo forced the window open. He squeezed through the narrow opening, dropping into the room with the others. "Everyone, stand back," he instructed.
The students moved away from the door as Todo approached it. He took a deep breath, gathering his energy, and then with one powerful punch, he struck the door with all his might. The force of the blow shattered the magical lock, and the door swung open with a loud crash.
The Young Six and the Tokyo students cheered as the door flew open. Yūji clapped Todo on the back. "You really saved us there, Todo. Thanks!"
Nobara nodded in approval. "Nice work. We were starting to think we’d be stuck in here for a while."
Gallus and the other Young Six members were equally relieved. "We owe you one, Todo," Smolder said with a grateful smile.
Todo waved off their thanks, his grin widening. "No need for that. We’ve got bigger things to worry about. Now, let’s go help the others. Starlight’s been rescued, but we’re not done yet."
With the door open and everyone free, the group quickly rejoined the others. United once more, the Tokyo students, Young Six, and the rest of their allies prepared to confront Cozy Glow and put an end to her plans. The rescue mission was successful, but they all knew the final battle was just beginning.
Momo and Mai walk up to the group, which includes the Tokyo students, teachers, the Young Six, and the Kyoto students. Momo speaks with urgency, "Everyone, we need to talk. We've just learned something important."
Mai, her expression serious, adds, "It's about Cozy Glow. She's not what she seems at all."
Megum, arms crossed, tilts his head, "What exactly do you mean?"
Momo glances at everyone before continuing, "She's been draining all the magic and cursed energy in Equestria. That's why everything feels off."
Gallus looks surprised, "Draining all the magic? But why?"
Nanami, ever the pragmatist, frowns, "This explains the strange fluctuations we've been sensing. We need to address this immediately."
Yuji clenches his fists, "So, what do we do now?"
Mai exchanges a look with Momo, "We have to confront her before she causes any more damage."
As the Crusaders engage Cozy Glow in conversation, drawing her attention away, the students, teachers, and the Young Six quietly slip into the room where they find Neighsay chained to a chair. His eyes narrow as they enter, clearly expecting retribution for his past actions.
"You've come to exact your revenge, haven’t you?" Neighsay sneers, his voice tinged with resignation.
Yuji steps forward, shaking his head. "No, that's not why we're here. We're here to help you."
Neighsay looks confused as the group quickly works to free him from his chains. Once he's free, he rubs his wrists, clearly surprised by their actions.
Nobara explains, "Cozy Glow has been draining all the magic and cursed energy in Equestria. We need to stop her, and we thought you should know what's really going on."
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Neighsay’s expression shifts from suspicion to determination. "If that's the case, we must act quickly. I'll try to reach Celestia and warn her."
Neighsay focuses, casting a portal with a burst of magic. The swirling energy begins to form, showing a distant view of Canterlot.
"Good luck," Mei Mei says, her voice steady, reflecting the seriousness of the moment.
Neighsay nods solemnly before stepping through the portal, leaving the group to face the looming threat of Cozy Glow.
Back in Tartarus, Twilight Sparkle stands surrounded by the monstrous creatures, their eyes filled with a desperate hope. One by one, they channel their magic into her, their once formidable powers flowing into Twilight. Even Tirek, the most feared among them, relinquishes his magic, knowing it's their only chance.
With the combined magic coursing through her, Twilight concentrates and directs her power toward the massive door that has kept them imprisoned. The ancient locks groan and creak before finally giving way, the door slowly swinging open.
Twilight and the Mane Six, with Gojo at their side, waste no time. They rush through the door, escaping the dark confines of Tartarus. The door slams shut behind them with a resounding boom, sealing the now powerless creatures inside.
The group pauses for a moment, catching their breath, knowing that they've narrowly escaped a dire fate.
Back at the School of Friendship, Cozy Glow leads the pony students, her voice filled with false concern as she spins a tale of deception. "The jujutsu sorcerers and the Young Six trapped Starlight in there because they don’t have any magic," she tells the students, her words laced with manipulation.
Convinced by Cozy's lies, the pony students move to grab the jujutsu sorcerers and the Young Six. In the commotion, Gallus slips and falls into a swirling vortex that suddenly appears beneath him. Without hesitation, the others rush to save him, but the claws of the vortex grip tightly, pulling all of them in.
As they disappear into the vortex, the pony students watch in shock, realizing that the group had sacrificed themselves to save their friend. Despite this, Cozy Glow coldly tells them, "Leave them. They were the ones who caused this in the first place."
Just then, a brilliant rainbow magic begins to swirl around the group inside the vortex. The magic surrounds them, pulling them out of the vortex and back to safety. As they emerge, they manage to grab the artifacts, which radiates with power.
The magic bubble spreads across Equestria, restoring magic and cursed energy to the land. In the distance, Gojo, now back at the school with the Mane Six, watches with a knowing smile. He senses the return of magic and the presence of his students' energy, proud of their actions.
With a snap of his fingers, Gojo teleports the Mane Six and himself back to the School of Friendship, ready to join the others as the balance of magic is restored.
Cozy Glow's face twists with fury as the reality of her failed plan sets in. "Great, just great! Now Twilight and her ridiculous friends are going to show up and ruin everything!" she snaps, her voice dripping with frustration and anger.
As if on cue, a blinding flash of light fills the room. When it fades, Gojo Satoru and the Mane Six stand before her, their expressions a mix of anger and determination. The room falls silent as the intensity of their presence becomes palpable. Cozy Glow’s eyes widen in fear, and she takes a step back, realizing that her time is up.
Desperation takes over, and Cozy Glow turns on her hooves, trying to make a quick escape. But the pegasi and royal guards, already prepared, swoop down and block every possible exit. She skids to a halt, trapped on all sides. The realization that she has nowhere to go begins to sink in, and her bravado quickly fades.
Just then, Princess Luna steps forward, her tall figure commanding respect and authority. Her eyes lock onto Cozy Glow, who now cowers under her gaze. "Cozy Glow, your schemes end here. You will be taken to Tartarus, where you can no longer harm the creatures of Equestria."
Luna’s voice is cold and firm, leaving no room for argument. With a flick of her horn, she conjures magical restraints that bind Cozy Glow, preventing any further attempts to escape. The young villain is then surrounded by the guards, who ensure she cannot slip away as they prepare to escort her to Tartarus.
Cozy Glow, now completely defeated, glares at the Mane Six and the jujutsu sorcerers, her once smug expression replaced with a mix of fear and bitterness. "This isn’t over," she mutters under her breath, though the fire in her words is all but extinguished.
Luna gives a solemn nod to the Mane Six and Gojo before she and the guards, with Cozy Glow in tow, vanish into the shadows, heading toward Tartarus. The heavy door to the school closes behind them with a finality that echoes through the hall.
With the immediate threat dealt with, the tension in the room begins to dissipate. Gojo turns to his students, his usual laid-back demeanor returning. He steps forward, ruffling Yuji’s hair, then Megumi’s, and finally Nobara’s. "You all did an amazing job," he says with a smile, pride evident in his voice. "I knew you had it in you. I’m proud of each and every one of you."
Yuji grins, trying to smooth his hair back down, while Megumi gives a small, appreciative nod. Nobara, though pretending to be annoyed by the gesture, can’t hide the smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
Not far away, Utahime steps up to the Kyoto students, who have gathered together after the intense ordeal. Her usual stern expression softens as she looks at them. "You handled yourselves well. I’m proud of all of you," she says, her voice gentle but sincere.
Mai crosses her arms and smirks, trying to play it cool, but it’s clear that the praise means a lot to her. Momo and the others exchange relieved smiles, the weight of what they’ve accomplished beginning to settle in.
The Mane Six, watching this exchange, share a look of mutual respect with the sorcerers. They know that without the combined efforts of everyone involved, Equestria might have been lost. Twilight steps forward, addressing the group, "Thank you all for your bravery and for standing up against Cozy Glow. Equestria owes you a great debt."
The room, once filled with uncertainty and fear, now feels lighter, filled with the warmth of camaraderie and shared victory. As everyone begins to relax, the knowledge that they’ve restored balance to Equestria and protected their friends brings a deep sense of satisfaction.
Gojo, glancing at the Mane Six, gives a knowing smile. "I think we could all use a little rest after this. What do you say?"
Twilight nods, a relieved smile on her face. "I couldn’t agree more."
With the school now safe and the magic and cursed energy restored to Equestria, the group slowly disperses, the bonds formed during this trial stronger than ever. As they leave the room, the sense of unity and the knowledge that they’ve done something truly important lingers in the air, a testament to their courage and teamwork.

The beginning of the end (part 2)
As the last of the Elements of Harmony crumbled into dust, a heavy silence fell over the room. Twilight Sparkle knelt by the broken pieces, her eyes wide with shock, her breath coming in shallow gasps. She had always believed in the power of the Elements—of friendship—but now they were gone. How could they possibly defeat Sombra without them?
The jujutsu sorcerers and the Mane Six exchanged glances. There was no time to panic, no time to mourn the loss. Sombra stood before them, his dark laughter echoing through the throne room, his eyes gleaming with malevolent satisfaction.
“Did you really think it would be that easy?” Sombra sneered, his horn glowing with dark energy. “The Elements of Harmony were a crutch—a tool you relied on for far too long. But now, they are nothing.”
Twilight’s mind raced as she frantically tried to think of a solution. She had been in tight spots before, but this felt different. She didn’t have the Elements, and her friends—all of them—were in danger.
Rainbow Dash growled, her wings flaring. “We don’t need the Elements to kick your butt, Sombra!”
Yuji clenched his fists, his cursed energy flaring. “She’s right! We’re not giving up that easily.”
But before any of them could make a move, Sombra’s dark magic surged forward. With a wave of his horn, jagged rocks burst from the ground, encasing each of them in separate stone prisons. The rocks glowed with an eerie energy, blocking out both magic and cursed energy.
Twilight’s horn sparked as she tried to cast a spell, but nothing happened. She was trapped, her magic useless. The others struggled against the stone, but the more they fought, the tighter the prison became.
“You’ll never win, Sombra!” Applejack shouted, trying to buck against the rocks, but they wouldn’t budge.
Sombra chuckled darkly, his eyes gleaming with triumph. “I already have. With the Elements destroyed and your magic nullified, Equestria is mine. And once I’ve crushed this little rebellion, I will spread my rule to all corners of your world.”
He turned, his dark cape billowing behind him as he strode toward the exit of the throne room. “Enjoy your final moments together. When I return, I will claim what is rightfully mine.”
With a flash of his magic, Sombra disappeared, leaving the Mane Six and the jujutsu sorcerers trapped in their stone prisons. The room was silent except for the sound of their breathing, each of them processing the weight of what had just happened.
For a long moment, no one spoke. Then, slowly, panic began to set in.
“I can’t move!” Pinkie Pie said, her voice trembling. “I can’t feel my hooves!”
Rarity’s voice wavered with fear. “Darling, what are we going to do? Without the Elements…without our magic…we’re helpless.”
Fluttershy whimpered softly, her eyes filled with tears. “We’ve lost…he’s going to take over Equestria.”
Yuji, still straining against his prison, gritted his teeth. “No, we can’t give up! There has to be a way out of this.”
Twilight, though her body was trapped, closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. “I know we’re scared,” she said, her voice wavering but resolute. “But we can’t lose hope. The Elements may be gone, but friendship isn’t.”
She looked around at her friends—both the ponies and the jujutsu sorcerers. “We’ve faced impossible odds before. And we’ve always come through because we’ve had each other. Sombra thinks he’s won, but we’re not alone. We have something stronger than magic. We have each other.”
The ponies nodded, finding strength in Twilight’s words. But as they reassured one another, Gojo’s usually easy-going demeanor turned uncharacteristically serious. His thoughts drifted far away from Equestria, to the people he had left behind.
Utahime… Ijichi… Shoko… Nanami.
For the first time in a long time, a sense of helplessness gnawed at Gojo. He couldn’t protect them here. He had always been so confident, so sure of his power, but now, in this strange world, cut off from his cursed energy, he was no different from the others. Powerless.
He clenched his fists, his heart heavy. Utahime’s stern voice echoed in his mind, reminding him of their arguments, their camaraderie. He thought of Ijichi’s nervous face, Shoko’s dry wit, Nanami’s unwavering reliability. These were the people he had fought alongside for so long—people he cared about. And here he was, unable to help.
Yuji, noticing Gojo’s uncharacteristic silence, glanced over. “Sensei? Are you okay?”
Gojo snapped out of his thoughts, his usual grin returning, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Of course, I’m okay. Just thinking about how we’re going to get out of this mess.”
But as the sorcerers and ponies tried to come up with a plan, Twilight focused on the broken pieces of the Elements of Harmony scattered around her. Her mind raced, recalling every lesson she had learned about the Elements, about the Tree of Harmony, about the magic of friendship.
There had to be a way to fix them.
As Twilight tried to piece together the shattered Elements of Harmony, her horn glowing weakly, Gojo silently stepped forward, surveying the situation with narrowed eyes. He could feel the crushing weight of Sombra's magic still lingering in the air, and it gnawed at him that they were running out of time.
Twilight, her breath coming in quick, frustrated gasps, finally stepped back from the broken fragments. "It's no use," she whispered, her voice trembling. "I can't fix them… and without the Elements, we can't stop Sombra. Everypony we care about is in danger."
Her words hung in the air like a heavy cloud, and the group stood in silence for a moment, feeling the hopelessness sink in. Yuji frowned, stepping up beside Twilight. “There’s got to be something else we can do. We can’t just give up now.”
But before anyone else could speak, Gojo chuckled softly. It was the kind of laugh that carried a dangerous sense of ease, the kind that only came when he had a plan—no matter how reckless.
"Looks like it’s time for me to take charge," Gojo said, his voice casual but with a hint of authority that made everyone look at him. He crouched down, tracing his finger along the ground, drawing strange, intricate symbols in a large circle around the group.
Yuji, confused but trusting his teacher, tilted his head. “Uh, sensei? What are you doing?”
June, also unsure, added, “Are we supposed to just… stand here?”
Gojo smirked, glancing at his students. “Trust me. You’ll see soon enough.”
The symbols began to glow faintly as Gojo’s cursed energy poured into them. Twilight, still frazzled from her failed attempt to repair the Elements, looked at him curiously. “Gojo, what…?”
“We don’t need to fix the Elements,” Gojo said, standing up and brushing his hands together. “We just need to be where Sombra is.”
Yuji’s eyes widened in realization. “You’re going to teleport us?”
Gojo nodded, the symbols around them starting to hum with energy. “Exactly. Sombra thinks he can run this place like his little personal playground, but I’m not in the mood to let him have his fun.” He glanced at Twilight. “You ready to take on a whole brainwashed kingdom?”
Twilight swallowed, still worried about the mind-controlled ponies, but she nodded. “We don’t have a choice. We need to save them.”
The energy surged around them, and in an instant, the group was enveloped in light. The ground beneath them seemed to shift and warp, and before they knew it, they were no longer in the shattered throne room.
They appeared in the heart of Ponyville, but the place was unrecognizable. The once cheerful and vibrant town was draped in dark shadows, the buildings lined with ominous black crystals. Ponies moved about the streets like hollow shells, their eyes glowing green under Sombra’s dark influence.
Twilight gasped. “No… Everypony…”
As they moved through the town, they saw familiar faces—friends, neighbors, all under Sombra’s control. The Cakes, who owned Sugarcube Corner, were standing outside their shop, working with blank expressions to bake what looked like a hideous black cake, oozing with darkness. On top, in sickly green icing, the words "For King Sombra" were scrawled.
Twilight rushed forward, her heart aching at the sight. “Mr. Cake! Mrs. Cake! Can you hear me?”
But they didn’t respond, their eyes glowing with the same sickly green light that haunted every other pony.
Twilight tried casting a spell to break Sombra’s control, but nothing happened. “It’s not working,” she said, panic rising in her voice. “I can’t snap them out of it!”
Yuji clenched his fists. “This is bad. We’ve got to do something.”
But Gojo didn’t seem fazed. He observed the scene with a calm smile, hands in his pockets. “Looks like Sombra’s got them pretty deep under his spell. Guess it’s not as simple as just knocking them out of it.”
Twilight, desperate, tried again to use her magic, this time aiming at a group of ponies gathering at the town square. But once more, her spell fizzled out uselessly. “Why isn’t this working?!”
Gojo sighed, tilting his head thoughtfully. “Sombra’s dark magic is strong. It’s woven into the fabric of their minds. You won’t be able to break it with just normal magic.”
Nobara looked around at the mind-controlled ponies, her usual smirk gone. “So what do we do? We can’t just leave them like this.”
Gojo finally turned to face the group, his expression serious for once. “First, we find Sombra. Stopping him is the key. Break his control, and everyone else will be free.”
Twilight nodded, though her heart was heavy with worry for her friends. "But where could he be? How do we find him?"
As Gojo stood, quietly contemplating their next move, his keen eyes scanned the darkened, twisted streets of Ponyville. Amid the blank-faced, mind-controlled ponies wandering aimlessly, one figure caught his attention. His heart skipped a beat.
It was Utahime.
She moved like the others, her eyes glowing with that eerie green light, her expression vacant. Gojo’s usually carefree demeanor faltered for just a moment as he stepped forward, pushing his way through the scattered ponies until he stood directly in front of her.
"Utahime..." he murmured softly.
She didn’t respond. Her gaze was distant, focused on nothing as she walked past him, completely oblivious to his presence. Gojo's heart tightened at the sight. This wasn’t the sharp, no-nonsense Utahime he knew. This was a puppet of Sombra’s dark magic, stripped of her will.
Without thinking, Gojo reached out. He gently cupped her face in his hands, his thumbs brushing against her cheeks with surprising tenderness. For a moment, he forgot about the danger around them. All he could see was her, lost in this horrible spell, and the thought of her like this made something deep inside him stir—something protective.
"Utahime…" he whispered again, this time with more urgency. His usual playful tone was gone, replaced by something softer, more vulnerable. "Come on… wake up."
But she remained unresponsive, her eyes still glowing with that unnatural green light. Gojo gritted his teeth. He could feel the cursed energy inside him stirring, but the dark magic surrounding her was strong, making it difficult for him to break through.
He closed his eyes for a moment, focusing, letting his cursed energy flow gently through his hands. It wasn’t brute force that would snap her out of this—it was something else. Something softer. He knew she’d be furious later, but right now, all that mattered was getting her back.
"You're stronger than this," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I know you are."
Slowly, the green glow in her eyes began to flicker, the dark magic struggling to hold its grip. For the briefest moment, her eyes met his, and the vacant expression softened just slightly.
Then, without warning, there was a loud crash behind them. The ground shook, and the air was suddenly filled with the sound of crackling branches and roaring winds.
“Uh, guys?” Yuji called out, his voice laced with concern. “I think we’ve got another problem!”
Gojo reluctantly released Utahime’s face, his attention snapping to the commotion. In the distance, the Everfree Forest had come alive—or more accurately, out of control. The thick, twisted vines and branches that usually stayed deep within the forest were now creeping into Ponyville, growing wild and untamed, spreading like a plague across the land.
Twilight gasped as she saw the thick vines creeping closer, their thorny branches stretching toward the town like dark tentacles. “The Everfree Forest! It’s… it’s out of control!”
Applejack’s eyes widened. “This ain’t good. That forest’s got a mind of its own on a good day. If it’s runnin’ wild, we’re in serious trouble!”
Yuji, always quick to jump into action, spotted a nearby cart full of old gardening tools—shovels, shears, rakes, anything that could be used to fight back the invading plant life. With a determined grin, he grabbed a bundle of tools and tossed them to the others.
"Here, take these!" Yuji called out as he flung a shovel toward Applejack, who caught it with ease.
"Uh, Yuji, you think gardening tools are gonna stop *that*?" Rainbow Dash asked, eyeing the rapidly approaching vines with a skeptical glance.
Yuji grinned, his usual confidence shining through. “It’s worth a shot!”
The ponies and jujutsu sorcerers grabbed what they could. Applejack wielded her shovel like a seasoned pro, cutting away at the nearest vines. Twilight used her magic to hold some of the larger branches at bay, though her magic still felt weak against the growing chaos.
“Keep cutting them back!” Twilight shouted. “We need to keep them from reaching the town!”
As the group frantically worked to keep the vines at bay, Gojo turned back to Utahime, whose eyes were now clear but filled with confusion. She blinked, her usual sharpness slowly returning as she realized where she was—and who was standing in front of her.
“Gojo…?” she muttered, her voice hoarse. “What—what happened? Where am I?”
Gojo let out a small, relieved laugh. “You were… under a bit of a spell. But you’re back now.”
Utahime’s eyes flickered with frustration as she processed everything, but before she could snap at him for his usual casual attitude, she saw the chaos around them—the vines creeping ever closer, the mind-controlled ponies stumbling through the streets.
"What's going on?" she asked, still disoriented but quickly regaining her composure.
Gojo flashed his usual grin, though this time there was a glint of sincerity in his eyes. "Long story, but we’ve got a kingdom to save. Mind lending a hand?"
Utahime sighed, brushing herself off. “Let’s just get this over with.”
Gojo turned his attention back to the chaotic forest and the spreading vines. They were resilient, far more than any ordinary plants, but he was sure they could hold them off—at least for now.
Yuji, hacking at the vines with a hoe, called out, “Gojo, any bright ideas?”
Gojo grinned. “Just one. Let’s stop the forest from taking over, then we’ll deal with Sombra.”
Twilight, panting from the strain of holding back the vines, looked at Gojo with renewed hope. “If we can stop the Everfree Forest, we might have a chance to regroup and come up with a plan.”
As the vines pressed in closer, the group braced themselves for another intense fight. The fate of Equestria hung in the balance, and with Sombra still at large, the battle was far from over.
But with their friends by their side, they were ready to face whatever came next.
As the group fought against the rapidly encroaching vines, Yuji, sweating from the effort, swung a rake at one of the larger, thornier branches. He grinned, despite the chaos around him, and muttered under his breath, “Man, I could really use Chainsaw Man right about now…”
Megumi groaned, slashing at the vines with a set of gardening shears. “Yuji, not the time for your anime references.”
Nobara, smacking down a vine with a shovel, shot him a look. “Seriously, shut up, Yuji!”
Before Yuji could respond, a brilliant flash of light lit up the sky, so blinding that the group had to shield their eyes. The oppressive weight of the Everfree Forest’s chaotic magic lifted in an instant, and when the light faded, the vines that had been swallowing the town were no more. In their place stood Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, their regal forms glowing with immense power. Standing beside them was none other than the legendary wizard, Starswirl the Bearded, his ancient eyes twinkling with magic.
Twilight gasped, her heart soaring with relief. “Princess Celestia! Princess Luna! Starswirl!”
Celestia, her mane flowing in an ethereal breeze, smiled warmly at her former student. “Twilight, we sensed the disturbance and came as quickly as we could.”
Luna, her sharp gaze taking in the remnants of the chaos, nodded grimly. “It seems Sombra’s dark magic is spreading far beyond the Crystal Empire.”
Starswirl stepped forward, his horn glowing with residual magic from obliterating the vines. “The Everfree Forest is under control—for now. We will handle this while you and your friends continue to confront Sombra.”
Twilight, still panting from the effort of holding back the vines, bowed her head in gratitude. “Thank you, all of you. But we still need to stop Sombra before he takes over all of Equestria.”
Celestia stepped closer, her expression somber. “Go quickly, Twilight. Time is running out, and Sombra’s control is growing stronger.”
Twilight nodded, determination flickering in her eyes. “We will.”
With the vine threat neutralized, the sorcerers and ponies wasted no time. They charged toward Sombra’s dark castle, its once crystalline spires now corrupted by thick, black magic. The sky above it churned with storm clouds, and an oppressive energy radiated from the structure.
As they approached the castle, the group encountered throngs of mind-controlled ponies—unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies—all under Sombra’s thrall. Their eyes glowed the same eerie green, and they blocked the way forward, determined to stop any who would oppose their dark king.
Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi stepped forward, ready to fight. "Looks like we're going to have to go through them," Megumi muttered, summoning his cursed shadow creatures to help.
Applejack cracked her neck, tightening her grip on the shovel she'd been using. "Let’s get to it, then!"
The battle was fierce. The mind-controlled unicorns hurled blasts of dark magic, while pegasi swooped down from the sky, their wings like sharp blades. Earth ponies charged with incredible strength, and it was all the group could do to hold their ground.
Twilight and Rarity threw up magical shields to protect their friends, while Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy worked to disarm the attacking pegasi. Meanwhile, Yuji leapt into the fray, dodging blasts of magic and knocking out enemies with precision strikes. Nobara expertly used her Straw Doll Technique, pinning enemies in place, while Megumi’s Shikigami tore through the battlefield with savage efficiency.
Despite the strength of the mind-controlled ponies, the combined forces of the jujutsu sorcerers and the Mane Six slowly pushed their way forward. Twilight was about to teleport them closer to the castle when they were suddenly stopped by a familiar sight.
At the entrance to the castle stood Nanami and Shoko, both under Sombra’s control, their eyes glowing that unnatural green. Nanami stood stoically, his cursed energy radiating off him in dangerous waves, while Shoko’s usually calm demeanor was replaced with a cold, unfeeling gaze.
Yuji’s heart dropped. “Nanami… Shoko-sensei…?”
Nobara gritted her teeth. “No… not them too.”
Twilight, realizing the gravity of the situation, knew they couldn’t afford to fight their own allies—especially not Nanami, whose power was formidable even on a normal day.
“Twilight!” Yuji called out, panic edging into his voice. “What do we do?!”
Twilight quickly made a decision. Her horn flared with magic, and in an instant, she teleported herself, Yuji, Nobara, Megumi, and June alng with he ane six into the castle, leaving the mind-controlled Nanami and Shoko behind for now.
They reappeared inside the dark, twisted halls of the castle, the air thick with the stench of Sombra’s magic. The sudden change in atmosphere was almost suffocating. The walls shimmered with black crystals, and the shadows seemed to move as if alive, whispering threats in an ancient, dark language.
Yuji stumbled forward, still reeling from the shock of seeing Nanami and Shoko like that. “Sensei… we need to help them.”
Twilight, though focused on the mission, nodded in agreement. “We will. But right now, we need to get to Sombra. If we can stop him, we can free everyone—including Nanami and Shoko.”
June, who had been quiet, looked down at her hands, clenching them into fists. “He’s using them, just like the others. We can’t let this continue.”
Nobara, shaking off her initial shock, huffed. “No way am I letting Sombra get away with messing with our people.”
Megumi, always the strategist, surveyed the dark hallways. “We don’t know where Sombra is hiding, but we’ll need to be ready for anything. He’s not going to make this easy.”
Twilight’s eyes narrowed as she led the way deeper into the castle, her heart pounding with a mixture of fear and determination. “We’ll find him. And when we do, we’ll make sure he never hurts anyone again.”
With their resolve stronger than ever, the group pressed forward, ready to face whatever horrors awaited them in the dark heart of Sombra’s twisted castle.
As Twilight and the others made their way deeper into the twisted halls of Sombra's castle, the oppressive energy only seemed to grow stronger. The air was thick, almost suffocating, and the dark magic seemed to press down on them with every step. Just when it seemed like the weight of the atmosphere was too much to bear, there was a sudden *pop* sound from behind them.
"Well, well, well, what have we here?"
Everyone whipped around to see Discord, floating lazily in the air, a mischievous grin on his face. As usual, he seemed completely unaffected by the dark magic surrounding them. What was more, he was holding a jar of pickles, which he casually plucked from and chewed with loud, deliberate crunches.
"Oh, don’t mind me," Discord said between bites, hovering directly above June and Nobara, dangling the pickles just inches above their heads. "Just enjoying a snack while I watch you all struggle. Quite entertaining, really."
Nobara immediately scowled, glancing up as a pickle dangled precariously close to her hair. "Seriously? Now? Could you *not* eat pickles over our heads?"
June shot him a glare as well, wiping off a few drops of pickle juice that had landed on her. "Yeah, gross."
Discord chuckled, completely unfazed. “I can’t help it, darling. Watching you all struggle to save Equestria gives me an appetite.” He crunched another pickle loudly and offered the jar to Yuji with a sly grin. "Care for one?"
Yuji, too focused on the situation, waved his hand dismissively. “We don’t have time for this, Discord! Sombra’s controlling everyone, and we’re trying to save Equestria.”
Discord sighed dramatically, tossing the empty pickle jar aside, which turned into a cloud of confetti as it hit the ground. “Oh, I know, I know. Dark magic, mind control, yadda yadda yadda.” He stretched out his limbs in an exaggerated yawn, floating lazily in the air. “But really, why is everyone so *serious* all the time? It’s so *boring*.”
Twilight stepped forward, her patience visibly thinning. “Discord, we need your help. Sombra’s forces are all over the place, and we’re not going to get to him if we keep getting held up.”
At this, Discord’s chaotic eyes sparkled with a bit more interest. He glanced at the jujutsu sorcerers, his grin widening. “Oh, so you’re actually asking for my help? My, my, what a delightful turn of events! I do enjoy being *needed*.”
Megumi, ever the skeptic, crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow. “Are you actually going to help, or are you just going to make things worse?”
Discord’s grin only widened. “Oh, come now, Megumi! Have a little faith.” He snapped his fingers, causing a cascade of rainbow sparkles to float around the group before they quickly evaporated.
Just as Yuji was about to retort, the sound of hooves pounding against the stone floors echoed through the hallway. A group of palace guards, their eyes glowing with Sombra’s dark magic, charged toward them, armored and ready to attack.
Twilight's horn flared up, but before she could cast a spell, Discord lazily waved his paw. "I suppose I could lend a hand… or a claw. Whatever."
With another snap of his fingers, the charging guards were suddenly suspended mid-air, their hooves kicking in confusion as they hovered above the ground in bubbles of translucent, chaotic magic. The guards flailed helplessly, their weapons clattering to the ground, while Discord casually floated next to them, inspecting his nails. “Really, Sombra could’ve used more creativity with his minions. They're all so dreadfully serious.”
The sorcerers, though usually wary of Discord’s chaotic nature, exchanged grateful glances.
“I’m not gonna lie, that was actually helpful,” Yuji admitted, looking up at the floating guards.
Even Nobara, though still wiping pickle juice off her hair, begrudgingly nodded. “Okay, I’ll give you that. But can you stop with the pickles?”
Discord snapped his fingers, and the remaining pickles above their heads transformed into harmless little clouds that drifted away. He winked at Nobara. “There, better?”
She rolled her eyes but didn’t argue, relieved to be free from the random snack rain.
Twilight, realizing that Discord was actually being helpful for once, nodded in appreciation. “Thank you, Discord. Now we can focus on getting to Sombra.”
Discord floated in front of them, striking a dramatic pose. “Yes, yes, all part of the glorious plan! Saving the day, helping friends, eating pickles—ah, what a wonderful life I lead.”
June looked at him skeptically. “I still don’t trust him.”
“I wouldn’t either,” Megumi muttered under his breath.
But despite their complaints, the group continued forward, with Discord trailing lazily behind, occasionally adding little flourishes of chaos to their path. When another set of guards appeared in the hallway, Discord snapped them away with little more than a flick of his fingers, sending them floating harmlessly into the air. For the first time, the sorcerers found themselves grateful for his particular brand of chaos.
As they neared the central throne room of the castle, Twilight’s heart raced. “This is it,” she said, her voice tight with anticipation. “Sombra’s in there. We have to end this.”
Discord floated ahead, peeking around the corner with a playful smirk. “Oh, this is going to be *fun.* I do love a good showdown.”
Without another word, Twilight teleported the group inside the dark, oppressive throne room, where the final battle with Sombra awaited them.
The group burst into Sombra’s throne room, the air thick with dark energy. At the far end of the room, on a towering, twisted throne of black crystal, sat King Sombra himself, his eyes glowing a sinister green, his horn crackling with dark magic. His wicked grin spread wider as he noticed their arrival.
“Ah, Twilight Sparkle,” Sombra sneered, his voice dripping with malice. “And your little friends from another world. How convenient of you to deliver yourselves to me.”
Before anyone could react, Sombra’s horn lit up, and with a booming roar, he unleashed a torrent of dark magic aimed directly at the sorcerers and June. The attack surged across the room with terrifying speed, and the sorcerers barely had time to register the danger before it was upon them.
Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi barely had a moment to brace themselves as the magic closed in, eyes wide in shock.
“Watch out!” Twilight screamed, but it was too late.
In an instant, Discord zipped forward, snapping his fingers with a dramatic flourish. A shimmering, chaotic shield of energy appeared in front of the group just as Sombra’s attack struck. The dark magic crashed into Discord’s barrier and was deflected with a blinding flash, sending the energy ricocheting harmlessly away.
June, still trembling from the near-miss, gasped. “That was close…”
The sorcerers let out collective sighs of relief, realizing they had narrowly avoided being blasted by dark magic.
Yuji exhaled shakily. “Thanks, Discord. That was—”
But before he could finish, Sombra launched another volley of dark energy toward them, this time even more powerful. Once again, Discord effortlessly flicked it aside, yawning dramatically as he did so.
“Oh, please,” Discord said, brushing imaginary dust off his shoulder. “Is this the best you’ve got, Sombra? I expected at least a little creativity. You call yourself a dark lord, but your attacks are so... predictable.”
Sombra growled in frustration, his eyes narrowing. “You insolent creature! You will regret interfering with my plans!”
Discord, however, was completely unfazed. “Oh, I’ve heard that before,” he said with a smug grin. “Do you know how many ‘dark lords’ I’ve dealt with? You’re really not that special.”
As Discord continued to effortlessly deflect each of Sombra’s attacks, he turned his attention back to the ponies and sorcerers, floating above them casually. “So, as I was saying earlier, Twilight,” he began, his tone light, “after we deal with this whole ‘Sombra taking over Equestria’ nonsense, I’m thinking we should really spruce up your castle. You know, maybe add a slide or two, a few floating chairs. Really liven the place up.”
Twilight blinked, clearly confused by Discord’s sudden change of topic. “Discord, now is *not* the time—”
But before she could finish, Discord was hit square in the chest by one of Sombra’s bolts of dark magic. The attack sent him flying backward, crashing into the far wall with a loud, echoing thud.
“Discord!” Fluttershy cried out, her voice trembling as she rushed toward him, tears welling up in her eyes.
The room went eerily quiet as the sorcerers and ponies processed what had just happened. Discord, who had been so effortlessly playful and carefree, now lay motionless against the wall, his usual chaotic energy dimmed.
Fluttershy knelt beside him, her voice shaking. “D-Discord? Please, say something…”
For once, Discord didn’t respond with a quip or a joke. His eyes flickered weakly, and his form seemed to shrink slightly as he tried to sit up. “Oh dear… That… stung a little more than I expected.”
Fluttershy’s tears flowed freely now, her face filled with worry. “You’ll be okay, right? You’re always okay…”
The sorcerers, though not as emotionally close to Discord, couldn’t help but feel the weight of the moment. Yuji’s usual smile faltered, and he shifted uncomfortably, guilt bubbling up inside him.
“We… we should’ve been more careful,” Yuji muttered, his fists clenching. “If Discord hadn’t been here, that attack would've hit us.”
Nobara bit her lip, her usual tough exterior softening. “I hate to admit it, but we owe him.”
Even Megumi, usually so composed, looked troubled. “He didn’t have to protect us. And now… this.”
As Fluttershy sobbed softly beside Discord, Twilight’s heart ached for her friend. She stepped forward, her voice firm despite the tears in her eyes. “We can’t let this happen. Sombra needs to be stopped, *now*.”
But Sombra only laughed, his voice cold and mocking. “You think you can stop me? You have no Elements of Harmony, no chaotic trickster to save you this time.”
Twilight's horn glowed with renewed determination as she faced Sombra head-on. "We don’t need the Elements, and we don’t need tricks. We have each other, and that’s more powerful than anything you’ll ever understand."
The sorcerers, their grief for Discord fueling their resolve, stepped forward, joining Twilight and her friends. Yuji’s cursed energy flickered around him, Megumi summoned his Shikigami, and Nobara gripped her hammer tightly, June takes her bo staff, deadly grip in her hand, her knuckles white with fury.
“We’ll take you down,” Yuji said, his voice filled with determination.
Sombra's cruel smile faltered for just a moment as the united front stood before him, stronger than before. Even without Discord’s chaotic magic, they were ready to fight—and win.
As the final wave of Sombra’s dark magic surged toward the group, Twilight Sparkle’s horn flared to life, its radiant glow cutting through the shadows. With a powerful blast of magic, she formed a shimmering shield, large enough to protect everyone—ponies and sorcerers alike. The dark energy slammed into the barrier, but Twilight held firm, gritting her teeth against the pressure.
“Not this time, Sombra!” Twilight shouted, her voice filled with determination.
Sombra, his grin fading, poured more of his dark magic into the attack, but Twilight's magic held strong. Her friends and the sorcerers stood behind her, watching in awe as the shield repelled the oppressive darkness. In that moment, the magic of friendship surged through Twilight, amplifying her strength. The shield shifted, becoming not just a barrier, but an offensive force. With a single, powerful burst, Twilight unleashed a wave of energy that slammed into Sombra.
The dark lord’s eyes widened in shock as the magic tore through his defenses, stripping away his dark form. The black crystals that had corrupted the room shattered, and the shadowy figure of Sombra began to dissolve.
“No… this can’t be!” Sombra roared, his voice fading as he was consumed by the light. “I… am… eternal!”
But with a final, echoing scream, Sombra was wiped out, his dark magic dissipating into nothingness. As his control faded, the green glow in the eyes of the mind-controlled ponies vanished, and they blinked as if waking from a long, terrible nightmare.
The throne room was still, filled with the quiet, shocked relief of those who had been freed.
Twilight panted, lowering her horn as the last traces of Sombra’s magic vanished. "It's over…" she whispered, the weight of the battle finally lifting.
Suddenly, there was a blur of movement. Gojo, breaking the tension, sprinted across the room toward Utahime, his usual cocky grin nowhere to be found. Without a word, he wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug, surprising everyone, but especially Utahime.
"Wha—Gojo?!" Utahime gasped, stiffening for a moment, completely taken aback. "What are you—"
But Gojo just held her closer, his usual teasing persona replaced with something softer, more genuine. "I thought I’d lost you for a second there," he said, his voice unusually quiet.
Utahime stood frozen for a moment, her mind catching up to what was happening. When she finally relaxed, she cleared her throat, awkwardly patting his back, trying to hide the blush creeping onto her face. "You're such an idiot…"
Across the room, Shoko, Nanami, and Ijichi, who had all been under Sombra’s control, blinked awake, their eyes clearing as they took in their surroundings.
Nanami, ever the professional, adjusted his glasses and sighed heavily. "I was wondering why things felt so… off."
Shoko, always calm, glanced around with a raised eyebrow. "So… did we win?"
Yuji, still recovering from the intensity of the battle, grinned widely. “Yeah! Twilight did it! She totally wiped out Sombra.”
Before anyone could relax further, there was a sudden groan from the corner of the room. Discord, who had been "injured" earlier, dramatically opened one eye and stretched lazily. “Oh, *ouch*. Such pain, such suffering…”
The sorcerers and ponies stared at him, wide-eyed. Fluttershy, still wiping away her tears, gasped. “Discord! You’re okay?!”
Discord floated up into the air, grinning mischievously. “Well, of course I am, my dear Fluttershy. Did you really think *I* would let some second-rate dark lord take me out? I was just… playing along!” He gave a wink, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
Yuji’s jaw dropped. “You were faking the whole time?!”
Nobara’s eye twitched in irritation. “You let us think you were *hurt*! We felt *bad* for you!”
Even June, who had been quietly standing by, shook her head, her baby-blue hair swaying as she processed Discord’s antics. “I can’t believe it,” she muttered, running a hand through her hair in disbelief. “He really had us going…”
Discord chuckled, clearly enjoying their reactions. “Oh, the looks on your faces! Priceless!” He floated over to Fluttershy, who was still sniffling, and gave her a gentle pat on the head. “Don’t worry, dear. I’m just fine.”
Gojo, finally letting go of Utahime, snickered. “Classic Discord move.”
Meanwhile, the doors to the throne room creaked open, and the Kyoto students and the second-year sorcerers entered, having helped secure the rest of the castle. Panda and Maki gave approving nods to the first-years and June, clearly impressed by what they had just witnessed.
"Not bad, first-years," Maki said with a smirk. "You handled yourselves well."
Panda nodded in agreement. "Yeah, you didn’t completely screw it up. That’s an improvement."
Mai from the Kyoto team gave a small, begrudging nod. "You did alright, I guess."
Mechamaru, always practical, simply said, “Mission accomplished.”
Yuji, feeling the weight of the compliments, rubbed the back of his head, embarrassed. "Thanks, but it was really a team effort."
Twilight, standing beside him, smiled warmly. "You’re right, Yuji. We couldn’t have done it without each other."
With Sombra defeated and the ponies freed from his spell, the atmosphere shifted from tense and chaotic to one of relief and quiet celebration. The darkness that had loomed over Equestria had lifted, and together, sorcerers and ponies alike had played their part in saving the day.
As they all stood together, catching their breath and reflecting on the battle, it was clear that a new bond had been forged between these two very different worlds—one built on friendship, bravery, and a little bit of chaos.
As the tension in the room finally dissolved, Gojo—true to form—broke the somber mood by suddenly skipping in a circle around the group, dragging a very confused and exasperated Utahime along by the hand.
“Come on, Utahime! We’ve earned it! Let’s go get candy for *everyone*!” Gojo beamed, his carefree nature fully restored now that the battle was over.
Utahime, stumbling slightly as she was pulled along, glared at him. “Gojo, stop dragging me around! And how exactly do you plan on buying candy? You don’t even have the right currency!”
Gojo slowed down just enough to give her a cheeky grin. “Details, details. I’ll figure something out. After all, I’m the great Satoru Gojo. I can do *anything*.”
Utahime huffed, clearly unimpressed. “You’re ridiculous.”
Before Gojo could offer one of his usual over-the-top retorts, Twilight Sparkle, who had been quietly watching the exchange with an amused smile, stepped forward.
“Actually, I think I can help with that,” Twilight said, her horn glowing softly as she conjured a small pouch of bits, the currency of Equestria. “This should be enough to buy plenty of candy for everyone.”
Gojo’s eyes lit up at the sight of the pouch. “Well, would you look at that! Twilight’s got us covered!” He turned to Utahime with a smug look. “See? No problem at all.”
Utahime facepalmed. “Of course.”
Yuji, overhearing the conversation, pumped his fist in the air. “Yes! Candy time!”
Nobara rolled her eyes but smiled despite herself. “I guess after all that fighting, we *do* deserve a treat.”
Megumi, though still his usual reserved self, couldn’t help but smirk a little at the lightheartedness. “Gojo-sensei never changes…”
June smiled, clearly happy at the bonding time.
As the group began to relax, Gojo, still holding the pouch of bits, continued skipping toward the exit of the castle, calling out over his shoulder, “Alright, everyone, candy’s on me! Let’s go!”
Utahime, still being dragged along, muttered under her breath, “I swear, Gojo, if you keep this up, I’ll—”
“Come on, Utahime!” Gojo interrupted, grinning like a kid. “Candy makes everything better!”
Twilight and the rest of the ponies exchanged amused glances before following after the group, feeling lighter now that the threat of Sombra had passed.
As they made their way out of the castle and back toward Ponyville, it was clear that—despite their differences—the bond between the sorcerers and the ponies had grown stronger. And with Gojo leading the charge toward the nearest candy store, everyone was ready to celebrate their victory with a little sweetness.
