Princess Celestia and Luna have ruled over Equestria for many, many millennia. From their thrones in Canterlot, they govern with fairness and wisdom, but as of late there has been a melancholy about them. After a discussion, they decide to bring Twilight Sparkle to help with an ancient problem; the search and freedom of a pair of alicorn brothers, who the sisters had not seen for so long, and miss greatly.
