In a van down by the river, The Dazzlings were all doing individual things. Adagio Dazzle was writing lyrics for their new song, Aria Blaze was busy with her phone, and Sonata Dusk was cooking a quesadilla on a hotplate.

There was a sudden knock on the van’s sliding door. Adagio opened it up to find all of the girls and Timber Spruce standing outside.

Adagio crossed her arms. “Oh, it’s you guys. What do you want?”

“We’re here because we need your help.” Twilight said. “Have you heard about the recent string of murders?”

Adagio rolled her eyes. “Well duh! We do have access to the internet.”

“We have reason to believe that the killer may be after you and your sisters next.”

“And why is that?”

“Because all of the victims used Equestrian magic. You have also used Equestrian magic, so you might be on the killer’s list.”

“What are you suggesting?”

“That we team up.” Rainbow Dash said. “We stand a better chance against this killer if we work together.”

Aria overheard what was going on and stuck her head out of the van. “We can take care of ourselves. We’re not some weaklings like the other victims were.”

Timber Spruce became furious. “My sister was one of those victims!” He then charged at the van, but AppleJack held him back.

Sonata then appeared at the opening to the van. “Maybe we should team up. From what I’ve heard of this killer, they are very deadly.”

“As if.” Adagio said. “These girls took away our magic, and now we’re stuck as boring humans.”

“You’re lucky that’s all we did to you.” AppleJack said angrily. “Come on guys, we don’t need their help.”

At that moment the flash of light happened, and Killian appeared.

“Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, Sonata Dusk.”

“Who is that?” Sonata asked.

“You are guilty.”

“It’s the killer!” Twilight shouted. “Run!”

Everyone jumped into the van. Rainbow Dash knocked over Adagio while jumping into the driver’s seat. She turned the key and stepped on the peddle as hard as she could. The van took off at an incredible speed.

Just as the van got going, there was a loud thump on the roof. He took out a pair of magicite cycles and tore into the van.

The Dazzlings all screamed. “Who is that?!” Sonata shouted.

“That’s the killer that we were trying to warn you about!” Rainbow Dash shouted back. “I’ll try to lose him. Hang on!” Rainbow Dash then swerved the van violently as it sped down the road.

Killian continued to slash at the roof of the van. He eventually tore it open like an aluminum can. Everyone screamed as Killian reached down and started slashing away with his cycles.

Timber Spruce tried kicking at Killian, but Killian kept dodging out of the way. “I’ve had enough of this!” Aria shouted. She then unplugged the hotplate and swung it around by the cord. The hotplate hit Killian on the side of the head and he fell off of the van. He landed hard and rolled down the street.

Rainbow Dash kept speeding down the street. “Now do you want to work with us?” She asked.

Adagio sat in the passenger's seat. “Alright, we’ll work with you. Do you have a plan?”

Timber spoke from the back of the van. “First we need to find and rescue Sunset. Then you can all use your combined powers to hopefully defeat this maniac.”

“There is a slight problem with that.” Aria said. “You destroyed our amulets, remember? We no longer have magical powers.”

“Then we’ll just have to get them back.” Rainbow Dash said.
