Rainbow Dash pulled up outside of the apartment building where Sunset lived. “What are we doing here?” Adagio asked.

“Sunset has something that can help us get you and your sisters your powers back.” Rainbow Dash said. She then led them into the building and up to the apartment.

Once they all entered the apartment, The Dazzlings looked around in awe.

“Wait, how can Sunset afford this?” Sonata asked. “Doesn’t she work at a sushi restaurant located in the mall?”

Everyone paused and started thinking. “You know, I never really thought about it.” Twilight said.

“Neither have I.” Said Fluttershy.

“It’s a mystery to me.” AppleJack said.

Rainbow Dash became irritated. “Guys, focus! We need to find Sunset’s journal.”

Timber was confused. “How is a journal supposed to help us?”

“It’s no ordinary journal. Sunset uses it to communicate with Princess Twilight back in Equestria.” Pinkie Pie explained.

Everyone spanned out across the apartment to look for the journal. Aria eventually found it under Sunset’s bed pillow. “Is this it?” She asked.

“Yes, that’s it.” Twilight said. She then took the journal from Aria. Twilight grabbed a pen and opened the journal to write a message to Princess Twilight. She informed of the killer murdering people who had used Equestrian magic, the disappearance of Sunset, and teaming up with the Dazzlings. Princess Twilight immediately wrote back.

“What did she say?” Adagio asked.

“Princess Twilight says that she has a way to help us. But she wants to meet with you and your sisters first.” Twilight said.

“You’re kidding, right?” Adagio asked.

“That’s what Princess Twilight wrote. Now we have to get you back to Equestria.”

“Wow. It’s been such a long time since we were banished from Equestria.” Sonata siad.

“So how are we supposed to get back there?” Aria asked.

“There’s a portal to Equestria located in the statue in front of the school.” Rarity said. “We should hurry and get you there.”

Back at Killian’s hideout, Sunset had once again passed out in her chair. Killian slapped her awake, then grabbed a bottle of blue liquid.

“What is that?” Sunset asked.

“It’s a substance called Mana. I found it on one of the worlds where magic was not kept in check. It heals all medical problems, energizes the body, keeps you hydrated, and fights off hunger.”

“How am I supposed to trust you?”

“You don’t have a choice.” Killian then opened the bottle and shoved it into Sunset’s mouth, forcing her to consume it.

After Killian removed the empty bottle from Sunset’s mouth, she coughed loudly. “The taste is something to be desired.”

“Like I said, I need you to live. Besides seeing the magic you brought to this world be destroyed, I have further use of you.”

“My friends will find me eventually!” Sunset shouted.

“That is unlikely. The walls have flakes of magicite in them. No matter how much magic they use, they will never find you.”

Killian then left the room. Sunset slouched in her chair. The Mana seemed to be working, as she no longer felt hungry or thirsty. Sunset also felt reenergized. But she hoped that her friends would be able to find her.

The Dazzlings stood in front of the Canterlot high statue. Adagio looked back at Timber, Rarity, Twilight, AppleJack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie.

“Are you sure that we have to go by ourselves?” She asked.

“That’s what Princess Twilight said.” Twilight told her.

“It’s been so long since we were in Equestria. I wonder how much has changed?” Sonata asked.

“You won’t be there that long.” Rainbow Dash said. “Just know that Princess Twilight is the ruler of Equestria.”

“The loser who thought she could just take us down with only the power of friendship now rules all of Equestria? Figures.” Aria said with her usual look of frustration.

“You should behave yourselves.” Rarity said. “Princess Twilight is the only one who can restore your powers.”

Aria clenched her fist and stepped towards Rarity, but Adagio stopped Aria by putting her hand on her shoulder. “She’s right, we do need our powers back. Besides, she’s not worth it.”

All three of the Dazzlings faced the statue. They all took deep breaths and then stepped into the portal. They went through a very dizzy vortex before emerging on the other side. They looked down to see themselves back in their siren forms.

“Wow, I haven’t seen my original form in ages.” Sonata said.

Princess Twilight then stepped out from the shadows. “I’m glad that the three of you could make it.”

“It’s not like we had much of a choice.” Adagio said. “You were the one who took away our powers in the first place.”

“I had to do it. You were threatening to take over the entire human world.”

“And now you have to give us our powers back to stop an even greater evil.” Aria said with a smug smile. “Oh how the tables have turned.”

Princess Twilight was visibly irritated. “There is a psycho killer running around the human world killing people who have used Equestrian magic! He’s already tried to kill you, and I can’t risk him coming to Equestria. We all need to work together to stop this maniac.”

“We could just stay here in Equestria.” Aria said.

“But I like the human world.” Sonata said. “We have fans that like our music without us controlling them. Plus, the taco is the greatest thing the human world has ever made!”

“From what I’ve been told, this killer has the ability to travel between worlds. Once he’s done in the human world, he’ll come here to Equestria and then on to other worlds with magic. You can’t outrun him forever.” Said Princess Twilight.

Adagio sighed. “Ugh. I hate to admit it, but you’re right. We need to stop this killer before he gets us. So how do we get our powers back?”

Princess Twilight used her magic to remove a spell book from a nearby shelf. “I’ve been doing my research, and there is a way to restore you magical amulets. You will fully regain your powers. But you must know that I am reluctant to do this. I have to know that you will use your powers to defeat this killer, and promise not to abuse your powers to try and take over the human world like you did last time.”
