Both Adagio and Aria were surprised. They didn’t know that Sonata was able to give such a passionate speech.

Princess Twilight nodded her head. “Your words have convinced me. I shall restore your powers.” Princess Twilight then read from the spell book. A bright red light emerged from the book as she read from it, swirling around the Dazzlings necks. Their magic gems were then fully restored.

Twilight closed the book. “You now have your powers back. Please use them responsibly to stop this killer, and to help out the human world. Do not make me regret my decision.”

“We promise.” Adagio said.

“You should hurry back to the human world before it’s too late.” Princess Twilight said.

The Dazzlings then went back through the portal to the human world. When they arrived on the other side the others were there to greet them.

“I see that you got your gems back.” Rainbow Dash said.

“Sonata gave a very impassioned speech.” Adagio said. “And her words convinced us that this world is worth saving, and that we should work together.”

“So, does this mean that you three have completely turned over a new leaf?” Fluttershy asked.

“We’ll see.” Aria replied.

There was a flash of light that emitted from behind the group. They all turned around to find Killian standing before them. He was wielding an ax made of magicite.

“Run! I’ll hold him off!” Timber yelled. He then charged at Killian. Killian simply put his foot up and booted Timber right in the chest, knocking him to the ground.

“I’ve had enough of this!” Rainbow Dash said with a look of anger on her face. She used her power of speed to run circles around Killian, hitting him with quick punches whenever he tried to attack.

Fluttershy used her power over nature to tie Killian up with tree roots, but Killian just cut right through them with his ax.

Killian then tripped Rainbow Dash. He raised his ax high above his head to deliver a killing blow when suddenly there was a loud, piercing noise in the air that was directed at Killian.

The sound was coming from the Dazzlings. They used their newly regained magic to sing at such a high pitch that it caused pain.

Killian dropped his ax as he put his hands over his ears. Timber then grabbed the ax and got back up to his feet. He then swung the ax at Killian and chopped off his right arm.

Killian let out a loud yell of pain. He then used his left arm to activate the crystal on his chest and vanished.

Everyone looked over at the Dazzlings with surprise. The Dazzlings looked back at everyone with confusion.

“What?” Adagio asked.

“You…saved me.” Rainbow Dash said.

“And you’re welcome.” Aria said.

Sonata Stepped forward. “It’s like I told Princess Twilight. We really are trying to do better. We have our powers back, and we will use them for good.”

Rainbow Dash ran up and hugged all three of the Dazzlings at once. “I don’t think I can ever repay you!”

Adagio slowly backed out of the hug. “You can thank us later.”

Twilight picked up the ax. “Hm, this looks interesting. I’ll have to bring it back to my lab.”

“Um, what about the arm?” Timber asked he pointed down at it.

“As gross as it is, we need to bring it with us too.” Twilight said. “It may give us some clue as to who this killer is.”
