Party Visitor & Hoof Grip Therapy: Day - ??
Previous ChapterNext ChapterLuna sat at the grand table in the Royal Castle🏰, a plate of fruits and pastries before her, but her mind was far from the sweet flavors of breakfast. She was lost in thought, the image of the peculiar colt's glowing eyes haunting her dreams. Finally, she decided she couldn't keep it to herself any longer. She cleared her throat and spoke softly, "Celestia, my dear sister, I had the most peculiar dream last night. A young colt, shrouded in mist, called out to me..."
Celestia looked up from her newspaper, her expression one of curiosity. "What did he say, Luna?"
Luna paused, choosing her words carefully. "He called me pure. Can you imagine that?" She couldn't help but feel a blush spread across her cheeks. "After all we've been through, all the darkness I've embraced in the past..."
Celestia set her paper down and gave Luna her full attention. "Perhaps," she began thoughtfully, "it's not about your past, but about the light you bring to others' futures. Your transformation and the way you've embraced your role as the protector of night has inspired many. It's possible that this colt represents a part of yourself you've yet to fully recognize."
They sat in silence for a moment, the clinking of silverware against porcelain the only sound in the vast dining hall. Luna picked at her food, deep in thought. "But why would he call me that?"
Celestia took a sip of her tea. "Dreams can be cryptic, Luna. Perhaps it's a reflection of how you've changed, or a glimpse of how others see you. Or perhaps it's a message from the stars themselves, guiding you to something new."
The two sisters finished their meal, the conversation lingering in the air like the scent of warm apple muffins. Luna decided to put the encounter aside for the time being, focusing on her duties and the upcoming events in Equestria.
As the days passed, Luna couldn't shake the feeling that the colt's visit was significant. During her nightly patrols, she watched over her subjects with a newfound vigilance, searching for any sign of the mysterious figure. Yet, each night ended with the same result—no sight of the glowing misty Pegasi Colt. 🌠
Her worries grew into obsession, and she began to scribble down every detail she could recall from the encounter. The midnight ink stained her moonlit parchments, documenting every whisper, every flutter of those ethereal wings. Her quill danced over the pages, capturing every nuance of the colt's expression, the tone of his voice, and the warmth that seemed to emanate from his very being, And his vivid appearance.
The words flowed from her like a river under the moon's soft glow, creating a tapestry of her thoughts and feelings. She wrote of her doubt and fear, the weight of her past casting shadows over her heart. Yet, amidst the darkness, there was a flicker of hope—a belief that this encounter could be a beacon of change, a bridge to a future she hadn't dared to imagine.
But as the days grew longer and her sleep more restless, she began to worry that the dream would slip away from her grasp, like sand slipping through her hooves. The vividness of his eyes, the sound of his voice, and the gentle touch of his aura—all began to fade into the mists of her memory.
It was then that she decided to seek the counsel of Twilight Sparkle, the most knowledgeable pony in all of Equestria when it came to the arcane arts. If anyone could help her decipher the meaning behind the dream, it would be her.
With the first light of dawn, Luna made her way to the Castle of Friendship. The 🏰 castle stood tall and proud, its spires reaching for the sky, a bastion of knowledge and harmony. As she approached, the guards nodded respectfully, recognizing the regal stance of the Night's guardian. She was greeted by Twilight herself, who looked surprised yet eager to hear what she said in her letter. ✉️
"Twilight," Luna began, her voice filled with urgency, "I had a dream, a vision of sorts, and I fear I might forget it if I don't understand its meaning. A young colt with eyes like stars and a message that has left me questioning my very essence."
Twilight's eyes lit up with interest. "Tell me everything, Luna," she urged, leading the way to her study, where books of ancient lore lined the shelves, and the scent of parchment and ink filled the air.
The two mares spent hours discussing the dream, Twilight scribbling notes and referencing dusty tomes that hadn't been touched in centuries. They spoke of prophecies and the whispers of the stars, of friendships that could transcend worlds and hearts that could conquer shadows. As the sun climbed higher in the sky, Luna felt a growing sense of unease. Was this just a figment of her overactive imagination, a desperate attempt to find meaning in her solitary existence?
But Twilight was insistent. "No, Luna," she said firmly, her horn glowing with the light of discovery. "This dream is too vivid, too... real. There's something more to it."
With renewed hope, Luna left the Castle of Friendship, her eyes scanning the skies for any sign of the colt with the starlit eyes.🌟 Yet, as the days stretched on, her hope began to waver. The dream felt like it was slipping away, becoming a distant memory rather than the life-altering encounter she had hoped for.
But as she returned to her chambers one night, exhausted from her patrols and her quest for understanding, she went to sleep not expecting to hear the sound of his faint giggle echoing through the Foggy Realm of Dreams. Her heart leaped, and she bolted towards the sound, her hooves barely touching the ✨️ Star Glitter floor. The laugh grew clearer as she approached her chamber of the Space, and she could feel the warmth of a friendly presence.
It was him, the colt from her dream, standing in the center of her room, surrounded by the twinkling lights of stars that danced around him. His eyes gleamed with mirth as he looked at her, and she realized he had the same aura of innocence and purity that she had seen before. "Hello, Luna," he chirped, his voice like the sound of chimes on a gentle night breeze. "It's lovely to see you again."
Her heart pounded in her chest, a mix of excitement and fear. She didn't know this young colt, yet he addressed her with such familiarity. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
He looked at her with a curious smile. "I a Wondering Traveler, who the ⭐️ Stars that shines through your shadows."
He began to play with the fog that filled her room, twirling it into the the Color of a Galaxy 🌌 of rainbow, which coiled around him playfully. The colors shimmered and blended together, creating a breathtaking dance of light that filled her heart with a sense of wonder. It was a stark contrast to the cold, lonely night she had come to expect in her waking world.
As she watched, she felt a sudden force, like a thick fog pressing against her, trying to push her away from the colt. 😶🌫️ She stumbled backward, her eyes wide with shock. "Please Don't go," he called out in a sad tone, reaching towards her with a hoof that glowed faintly. But the 🌫 fog grew stronger, swirling around her and blurring her vision until she could no longer see him.
With a gasp, Luna woke up in her own bed 🛏, her heart racing. The dream had been so real, so tangible, that she could almost feel the mist on her face. She sat up, panting, and looked around her room. It was empty, the stars outside her window shining their silent vigil over Equestria. But she couldn't shake the feeling that something important had just happened.
The next day, she sought out Twilight again, her eyes wide with excitement and a touch of desperation. "I saw him," she whispered, her voice filled with awe. "He was playing in the fields of Twinkling Stars ⭐️🌟✨️, and he called me by name."
Twilight looked at her, her expression serious. "Your dreams are becoming more intense, Luna. I'm starting to think my Theory was Correct and that being you encountered is definitely Real Creature and was not connected to the Prophet at all. But what i don't understand is why there was a Thick Fog preventing you for Interacting with him."
Luna nodded, her mane a mess from her crazy night. "What should we do?"
Twilight thought for a moment before speaking. "We need to find a way to bridge the gap between the worlds of dreams and the Dream Scape of Space then, Maybe once I help you bridge that gap. I think you can officially befriend without any interference when that time comes.
Every time she Encountered this mysterious enigmatic colt who called to her from the stars ⭐️, she will either talk to Twilight or Celestia from her experience. Sometimes she's able to talk to him for a little bit before getting thrown out or see him in the distance but couldn't reach him. Or just not see this peculiar colt for years or months. Luna Hoped that she will someday accidentally stumbled upon him in Real Life, to offer a Hoof of Friendship and maybe... maybe be there Mentor like how Celestia has her own Students... that would be nice.
[Back to the Current Time Period with Mellow]
Nurse Redheart, her heart swelling with relief, looked at the young colt lying on the hospital bed. Mellow Glow had finally opened her eyes after what felt like an eternity, and she knew that the time had come to introduce her to the world of solid food again. For days, the medical staff had nourished Mellow through a tube, carefully monitoring her every need as her body mended from the tragic carriage accident. The pegasus hybrid looked so frail, with her glowing skin almost transparent from the lack of sunlight, that the thought of her consuming actual food brought a smile to the nurse's lips.
Gently, Nurse Redheart approached the bedside, her hooves carrying a tray of colorful, carefully selected fruits and vegetables. "Mellow," she cooed softly, "how about we try something more substantial today?" Snookie, the intelligent Eclipses Spider, looked up from her corner, her four eyes reflecting the hopeful glow of the nurse.
Mellow, her voice weak but earnest, nodded her head. "Ok..." she murmured, her stomach growling in agreement. Snookie's legs danced in anticipation of seeing her friend regain her strength. The nurse picked out a few small pieces of fruit, their sweet scent filling the room. Carefully, she placed them in a dish next to the bed, ensuring that Mellow could see the vibrant colors and feel the comforting warmth of the sun-ripened food.
The colt's eyes lit up at the sight, and she reached out with her hooves, her movements tentative and unsteady. As she picked up a piece of apple, the fruit looked comically large in her hooves, but she took a bite, her teeth sinking into the crisp flesh with surprising ease. The juice dribbled down her chin, and she giggled, the sound like the first notes of a melody after a long silence.
The taste of the apple 🍏🍎 exploded in Mellow's mouth, the sweetness bringing a spark of life to her weary spirit. She chewed slowly, savoring each bite, while Nurse Redheart watched with a mix of pride and concern. The medical team had done their best to understand her unique anatomy, but until now, they had not been sure if she would be able to consume solid food without complications.
The room grew quiet, filled only with the sound of Mellow's contented munching and the soft whispers of the nurses discussing the progress outside. Snookie climbed up the bedpost, watching her friend with a protective gaze. Despite her size, she felt a profound sense of accomplishment—she had been there for Mellow through the worst of times, and now she was here to see her take the first steps back to health and recovery.
As Mellow took another bite, Nurse Redheart couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement. This was a milestone, a sign that the colt was truly on the mend. When the apple was getting smaller it became difficult for him to hold, since there's no mare soiled surface for him to balance the Fruit.
"After you're done with that apple, I'm going to try something new," she said, her voice as gentle as the morning dew. She grabbed a sandwich over to Mellow, the bread perfectly toasted and filled with fresh flowers and a hint of salad 🧂fried Leaves. "This sandwich is from the café across the street. It's a Ponyville special. I'll feed it to you, okay?"
Mellow nodded eagerly, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. Snookie, sensing the excitement, scurried closer, watching as the nurse carefully broke the sandwich into bite-sized pieces. With the grace of a ballerina, Nurse Redheart brought the first morsel to Mellow's lips. The young colt's eyes widened at the new flavor, and she chewed thoughtfully, savoring each bite. Snookie felt her own stomach rumble at the scent, but she knew better than to ask for a taste—she had her own food to worry about.
With each bite of the sandwich, Mellow's strength seemed to return. Her movements seems to get more energetic, and the color began to seep back into her skin. The spider felt a warmth spread through her body, a warmth that had nothing to do with the sun streaming through the hospital window.
Once the sandwich was gone, Mellow lay back against the pillows, a content sigh escaping her lips. "Thank you, Nurse Redheart," she murmured, her eyes drooping with exhaustion. "And thank you, Snookie, for staying with me."
The spider chirped happily, her legs twitching in delight. It had been a long road, but she knew that her friend was going to be okay. As the nurse began to clean up the remnants of the meal, Snookie curled up in the crook of Mellow's neck, her eight legs wrapping around the colt's neck like a warm, fuzzy scarf. The bond between them was palpable, a silent testament to the power of friendship and love in the face of adversity. 💖
Mellow's eyes fluttered closed, her breathing grew steady, and soon she was lost in the welcoming embrace of sleep. Nurse Redheart watched over them for a moment, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. Then, with a final pat on the spider's head, she slipped out of the room, leaving the two of them to rest in peace.
The hospital corridor was a bustle of activity, but she couldn't shake the feeling of contentment that Mellow's recovery brought her. As she returned to her duties.
Nurse Redheart walked back to the office, where the other medical professionals looked up from their charts and potions, their expressions a mix of curiosity and concern. "How is the little colt?" asked a young doctor, his unicorn horn flickering with magic.
"Much better," she replied with a warm smile. "She managed to eat an apple and a sandwich, which is quite an achievement given her condition." The others nodded, their expressions softening. "We'll need to start her on hooves grip therapy soon," she added, glancing at the clock. "But for now, let's let her rest. She's had a rough few days."
The nurses and doctors murmured in agreement, returning to their work with renewed enthusiasm. They knew the importance of rest in the healing process, especially for a creature as unique as Mellow.
Later in the afternoon, as the sun painted the horizon in shades of pink and gold, Nurse Redheart returned to Mellow's room. She found her still fast asleep, Snookie curled up by her side, her legs twitching slightly as if dreaming of adventures to come. With a gentle touch, she nudged the spider, who opened all four of her eyes sleepily. "It's time for our little friend to wake up," she whispered. "We have a special guest coming for her therapy session."
Snookie chirped softly in acknowledgment, and together they gently roused Mellow from her slumber. The young colt blinked sleepily before sitting up with a yawn, stretching het wings. The sight of Nursery Rhyme waiting by the window brought a smile to her face, and she eagerly swung her legs over the side of the bed.
The earth pony nurse walked in, a warm smile spreading across her face. "Ready to get those hooves in shape?" she asked, holding up a set of custom-made grips and weights designed just for Mellow. "We'll start slow and work our way up, okay?"
Mellow nodded, determination in her eyes, as she tentatively reached out to grasp one of the grips. It was awkward at first, her hooves slipping on the smooth wood 🪵, but with each attempt, she grew more sure of herself. Snookie watched from the bedside, her legs tapping out a rhythm of encouragement, as Mellow began to get the hang of it, her muscles working in ways they never had before.
The therapy session went on for hours, with Nursery Rhyme's gentle guidance and Snookie's unwavering support. The room was filled with laughter and the occasional grunt of effort, the sound of hooves meeting wood echoing through the quiet ward.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the room in a soft, warm glow, Mellow finally tired, her hooves shaking with fatigue. "That's enough for today," Nursery Rhyme said, patting her on the back. "You've done splendidly. With practice, you'll be gripping like a champ in no time."
Mellow beamed with pride, leaning back against the pillows with a sigh of relief. She looked over at Snookie, who was watching her with a proud gleam in her eyes. "Thanks," she murmured. "Couldn't have done it without you."
The spider chirped back, and together, the two of them curled up under the covers, the day's hard work forgotten in the comfort of their shared warmth and companionship. As the hospital grew quiet, the only sounds were the occasional snores from other patients and the soft whispers of the night nurses.
[Next Morning 🌄]
The day rolled on, and the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting the hospital in a soft, warm glow. It was time for Mellow's next step in her recovery—hoof grip therapy. Nurse Redheart made her way back to the room, a gentle knock on the door.
Nurse Redheart gently woke up Mellow her eyes stirred and blinked a few times before it’s fully opened. "Is it time already?" she asked sleepily, Snookie stretching out beside her.
"Afraid so," Nurse Redheart said with a warm smile. "Nursery Rhyme is waiting for you. She's going to help you get used to your hooves again."
The colt's face lit up at the mention of her friend. "Really to go Snookie?"
The spider chirped in agreement, eager to encourage and participate to help her friend to recover. "Well... today is gonna be a little different today," the nurse said. "She'll have to stay on the sidelines for today."
Mellow sat up with a yawn, her wings fluttering. "Oof! Well Ok than, I'm curious how different it would be than." she calmly get out of her bed determinant glinting in her eyes.
Nurse Redheart led them to the therapy room, where Nursery Rhyme was waiting with new variety of objects to practice with. "Hi, Mellow!" she greeted with a smile. "Let's get those hooves working! And to test something new!" ◻️💠🔴🟧🔷️🔲
Mellow nodded, and with a deep breath, she reached for the first object—a simple wooden block with 1 Gaint hole in the middle. Her hooves closed around it and noticed how difficult it is, as she tried to lifted it into the air. It wobbled for a lot, but she tried to held it firmly, and than it fall Down on the Floor...
"Don't worry, it's all part of the process," Nursery Rhyme said encouragingly, her eyes sparkling with optimism. She picked up another object, this one a metal loop with a handle that looked like it belonged on a barbell. "Let's try this one," she suggested, placing it in front of Mellow.
Mellow looked at the loop with determination, her grip tightening as she attempted to lift it. The weight was surprising, but she felt a sense of satisfaction as she managed to hoist it slightly off the ground. "Good job!" Snookie chirped, her legs moving in an excited little dance.
They continued through a series of objects, each one offering a new challenge. There were foam balls of various sizes, a rope with knots she had to untangle, and even a small wooden mallet and anvil setup to test her precision and strength. With each attempt, Mellow grew more accustomed to the feel of the objects in her hooves, her confidence growing with each successful grip.
But it wasn't all smooth sailing. There were moments when her hooves would slip, or the weight would be too much, and she'd collapse in a heap of frustration. Each time, Nursery Rhyme was there to help her up, her voice filled with patience and encouragement. "It's okay, Mellow," she'd say. "You're doing great. Remember, it's about progress, not perfection."
After a few hours of intense therapy, Mellow's hooves were sore and tired, but she could feel the difference. She picked up a small rubber ball and tossed it into the air, catching it without dropping it. "Look at you go!" Nursery Rhyme exclaimed, clapping her hooves.
Mellow looked down at her hooves, then back up at her friend with a tired smile. "Thanks to you, Nursery Rhyme," she said gratefully. "I have no Idea 💡 how your able to be Patient with me."
The earth pony nurse nodded, her eyes misting over slightly. "You're welcome, Mellow. It's an honor to help you so don't worry, Plus as a Friend and a Nurse, it's my duty to try and help you get better despite your frustrations." She cheerily said.
And than suddenly, a gentle bell rang through the halls of the Hospital, indicating the end of the therapy session. Snookie, who had been waiting patiently outside, was allowed to join them again. She scurried into the room, her legs moving at the speed of light.
Nurse Redheart's smile grew wider as she announced, "And now, I have a surprise for you both! You have a special guest waiting in the visitor's lounge." Mellow's eyes lit up with curiosity, and even Snookie perked up at the mention of company while Nursery Rhyme seems to know who it is.
The door to the therapy room swung open with a burst of energy, and in bounded Pinkie Pie, the Element of Laughter, her pink hair bouncing with every step. "Surprise!" she exclaimed, a platter of snacks floating behind her like a culinary magic trick. "I brought a bunch of flavorful salty and sweet treats and the glazed sugar grubs for Snookie!"
Mellow's eyes widened in amazement, never have met an energetic creature before. She only seen episodes of Pinkie Pie throwing cool party but never thought she could experience in person. The smell of fresh baked goods filled the air, making her mouth water. Pinkie Pie noticed her curiosity and winked. "Don't worry, Mellow, I've got something extra special for you, too!" She revealed a tray of different types of colorful cookies that looked like it just came out freshly from the Oven. "These are my famous Chocolate Chips Cotton Candy Cookies! They're filled with happiness and joy!"
Did she say Cotton Candy Cookies??? That means this Pinkie Pie is from the Human World!!! Mellow thought remembering that one episode in Equestria Girls: The Art of Cookies.
Nursery Rhyme chuckled at Pinkie's enthusiasm and began to set up a few board games on a nearby table. "Mellow, have you ever played 'Buckaroo Bronco'?" she asked, spreading out the pieces. "It's a classic Equestrian game, and I promise it'll be a hoot!"
Mellow, still in awe of Pinkie Pie, shook her head. "No, I haven't," she replied, her voice filled with excitement. "But I'm willing to try anything!"
The party had begun, with each laugh and chirp of excitement from Snookie. As the 4 of them played and munched on snacks, Mellow was really enjoying herself despite how tired her Hooves are. Between bites of cookie and sips of punch, Pinkie Pie began to explain the rules of 'Buckaroo Bronco'. It was a game of balance and strategy, and Mellow was surprisingly good at it. Snookie watched with fascination, her legs tapping along to the beat of their laughter.
"Now, the goal is to place these pieces on the bronco without making him buck!" Pinkie explained, placing a small wooden horse piece on the board. "But watch out for those pesky snakes and scorpions!"
Mellow nodded, taking a deep breath before placing a piece with surprising grace. The game grew more challenging with each turn, the stakes rising as the bronco began to wobble precariously.
"You're a natural!" Pinkie exclaimed as the room grew quiet, all eyes on the board. "But now, let's switch gears!"
Her smile grew even wider as she pulled out a set of hooves-friendly board games from a magical bag that seemed to hold an impossible amount of items. "These are perfect for practicing your grip without tiring you out," she said, spreading out a game called 'Hoof-a-Palooza'. It was a colorful board with various objects and obstacles designed to be picked up by hooves.
Mellow's eyes lit up as she recognized the game from a few episodes in the show, she saw some backgrounds characters playing it but never new what it was. With a sense of excitement, she reached for the pieces, her mind racing with strategies she had seen the ponies use in the show.
The group settled into the game, their laughter echoing through the halls of the hospital. Even though it was designed for hooves, Snookie managed to get involved by using her spinnerets to flick the pieces with surprising precision. The spider's competitive spirit was contagious, and soon everyone was cheering her on as she managed to clear a path through the game.
Nurse Redheart peeked in from the hallway, her heart swelling with joy at the sight of her patient's recovery. The warmth in the room was palpable, a stark contrast to the boring, calm environment that usually dominated the hospital. 🎊🎉
As they played, Pinkie Pie shared stories of her own adventures, filling Mellow's mind with wonder. She already new some of it but some of the adventures she had never showed up in the episodes with her friends, Snookie listened intently, her eyes wide with excitement, occasionally chiming in with a chirp or a giggle.
The hours slipped by unnoticed as they played, the friends growing closer with each passing moment. When it was time for Pinkie to leave, "Remember, Mellow," she said, placing a gentle hoof on her shoulder, "You've got this! You're already making amazing progress!"
Mellow watched as Pinkie bounced out of the room, her energy never waning. She turned to Nursery Rhyme with a smile. "Thank you so much for today," she said. "It was so much fun."
The earth pony nurse nodded, her eyes filled with pride. "You're welcome. Just keep up with your therapy, and you'll be out of here in no time. Now, let's get you back to your room so you can rest up for tomorrows usual schedule ok."
With Snookie riding on her mane, Mellow limped down the hall, her hooves still sore but her spirits lifted. As they entered her room, she couldn't help but feel a rush of adrenaline today.
Nursery Rhyme helped her into bed, tucking her in tight. "Get some rest," she whispered. "We'll have some more fun in the future, I promise."
Mellow closed her eyes, her mind racing with the possibilities. As the darkness claimed her, she felt the warmth of Snookie's legs wrapped around her neck, the spider's gentle chirps lulling her to sleep...
