It had been about a few days since that incident with Sunset, and Amadeus had been worried about her for a while. Though Sunset reassured him that she’ll be alright, he couldn’t help but worry.

That’s when both of them heard their phones going off, taking them by surprise, making them look at one another, then to their phones. They each sat up at the same time and picked them up.

“Hello?” the both of them said at the same time. “Yes? Yes. What?! But it’s my…!! Are you sure? Ugh, fine, I’ll be there.”

They both hung up, causing them to groan loudly at the same time.

Amadeus looked at Sunset and asked, “Let me guess, one of the employees called in sick and they need you to cover her shift at the sushi place?”

“Unfortunately, so, you?” asked Sunset.

“Botched up an order of their last shipment, so I gotta help sort out the stock and make sure they’re correct.”

Amadeus works at an engineering shop in the summer, but every now and then he works at ‘entertainment emporium’, where they sell CD’s, DVD’s, and console games, even gaming consoles and computers. When he last worked there, he did such a good job, he was able to get a discount, as well as free computer, laptop, and gaming console before they were sold onto the shelves. He gave them to Sunset for her birthday, which she got overexcited and kissed him full on the lips.

“I don’t believe this,” said Amadeus, “I was looking forward to this day being off. And I wanted to see if we could go to a diner for breakfast.”

“You really like eating out for breakfast, don’t you?” asked Sunset.

“Well, I only do it every two weeks, makes it special.” Said Amadeus, “And they make the best early bird breakfast.”

Amadeus teased and said, “And don’t deny you don’t like it either. Because I saw the way you enjoy Mrs. Flapjack’s pancakes because of their fluffiness. That and you get a free breakfast.”

Sunset giggled at that jab and said, “Yeah, not gonna complain there.”

The two of them got up to take their showers and then get dressed. Once they were done, both of them were wearing different uniforms. Sunset wearing her uniform at the sushi place and Amadeus wearing his ‘entertainment emporium’ uniform. The two of them walked over to the car, whilst Amadeus looked at her with a smirk. This caught the said girl’s attention.

“What?” asked Sunset.

“Still can’t help find you adorable wearing that uniform,” said Amadeus, “Especially the way you’re wearing your hair. And the shoes Rainbow gave you a while back works wonders.”

Sunset couldn’t help but blush and nudge him whilst saying, “Shut up.” Before giggling at the same time.

The two of them climbed inside, with Amadeus saying, “Good thing the place we work at is in the mall.”

“Sure is.” Said Sunset, “Good thing the shift we’re working on ends about an hour before lunch time.”

“The sooner we get moving, the better.” Said Amadeus.

“Agreed.” Said Sunset, allowing Amadeus to drive the both of them straight towards the mall.

It had been about five hours since they arrived at the store, and both Sunset and Amadeus are working in their respective jobs.

Amadeus was going over the stocks by making sure everything is on the list, everything that’s not supposed to be on the list, and the ones that they sent extra.

“Hmm,” pondered Amadeus as he went over the checklist. “If this goes there, then this goes there.”

“Amadeus.”

Amadeus lifted his head and looked at his manager, Mr. Bookings, who approached him to see what he was doing.

“How are things going?” asked the boss.

“Finished going over the stocks sir, see for yourself.” Said Amadeus as he handed in the checklist.

“Hmm, I see.” Said Bookings. He looked at the boxes and said, “I see you also sorted them out.”

“Yes sir.” Said Amadeus as he pointed at the box. “The first box is the supplies that we ordered, the second is the one that we need to immediately put on stock on the shelves, the third are extra ones that they sent by mistake, and the fourth box are those that we didn’t order, considering the cost it would bring to the shop. I already called our suppliers and they realized they made a mistake, so they’re going to send people over and send some compensation money as an apology on their part.”

“Do you have the invoices?”

“Right here.” Said Amadeus as he handed him the papers.

“Alright then, I’ll go ahead and call them.” Said Mr. Bookings. “Thank you again for your help, Amadeus.”

“Least I can do sir.” Said Amadeus, “I mean I bought most of my stuff here since I was little. Wouldn’t want my favorite store to go to waste.”

The manager chuckled at that, “I appreciate your support.”

Amadeus soon packed up his things and left. As he carried his backpack, he heard his phone going off. He picked it up and sees it was Sunset calling him. Was she on break? He picked up the phone and answered it.

“Hey Sunset.” Said Amadeus when he answered the phone. “Yeah I just finished. Turns out it wasn’t that big of a hassle. When are you clocking out? Half an hour? Alright, anything I should make for dinner tonight? Burgers? But didn’t you…Oh, alright, alright, I’ll do it. But you owe me one.”

Suddenly, his face went a bit red, causing him to clear his throat.

“Uh, no comment. Alright, I’ll see you in a bit.” Said Amadeus before hanging up. He sighed and said to himself, “Why didn’t the two of us take the next step in our relationship?”

He walked to a grocery section of the mall to pick up his groceries.

Half an hour later, he arrived home safely and placed the groceries onto the table. He looked over the ingredients and smiled to himself.

“Now this is what I’m talking about.” Said Amadeus, “Now all I have to do is to…”

He heard a knock on the door, gaining his attention. Curious, he walked over to it and opened it. To his surprise, it was Sunset. But in her Friendship Power form.

“Wait, you used your power to travel here?” asked Amadeus.

“Not really,” said Sunset sheepishly, “Before I could clock out, Equestrian Magic got involved near the sushi place.”

“Let me guess, you got attacked by a sushi monster?” guessed Amadeus. However, the look on Sunset’s face says it all. Amadeus groaned at that and said, “Of course.”

“But thankfully, we didn’t make a mess of it.” Said Sunset, “And the manager thanked me by giving me a raise.”

Amadeus raised his eyebrow at that. “I would’ve thought he’d make you assistant manager?”

“No,” chuckled Sunset, “I don’t have that much manager skills.”

“Fair enough.” Said Amadeus, “Come inside, I got the ingredients, and we’ll be eating well tonight.”

“Can’t wait.” Said Sunset.

Suddenly, Amadeus had a worried look on his face. “You didn’t use too much power fighting it, did you?”

“Don’t be silly, I didn’t…” said Sunset before she powered down. However, the look on her face says otherwise. She had a very tired look on her face and barely able to stay awake. She even still wore her uniform. “Oh…wait…I…”

Sunset fainted onto Amadeus, allowing her to catch her. He deadpanned at that.

“Yep, she used too much magic.” Said Amadeus.

He then realized Sunset’s skirt was up, and that he was holding onto her posterior, making him blush.

“Maybe I should take her inside before folks see me.” Said Amadeus, before carrying her in and took her to the living room.

After taking Sunset inside, he gently placed her onto the couch. Though to make it look like she was sleeping, he places her elbows onto the couch whilst her head was leaning backwards. To make sure no one was looking, he had to make sure all the curtains and blinds were closed, so no one has any funny ideas.

“There, that should do it.” Said Amadeus. He looked at Sunset for a bit and shakes his head. “Honestly, and I thought her anger issues had always been a problem, now she uses too much magic that makes her pass out. At least her friends remember.”

He then realized that she was still wearing her uniform. He groaned and slapped his forehead.

“And she didn’t even bother to get dressed before fighting a magic?” said Amadeus to himself. It then clicked to him, making him say, “No, the both of us didn’t bring any clothes.”

He looked at her again, then around the room.

“Well, the blinds and everything are closed, and she’ll wake up in about four hours.” Said Amadeus whilst looking at his watch. “Might as well help her change. But before that, she needs to…”

That’s when he realized…he’d be changing Sunset’s clothing, making him blush madly. He looked at her and said, “This…is going to be awkward.”

After an hour, Amadeus had helped wash every part of her body, whilst also having to control his urges at the same time. But once he completely dried her off, as well as properly dried and comb her hair thanks to Rarity’s lessons, he took her back to the couch again. He walked to her room and got out her clothes. He took another look at them. An orange tube top, a cyan skirt, a studded leather vest, black boots, and a black belt. He couldn’t help but chuckle.

“To think she chose to wear these to show she’s a different person.” Said Amadeus whilst walking back. “Truth be told her old outfit during her bullying days were kind of hot, same with the one she wore during the Friendship Games. But I prefer this one more. It speaks as the real her more often.”

He walked over to the still nude Sunset Shimmer. Slowly but surely, he was able to help her get dressed. However, before he placed her shirt over her chest, he had to try to strap her bra around her. And before he had to put on her shoes, he needed to put her undies on.

Amadeus looked at her chest and realized how…amazing they looked. So, this is what some folks meant when they said she had a nice rack. Sunset didn’t know what it meant at first, but after explaining it for a bit, she partially understood, though she was confused by why it was popular to the male folk in this world.

An hour later, Amadeus had finished making the burgers and fries and slowly placed them onto the table. He looked at the time and realized she should be waking up at any moment.

“Then it’s a good thing I got dinner ready.” Said Amadeus, causing her to look at it.

“So, you did, and I am pretty hungry.” Said Sunset. But then she noticed she was wearing her clothes. “When did I change clothes.”

“I changed your clothes after I helped bathe you in your sleep.” Said Amadeus. Then he saw Sunset looking at him with a flustered look. “What, you smelled like fish! And I figured your fight made you fall into the sushi bar.”

“Ugh, don’t remind me.” Groaned Sunset, “I never expected to land in there. But…”

She suddenly wrapped her arms and said meekly, “Did you have to undress me?”

“Hey, I thought we were already used to seeing one another like that?” said Amadeus.

“We did, but…” said Sunset as she felt flustered, “I wanted to be awake for that.”

This surprised Amadeus and said, “Wow, never expected you to do that.”

“I…never brought it up.” Said a flustered Sunset. “Now…about that dinner.”

She walked over to the table and took a bite out of it, murmuring of how good it is, with Amadeus joining her.

‘He really takes good care of me,’ thought Sunset, ‘I should one day think of a way to return the favor.’

‘That was really an experience I’ll never forget.’ Thought Amadeus, “The next time it happens…I think I might wanna step up my game.'
