By the time most of the guests arrived for the Grand Galloping Gala, it was already nighttime. The royal guard was double checking every pony's tickets as rumors about ticket fraud had come in through an anonymous source. The Main Six were right beyond a black unicorn stallion.

"Don't recall any Black Unicorns in Canterlot..." Sunset noted.

"I don't exactly live in Canterlot." The Black Stallion responded as the royal guard checked over his ticket.

"Well, his ticket's legit. You don't seem like a pony either of the two alicorn sisters would invite though." The royal unicorn said.

"I've been invited to make sure this is a Grand Galloping Gala to remember; I'm quite the master at what I do." The Stallion said.

"...Well, at least this gala won't be as boring then." The royal guard said.

"Oh trust me, gentlemen, it won't." The stallion said. And as he entered the castle, he was making quite the eerie whistle.

"...That's a peculiar whistle..." Twilight said.

"...I have a bad feeling about that Stallion." Alli said.

Sometime later, the Grand Galloping Gala was in full swing. During the event, Rainbow Dash pulled Scootaloo off to the side.

"So, what's on your mind Rainbow?" Scootaloo asked.

"Not exactly sure where to start..." Rainbow Dash said. "See the thing is, my parents only told me about this just before I left cloudsdale to search for Fluttershy. Told me all about how I apparently, have this younger sister that I never got to meet at the time."

"What do you mean you never got to meet your younger sister?" Scootaloo asked.

"Way mom explained it, is that they were hoping of surprising me on one of my birthdays with the big reveal that I had a younger sister. But then, they ended up losing the baby during a trip to the cloudsdale mall. I've been in there once, place is huge. Never again." Rainbow Dash said.

"What does that have to do with me though?" Scootaloo asked.

"Mom said she only managed to take one photograph as proof the baby even existed, and gave it to me in hopes I would end up meeting her while I searched for Fluttershy." Rainbow Dash said. "Didn't think I'd actually encounter her in the same place as Fluttershy."

"Wait, who even is your younger sister?" Scootaloo asked.

"Do you want to see the picture I was given? It'll tell you pretty quickly." Rainbow Dash said.

"O-okay..." Scootaloo said, nervous. She took the picture Rainbow Dash offer, and to say she was shocked, was an understatement.

There, in the photograph, was what was obviously a baby version of Scootaloo. "Now do you understand why I felt it was important to save this info for an event like this?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"But...why wait until now to tell me?" Scootaloo asked.

"In my eyes, something as big of a bombshell as this, deserves to be saved for a special occasion." Rainbow Dash said. "The dominos just so happened to have lined up in just the right way for this to be the special occasion."

"...Yeah that does sound logical..." Scootaloo said. "But...the ponies who have been fostering me..."

"You don't need to turn your back on them kiddo. If anything, I'd like to think they should meet with your biological parents at some point. Of course, I'll make sure both mom & dad understand, that you shouldn't be forced to make a choice between your foster parents, or your biological parents. If they even try well, my loyalty to you comes first." Rainbow Dash said.

"...How did I get so lucky to have a sister like you, Rainbow?" Scootaloo asked.

Before Rainbow Dash could answer, there were some announcements going on. "May I have your attention, please." Princess Celestia said. "While tonight is all about celebration; what with my sister's return and all; there are a couple of announcements that are to be made tonight. The first come straight from my sister, Princess Luna."

Princess Luna took the mic. "In an effort to make sure our shared rule is as equal as possible, a new flying team is being created from the ground up. So allow me to introduce to you the pony to who I have entrusted training this new flying team, Night Wing." The lunar princess said, and at that moment, a navy blue pegasus mare came up to Princess Luna.

"Hey, I recognize her; that's Night Wing. I hear she quit the Wonder bolt reserves after being passed over for promotion twice." Rainbow Dash whispered to Scootaloo.

"I, Night Wing, will ensure that the Shadow Bolts are as every bit as revered as the Wonder Bolts are. Make no mistake, all the Pegasi Luna scouted; and you know who you are as all of them have been invited to this event; will be put through their paces." Night Wing said.

"Thank you, sister; and thank you Night Wing as well." Celestia said. "Now, onto our second announcement. Please welcome the current leader of the Knight's Order, Captain Garrison."

The Seeq in question took to the mike. "Thank you, Princess Celestia." Garrison said. "My announcement will not be long. Tomorrow morning, there will be a sign-up sheet at several locations throughout Equestria. This is because the Knight's Order is doing a bit of a recruitment drive. The details as to why, is need to know."

"Thank you, Captain Garrison." Celestia said. Suddenly, a monitor came out of nowhere. "...Strange, I don't remember installing anything like that..." The sun princess said.

The moniter then showed the Black Unicorn Stallion from before. "Good evening, Canterlot. I hope you've been enjoying your Grand Galloping Gala. But, I'm afraid there are a few guests you forgot to invite..." The stallion said. Suddenly, a bunch of undead pony zombies burst through the doors. "Namely, these guests~"

"Undead? Here?!" Alli was shocked. "That's no Unicorn Stallion; that's..."

Before Alli could finished, the unicorn stallion suddenly morphed into a mysterious entity, but one that both Alli & Rainbow Dash recognized. "Oh you've got to be kidding me..." Rainbow Dash said.

"After all, who better to invite the undead then I; the evilest undead entity ever, and the master of darkness who aligns with no one." The mysterious entity said.

Alli clenched a fist. "...Gorzon..." She said simply, finishing her thought from before.
