Author's Note

As stated before, not every episode will focus on the ponies. After all, there is more to this story than the shenanigans the main six get up to. This time, it's the Digimon side of things.

Season 0: Episode 3 - Digital Side of things

Things open to a panning shot of various buildings. Were it not for all the varying digimon around with not a single pony in sight, one could've easily mistook these buildings for things ponies made.

"So did you hear about the boxing tournament happening tomorrow?" A digimon with boxing gloves asked another one; clearly there were conversations going on as the panning shot zoomed past them.

"Just set the table in the living room for now." A white cat digimon with yellow gloves was saying; the reciever of the message could not be seen quick enough before the camera panned past the house.

"We're expecting clear skies today here in Digital Capital with a chance at rain tomorrow morning." A forecast could be heard from an open window.

Finally, the camera soon focused on a large castle structure before panning down to the ground level of the castle. "Watch your tongue soilder; if Empress Alli heard you, who knows what she'd do to you." A similar digimon with boxing gloves was saying to an orange reptile looking digimon.

"Hey, last I checked, Alli prefers us to speak our mind wherever possible. And I'm just saying, she should stop visiting Equestria. It hasn't been the same since Princess Celestia banished her sister to the moon." The reptile digimon said.

"Ahem." A female voice caught the attention of both digimon; the owner was revealed to be Alli.

"E-empress Alli! I-I can explain..." The reptile digimon began.

"When will grunts like you learn that the situation is complicated?" Alli asked, but did not wait for an answer before she continued. "Your too low on the totem pole for the details grunt; so stop thinking above your station."

"M-my apologies Empress Alli; it won't happen again, I swear!" The reptile digimon said.

"Good. Because I'd hate to turn another grunt into a mindless slave for me to play with. Now back to work; both of you!" Ali said.

"YES MA'M!" The two digimon said and went back to guard duty as Ali entered the castle.

Alli smirked as she headed inside. How typical. The usual threat of being a mindless puppet always keeps the latest editions in line. As if I'd actually ever use Cat's Eye Hypno on unwilling subjects. She thought to herself. But the threat is enough to keep the newbies from stepping out of line too far.

"Ah Empress Alli; it's great to see you again." One of the digimon on the ground floor said. "Are you going up to your throne room?"

"Where else would I be going?" Alli asked and entered an elevator.

"You should know, that Shallor is paying a visit to your advisor right now..." The digimon said; it was a very large cactus digimon.

"Wonder what Shallor wants with Lars." Alli said before she hit a button to go to her throne room.

One elevator ride later, and Ali was at her throne room where Shallor was talking with a pig-like Digimon similar to the Shadow Lord in shape, but clearly not the same Digimon.

"Well, it's great to know things are going great here. Oh, and speaking of Ali." Shallor said, just as he noticed Ali come in.

"E-empress Alli, your back so soon?" The other pig-like digimon; who was most likely Lars based on Ali's interaction with the cactus digimon; said.

"Of course." Alli then looked at Shallor. "What business do you have with Lars?"

"Hey, I may be the Shadow Lord, but even I need a day off here and there." Shallor said. "Not every apperence of mine has to be business."

"With you, I expect business." Alli said.

"Gee, you picked that up from Rob didn't you?" Shallor asked. "Well, you can relax; I've already got my attention pre-occupied with something that's more of a long-term project."

"What are you up to this time? This another one of your Shadow Guardian Scounting missions?" Alli asked.

"In a way." Shallor said. "But I don't need to bore you with the details. You have a kindgom to run." He added before he vanished in a puff of purple smoke.

"He's up to something; I just can't tell what it is just yet." Alli said.

"Relax Empress; whatever the Shadow Lord is up to, it's obviously got to be big or else he wouldn't be so secretive." Lars said.

"That's what worries me. I just hope it has nothing to do with the return of Lulu." Alli said.

"Speaking of Princess Luna, do you trust Princess Celestia's plan on making her not be Nightmare Moon?" Lars asked.

"If there's one thing I've learnt not to underestimate Tia on, it's her long-term plans. She's certain that Sunset Shimmer is capable of wielding that element." Alli said.

"Ah. That new one that appeared after Celestia saw no other choice but to use the elements of harmony to banish her sister to the moon is the one your talking about, yes?" Lars asked.

"See, this is why you're my advisor, Lars." Alli said, using a paw to rub under Lars's chin.

Lars smiled in bliss as she did so. "Do you...want to take this conversation behind closed doors, Empress?~" Lars asked, a sense of flirtatiousness in his statement.

"You really know how to spoil me huh?" Alli asked. "Yeah, I guess I could go for that."

Lars smiled as he followed his empress into the bedroom. It's no secret that there is a romance between Lars and the Empress; it's the wost kept secret in the Digital Capital.

What many don't know, is that Lars also has a huge hypnosis fetish, and often willingly lets himself get hypnotized by Alli before the two get very passionate with one another.

And today, that was going to be no different~
