G5 Adventures in The Bad Guys

The Unity Quest with the Bad Guys was finally over, and the Mane 6, Allura and Twitch were free to return to Equestria and tell Spike and the other dragons about their adventure…

…and how big a help that Allura and Twitch were to the success of the mission.

But the important thing was one final question… would the dragons believe the story for themselves?

“Whoa whoa whoa, hold on a sec,” Blaize Skysong lifted a paw to stop the ponies and their story as they were reaching the end. “So… Allura and Twitch decided to face that Dark Dragon in order to protect you guys and your friends while you rescued Snake from the guinea pig?”

“Is that true?” Leaf looked toward Allura and Twitch, who nodded. “Then… maybe we judged you a little too harshly.”

Allura blinked at this. “You mean that?”

“Sure we do,” Lava said with a smile. “We’re sorry if we never gave you a chance at the beginning. I guess we wanted to protect our friends, and… we really didn’t let you try to explain yourself freely.”

“As far as we’re concerned, Allura,” Luxxe said, “you’re always welcome in the Isle of Scaly, right, Dragon Lord?”

“Absolutely,” Spike nodded. “I know a thing or two about giving ponies a second chance, and I would love to do the same for you.”

“And no matter what,” Jade added, “we’re going to help you figure out how to get through to your brother… no matter how long it takes.”

Meanwhile, in an undisclosed location, Alterro was repeatedly watching Safira's defeat through a ball of fire, scoffing to himself as he made it disappear. “I can’t believe Safira failed… she has NEVER failed to accomplish a task, not even with the death of her own sisters.”

Alterro sighed to himself before regaining his composure, turning to look at the starry sky above him. “No matter… I’ll be sure to send a villain so powerful next time, not even those ponies and my sister will be able to stop it. Just five more pieces of the map to Skyros to go… and then… Equestria will belong to ME.”
