Chapters A Falling Star in Ponyville
After a while, the doctor came in to run some additional tests. Rarity, Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash left to go back to their own houses, after promising to visit Falling Star the next day. All through the night, Falling Star had nightmares. More than once, he awoke screaming in terror as the nightmares grew progressively more fear inducing. Luckily, he had a private room in the Hospital.

In the morning, Applejack came to visit along with Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash. Rarity, it turns out, was working on a secret fashion project and would visit later.

At that moment, Doctor Stable trotted in to release Falling Star from the hospital.

After following Fluttershy for what seemed like hours, the group came to a stop in a clearing. "Will this work, Star?" Asked Fluttershy.

The mares all gasped in unison. Surely this must be some kind of joke. But no, the proof was there for them to see.
A Falling Star in Ponyville
It took a few minutes for Falling Stars revelation to truely sink into their minds, but when it did, a tidal wave of questions surged from their mouths.

Upon hearing this, the mares quickly became very quiet, even Pinkie Pie was listening. "You have never heard of me because I'm rather young and even Celestia and Luna don't know I'm alive. I can't remember where I have been. In fact, I can't remember anything from my past except my name, the fact that I am an alicorn and am related to the princesses, and the spell I used to reveal my horn. As for my secrecy, as i said before, I don't remember. I also wouldn't lie to all of you, who have treated me with such kindness and generosity."

That evening, Falling Star began to worry about where he would stay, since he didn't have a home yet. As he wondered around town looking for a place to build his home, he noticed an interesting building with the lights still on and wandered over to knock on the door. When he knocked on the door, he heard a familiar voice call "coming". The door suddenly opened and Rarity stood on the other side.

Rarity smiled in silent excitment. Here, in HER Boutique, was the Prince of all Equestria complimenting her hard work on his outfit. She loved that he was so happy with her work. It filled her with a feeling she had never known before. She looked at him and smiled even wider. Falling Star was a Gentleman, so modest even though he was royalty. He was a little shy at times, though that didn't really bother her. It didn't hurt that he was also physically attractive, either.

"I better go," he suddenly said "I still have to find somewhere to build my home."

After a few more minutes of chatting, the two of them yawned and decided to head of to bed. Rarity lead the way upstairs and showed him where everything was. Finally they stopped outside a rather plain door.

Time in Ponyville: Revelation
A few months after he crashed in Ponyville, Falling Star, with the help of Big Macintosh, Caramel, and a few other stallions, managed to get his house built and was able to move in. It was a simple yet elegant house, as should be expected when Rarity was involved in the design making. As he wandered through his new home, he thought about all the stuff that had happened in the past few months and it made him smile. Almost all of his friends were in a relationship of some kind. Twilight was getting married to Big Macintosh, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were in a budding relationship together, and Applejack had married Caramel. Seeing them all so happy made him happy. He, on the other hoof, was still trying to work up enough nerve to ask out his crush, Rarity.

As the time for the meeting drew closer, Star began to walk down to the meeting place. He took his time, knowing the Mayor would be giving a speech before allowing him to speak. As he walked, he saw his friends waiting for him and waved. A smile spread across all of their faces as they ran over to meet him.

Star and his friends arrvied at the meeting just in time. The Mayor had just finished her speech and was waiting to introduce Star to everypony. Star flew up onto the stage as his friends took their places in the crowd. His nerves started coming back, but then he noticed one of the mares wasn't in the crowd. As soon as he saw that, he felt a nudge on his side, and he looked over to see Rarity by his side. This both surprised him and calmed him down. They smiled at each other for a moment. Then, Star gave his speech.

"Thank you all for coming today. I don't know half of you half as well as I would like. I do know a few of you though. To the rest of you, my name is Falling Star. To the eye, I am a Pegasus. But, looks can be deceiving. I am not a Pegasus...." He paused to cast the spell that would allow everypony to see his horn. He heard a massive collection of gasps as the crowd saw what he truely was. "I am an Alicorn, like Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. As an Alicorn, I am related to the princesses and am the prince of equestria. I don't want to be treated any differently than I was before you knew, though. I am still the same stallion as before. I want to earn your respect and trust, not demand it. I may be royalty, but I'm not afraid to do hard work or get dirty. I just thought you should all know the truth about what I am. If you hate me, I understand. But, I have grown attached to Ponyville and I plan on staying here for a long time. Thank you all again for listening."

As Star began turning to walk off the stage, he heard someone start stomping their hooves. Soon, the whole crowd was stomping and applauding for Star. He looked back at the crowd and tears came to his eyes. He had feared that all the other ponies in Ponyville would hate him for hiding what he truely was, but it seems like his revelation just got them to like him and accept him. As he stood there, smiling with tears of joy running down his muzzle, his friends rushed up on the stage and gave him a big group hug. After everyone had calmed down, the crowd dispersed.

After the meeting and the revelation, Star and his friends had a little party at the library. Spike had returned for a couple of days from his journey across Equestria, just in time too.

Not two minutes after Spike sent the letter, there was a response. It simply read, "on our way". Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Twilight went over and opened the door, revealing the two princesses. As the others bowed to Celestia and Luna, Star stood straight and proud, finally allowing his regallity show, as he presented himself to the two. The three of them stood still for a few moments. Then, Celestia and Luna ran over to him and hugged Star. Tears streaked down all three alicorns muzzles as they hugged and everypony in the room started tearing up. "Why didn't you come to Canterlot, little brother?" The Princesses asked.

After explianing everything that had happened in the past few months and sharing many hugs, the princesses departed, but not before placing a crown on Falling Stars head.

Rarity turned toward Falling Star, with a puzzled look on her face. Star usually didn't talk to her unless the others were around. She had begun to think that the Alicorn stallion didn't really like her. Though it was a nice change, she still didn't expect him to do this. "What's on your mind, Star?" she asked.

As soon as he said all of this, he felt as if a great weight had been lifted from his shoulders. He only hoped he didn't make a fool of himself by being so blunt. Rarity just stared at him for a few moments. Then she leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. It was so nice that Star didn't want it to end. But then, Rarity pulled away and said "I have loved you from the moment I first laid eyes on you. You are a true gentleman, and you are so modest for royalty. You are a hard worker and you are so kind to everypony you meet. I would love to go to the Gala with you. But first, we need to get some rest and go on a couple of dates." Falling Star smiled and nodded.
A Falling Star in Ponyville
The morning after the meeting and his revelation of his love for Rarity, Falling Star was as happy as could be. He had great reasons for his happiness. Everypony seemed to have accepted him even after learning he was an alicorn and a prince, he had finally met his older sisters, and he had asked out the mare of his dreams. Not only had he asked her out, she had said YES! That memory made him so happy, he started bouncing around everywhere, just like Pinkie Pie. He stopped bouncing as he doubled over in laughter. He loved being in Ponyville and he wasn't going to leave. Star looked at the clock and realized that he needed to fly to Sweet Apple Acres to help Applejack and Big Mac with some applebucking, then he had magic practice with Twilight, and after that he had agreed to help Rainbow Dash work on some new moves. He had meant what he said to everypony yesterday about wanting to earn their respect. Star ran out the door and took flight, not even bothering to wear the crown that his sisters had given him. As he flew, he saw his friends, Fine Print and Slishy and waved. They waved back and Greeted him as he soared through the sky overhead.

Arriving at Sweet Apple Acres, he was surprised to see Rarity walking down the lane. "Rarity!" He called as he flew down to land beside her. Rarity looked up at him and smiled. "Hello, Falling Star. How are you doing on this gorgeous day?" She asked.

Racing as fast as his wings would allow, Star searched Sweet Apple Acres for Applejack. He finally found her deep in the southern orchard. He dove quickly and, just before hitting the ground, stopped near the orange mare. "Applejack!" he called. When she looked up, she smiled and trotted over to him. "What's up, Star?" she asked as they got closer. "Rarity wants to see you and the others at the library." Star said hurriedly.

Finding Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash was easier than Star expected. As it so happened, the two of them were already heading to the library to pick up some new books to read. As he flew towards them he slowed down and gave a little call, just loud enough for them to hear, but not so loud that it would scare Fluttershy. The two pegasi turned towards the sound and waved at him. Star flew past hem when he figured out they were going to the library, and headed for his house. Once there, he quickly placed his crown on top of his head, knowing that Rarity would get a kick out of his theatrics. Soon, he was airborne again and flying to the library, where Rarity was waiting for him.

As soon as everypony was at the library, Rarity walked over to stand next to Falling Star. "So why in tarnation did you want to see us Rarity?" Asked Applejack.

After letting this new information sink in, the other mares started congratulating the two of them on their new relationship and wished them luck with it. After a while everypony went their own ways, except the new couple. Star picked Rarity up and flew to the top of a hill so they could watch the sunset together. As the sun was setting and the happy couple cuddled together on the grass, they heard someponies approaching them. Standing up and making sure nothing was near Rarity, Falling Star stood Protectively in front of her. Suddenly, the ponies stopped and parted, allowing a mare to come into view. The mare had a Tan coat, a long Red and Black mane and tail, and a Triple sun cutie mark on her flank. The Mare took one hate-filled look at Rarity and than stared at Falling Star with a sad look on her face, as though she had expected him to know her.

"May we help you?" Rarity asked. The Mare shot a look of such extreme hatred at Rarity, that she became afraid. Seeing this, Falling Star took a step sideways to get in the way of the look, and Stared down the mysterious mare. Nopony treated HIS Rarity like that and he made sure the newcomers knew it. "Answer Raritys question Strangers," Star said with his regal voice "May we help you?"

"What was that all about, Star?" Rarity asked after a few minutes of silence.

Time in Ponyville: Guardians
As the night drew on, Falling Star escorted Rarity back to her Boutique. While they walked, Star listened as Rarity told him about herself. He listened to it all and memorized every little detail. It wasn't until they stopped that he noticed her staring at him with rapt attention. "I guess you want to know all about me too." He said. "Not really, I know everything I need to know about you. You're a hardworker, a loyal friend, a kindhearted stallion, a true prince of equestria, and you love me....." Was all she managed to say before he kissed her on the lips. What happened after was a blur in both of their memories, but somehow they managed to make the walk as far as Falling Stars house. The night seemed to drag on for an eternity, as though the Princesses knew what was happening and wanted the couple to enjoy each others company as long as possible.

When the first light of the next day found its way into the house, Falling star woke up to find Rarity curled under a blanket with him by the fireplace. He smiled and kissed her forehead before getting up and making her favorite breakfast. As he was cooking, he thought back on what had happened last night and smiled to himself. He and Rarity had just made into his home when they started kissing passonately. Before they had gotten to the bedroom, they stopped and talked, both of them agreeing that they were moving a little quickly. After all, they had only been dating for only a single day. In the end, they had grabbed a blanket and just cuddled by the fireplace until they fell asleep.

As Rarity walked into the kitchen, she paused to sniff the air. "What is that delightful scent?" She asked, coming over to Falling Star and kissing him on the cheek. "That delightful smell is breakfast on a Sunday morning." Star answered cheerfully, blushing .

After their breakfast, Raity and Falling Star walked around Ponyville and just enjoyed the day. Suddenly, Spike came running up to them with a sealed scroll in his hand. "Falling Star, you've got an important message from the princesses." The little dragon said as he got closer. Using magic, Star lifted the scroll from Spikes hand and opened it. Reading quickly, he soon finished the letter. "Rarity, go pack some things for a trip." "Why do I need to pack, Star?" Rarity asked, confused as to his sudden request. Star looked her in the eye and told her everything in the letter. "We have been summoned to Canterlot Castle, to have an audience with my sisters and for the official announcement of my Arrival. I'll go get the others, I need you to pack a few things, because you and I will be staying in Canterlot for a few days. Pack lightly"

Rarity ran off to pack her things and Falling Star made the usual rounds to gather their friends. Once he had gatered them all and explained what was happening, he raced off to his house and quickly packed his things. Once he was all packed up and ready, he made his way to Slishys house and asked him to watch his house for him. After much pleading, Slishy agreed to do so, and Star was off to the Train Station.

Upon arriving at the station, Falling Star was met by some of the Royal Guards. "Prince Falling Star, We have been given the honor of escorting you and your friends to Canterlot. My name is Bladed Hooves and I am the commanding officer in charge of your safety." Said the leader of the guards. "Nice to meet you Bladed." Star said as he waited for his friends to arrive. Soon, he saw them all coming. Rushing out to meet them, Star barely had time to register that the guards had placed themsleves in front of him. "What is the meaning of this, Bladed Hooves? Let me pass." He said sternly to the Guard. "I'm afraid I can't do that, sir. At least not until we check to make sure they aren't changelings in disguise." Said the soldier. "Allow me to do your job for you then." Star said angrily.

"Pinkie Pie, what was the first Question you asked me when I woke up in the hospital?" Star asked the Party pony. "I asked what your name was." She replied, then sneezed a bunch of confetti. "Correct"

As the train slowed to a stop in Canterlot, the group noticed the force field for the first time. "Shining Armor must be on duty." Twilight said to noone in particular. The group soon got off the train and headed straight for the Castle, where Celestia and Luna would be waiting with everypony to officialy Welcome Falling Star home and name him as prince. As they troted up the streets to the castle they began to feel restless and antsy. The only two that seemed unaffected were Twilight and Falling Star. Soon, the castle loomed in front of them. Falling Star stopped and stared at the sheer majesty of the place. The only place that even measured up to this palace was, in his opinion, Rarity's Boutique. Suddenly the doors oppened and the group was ushered inside.

"Welcome Falling Star, Brother, Master of the Stars, Prince of Equestria; and Welcome bearers of the Elements of Harmony." Said Celestia and Luna as they entered. Everypony in Canterlot was in attendance. The Homecoming of the Prince was not something to be missed. In the corner of the room stood Shining Armor with his wife, Princess Cadence. Both looked happy to see him, though they may have been looking at Twilight instead. "Have you anything to say, brother, at this time?" Asked Luna.
"In fact, I do. I thank you Sister Luna, Princess of Equestria, Lady of the Night and Sister Celestia, Princess of Equestria, and Lady of the Day, for your most gracious welcome. Citizens of Canterlot, My Name is Falling Star. I am Your Prince and Master of the Stars. I have seen many ponies, places and things in my travels. But none, not even the Glamour of this city, have ever held me in such rapture as Ponyville. It is there that I choose to live, not here in Canterlot. I choose to work hard and earn what I get with the sweat of my brow and by the strength of my back. As I have said, I have seen many ponies, but none, not even my sisters, who i pray will forgive me, will ever match the Beauty, Grace, and Generosity of the mare you see at my side," As he said this, he looked lovingly at Rarity and she knew instantly that he was speaking of her.

Everypony was quiet for a few moments. Then the gathered ponies bagan to stomp their feet in applause. They had expected as much from him and they gladly accepted his decision. Soon afterward, the gathered ponies left the castle, leaving Falling Star, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Twilight, Celestia, Luna, Shining Armor, and Cadence alone. After meeting Shining Armor and Cadence, the group started leaving. "Brother," called Celestia, "since you are royalty, I must insist that you have a unit of Royal Guards stationed near you, for your own protection."

Life in Ponyville: True Love
The sun was peeking in through the window and the smell of a freshly made breakfast was wafting up from the kitchen, when Falling Star awoke from his slumber. Wondering who was making breakfast, he trotted down from his study to the dining room. There he found the answer to his question. It was his Rarity. They had been dating for about six months now and they were still as in love with each other as they had been on the first day. Walking up behind her, Star put his hooves over her eyes and said "Guess who". "I guess my Star." "You guessed right."

After they had breakfast together, Rarity had to return to her boutique, as she was making new Gala dresses for the others and one for herself. She was already done making Stars outfit for the Gala, but she wouldn't let him see it yet. As she left, Falling Star saw the guards shoot her nasty looks. This made Star Extremely angry. To see others disrespect the Mare he loved, made him want to yell as loud as he could. "BLADED HOOVES, GET OVER HERE, NOW!" he yelled "AND BRING ALL OF YOUR MEN WITH YOU!"

The Guardians stood in shock as Falling Star scolded them for their actions towards Rarity. They had never thought that he would find out about it. Somehow though, he had, and he was angry. They didn't know what to say. "I SAID, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?" Star yelled again, and this time they answered. "SIR, YES, SIR. It will never happen again, your Majesty."

Star was still fuming when he got to the tree where he and Rarity had watched the sunset. Sitting down, he tried to get his anger under control. He didn't want to scare anypony with his behavior. He sat under the tree for hours on end, just thinking about Rarity. Eventually, he was able to calm down and just lie on the grass in the shade. He didn't know what to do anymore. Should he go see his other friends or visit Rarity in her Boutique. In the end, he decided to stay under the tree. Soon the sun started setting and he knew both Rarity and his Guards would be worried if he didn't show up soon. He didn't want to make Rarity worry about him.

As Star got up, he felt a presence behind him. He whirled around to find that it was Rarity. She was smiling at him and he couldn't help but smile back. He had a surprise in store for her later. Star trotted over to Rarity and kissed her on the lips. "I missed you, Rarity." He said with all his love in his voice. "I missed you too, Star. In fact, I have been looking for you all day, because I wanted to ask you something very important, away from all the guards and our friends."

Rarity looked at Falling Star and was confused by the look in his eyes. "What is it, my love? she asked.

For a few heartbreaking moments, Rarity was quiet. Falling Star began to wonder if he had made a mistake. As he looked away, he heard a small sniffle come from Rarity. He looked back at her and saw the tears in her eyes. She was crying and nodding her head. Finally, she managed to say one word. "Yes". Soon, Star was crying tears of joy as well. He had never been so happy. He was now engaged to his true love and he could see a bright future for the two of them.

From the shadows, a dark laugh echoed. Things have only just started getting fun.

A Ponyville Royal Wedding: Tragedy
The wedding was only a few weeks away and both Falling Star and Rarity were extremely busy with preperations. Rarity was busy with making the bridesmaids dresses and her own, while Falling Star was busy checking and aiding with the preperations. Though they were busy during the day, at night they would return to their house and spend time together. Granted most of the time they spent together, they were sleeping. But when ever they could, they would grab a blanket and cuddle in front of the fireplace, like they had after their first date. Both of them were as happy as could be, for they felt they had found their soul mates in each other. Every night, the two of them would come home tired and unkempt. They never got more than a few sentences into a conversation, usually about how much they loved each other, before they would both collapse from exhaustion. Then, in the morning, everything would begin again. This pattern continued up till the day before the wedding.

Though it seemed like an eternity later, the wedding preperations were complete. Falling Star couldn't thank his friends enough for their help in setting everything up. The Apple family had gladly offered to help with the cattering, which would include a vast amount of their famous apple cider, Fluttershy had generously offered for them to use the path at her cottage, since it had a natural opening and there would be room for everypony on the guest list. Pinkie Pie was putting together the reception, Rainbow Dash was going to do the triple sonic rainboom with a 360 degree counterclockwise spiral after he and Rarity had completed their vows, and naturally Twilight was making sure everything went perfectly. DJ Pon-3, aka Vinyl Scratch, would be providing the musical entertainment at the reception and Octavia would be playing the wedding processional. Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo were to be the flower fillies, and Derpy Hooves was helping with invitation delivery. Big Mac, Caramel, and Slishy helped set everything up in record time, and the Cakes were going to make their best creation ever. Everything would be perfect. So why did it feel like an something was wrong? Suddenly, Everypony heard a terrified scream. Looking around, nopony saw anypony being scared. That's when it hit Falling Star like a ton of bricks. The scream had come from Rarity's boutique. After looking at his friends, Star took flight and headed to the Boutique at his top speed, praying to Celestia and Luna that he wasn't too late.

Rarity was just about to put the finishing touches on her wedding. She had been working on it for days and she was sure that it was perfect. She was giddy with excitment and she couldn't stop giggling. Tomorrow was the day she had been waiting for. Everything was set up perfectly. Star had his tux and he was ready. His whole family would be in attendance and so would hers. She would be a true princess by the end of the day tomorrow. Nothing could ruin her good mood. She was getting married to her soul mate. Nothing could make her happier. She was so preoccupied with her dress and her happiness that she didn't even hear the crash as her door was broken down. It wasn't until it was too late, that Rarity screamed in terror. She wasn't sure that anypony had heard her, but she hoped Star did.

Flying as fast as he could, Falling Star made it to the Boutique soon after hearing Rarity scream. He looked at the broken door and it filled his heart with a fear unlike any other. Star raced into the Boutique, calling for Rarity. When he got to her room, he knew he was too late. Falling Star cried out in pain and sadness and sorrow and rage. He couldn't think straight, he couldn't breathe, and his heart had stopped beating in his chest. He was as a stone statue. But then, the floodgates burst and his tears flowed like the mighty rivers of the Everfree Forest. There, on the floor, in the only patch light, was the body of his beloved one, His Rarity, lying in a pool of crimson.

Falling Star used his magic to try to move the body, when suddenly it changed. That wasn't his Rarity, it was a changeling, and it was alive. Falling Star became filled with rage. The changelings were going to pay. But, his brain told him, the changlings aren't smart enough to think of something like this on their own. Somepony had thought up this plan for them. Somepony that loved chaos more than anything. "Discord...." was all Star said before pinning the changeling to the floor and forcing it to tell him everything it knew. After he learned everything from the changeling, he sent a signal to Bladed Hooves to come and take it to prison. Once Bladed Hooves had arrived and was dealing with the changeling, Falling Star flew to his home and went inside a secret room that even Rarity didn't know about. There, he conjured up a vision of the real Rarity and was relieved to see her unharmed, albiet in the darkness. But his relief didn't last long. Soon the Darkness was shattered by a piercing light, and two familiar laughs rang in the vision, Chrysalis and Discord. Then, he heard a new, unfamilier laugh, Darker than the others and filled with pure evil. He knew the owner of this new laugh meant to harm his Rarity.

Star ran out of his house and took to the skies, only to be blocked by Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. "Move." He said to them. The two of them grabbed Star and brought him down to the ground where the others were waiting. "What's going on, Star? What Happened?" Twilight asked him as he started breaking down again.

A Ponyville Royal Wedding: Unexpected Allies
It wasn't long before Falling Star and his friends found the trail that was left behind, as Rarity had fought till she couldn't fight anymore. Following the trail was hard work for the mares, but Falling Star had done some tracking in his time and was leading them without fail. He knew that the ones who had taken Rarity were expecting him to follow the trail, no doubt into a trap, but he was careful. Star made sure the mares were off to the side of the trail, close enough to see, but not get caught in a trap. The thought of what Chrysalis, Discord, and their Master could be doing to his Rarity filled Star with rage, even though on the outside he looked miserable. He knew his guards would be frantic by now, searching for him everywhere, but he didn't care about that now. He cared about getting Rarity back from those who sought to harm her. He also cared about Twilight and Applejacks safety. He couldn't let them be hurt in any way, because they had stallions waiting for them back home. Soon, the weather started getting warmer and the trees thinned out, allowing for more light to shine on the trail. Star suddenly stopped and motioned for the others to do the same.

Staring into the darkness of her prison, Rarity began to lose hope. She didn't know how long it had been since she was thrown in here. All she knew was that her captors had sworn that her Falling Star would soon be dead. She lamented at the thought of her true love, her SOUL MATE, lying on the ground, cold and unmoving. She was afraid she would never again see Star, her family, or her friends. All she could do was cry and pray to Celestia that help would come.

The Group stared out into the Wildlands. Once they set hoof in this place, there was no turning back. Falling Star looked at his friends and suddenly had an idea. "Wait here, I need to go send a letter to my sisters." He told the mares. "Alright, but make it quick, every minute wasted is another minute we lose to find Rarity." Twilight replied for the group, though they all looked happy enough to be taking a break. Star walked off into the trees to send his letter and the mares relaxed a little more. Ever since they had left Ponyville, they had been moving nonstop at an incredible pace. Even Rainbow Dash was tired. A few minutes later, Falling Star returned and they set off across the Wildlands. Star had a new look in his eyes, a look of such strength, that the others felt as though they could run faster even though they were tired. It was a look of hope.

Running with renewed vigor, the group followed the trail deep into the Wildlands. They soon arrived at the trails end, an evil looking fortress with huge walls and an ominous presence, and weren't surprised to see Chrysalis and Discord waiting for them. "Oh look Chrysalis, it's our old friends Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Applejack....but wait one of you is missing. Where is Rarity?" Discord said, obviously mocking them. "Didn't she arrive earlier, Discord?" Chrysalis said joining in. They both laugh darkly as the group glared at them. "Where is my Rarity, you fiends?" Falling Star demanded. "You'll see her soon, young Prince." Chrysalis answered in a stange tone, as though she respected Falling Star. "Take me to her, please." he pleaded, the tone of his voice changing from angry to sad. Even Discord and Chrysalis noticed the change. "Right this way, Prince." Discord said before walking off.

Following Discord and Chrysalis further into the fortress, Falling Star and his friends found themselve surrounded on all sides by changelings. Star wasn't worried about them though. They would be taken care of soon enough. Soon, the group was standing in front of a dungeon door. Inside they could hear sobbing. As the door opened, the sobbing stopped. Once the door was completely open, they saw Rarity inside. To be sure that it really was Rarity, Falling Star used his magic to detect deception. Finding no deception, he rushed in and embraced his love, telling her everything would be ok. Rarity was so glad to see Star, that she passed out. He lifted her onto his back and walked out of the dungeon. Stopping in front of Discord and Chrysalis, something suddenly came to his mind. "Why are you helping me? You both hate the rest of Equestria and all that live in it." He asked. Discord and Chrysalis looked at each other and laughed. "We hate Rising Sun more. Plus even we aren't evil enough to actually HURT somepony to get what we want. Even we think Rising Sun has gone too far." They explained.

Falling Star quickly became angry. So Rising Sun was behind all of this. "Discord? Chrysalis?" He asked with amazing calmness. "What is it, Prince?" They asked in reply. Giving Rarity to Applejack, Star told the mares to head back to Ponyville. "I want to thank you for helping me. I can't thank you enough for helping me save my dearest Rarity." He said, looking them straight in the eyes before giving a low bow to them both. "We may be considered evil, but we do have some compassion." They said as they turned and diappeared into the darkness. "Now, I think it's time I took care of Rising Sun." Star said aloud to nopony.

Rarity awoke to find herself back in the house she and Falling Star shared. She looked around and sighed. "It was all just a nightmare." She sighed. Any minute, Falling Star would come in to check on her. Slowly the minutes started ticking by, and as each one passed, Rarity became more anxious. Suddenly, the front door opened and there stood Falling Star, looking simply amazing. As soon as she saw that it was Star, Rarity jumped up and ran over to him. The two of them embraced each other and kissed. That was when Rarity noticed his hair. It was hanging over his right eye in a strange way. As she reached up to move it out of his eye, he stopped her. He looked at her with his left eye as if in apology. After a few moments, he allowed her to move his hair. Rarity gasped and tears welled up in her eyes. A thick scar mared his face, coming down over his right eye. After the initial shock, she kissed his scar and then his lips. "So it wasn't a nightmare then. It all really happened." She said, not as a question but as a fact. "Yes. You were taken and I came with the others to rescue you. After you passed out, I had Applejack bring you home, but I stayed behind to face the one that took you. It was that evil Rising Sun. She put up a tough fight and gave me this. In the end, though, I was Victorious." He told her. "I had hoped you would save me and you did." "I will always be there to protect and save you, Rarity."

The two of them cuddled by the fireplace again and relished in the fact that they were together again and that nothing would ever seperate them again, at least until it was time to get ready for the wedding tomorrow. With that thought in their heads, the happy couple fell into a deep sleep, exhausted from the days events

A Ponyville Royal Wedding: Forever
The sunrise slowly appeared on the horizon as Falling Star and Rarity slept by the fire. They were cuddled close under a single comforter, and they were resting peacefully. As soon as the first ray of light peeked into through the window, Falling Star woke up. His heart started pounding in his chest. Glancing down, he saw Rarity asleep next to him and he couldn't help but smile. Seeing her next to him made yesterday seem like a dream. But as he got up, he knew better than to think it was a dream. The evidence of it was on his face, the jagged scar from his battle with Rising Sun. Even though the scar would always remain, Falling Star had no regrets about what he had done. Rising Sun would bother them no more. He smiled and went into the kitchen to make breakfast for his beloved. He was happy to have Rarity back, safe and sound. Soon he heard the sound of Rarity waking up and trotted into the living room so she wouldn't worry.

Rarity woke up to find Star staring at her lovingly. She smiled at him, though her smile faltered a bit at the sight of the scar on his face. She kissed the jagged line and then she kissed his lips. "I love you, Star." she said drowsily, making him smile even wider. She looked outside at the sunrise and smiled. She was with her true love and they were happy together. Suddenly, she remembered something important....Today was their wedding day! "Oh dear, I Really must be going! The girls are probably waiting for me at the boutique and I would hate to keep them waiting long." Rarity said quickly. She started to rush out the door but was stopped by Falling Star. "Not before you have some breakfast." He said calmly, smiling at her sudden energy. She smiled back gratefully and went into the dining area to eat. The two of them chatted a bit while eating their food. After they finished, Star kissed Rarity and they went their seperate ways until the wedding.

Falling Star had to make sure the final preperations were just right. He wanted to make sure everything was perfect. After all, he wanted Rarity to be extra happy today. He smiled, knowing that as long as Rarity was with the other mares, she was safe from anything. He walked towards Fluttershys cottage to check up on everything, and was surprised to see that everything was indeed perfect. The other stallions had been busy in his absence, setting everything up in exactly the right place. Slishy had done well with the higher decorations. Big Mac, Caramel, and Doctor Whooves had set up the heavier things, like the natural benches and the gazebo. Everything was spectacular. Star stood in awe for a few more moments and then ran over and hugged his friends.

Rarity was nervous as she could be. She knew Star would be just as nervous but that only made her even more nervous. Her friends where ready and waiting for her to come out of the dressing room. When she did, the other mares gasped. Rarities wedding dress was absolutely amazing. Like everything Rarity made, the gown was simple yet it hinted at elegance. Rarity had made a true masterpiece for her wedding. She looked at the clock and was disheartend to see that there were still two hours till the wedding. She looked around at her friends and smiled. It was just like the time they helped plan the wedding for Shining Armor and Cadence, except she was the blushing bride to be. Soon, her parents arrived and started fussing over her. She really did feel happy about today.

The final two hours had seemed like an eternity to Falling Star. He was nervous. He Celetia and Luna had shown up to his house about thirty minutes after he had gotten ready and they were unusually giddy about the wedding. Obviously, Celestia had to leave as the time for the wedding drew closer, since she was the one preforming the ceremony. Luna and Star sat and talked for a while as they waited for the right time. "Luna..." Star said. "What troubles you, brother?" Luna asked. "Nothing but nerves, sister. I just wanted to ask if you would be my best mare." Star replied. "I would be honored to do it." Luna said.

The time finally arrived. The wedding would begin at any moment. All of Ponyville was abuzz with excitment, and nopony was willing to chance missing the ceremony. Lavish decorations, the smell of fresh Apple family cider, and an amazing day had drawn everypony to the wedding site. Falling Star was already at the altar with Celestia and Luna. As soon as everypony was seated, Octavia bagan playing. Everpony watched as Twilight, Pinkie, Dash, Fluttershy, and AJ came down the aisle to stand by the gazebo. Then, the tune changed to the traditional wedding march and everypony stood and turned towards the entrance to the aisle. The cutie mark crusaders came through the entrance and started up the aisle with their flower baskets and behind them came Rarity.

Seeing Rarity walk slowly down the aisle towards him made Star smile brightly. He felt tears coming to his eyes, but he didn't care about that. His mind only registered his happiness as Rarity walked towards him. He was as happy as he could be at the moment.

The sight of all the gathered ponies made Rarity feel a little self concious. But then, she saw her Falling Star. He stood proudly at the altar, waiting for her. It took all her willpower to stop herself from running up the aisle as fast as she could. She slowly walked up the aisle and took her place at the altar, still looking at Star. Nothing could hurt her now. She was happy to be with Falling Star on this day. She couldn't help noticing the tears in his eyes as he looked at her with a loving smile on his face. Tears came to her eyes as well, even though she tried to hide them.

"We are gathered here today to witness the Union of Prince Falling Star and Rarity. The power of their love is undeniable, their commitment infallible, and their bond unwavering. These two are making the biggest commitment of all, giving their whole hearts to each other forever more. The bond they share is powerful, indeed. The bond of marriage is the greatest bond of all, and the two ponies here are willing to take that bond upon themselves forever........." Celestia said as everypony took their seats again.

The ceremony went quickly, though neither Falling Star or Rarity paid much attention to anything other than each other. Soon, Celestia was asking, "Falling Star, do you take Rarity to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold? In sickness and in health? Through the good times and the bad? To honor and to love? To protect and comfort? For as long as you both shall live?"

Star looked at Rarity and kissed her on the lips, just as the sun was setting. They held the kiss for a long moment as everypony stood and stomped and cheered. As they were kissing, Rainbow Dash did her trick, to the amazement of everypony. "Citizens of Ponyville, I give you Prince Falling Star and Princess Rarity." Celestia declared, placing a crown on Rarities head as she said this. Then, it was time for the reception. Pinkie Pie had gone all out with the decorations and the party was way more fun than should be legal. Everypony had a great time and each one personally came up to the newly married couple and congratulated them. The music started playing, a slow song that everpony knew wasn't exactly Vinyl's style, but needed to be played. Falling Star and Rarity walked onto the dance floor and had their first dance. Then, they had pictures taken and their families and friends stood up to give speeches about the two. Before long, Faliing Star and Rarity were climbing into a carriage and Rarity was tossing her bouquet into the air behind her. It was caught by Vinyl Scratch, who looked just as surprised as everypony else. After a shared laugh, the newly weds prepared to leave. All of a sudden, Star turned around and cleared his throat.

A Party and Some Exciting News
"We're almost home, honey. You better wake up or you'll miss the view." A voice said in the dark interior of the carriage. The two ponies looked out the carriage window together. As they came over the hill, the two smiled as Ponyville came into view. It had been weeks since they had left and they were glad to be back. They could hear the ponies in the market and the sound made them smile a little wider. Soon they would be back home. The thought made both ponies extremely excited. Neither of them could wait to be back at their house, cuddling by the fireplace like they always did. Before that though, they knew they would have to meet with their friends. Still smiling, they got out of the carriage. One was a white alicorn stallion, with a red pattern on his body, navy blue and blood red mane and tail, red eyes, blue freckles, red and blue wings, and a star cutie mark on his flank. The other was a white unicorn mare, with a beautifully tended purple mane and tail, blue eyes, and a triple gem cutie mark on her flank. Both ponies were wearing rings on their horns and crowns on their heads. Together, they walked the rest of the way to town, knowing that soon they would be surronded by there friends.

As soon as the two ponies were withing a hundred yards of the town, everything got quiet. The couple looked at each other then walked towards the center of town. They knew that they had heard the sounds of ponies in the market, but looking around, they saw nopony. It was quite strange. Then they heard sounds coming from the towns City Hall and wondered over there. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the citizens of Ponyville sprang up from their hiding places and yelled "Welcome Home". Everypony came over to them and personally welcomed them home. The Mayor got up on her Platform and said, "Welcome Home, Prince Falling Star and Princess Rarity." The two of them blushed at that. None of their friends called them that except on special occasions. Falling Star stepped forward and said "Hello citizens of Ponyville. It's good to be home!"

It was a classic Pinkie Pie party, with tons of decorations, great food, and good music. All of their friends were there with them, asking about the honeymoon and what they were going to do now that they were back. All these questions they answered, until they were so tired that they had to leave. Soon enough, they were at their house and both agreed that it was a beautiful sight. As soon as they were inside, they went over to the fireplace. Soon, they were under a blanket. next to a roaring fire, and as happy as could be. "Excuse me, Darling, but I really must go to the little filly's room." Rarity said after a while. Smiling she got up and walked down the hall, with Falling Star staring at her all the while.

After twenty minutes, Falling Star bagan to worry about his wife. He stood up, stretched his legs and walked down the hall to the bathroom. "Rarity? Is everything ok?" Star asked as he opened the door. Rarity was sitting on the floor looking down at something in front of her. "Rarity?" Star asked tenatively. Rarity turned towards the sound of his voice and he saw the look on her face. "What's wrong, Rarity?" He asked. "Nothing is wrong, Star. In fact everything is perfect. Why wouldn't be, after the news I just recieved!" She replied happily with tears streaming down her muzzle. "What are you talking about, Rarity? What news?" Star asked. "Star, we're gonna be parents. I'm...I'm pregnant." Rarity explained.

Falling Star sat down on the floor next to Rarity, letting what she just said sink in, and gave her a gentle hug. Tears started streaming down his face as they sat there. The tears weren't from sadness though. Instead, they were tears of joy. He and Rarity were going to be parents. They were going to have a child, or children, to raise. He was happy. Satr looked into Rarity's eyes and kissed her lips gently. "That is wonderful news, my love." He said. The two of them made their way to the bedroom, after putting out the fireplace in the living room. Star helped Rarity into bed, then he lit a fire in the fireplce in their room. It was winter after all and he wanted Rarity to stay warm, especially now that they knew she was with foal. Star gently climbed into the bed, and laid his head on the pillow, humming softly so Rarity would be able to fall asleep. As both ponies drifted off to sleep, their faces were etched with smiles that nothing could erase.
A Falling Star in Ponyville
Over the next few weeks, Falling Star was running or flying all over the place. When he wasn't working, he was checking up on Rarity at the boutique or the house. She had started getting morning sickness and he had to make sure she was okay. When they would go on their usual walks at night, Rarity would move gingerly. Soon, Rarity began to show. Falling Star gathered their friends at the library, their usual meeting place. Rarity was already there, wearing a loose fitting outfit to hide her rounded stomach. "Thank you all for coming. Rarity and I have great news and we wanted you all to be the first to know." Falling Star said to the group. "What are you talking about, Star?" AJ asked the proud looking stallion. None of the others had ever seen Star look like he did now. He looked proud, regal, happy and tired all at the same time. "Rarity and I are going to be listening the pitter patter of little hooves soon." Star said. A few minutes went bye in silence. Then, all the other mares looked at Rarity and asked "Is this true?" Rarity took off her outfit to reveal her rounded stomach to their friends. There they stood, in stunned silence, until Pinkie Pie started going crazy.

After calming Pinkie Pie down, the group hugged and promised to spread the news of the baby subtly. Walking back to their houses, the group slowly dispersed. "I think that went very well, Rarity." Star said looking at his wife. Rarity nodded and then stumbled alittle as she walked. Suppressing a laugh, Star put her on his back and took flight. As Star soared over Ponyville, he started talking to Rarity about what they would name the new addition to the family. She nuzzled his neck and told him that she didn't know yet. It took only a few minutes to fly to their house. Soon they were in bed again, drifting to sleep as they lay there with their arms wrapped around each other.

The nightmares were back, worse than they ever were before. Voices in his head as he slept, visions of things from the past; or were they from the future? An evil laugh, darkness, and the smell of smoke and fire filled his nightmare. Why couldn't he wake up? Then, everything faded into darkness. The darkness closed in around him, threatening to swallow him. The feeling of helplessness was unbearable. Suddenly, a new vision filled his vision. This new vision was the worst yet. It was that vision that forced him awake, screaming and in a cold sweat, waking Rarity and possibly half of Equestria in the process. He sat there, breathing heavily and waiting for his heart rate to go down. "What ever is the matter, Star?" Rarity asked her clearly frightened husband. "J-just a bad dream, my love." He replied, laying back down. It wasn't long before they both fell asleep again.

Waking up the next morning, Star rolled out of the bed and stretched. Even with the nightmares, he had slept rather well. The final vision still scared him. It had been so realistic. Star shook his head to clear the thought of it from his mind. He couldn't afford to be distracted right now. He trotted off to the kitchen, following the smell of a freshly made breakfast. Rarity was nowhere to be seen, but there was a note next to Stars breakfast plate. The note said that Rarity had gone in to her boutique early to do some work. Star smiled at the note and the breakfast. Rarity wasn't the element of Generosity for nothing. After eating his breakfast, Star headed over to the bakery, knowing that Pinkie Pie could always use the help. After spending hours in the bakery, making cupcakes, pies, and other assorted baked goods, Star left covered in flour and frosting.

Rarity was worried about Falling Star. She had never heard him scream like that. She knew something had scared him last night, but she didn't know what it was. What could have made her Star act like that? She had never seen him truely afraid before. Nothing had ever scared him before. She had seen him stare down an Ursa, for Celestias sake! Nothing could scare him, yet something had. Rarity shook her head, trying to focus on the task at hoof. She took a deep breath and was about to dive into her latest project when she felt movement in her stomach. She stopped and waited, then it happened again. The foal was kicking. She smiled and decided to take her time on the project, making sure she didn't move too much. The foal kicked from time to time and her smile would get bigger each time. She couldn't wait to tell Star about this.

After a long day of working, Star and Rarity met back at the house. They grabbed a quick bite to eat for supper and then cuddled on the couch, which Star had moved closer to the fireplace. Rarity told star about how the foal had been kicking earlier and Star put his hoof on her stomach. After a couple of minutes he felt a tiny push and he smiled. The two of them were going to be parents. It wouldn't be much longer now, just a few months. Thanks to their friends, Rarity's parents, the citizens of Ponyville, not to mention Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor, the two of them had everything they needed. Slowly, they drifted of to sleep on the couch.
A Falling Star in Ponyville
Time had flown by. It was only a matter of days till the foal arrived. Star and Rarity had everything they needed and extras in case they were needed. Raritys stomach had gotten so big that she could hardly move around. Star now spent every moment by her side. In the last couple of weeks, the two of them had thought of the perfect names for the foal; Comet, if it was a colt, Venus, if it was a filly. Judging from the size of Raritys stomach, they were guessing it was a healthy colt. They had been to the doctor for the ultrasound, but had asked him not to give any details about the foal. They wanted to be surprised.

One day, as Rarity was walking around the house, she suddenly stiffened and calmly said "Star". Star immediatly flew into a frenzy, gathering everything they needed, magically sending letters to their friends and families, and lifting her gently onto his back. Walking gingerly, he managed to exit their home and take to the sky. It wasn't long before they arrived at the hospital. As soon as they landed, Star rushed in, being careful not to jostle Rarity and the foal. He quickly told the doctor what was happening. After Star finished explaining, the doctor found an empty room and helped get Rarity onto the bed. Soon, their friends and families arrived. After about an hour and a half, the doctors shooed everypony besides Star out of the room.

Outside the room, all the other ponies heard was Raritys pained screams and the doctor telling her to push. Suddenly, a small cry is heard and they know the foal has arrived. Before they can open the door though, Rarity once again screams in pain. They hear the doctor telling her to push again. Soon, Rarity stops screaming in pain and a new cry is heard, this one a little louder. The doctor comes out of the room and tells everypony that the delivery went without complications and says that they must wait in the lobby for a while.

After about thirty minutes, Rarity and Star walked into the lobby, Rarity looking a bit tired and disheveled, but both wore huge smiles on their faces. They wordlessly beckoned for the others to follow them and turned back down the hall. The others silently stood and followed the couple down to the viewing room, where they would be able to see the newborn foal. Star and Rarity entered the room and the others waited on the other side of the viewing window. The couple stood next to a cradle and smiled. They looked at their families and friends with smiles permanently etched on their faces.

Star looked into the crib next to him and the smile on his face widened. He looked over at the window and saw everypony waiting in anticipation. "Say hello to our daughter, Venus." He said, indicating the little, purple, alicorn filly. The groups smiled at the newborn filly as she yawned. "Say hello, again, to our son, Comet." Rarity told the group, indicating the little, white and blue, pegasus colt in another cradle. The group stood in awe and wonder, looking back and forth between the two newborns. Star and Rarity walked out of the room that they were in and joined their friends and families on the other side of the glass. They were met by a tidal wave of hugs, congratulations, tears of joy, and smiles. Everypony would remember the day that Celestia and Luna actually cried in public.
A Falling Star in Ponyville
It was a busy day in the small town of Ponyville. Everyone was socializing and hurrying here and there. The Mane 6 were enjoying themselves in the park with their pets, when all of a sudden, a stallion fell from the sky. The stallion was white with a red pattern on his body and on his face were navy blue freckles. His ruffled blue and red mane and tail were cut short. On his flank was a shooting star cutiemark. He was wearing a adventurers vests and boots, an intricate amulet, and glasses.
"Sir, are you alright?" asked Twilight Sparkle. She looked down at the stallion and realized that her question was not nessesary. Anypony could tell that he was badly injured. "What is your name?"
"M-my name is......" He managed to say before passing out from his injuries.

Falling Star opened his eyes to find himself in a strange, brightly lit room. Once his vision cleared, he realized that it was a hospital room. What's more, as he looked around he saw six mares staring at him.

The white mare, Rarity, walked up to Falling Stars bed and set a bunde next to him. "I hope you don't mind, but I took the Liberty to remake your tattered old clothes for you."
