Equestria: Avery's Wrath

Avery is now trapped in a barrier, not able to escape. Solar and the others are searching for Princess Luna, looking over and under, inside and outside, doing nearly everything they can to find her. And if you wonder about Fluttershy, she's just hiding in the Canterlot castle.

"Whew, this place sure is big. Bigger than Ponyville it seems like." Applejack says looking around with Pinkie

"Nope, nope, not here, not there, isn't over here, certainly isn't here" Pinkie says zooming around everywhere and coming out of Applejack's hat.

"Where else should we look Pinkie?"

"OH, how about over there!"

"Alright, but how about you guys? Did you find anything?"

"Not as of yet, can't find any traces of you pony folk nor of the enemy thief" A thief says going toward Applejack, their eyes are yellow.

"Just keep searchin' we'll come across something sooner or later."

Applejack and Pinkie continued searching in the Gaia region.

Rarity and some of Solar's foot-soldiers search in the bitter cold of Frost Mountain.

"Nothing yet? Hmm, let's go around and continue up, we have to come across something." Rarity says wearing a scarf

"Yes miss Rarity." A foot-soldier says with a determined voice

Solar was searching the west region of the city, having the same luck as the others.

Rainbow and a loyal thief was at the outer wall of the city, where it is rumored that past thieves go and hide.

"Where do you suppose they hide at?" Rainbow asks

"How should I know? We have no idea where it might be and if we do find a cave in the outer wall, we can't be sure if it's the exact cave your friend was taken to." The thief said with a slight annoyed tone.

"Well it's either that or we don't do anything at all. I'll go this way, you go the other way so that we can have more ground to cover." Rainbow instructs

The thief silently goes one way, while Rainbow flies the other. After a while Rainbow finds a cave and stops by it, she listens to see if the same thief from Ponyville was inside. There was no voices coming from inside, just the sound of steam. Rainbow then flies again.

She stops at another cave and listens, at first it sounded like nothing but a voice was heard.

"Come on little pony, drink your drink!"

"ABSOLUTELY NOT! I will not drink lava! That's just idiotic!"

Rainbow slowly went inside trying not to alert anything.

Suddenly the voice was heard again saying "OH! I'm out of food...I need to go get some more. I'll be right back little pony, just stay there!" there was a light coming from inside the cave and Rainbow went outside and above the cave entrance.

The same thief from Ponyville stepped outside and breathed in, then it crouched and jumped away. Rainbow then flew inside, looking for the entrance to wherever the thief came out of. She found it and went inside, the room was lit itself and she found Luna inside a little cage made of rock.

"Rainbow Dash! Thank goodness you're here. I couldn't use my magic because that thing was squishing me so much, and it's nearly impossible to use magic here!" Luna exclaims

"Yeah, well we've got a bigger problem happening above ground right now." Rainbow says kicking away the door.

"What do you mean?" Luna says curiously

"I'll explain on the way, but first we need to get you to Solar's temple so that we can a spell on you so that you don't feel the extreme heat down here!"

"Yes, that would be good."

Rainbow and Luna flew out of the cave and towards Solar's temple. Rainbow explained to Luna what happened with Avery and what they need to do. Halfway to the temple, Luna started to descend.

"The heat is bringing me down...I don't know how much longer I can fly." Luna says breathing heavily.

"Come on Princess, what would happen if you don't get to Avery in time?! You have to keep on pushing it!" Rainbow says

Luna looked forward and tried to continue. They got to the temple, but Luna collapsed. Applejack, Pinkie, Rarity, and Solar were already back from their searching. Solar goes to Rainbow and Luna and picks the princess up.

"This is her? Well lets not waste anytime." Solar says going inside the temple

Solar put Luna on the table and her hoof on the tablet, he then proceeded with the spell with the same unknown language. Luna gasped after the spell was complete and looked around. She got up and looked at Solar.

"Thank you."

"No problem at all, but lets hurry on out of here if you wish to save your friend." Solar says with a seriousness in his voice

"Right. Lets go now"

Luna went outside and everyone smiled as they knew that she was alright. Luna went to where they came in at and everyone else followed including Solar. Solar changed into his giant size again and lifted everyone to the top of the hole. Everyone jumped out and into the throne room, a few seconds later Solar joined them.

"Where are they?" Pinkie asks

"Perhaps they are already trapping the beast. Let's go to Ponyville and see" Solar says dusting himself off

"His name is Avery, and I'd prefer if you call him as such." Luna says with slight anger

"Sorry, I didn't know his name."

"....I'll teleport everypony there, so that we won't waste anytime."

And with that said everyone gathers around Luna and she casts a telepotation spell to Ponyville, right next to the colorful bubble that Avery's trapped in. Celestia looks over to see Luna and rushes over to hug her.

"Luna! Thank goodness you're safe!"

"And it's good to see that you have things under control here." Luna says looking at Avery

Avery was smashing his magma arms on the bubble towards everyone, even Luna.

"....I do believe, that we are too late." Solar says sadly

"What are you talking about? I be-" Rainbow says before looking at the sky.

The sky was now completely red, the moon was orange in it's ray of light.

"The sky is red, there is nothing we can do now." Solar says looking away

"...There may be one way, it has worked before and it may work here." Luna say going to the bubble

"Luna, are you going to..." Celestia says

"Yes sister, I'm going to do just that."

Celestia sighs and says "Just tell me when to drop it"

Everyone looks at Celestia in fear

"You can't seriously be thinking that you're going to let loose that creature!" Solar exclaims

"I'm not, I'm dropping the barrier so that Luna can cast a spell onto him."

"I do not believe a simple spell will work on him."

"It's not a simple spell, it's a spell that only Luna can use. The spell to enter a pony's mind"

Everyone was confused.

Twilight spoke up "But, I've never heard of that. How is there a spell that only one pony can use and not any other?"

Celestia looks over to Twilight "Because this spell can only be used by Luna, since in the night, dreams can be accessed by a spell and through there she can enter ones mind. But she CAN use the spell to only go into the mind, she may have an idea to bring him back."

While they spoke Luna was charging up her magic, making it more powerful by the second.

"Tia, now!" Luna shouted

The bubble was destroyed and Avery was about to crush Luna with his magma arms when Luna touched her horn on his head causing both of them to be motionless.

"Now, we wait until she is done." Celestia says sitting down

Everyone chatted away as Luna was now inside Avery's mind.
