Equestria: Avery's Wrath

Luna finds herself in a dark room, the floor feels gooey as she steps on it. She looks around and the walls seem to be the same as the floor.

"An odd place for Avery's mind, but I'm in. Now, let's find a way to get him back." Luna says walking through a hall.

As she walks through the many halls of Avery's mind, the floor and walls start to become more like a house and become divided. She comes to a door with a music note on it.

"A door? Let's see what's behind it" She opens the door slowly

To her surprise, the room was made of many square tiles on the floor and walls. There were musical instruments lined up at the end of the room, organized from woodwind to brass.

"...A music room?"  Luna says stepping forward

When her hoof made contact with one of the tiles, it lit up and made a sound. Luna backed up her hoof, then placed it down again to hear the sound. She walked into the room, and every time she stepped on the floor or touched the walls it made sound. Luna then jumped from square to square, making a simple song. There was a large smile on her face as she continued making music.

She then suddenly stopped and a serious face replaced her happy one.

"I need to find how to bring Avery back, though it's interesting that he has a room in his mind like this." She then walks out of the room

She walked a very short way until she found another room, this door had crossed swords on it. She entered the room to find that the floor and walls in here were very hard and bland, there were swords lined up on the walls and a single scythe.

"What in the world? Does he practice swordsmanship here?" Luna says looking around the room

She shakes her head "This room isn't what I need" she closes the door and head towards the next room.

This door had a paint brush and a rainbow colored line from the brush, she opens the door. The room was white with drawings of different kinds of things, some being ponies, some being of fight scenes, and some being comics. She walks into the room and floor made a crunching sound under her hooves. She looks around and spots a lone box sitting in the corner and walks towards it.

The box was blue and had a symbol of a heart on it and had golden lace where it opens. Luna opens the box to find stacks of drawings of ponies in couples, only that it was of him and somepony else. There was Luna, Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Rarity.

"...He....He has a soft heart, but how come he never mentions them when we talk. And there seems to more of Twilight and I than the others." Luna says going through them all

There was another page at the bottom of the box, she hovers it and looks. It was a blank paper with only words on it.

My heart is soft and is surrounded by a hard shell, these ponies have the power to break through the shell and strike my heart. When I find them, I will make pictures of them and myself and store them here. Who knows....maybe one of them will even like me.

Luna stares at the paper for a few minutes, then puts it back. She replaces all the pictures where they were, closes the box, and leaves the room.

She walked to another door, this one baring a heart symbol. She opens the door and instantly walks in, the room was divided into seven different rooms. She walks to a dark blue door and opens it, inside was floating spheres that emitted a dim glow. She walks over to one of the spheres and looks at it, there was life like image of herself and Avery hugging each other.

She looks at it for a second and touches it, it then started to play out like a video. They were hugging each other, ears were down and Avery had a smile on his face, one smile that Luna has yet to see. They nuzzled and the image reset itself. Luna looked down at it, thinking. She went to another one and touched it, it played out. This one seemed to have a more romantic setting to it. It stopped and Luna looks at the other floating spheres around her.

"This...is where he stores romantic thoughts. This room is of me, and the others are of other ponies. There are so many here too....but I do not share this amount of thoughts of him."

She leaves the room and goes to another one, a purple colored one. In here more spheres floated and shined dimly. She goes to one and looks at it, this one is of Twilight and Avery sitting by each other. She touched it and it played out. They were just sitting there like nothing was wrong, Twilight then looks at Avery and hugs him, he had a blush across his face when it happened but he smiled another smile Luna has yet to see. Avery hugs her back, the image then reset itself.

"This room is of Twilight, and there seems to be the same amount of thoughts here as in the room where I am."

She leaves the room and goes to the others. A orange door leading to Applejack, a yellow door leading to Fluttershy, a pink door leading to Pinkie, a rainbow colored door leading to Rainbow, and a white door leading to Rarity. Luna leaves the last room and looks at her room and Twilight's.

"None of the others rooms have as much thoughts as those two, and based on what I found he thinks of his friends like more than friends. As if he longs for a pony by his side."

Luna looks around and notices a note on a clear wall, she goes over and reads it. The note seemed burned yet you could read the text perfectly, there was cinders coming from the note.

That creature took her away, I will get her back. I'll crush that thing into rubble, that stupid little thing with orange eyes.

"Does he mean me?" Luna says looking at the note

After a few minutes of thinking, she perks her head up.

"I have to show that I'm with him in order to bring him back! Yes that- but from what I saw...I have to kiss him in order to show him that I'm there. There MUST another way..." She starts walking in circles

"Can I move the spheres?" She goes to the dark blue room

She rolls a sphere outside "Yes!" she then rolls it to another room, the sphere glows and changes to that pony.

She then goes and rolls more out to the others rooms, she evens them to the others leaving the purple room untouched. She looks around her room and see that there are still many spheres there.

"I need to move at least two more, then I can just hug him."

Luna takes two spheres and takes them outside, she then looks over to the purple room. She walks over to the room and tosses the spheres inside, they change and then the room started to show heart symbols on the walls.

"I think that now, he'll be thinking about this mare a great deal."

She leaves the room and goes out into the halls and continues down to another door, but this door was chained up as if no one was allowed inside. She tries to open the door but was pushed back. A voice was heard in her ears.

"No one is allowed in this room, not even the master of this mind. This room contains his past, it's blocked up for a spell that went a little wrong. Move along"

The voice was not of Avery's. Luna got a little curious about that, but continues down the hall. She then finds herself at a gooey door, it made a squishing sound when she touched it. She opens the door and marches on inside. She continued going forward until she comes into a room with a large blob at its center. The blob made a constant beat, deep and low.

Luna stepped forward and the blob started to unfold into a large humanoid figure, with four arms and a strange shaped head. In the center of the blob was Avery's face, blank and staring at nothing.

"What the....Is this what's controlling you?" Luna asks

In reply, the blob smashed it's gooey fists into the ground near her. Luna just looks at the blob and walks forward, her eyes locked onto Avery. The blob continued to attack her, but it seems blind and misses just slightly. Luna stops and flies towards Avery's head, she then grabs him and pulls him out of the blob. The blob made a high pitched shriek that made you want to cover your ears.

Luna hovers down and looks at Avery, he still had a blank face.

"Well....Time to bring you back home." Luna says quietly

She wrapped her hooves around Avery and a light emitted from him. After a few seconds the light then floats up and pops. Nothing was there and Luna was still inside Avery's mind.

"Now to bring myself back"

She made her horn glow and then she turned to mist and floated away.

Outside, Luna was hugging Avery and he was no longer a monster. He was asleep, his legs dangling as he was held. Luna opens her eyes and slowly lets go of him. She then goes to Celestia and the others who were looking at her.

"Good job Luna, you've rescued him." Celestia says tiredly

Solar was no longer there. Twilight went up to Luna and smiled to her.

"Do you mind if you stay and tell us how you did it?" Twilight asks

"Not at all" Luna answers
