The Pig King of Equestria

Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy had just gotten back from their sudden mission in the Crystal Empire. Such an invigorating start to the month it was, being it was the fourth national disaster the land had diverted since these six have been doing their job of wielding the Elements of Harmony. The six had been gone about 3 days, and now had to integrate back in to normal life since leaving abruptly.

Such a task was hard indeed when one had many animals she was supposed to care for. Oh how bad she felt when she returned, they had no Idea why she had to leave so soon. Such a thing would tear at the worrisome one, but she was capable of calming herself down, and getting all of her chores done.

Fluttershy had quickly set out all the food that she thought they would need in the time she was gone before the trip. It was enough to last about a week, but she double checked everything before finding time to relax.

Angel, for one, found this a bit amusing, until he realized he had not been given his third evening snack. because of this, he stopped Fluttershy in her frantic tracks, almost causing her to flip over.

"Oh Angel! I am so sorry I forgot about that! Since I was gone, I think I will get you a nice fruit salad to make up for the time I was gone." Said Fluttershy as she rushed into the kitchen.

Angel felt a bit bad for that, he did not expect her to react like that, but he was getting more attention this way, along with a tasty sounding fruit salad, so it must have been justified.

Fluttershy came back in the room, and gave Angel a big carrot, along with a fruit salad with all sorts of delicacies. the spoiled bunny quickly inspected it to make sure it was of quality condition for him, and when he tasted it, he jumped into the bowl and viscously ate at the salad.

Fluttershy sat down for a second, and recollected the activities of the day. She did not want to forgot about one of her pet's, so she went back and was about to triple check everything.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door, and Fluttershy squeaked a bit. She quickly remember it was just the door, and walked up to see who it was.

As she opened the door, she was greeted by the three Cutie Mark Crusaders.

"Oh hey Fluttershy!" said SweetieBelle, "So, How was the trip?"

"Didn't Pinkie already tell us?" said Scootaloo.

"Yea, so did Applejack and Rainbow Dash..." added Applebloom.

Fluttershy replied to her visitors "Oh, well, I don't have much more to say other than the Empire was so beautiful."

"Yeah, that's what Rarity said." responded Applebloom.

With some observation, it looked as though the trio were planning on another one of their crazy cutie mark acquisition schemes. Being as they had helmets on already, and packed saddle-bags.

"What are you girls up to right now?" asked Fluttershy

Scootaloo quickly answered excitedly "Were going treasure hunting in the Everfree forest!"

Applebloom, and SweetieBelle quickly covered Scootaloo's mouth, but it was too late.

"The Everfree forest?!" Said Fluttershy, "Why don't you go somewhere safer, like the Sunflower Fields?"

Sweetiebelle sighed, "We have already tried everywhere 'safe', but I think we will be fine searching the Everfree."

Scootaloo butted in "Besides, nopony ever goes there, so any treasure would stay there for a long time!"

With that, Applebloom and Sweetiebelle nodded.

Fluttershy quickly replied "Girls! Nopony goes into the Everfree because it is too dangerous!"

Applebloom grunted, and said "But we have been there before!"

Fluttershy quickly rebuttaled, "Yes, but you were almost turned to stone by that cockatrice! If I had not been there..."

Scootaloo cut her off, "That's actually why we came, we were wondering if you would come with us!"

Fluttershy took a step back, "You want, me, to some with you?"

Applebloom replied "Yes! your the best with animals,"

Sweetiebelle jumped in "You Know the area well,"

Scootaloo finished "And your the Stare Master!"

Fluttershy thought about it for a second, "Why can't we go somewhere, safer, and not as scary?"

Applebloom replied "Maybe you should try to face fear! Anytime I have a nightmare, If I just get mad, it runs away!"

This did remind Fluttershy a whole lot of how she felt when she gave somepony or something the stare, especially recalling when she faced that dragon. Perhaps it would be good for her self esteem to go on this trip. Besides, the trio was probably going to go even if she told them not to.

"Alright, I will go with you." Said Fluttershy.

The trio shared a cheer and started talking frantically about what things they had in plan, and were they wanted to go. Sweetiebelle layed out a map of the known Everfree, and it had listed spots they wanted to check out. Fluttershy carefully marked the spots she knew they should not visit based on her past experiences there.

"Alright, I think that is good." Said Fluttershy as she rolled up the map.

"Finally!" Replied Scootaloo, "Now let's get going."

Porky sat in the aged machine, still waiting. He had gone through al ot of hate since the capsule landed on this world. At this point, he sat, and waited for something to happen, while thinking of what he would do if he got out. Although there was no hope of leaving, he found it hard to not think about plans or things he could do if he did escape. Somehow, he did have a little of this hope, of which made him sick.

The capsule sat mostly dark, as if he was not on a world. Sometimes, he even thought it was just his mind fooling him when he landed. But nonetheless, his only options were to sleep, wait, think, and occasionally slowly stand up and move around restlessly.

Utter Boredom was not always around. When he did think of what a new world could be like, Porky's mind became occupied with many thoughts, of which pushed away boredom for awhile.

One other thing, over time, he did feel slightly different, of which, he was starting to realize, might be the world outside. He nearly forgot he learned some PSI before he was secluded to this capsule. He even forgot about telepathy, as he could not receive anything from the nothingness he floated around in beforehand.

In the past weeks, he had been slowly trying to recollect his former PSI knowledge, which was hard being he was in such an enclosed space. But, he did get some feeling of the world outside through telepathy, but not much, perhaps it was already destroyed and he did not get to see it.

Then, this day, as he sat there, he felt something. His mind could tell a more intelligent living being was near, HAH! So there must be more races like those "people"! He thought.

With this, he stood up, and staggered closer to the blacked out window.

Fluttershy and the Cutie Mark Cursaders stood from a distance observing this spherical object that lay before them. It was covered in moss, dirt, and other forest things, but some metal showed through. It was half sunk into the ground, and sat in an overgrown crater of sorts.

"W-What is that?" asked Applebloom as she stared at it.

Scootaloo replied "I dunno, let's get a closer look."

The three fillies started walking toward it, and Fluttershy stopped them, "Wait! it is probably dangerous, maybe we should just leave."

Sweetiebelle quickly retorted "It doesn't look dangerous, and maybe it has treasure in it!"

Fluttershy did not expect to come across a treasure of sorts, so she wasn't sure what to do here. Then, a small, feeling, came to her. It felt like, something from in the spherical object that lay before them. It felt, envious, and very scarred.

"Wait, I-I think there is something, alive, in there!" She stuttered.

Scootaloo looked at it, "No, I think it looks pretty lifeless."

Fluttershy turned to the girls, "You three stay back, I will take a closer look at it."

The trio backed up without much rebuttal, and Fluttershy cautiously approached the strange object. At the edge of the overgrown crater, she slipped, and hit the sphere face first. This triggered it to react, by slowly releasing some steam of sorts, and suddenly a loud tune played...

Fluttershy, very startled, scrambled away, tripping over her own hooves a few times.

The tune then started to scramble, and the sound of electricity could be heard, when, suddenly, the door on the capsule blasted off. Fluttershy and the trio looked back from behind a tree cautiously, to see a odd looking, and very pale creature slowly crawl out. The creature then stumbled, and gasped for breath.

Fluttershy, quickly flew over to it, "Oh, you poor thing! I can't imagine how long you must have been in there!"

The creature, being Porky, looked up, and passed out.

"Oh dear! i will take you to my place and nurse you back to health!" Said Fluttershy, "Girls, hurry back to my house!"

Oh how Fluttershy did not know what the helpless looking thing in her hooves was capable of, the very fact he was out of the capsule, likely meant doom on Equestria. Though, Kindness has been proven to change hearts, what will happen?
