Chapters Running. Faster and faster untill her hooves ached and began to blister.
Twilight had to do some research immediatly. If she couldn't help Celestia she could loose her job and worse... Celestia would die.
What WOULD happen if she died?... The thought scared Twilight. Nopony else in Equestria knew how to raise the sun. All Luna could do was raise the moon.
She pounded on the door to her tree house untill spike, now a larger dragon, yet not at full age, answered her door. "oh hey Twi." He said "hello Spike." She replied in a kind way. "Spike, have you seen that book on ancient magic? I haven't read that book in ages... Old fashoned magic is really dangerous."
Spike looked through a few bookcases untill he came upon a dusty old book, that looked something like a bible, exept for the fact that it had a few strange designs on the front. He handed it to Twilight who sighed in relief "ok good... i was scared that somepony or... possibly a dragon could have thrown it out." she looked towards Spike "heh-heh..." he said. "I only threw out 1 or 2... and decides! The front cover was torn!"
Twilight rolled her eyes and treaded over to where she usually read her books, which was on her desk. When she opened the book her heart started to pound. Every page was covered in a thick layer of green goop. She had seen the goo before. She knew it. She just couldn't remember where.
"Spike!", she yelled "get over here! I have to show you something!"
Spike ran over as quick as he could and made a noise that sounded like a cough, burp, and wheeze at the same time. "Are you okay Spike?" Asked Twilight. "i-uh...ya... im good" He smiled and did the cough, burp, wheeze thing again.
"Spike..."
"What Twi?"
"Are you SURE youre ok?"
"oh ya... i'm great!"
"Really?... cause We don't want you turning into a rampaging dragon again, trying to take everything he sees now do we?"
"n-n-no Twi! Th-th-thats not what i want at all!"
"Good... then tell me... Are you alright?"
"ya i think so... just got the sniffles, thats all."
Twilight eyed him carefully before making sure... "ok!", she said "i'll believe you this time..."
She grabbed the book off of her desk and brought it to Spike. "look" She said "As soon as i opened the book, I saw this inside." Spike stared at the book, as if trying to figure out what the goop was. "i wonder!" He explained... "What! What!?" Twilight asked exitedly "Never mind...", he said "its useless" and he walked away on Twilight leaving her to herself.
"now what?...", asked Twilight to herself. Then she got an idea. It was so simple, but it was just perfect for her task. "how could i not have thought of this before!?!" she screamed "this is BRILLIANT!"

Well... thats the end of chapter 2... I'm actually enjoying writhing this. Its my first fimfiction i have written, and i don't know if you've noticed, but i'm not neccecarily the best with paragraphs... oops. Oh well. The stories still seem the same. Thumbs up and comment if you enjoyed. Thumbs down if you didn't like it. I cool wit dat.
The six stones glowed bright in the dark of night. Twilight had to bring the rocks to the lab at night or else somepony else might see her and steal them.
As soon as she got to the lab, she was almost red from running. She realised that she had been holding her breath the entire had been holding her breath the entire time. She set the six rocks down on her desk. "The elements of harmony...", she whispered to herself. The elements had to help Celestia out. They were possibly the most powerfull items in Equestria.
She didn't have much time. Celestia was getting older by the minute.
Twilight's horn began to glow bright purple, and so did the elements. They slowly started to crack, more and more by the second. They glowed brighter and brighter untill they where a blinding white color. She quickly grabbed a glass jar from her desk, horn still glowing, and placed it beneath the elements. She closed her eyes untill a loud piercing noise rebounded through the lab. When she opened her eyes, the jar was now full of a strange, dark red liquid, similar to the color of blood. The liquid also seemed to be steaming. It was a good thing she had learnt liquification spells.
Now all she needed to do was add all of the sciency ingredients. A familiar zebra came to mind, and she trotted out of the lab, and towards the everfree forest. It was time to visit Zecora.

The lab was quiet and still. All that could be heard was a small whirring sound, coming from a computer in the center of the room. It could be seen by all the ponies around, about ten of them in total. It held an image of a very old pony who looked to be about the age of seventy.
"Who will rule... after my passing?", she asked in a surprisingly young sounding voice. "My sister Luna does not yet understand the works of raising both the sun and the moon." She looked down regrettingly and addmited, "i was too busy with twilight to ever teach her..."
One of the lab ponies, wearing a lab coat, and green protective glasses, looked around at the others and said to the older pony "i'm not sure... but, Celestia... Why do you ask us?" celestia smiled and addmited "you are all very smart... you weren't chosen to be science ponies for nothing. If i do recall, are you all unicorns?" The ten ponies nodded to her. "Good" She replied "we may not only need the help of science on this, but also the help of magic. Would you ponies be willing to do a favor for me? I can tell you now, it will NOT be easy."
The ten ponies huddled in a group, whispering to each other and finaly they came up with their answer. The same pony as before stepped up infront of the group and said in the most couragous voice as he could manage, "y-yes my q-queen... we shall... uh... help you... i guess..." He tried to smile but all that came out was a wobbly, awkward smile. "thank you brave ponies, err, unicorns. Now listen carefully, i want you to create a medecine that will make us ponies live longer and if possible, forever."
The ponies remained silent mouths opened slightly, agahst of what she had just said."but Celestia... isn't that, well, impossible?", asked a rather bright purple unicorn. Celestia smiled and replied, "Well i have the power to raise the sun and the moon. Most unicorns already have the power to teleport. Do you really think that this is impossible? No. Not if we all put our power together." The purple pony just shrugged and looked away.
Sorry this chapter is so short... My laptop was about to run out of battery and if i hadn't saved it then i would have lost the story and i would have had to re-write it. The familiar smell of hay and cough syrup is what drove twilight towrds Zecora's tree. She had been there only a few times but the smell was unnimaginably strong, and pretty easy to remember.
She began pounding her hoof on Zecora's door yelling "ZECORA OPEN UP. THIS IS URGENT", every couple seconds. Eventually she opened up the door. Twilght was surprised to find her hair muffled and her eyes bright red.
"What do you need, my pony friend?" asked Zecora in a tired voice. "Are you alright?" asked twilight. "your eyes are... a liiiiitle red..."
"oh i'm alright Twilight. Thanks for your concern though."
"are you sure?...."
"yes... yes... just not enough sleep last night. Celestia asked me to do an erand for her and its been taking me a while to figure out, thats all..."
"wait... Celestia asked you to run an errand for her? She asked the entire crew at CelestaLAB Science industries to run an errand for her too!"
"CelestaLAB Science Industries?... Oh thats right! Your new job! I had forgotten about all that! How has that gone so far?"
"Listen, im sorry Zecora but i don't have time to talk about my job right now. I need to ask you something... but before i do, What did celestia ask you?"
"Oh! right! Cestia has asked me to formulate a potion to make ponies last longer.or nearly forever if possible. Is that what she asked you?"
"Yes! Yes thats exactly what she asked of us!! I think i may have solved it, but first, i need to know one more thing, and i think you might be able to help."
"Alright. Tell me what i need to know"
Twilight explained how she had liquified the elements of harmony since there wasn't much conflict going on in Equestria anymore.They where pretty much useless, but now they could finnaly be used for something.
"Zecora, I think that the elixor is missing something. I had a strange feeling that you would know what it was."
"ah yes. I do know one of the things. But are you sure that you want to know what it is?" Zecoras face was very serious.
"uh... ya? I guess..."
"Twilight, try not to overreact, but what you need, is a heart of a preferably young dragon. Please Twi... Twilight? no no no... Don't faint now Twilight!..."
Everything was spinning in Twilights head... A heart... of a dragon? And a young one too? How would she explain this to spike?
Pain began welling up inside Twilight. She couldn't hear anything Zecora was saying and when she tried to make a noise, all that came out was a ruffled wheeze. Everything was starting to go black beside her eyes. She knew she was going to faint. It was almost impossible to restrain anyways.
Then there it was. That odd falling feeling of her conciousness sweeping into oblivion...
