Meanwhile Sonic and Tails were catching up to the ship. Sonic looked up and saw a window in perfect range to jump and smash it open! Then Eggman’s voice was broadcasted over the loudspeakers. “So you managed to catch up hedgehog? Very good! Now let’s see you get past another one of my friends!” Suddenly a black and dark blue unicorn/Pegasus hovered in front of Sonic! Nightmare Moon!! “So, YOU are the legendary Sonic the Hedgehog, I presume. Well did I mention that I’m one of the royal princesses of Equestria?” Sonic stared in utter shock. “I had a feeling you would do that. So let’s see if you can survive ROYALTY! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!” She laughed. Meanwhile Twilight and the others were watching through a glass window from their cell in an energy harnessing deck on the ship. “SONIC!” Everyone exclaimed with joy as they saw the Blue Blur gaining on the ship but gasped when Nightmare Moon appeared. “Well I have to admit Eggman, Your friend is pretty charming but if she’s with you, then I’m taking her down!” Sonic exclaimed. “Hey don’t leave me out! I’m with ya bro!” Tails said. “Alright! Let’s do this!” Sonic exclaimed. Nightmare charged at Sonic with her horn pointed at him but Sonic Side-Step Dodged it! Now it was pointed at Tails! He managed to fly over just in time. Twilight and the others cheered for Sonic and Tails. Then Suddenly out of nowhere, multiple missiles fired from the ship and aimed at Sonic! He managed to Boost and plow them over before they hit! Eggman was helping Nightmare! Twilight wanted to help but it was no use: the entire ship was magic-proof! Sonic knew he didn’t stand a chance against the 2. Suddenly inside the cell where the ponies were, Rarity noticed that the glass door was starting to melt! “Is it just me or is the glass melting?” she wondered as everypony turned to look. Suddenly a hole appeared in the melted glass and on the other side was… “SPIKE!?!?!?!?!” they exclaimed. “Spike! How in Equestria did you get here!?” Twilight Exclaimed. “Well, remember when that Egg-freak attacked with that big arm robot? Well I looked at Tails’ GPS and I found him in the Everfree forest and managed to sneak into his and followed him in here!” Spike explained. “Oh my little Spikey-Wikey! That’s a good boy!” Rarity said as she gave Spike a kiss on the cheek! Spike blushed. “Let’s bail!” Exclaimed Pinkie. Everyone rushed out and made their way to the sky deck, just in time to see a missile launch from a turret and land a direct hit on Sonic luckily Tails caught him just before he could fall to the ground and lose pace with the ship. “SONIC!” Twilight yelled to get Sonic’s attention. He ran to the side of the ship and saw her. Nightmare Moon didn’t notice. Twilight mouthed that she would take out the cannons while Sonic defeats Nightmare. He understood. Twilight, Spike and the others rushed to the turrets to take them out. “Ok! Rainbow Dash, you distract the cannon’s cameras while Applejack, Spike, and I destroy the cannons.” “I’m on it!” Rainbow replied then flew off in the direction of the turrets. “Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, you girls stay here and cheer Sonic on.” Twilight instructed as she and the other 2 rushed off to dismantle the cannons. Meanwhile up on the main control room, Eggman was watching Sonic’s fight through a security monitor. “HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO! That hedgehog is starting to wear out! I think I finally won!!” Eggman gloated. “YOUR GENIOUS IS BRILLIANCE BOSS! GOOD JOB!” Uttered Orbot as he clapped for him, secretly he was waiting for his plan to get a dent. And he was right when they both heard an explosion! “Cubot check the ship’s status!” Eggman ordered as Cubot pressed a button on the control panel. He read the data: “Ship appears intact, main engines working properly, fuel is halfway full, … Cannons are unresponsive and damaged” Orbot said. Eggman was shocked. “WHAT?! Impossible! Those cannons are practically indestructible! How is it possible that they…..WHAT?!?!?!” Eggman looked on a security monitor and want slack-jaw! There in the cannon deck was Twilight, Applejack, and Spike ripping the turrets apart! “WHAT THE!!!! HOW DID THEY ESCAPE!?!?!? Wait!” He exclaimed then took a closer look at the screen to see what looked like a little purple and green baby dragon. “Hmm… That’s weird… what’s with that dragon thing. Wait a minu…. ITS HELPING THEM!!! GRRRRR! I knew something was up! And the dragon helped them escape! And now those little pests of ponies are helping that hedgehog! ORBOT!! Send out the Egg-pawns!” He ordered as the robot turned on the intercom. “ATTENTION! ROBOT REINFORCEMENTS ARE NEEDED ON THE SKY DECK IN THE TURRET SECTION! WE NEED BOTH FLYING AND GUARD DRONES!” Meanwhile, Nightmare Moon was getting worn out and if Sonic managed to land one more hit, she will be defeated. “How fast is this hedgehog?!” She uttered. “Faster than sound!” Sonic gloated as he landed an air-borne kick on Nightmare! She then turned into a cloud of purple smoke and bolted to the ship’s main control room. “HAHA! We did it! THANKS GIRLS!” Sonic yelled but no response… “Tails.” Sonic said. “Hang on.” Tails said as he lifted Sonic up on to the ship. Sonic then ran to the sky deck. When he got there he took one look then sprang into action! Twilight and the others had been captured by the Egg-pawns! It took 10 seconds before Sonic destroyed all of them! “Thanks Sonic! And awesome job! You defeated Nightmare Moon!” Twilight said. “No prob. And awesome job to you too! You saved me from those cannons! Besides being out numbered is no fair at all! I owe you one!” Sonic said as Tails landed. Then he noticed Spike. “Well who’s this I don’t believe we’ve met yet!” “I’m Spike! I’m Twilight’s #1 Assistant/Best friend. And who are you?” Spike said. “I’m Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog! The fastest thing alive! The Blue Blur! Nice to meet you Spike! And this is MY #1 Assistant/Best friend, Tails.” Sonic introduced. “Hey Tails!” Spike and Tails shook hands. “Nice to meet you” Tails said. “Now that we’ve all met, let’s bring this flying death trap down!” Pinkie said. “Right!” Sonic exclaimed. He was about to run off and take the ship down when the alarms started blaring!” Uh oh! I think Eggman found us!” Tails said. And he was right! “You’d think I’d let you off that easy, Sonic and Friends? HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!” Eggman laughed then suddenly, cannons, lasers, guns, and turrets were all pointed at the group! Sonic sprang into action and blasted every weapon into oblivion! Spike went slack. “WHOA! THAT WAS AWESOME!!!” He exclaimed as Sonic landed right in front of him! “Pretty slick move huh?” Sonic said. “Got anymore toys Eggman! Sonic Mocked. He then looked up and went slack jaw! “The Egg Fleet!”
