The Egg Fleet

“The Egg Fleet!” Sonic exclaimed! Suddenly Eggman rose from the floor through a platform “HOHOHOHOHOHO!! That’s right Hedgehog! It’s back! And just like Big Arm 2, it has more upgrades!” Eggman gloated. Twilight and the others looked up to see the huge army of Eggman’s ships hovering overhead. Fluttershy and Spike hid behind Sonic. “PSSHH! No biggie! I destroyed it before and I can destroy it again Eggman!” Sonic exclaimed. Well, let’s see about that if you can catch it!” Eggman said as he threw a lever next to him then suddenly Sonic, Tails, and the others were launched into the air! “WHAAAAAOOOOOOHH!!!!” they all yelled as they were propelled off the ship landing hard on the ground! Everyone recovered and got to their feet/hooves. “Everybody ok?” Tails asked. “Yeah. Yes. I’m ok. I’m good.” Everyone replied. Meanwhile Eggman’s ship was speeding away and started going higher and higher. Rainbow Dash was about to chase after it when Sonic stopped her. “Just ignore him. Besides he doesn’t even have any access to the elements’ power! Hahaha!” “Well that is true but I have a feeling he will come after us again!” Applejack said. “Don’t worry! Remember you’ve got me on your side!” Sonic reassured her. “So Tails  where is that Baldy Mc-nose-hair?” Sonic asked. “Uh Sonic, I think I dropped it somewhere!! My GPS!” Tails exclaimed. “WHAT!?!?” everyone shouted. “Oh is that what this thing is? I found it on the ground on the ship.” Spike said. “That’s it!! Thanks! Without you, Twilight and the others would still be trapped on the ship and Sonic would’ve lost to that Nightmare Moon!” Tails said. Spike blushed. “Aw thanks Tails! Your turn Sonic.” Spike said. “So Tails what does that GPS thing say now?” asked Fluttershy. “Well, it says here his Egg Fleet’s heading to a place near Ponyville. Canterlot.” Then Rarity bumped Tails off and managed to get a clear look at the GPS. “Canterlot?!?! NO!!! It’s one of my favorite places to go! The glamour! The sophistication! I’m a Canterlot pony at heart! If he dares destroy it, it’s like destroying half my heart!” She exclaimed while levitating the GPS with her horn. “Don’t worry if he wants to destroy anywhere, he’s gonna have to go through me! Besides if does manage to destroy it, it’s not like there’s anything super important there!” Sonic joked which reminded Twilight of something! “Princess Celestia!!!!! She lives in Canterlot!!!!” “Ok that’s one good reason to save that town! Let’s go!” Sonic said worriedly. Without another word, Sonic and Rainbow Dash Bolted off to catch up with the ship, but an explosion stopped them dead in their tracks. Eggman’s ship burst into flames and began descending rapidly then impacting the ground in a fiery explosion! Coincidentally, 7 multi-colored diamond emeralds rolled towards Sonic’s feet and stopped “T-The Chaos Emeralds!” Sonic exclaimed as he picked up a blue emerald and studied it. Tails and the rest of the group gathered around to take a look at the mysterious multi-colored gemstones. Spike took one look and instantly became infatuated! His tongue reached out to take a lick when Twilight lifted him up and away from the emeralds. Everyone then turned to the wreckage of Eggman’s ship to see him emerging covered in exhaust from the ships engine. His clothes were ripped and tattered. “(Coughing) Curse you Sonic! I don’t know how you did it, but you managed to bring my ship down!! No matter! I still have enough energy from the emeralds and the elements to commence phase 2 of my plan!” he gloated. Sonic and the others were confused. How did he even manage to get energy from the Elements of Harmony? “How did you even get energy from the elements?” Twilight asked. “Somehow, I knew you’d say that! Well, remember when I ordered my robots to taze you? Well those robots can also suck energy from any living thing! So I was able to suck your abilities with the elements! Oh which reminds me, I won’t be needing these anymore!” Eggman said as he tossed the Elements to the group. “oh and don’t worry! Ill go get permission from the fair ruler of this whole land, Princess Celestia!!” He exclaimed sarcastically. “WHAT?!” Twilight yelled. Then everyone noticed Eggman’s mobile emerging from the wreck with Orbot in the cockpit. “Your carriage awaits boss.” He said. “Hasta la Bye-Bye Suckers!” Eggman hollered as he got in the mobile and flew off. Twilight went into full panic mode! “OH MY GOSH!!! This is bad! So bad! Princess! Celestia! Eggman! Permission!” She panicked then fainted! “Not on MY watch!” Sonic protested as he ran off to catch up to Eggman
