(Note: This story is far more light hearted than the description lets on, and will contain anthropomorphized Twilight and love scenes in LATER chapters.)

They came in great ships of cold steel and circuits, gliding across the void, laying claim to the empty rocks that seemed to fill the universe. But this world was different: it held life. Now Equestria and all of Equuis must contend with creatures from storybooks and fireside tales that came from beyond the stars, bringing with them strange and unknowable magics, arcane technology, and alien thoughts. These 'humans', so different from the myths and legends and yet so similar, send one of their own to live amongst ponykind, to learn their ways whilst teaching them his. Unfortunately, they picked the strangest and most alien being from among their number, a man named Phil, in which whose blood flows a maddening and terrifying power which could be the doom or salvation of the ponies' little world. Twilight must show this human life amongst the ponies, while plans of conquest and war from their own world are set in motion from the humans' arrival. In the end, Equestria's doom may not come from political foes or at the guns of alien conquerers, but from an ancient shadow awakening in the deeps, in whose gnarled hands once rested the fate of the multiverse…….
