Forgotten Intentions

The only thing Felix expected was to be left alone.

His introvertedness was the only quality others saw in him. He didn't care.

He would probably have gone insane if it was not for this new lifestyle he had adopted. Being a brony made life almost bearable.

Little did he know, his life was about to take a turn.

And knowledge of "irrelevant" and "fictional" things, places, and ponies could be the only thing that kept him going.

Whisked Away: Chapter 1: Forgotten Intentions.

For Felix it was another dreary day.

Same School.

Same Friends.

Same Family.

Same Life.

But, in a way, he was fortunate. Life asked for very little. Felix was a thin boy, just over the age of fourteen. He was little over six feet tall, and he had long, blonde hair. some people said that his outside the box thinking got him out of many difficult situations.

That was yet to be seen.

Felix enjoyed being around nature. Especially during Autumn. The dazzling shades of orange, red, and gold made Felix think just a little bit more about his point in life. He found himself among nature more often than around friends, which was odd for a boy his age. But the truth was, and is, just that. He was odd. Different. Sure, it left him excluded at social gatherings, but that was what he wanted. to be alone.

Felix left on his bike towards the nearest nature park, lost in thought. He wandered aimlessly among the trees, waving between them skillfully. His A.D.D prevented him from extreme bouts of concentration, but little concentration was needed. It was just another nature ride, right?

Wrong.

The first sign that Felix noticed that something was amiss was that he was shaking. Violently. His mind was reeling. It can't be wind, and I can't feel anything cold. what's going on?" He whispered to himself. Dismissing it as paranoia, he kept going. But, a few seconds later, he was stopped cold in his tracks. He could see, or at least he thought he could see, A forest. not the Autumn-tinted forest around him, but a forebodeing place. His head started pounding. This was something more than natural. more than fictional. Felix collapsed off his bike onto the road. His vision started darkening. He struggled against it, but he couldn't resist the cold, dark embrace of sleep.

His vision blackened until he could see no more.

Felix tried to imagine how long he was out for. Hours? Days? Months? He couldn't even begin to wrap his head around what happened.

But he did wake up.

In the foreboding forest.

As he scrambled drowsily to his feet, the only thing that were immediately brought to his attention were the strange undergrowth. Roots were snaking across the ground like tentacles. The only light source was a weird, glowing flower. Felix decided it was best to get out of the forest before something happened. This seems like the Everfree forest. He joked to himself.

He had no idea how right he was.

He also had no idea that something was watching him.

And it was preparing to strike.
