The Only Love

Chapter One > Head Pains

Only one pony knows my story, her name is Fluttershy. She found me, laying in her garden. From what she told me, I was asleep for 4 days, unable to awake.

The night I finally awoke, I was laying on a small couch in a familiar looking room. I started to panic, this wasn't familiar as in home, but in stranger.

“Hello?” I said softly

No response.

“Anyone there?” A little louder this time.

A very soft voice from behind me said “Hi...”

I knew that voice too well, was it real? Or was it a messed up dream?

“Ar-are you ok?”

“I don't belong here.”

That was the last thing I said before my world went black.

The Next time my eyes opened, I was looking at a golden-gray face with a beautiful pair of turquoise eyes, partly covered with light pink hair.

“Please, don't leave!”

The Pegasus pleaded

“Wha-what happened?”

“You fainted, you were asleep for sometime.”

“How long-” A sharp pain appeared on the back of my head. “Arg, how long was I out?”

“About 4 days, Don't your remember?

“No, I was in the hospital an hour ago.”

“But, I found you in my garden...”

Something very bad happened and I started to panic again. “Calm down” I said to myself. First, get something in your stomach, then think.

“Sorry if I startled you, I just...” Her voice trailed off.

“No, its alright, Really.”

I looked at the Pegasus, still stuck in her beautiful eyes.

“Are you hungry?” She asked, almost like she read my mind.

“Actually, yea.”

She rushed into her kitchen, she came back with a bowl of salad and a glass of water, all on her back.

“Eat up!”

I picked the food and drink up. Normally I don't eat salad, but the way she looked at me, it made me forget.

“By the way, my name is Fluttershy.”

“Tristan, thank you.”

The salad tasted different from what I hated back home. I liked it.
