Chapters Tournament of the Wraiths
For the past couple of days, the Wraiths were lounging around Ponyville due to a lack of missions, and general convenience. Dean was busy pestering the locals. James and Amy had decided to give Appleloosa a break from James’ horrendously bad luck by traveling with Braeburn to visit his cousins. Sarah, Arlosia and Jav had stopped by to say hi to Dean and kick James in the balls if she found him again.
Alex was… well... being Alex by cheering on O’Leary as he was winning a drinking contest against most of the town at the bar. Kate was helping Fluttershy take care of some animals, with Father Johan’s help. Michael was at the library trying not to go insane by meditating, while Jay was reading some Daring Do books on the couch. Tech was training out in the fields with Rainbow Dash watching.
But you don’t actually care about that do you? So let’s take a closer look at what shenanigans these Maniacs have managed to pull off so far.
~~~Dean, James, & Amy~~~
Dean was walking over towards Sweet Apple Acres to see if Applejack needed ‘help’ with anything, when he heard some commotion from the other side of the barn.
“A-Amy, is this really necessary?”
“Shut it James and hold still, it’s hard to aim with you moving around.”
Dean hid behind the trees as he made his way over to the duo. He peeked around the corner and saw that James was tied to one of the barrels and had an apple tied to the top of his head, while his sister Amy was trying to shoot it off with her bow. The misses she had were only by an inch or less and, luckily for James, were not in his general direction.
“But do you really need to use ME as a prop for your targets? There are apples EVERYWHERE for Christ’s sake! Shoot one of them!” Amy smiled a sickly innocent smile.
“Death said that we needed to work on our accuracy, though I’m pretty sure that was directed more towards you than me.” James was struggling against the ropes in a vain attempt at escape.
“And like dad always said, ‘anyone can shoot an apple that’s hanging from a branch; A real marksman can shoot one off of a man’s head’, but seeing as the only one here that I can use is you, I’ll just have to settle for that.” Amy fired another arrow and hit the apple dead center, splitting it in half. Dean grinned as he prepared for his entrance.
“‘WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM’ KICK!!” Dean flew into the area and landed his attack right into James’ face. Time seemed to slow down as his skin rippled from the impact around Dean’s feet before he was sent rolling down the hill screaming. Amy stared at Dean as he stood where her brother just was. Dean smiled and turned to the dumbfounded woman. “Worth it.” Amy smiled as she shook off her surprise and gave Dean a high five.
“Totally, and I can safely say I wasn’t expecting that.” They began walking towards town talking about the latest adventures they’ve had as they watched James scream and roll into the distance.
~~~Father Johon & Kate~~~
Kate leaned down and held some seeds out for some birds. A cardinal landed on her wrist and began to eat out of her hand. Fluttershy came out from her house with a fresh bag of animal food for the other critters, and Johon was inside tending to some injured ferrets. Kate stood up and was petting the bird when screaming could be heard in the distance. Confused, she and Fluttershy looked in the general direction of Sweet Apple Acres and saw a brown dot growing in the distance.
The scream grew louder as the dot grew bigger and passed by heading for the Everfree forest. Shortly after, Dean and Amy came walking down the road. Dean was laughing his ass off.
“Oh wow, he’s still going.” Kate walked over and stared in the direction the brown dot traveled with concern written on her face. Johon leaned out of the window with a ferret on his shoulder looking down the road then back to Dean.
“Dean, what was that?” A loud roar could be heard from the forest and the dot form earlier shot into the air. They all watched as the spec screamed through the air before landing in Ponyville. Amy shook her head and started walking again.
“Come on Dean, Let’s make sure he’s still alive.” She stopped and turned to Johon. “We’re probably going to need your help with this.” Johon sighed and came out of the cottage. Kate and Fluttershy looked at each other confused before following the rest.
~~~Sarah, Valentine, & Arlosia~~~
Sarah was walking down the path to Ponyville with Arlosia riding on her shoulder and Jav walking to her right. They were passing the fields outside and saw some douche doing pushups with a rainbow maned pegasus hovering over him. She decided to ignore him as she got a weird feeling. Like she needed to hurt someone that was nearby. Looking up she saw a brown dot flying through the air screaming before it crashed into the town.
“Arlosia, Hang on.” Sarah began running as she was lured into town by the mysterious flying object. Jav said nothing as he followed her. They had reached a bar and found a pit full of splinters that was in the shape of James. And leading away, were drag marks. Jav decided to speak up.
“The hunt is afoot.” Arlosia was barely hanging on as Sarah charged in the direction of the tracks. Jav calmly followed with a smile on his face.
~~~Alex & O’Leary~~~
Ponies were cheering on O’Leary as he chugged his ninety-ninth pint of beer, Alex had resorted to taking bets from others and had somehow managed to collect a pretty hefty sum. The contestant, the workhorse Big Macintosh, sat across from him and was swaying back and forth even more than a see-saw. Before anyone could blink Big Mac tipped backwards and went out like a light. The crowd went wild as Alex handed back money, only one person in the bar did not join in.
“Aww but I wanted me hundredth pint!” Alex chuckled and stood on one of the tables.
“Do ya want to see this man ‘ere drink a hundred pints of beer!” The ponies started chanting.
“Hundred pints, hundred pints!”
“Well then, lets give ’im a hundred pints!” Reaching to his side he pulled out something that looked a lot like a small fridge. Opening it he pulled out a cup that contained a very strange looking drink.
“Laddies, I introduce you to a very special drink. This is called the Mysterious Fermented Liquid. I have no idea what’s in it, but one sip got me so drunk I forgot the rest of the week!” He placed it in front of O’Leary. “Drink up lad, it’s good for you!”
Smiling O’Leary picked up the drink and brought it up to his mouth and chugged the whole thing. The bar was silent until O’Leary hiccuped and fell on his face, out cold. Alex simply shook his head.
“He must have been nuts to drink the whole damn thing. Well show’s over folks, time for me to bring this guy home!” Alex picked up O’Leary by the arm and left the bar, carefully stepping over the unconscious drunks that littered the floor. As he got outside, a brownish blur crashed into the ground. When the dust settled, there was an imprint of a man that was three feet deep, and filled with splinters of wood and metal.
“Ah James, I see ye decided to drop in.” A groan could be heard from the crater.
“That was a horrible pun Alex.”
“You know ye like it. Anyways care to help a young man drag this irish buffoon back to the library?” James slowly got out of the hole wincing as he moved.
“What did he do?” Alex looked back at O’Leary and poked his side.
“He thought it would be a good idea to drink the most powerful drink in Azeroth after ninety nine pints of beer.” James just blinked.
“He’s not going to be happy when he wakes up is he?”
“Nope, not one bit. Now could you grab his other arm, he’s really heavy.” James made his way over to O’Leary’s side and hoisted him up. The trio then departed for Twilight’s library.
~~~Michael & Jay~~~
The library was silent as the two wraiths sat inside. Michael had finally gotten over his mental breakdown and resorted to reading a book on metallurgy. Meanwhile, Jay was sitting on a the stairs as he read the fifth book in the Daring Do series.
“This Daring Do character is quite fascinating.” Michael simply stared.
“She’s illogical.” Jay smiled and began laughing as Twilight came down the stairs.
“Not in this world she ain’t” Michael’s eye twitched.
“‘Ain’t’ is not a word, I swear you should have learned this in middle school.” Twilight looked at the duo and sighed. They’d been doing this for the last five hours. She had sent Spike over to help Rarity just to keep him at a safe distance incase Michael went nuts. There was a knock on the door and Michael looked up from his book.
“I got it.” Standing up he set the book down and pulled the door open, revealing James and Alex as they walked in dragging an unconscious O’Leary behind them. Alex spoke up.
“What’s up bitches, it is I. Theodore Roosevelt, you can call me Teddy.” James facepalmed and dragged O’Leary to the couch next to Jay, collapsing next to the drunk Irishman.
“Damn James, what happened to you?” James groaned in pain as he popped his back, sounding more like a machine gun than a spine.
“Don’t ask...Just...Don’t ask.” Suddenly the window shattered as Sarah jumped through and quickly kicked James in the balls, sending him crashing into the ceiling as he cried out a feeble ‘why’.
“Found you.” Turning around Sarah suddenly hugged Alex. As Twilight seemed to be twitching along side Michael.
“What did you do to my window!”
“And how the fuck did you jump up two stories?!” Panting could be heard from the stairs as Arlosia had just gotten up the stairs and was staring at the scene. Suddenly Sarah started hugging her leaving Alex to gasp for air. James was peeling himself from the ceiling and landed with a thud on the ground. He groaned with even more pain as he turned to Michael.
“I’ve learned that with Sarah, ‘If there’s a will, there’s a way.’ and she will ALWAYS find a way.” He winced as he stood up “Especially when it involves my pain.” Sarah smiled and stared at James with a dark gleam in her eyes.
“Of course, you simply ask for it.” Before anyone could continue Alex cleared his throat.
“I don’t mean to interrupt but where in the Twisting Nether is Dean?” James thought for a moment before turning to the insane wizard.
“Judging by my trajectory and my path of painful travel. I’d say he’s around the fields outside of Ponyville in the direction of Fluttershy’s cottage.” everyone stared at him with mixed expressions of awe and confusion. “What? Just cause I’ve been hit in the head over a hundred times mean I can’t be smart?” Alex blinked, then grinned evilly.
“Well then hold on, I’ll get us to him in a jiffy.”
~~~Tech~~~
The field was littered with broken pieces of wood as Tech was in the center completing his hundredth sit-up. Rainbow Dash watched from above, impressed that he had managed to last this long without collapsing from exhaustion.
“You done down there?” Tech stopped and looked up to see Rainbow sitting on her cloud. He waved and she glided down.
“Almost, I still have another twenty to go.” Tech finished his rep and got up. “Then I got a few more things to break.” He gestured over to the remaining targets and training dummies. Before Rainbow could retort Dean came up from the other hill, followed by Kate, Amy, Johon, and Fluttershy. Dean waved at him.
“Hey Tech, what are you doing!”
“Just training, hey do you know what that screaming was earlier?” Amy laughed.
“Oh that was just James, I wonder where he landed?” Just as she finished that sentence a flash came from their left, Alex stood there surrounded by Twilight; Michael; Sarah; Arlosia; Jav; O’Leary on a couch; James, And Jay. With Alex looking like he about to pass out.
“I hate mass teleportation.” James looked like he was about to lose his lunch.
“Me too bro, me too. I think he left my stomach back at the library.” Twilight stared at Alex in awe.
“How did you do that, I can’t even do that!?” Alex chuckled softly.
“Years of drinking Crystal Pepsi my friend. I need food.” Reaching to his side he pulled out what appeared to be a small glowing ball, he then shoved it into his mouth. Dean stared at him.
“You saved a soul?” Alex smiled.
“Multiple.” Before Dean could respond Rainbow spoke up.
“That was awesome! I’ve never seen anypony teleport that far! You must be really powerful to do that.” Before Alex could talk Sarah pushed Rainbow in the thigh.
“Bullshit! I’m the most powerful one here!” Dean stepped up.
“No fucking way, I am!” James, the idiot that he is, interrupted both of them.
“You’re both wrong, I clearly am the strongest one here!” Before anyone had time to blink Sarah, Dean, and Alex kicked James in the balls at the same time. It was about then Death showed up, while James was muttering something about ‘deserving that’.
“What seems to be the issue? I could hear you from MY realm.” At once every wraith went on a speal about who was strongest. Death snapped his fingers and they all became silent. “So you all want to know who is the strongest?” Everyone nodded (Except O’Leary, Still drunk) and Death smiled.
“Then I have just the idea. How about a tournament?” Everyone looked confused while Death just beckoned them to follow. “Hmm, If this is going to work then we’re going to need someplace to do this.” Death turned to the field and smiled “This will do nicely.”
~~~The ARENA~~~
Using his power, Death made an arena for the tournament to take place in. The large building consumed most of the field that was before them, and was three stories high. He turned around and smiled at everyone.
“Would you like a tour?” The wraiths looked at each other before following him inside. The halls for the contestants were blocked by a forcefield that prevented any who weren’t in the battles from entering, While spectators had paths leading to concession stands and betting tables. Death lead the group to the stands and Dean let out a whistle.
“Damn, this place is HUGE!” There were thousands of seats surrounding a circular, half-a-town sized arena that were protected with a similar forcefield to the ones from before. Some of the spots had HD displays hanging from the forcefield and there were eight VIP boxes set up along the seats, the northernmost box was even decked out to royal standards for the princesses. There were also cloud seats for pegasi.The battlefield itself was just some grass from the field that used to be there.
“It will be more interesting when the battles take place.” As if to emphasize his point, Death snapped his fingers and the grass was replaced with rubble, then some small buildings, then molten rock before turning back to grass. If Sarah’s face could have gotten paler, it would have along with the others (except O’Leary who was still drunk) as she turned to Death. She was about to say something when Twilight beat her to the punch.
“IS THAT EVEN LEGAL!?” Death just laughed and looked at the ponies.
“Don’t worry about anything, the forcefield will keep you and your friends safe and none of the contestants will be fatally injured. Any injuries received in battle will be taken care of with the most delicate care, the most I’ll let happen is a severed limb or two. I’m not even going to use the lava pit. Anyways I’m giving you all three days to decide who will be participating. If you would like to, return that spot there in the arena.” Death pointed to a glowing circle in the center of the arena that had become a podium. “Until then, I suggest you start training.” Death left the dumbfounded wraiths and ponies with no more than a poof.
Three days passed and the ten wraiths that had decided to participate returned to the arena. Kate didn’t want to from the beginning and Sarah wouldn’t allow Arlosia cause she was only twelve, she also made sure that Jav would watch over her. Word had spread and ponies from all over were coming to see ‘the battles of the century’. Ponies were pitching tents outside with merchandise of the participants ranging from Dean plushies to James salt shakers that didn’t want to stay upright for some reason. At the center of the arena, Dean, James, Amy, Tech, Michael, Sarah, Johon, Alex, Jay, and O’Leary were standing in front of Death, who had taken the pleasure of putting on a referee shirt that was three sizes too small and was sitting at a table with Pinkie and for some reason Louis Cypher who were there to add commentary. Pinkie suddenly jumped to her mic while drawing in a large breath.
“GOOOOOOOD MORNING EVERYPONY!! Welcome to the first ever Wraith Fighting Tournament Extravaganza!” Death grabbed a microphone that stood next to him and addressed the competitors.
“Are you all who have decided to fight?” Everyone gave a nod and Death made a monitor appear behind him. Louis Cypher grabbed his mike and stood on the table.
“Let’s introduce the competitors!” Louis pointed at the group starting from left to right. As he said their name they appeared on the displays that littered the area above the arena for the spectators on the higher levels.
“First we have The Glacier, The Ivory Fucker, Don Marcelo, That One Asshole, and The Soul Reaver, Dean Marcelo!” Dean waved to the crowd and cheers erupted. Twilight seemed to be cheering the loudest.
“Next we have Stoner Jesus, and The Stone, Jay!” Most of the ponies were confused at who Jesus was before more cheers came from the crowd.
“To his right we have,The Storm, and The Rapid Fister, Techno Bassboost! Who the fuck has the name Bassboost?” Luna cheered slightly louder at the mention of Tech.
"Next is, The Priest, Johon!" Some of the ponies cheered.
“Next up is The Irish Inferno, The Drunk Bastard, Disco Man, Fairies Pimp, The Burning Sociopath, and The Flame, James O’Leary!” Every drunk in the stands cheered.
“And after him is He Who Has Put His Dick in Everything, The Sunderer (Don't Ask About it), Everything Wrong in Existence, Mistake of the Century, That Asshole Who Ruined the Universe(s), Timekeeper's Employee of the Forever, Lich King's Maker, Monster Factory, Father of All Evil, Man of a Thousand STDs, Bringer of the Burning Legion, Azeroth's Pimp, Murphy's Bitch, The Biggest Fuck-Up in Existence, Worst Drunk in Known History, Moron That'll Fuck Just About Anything, and The Scottish Buffoon, Alexander Harris! Damn that mage is awesome.” Dean’s eye twitched and Celestia cried out a shocked ‘What!?’ as Louis finished. Alex then called out.
“Only two of those titles are fake.” At that every single being in the arena was looking at him in quiet fear.
“Next is The Psycho Lesbian, That One Bitch, Patchwork, Pin Cushion, PMS Everyday, Cavernous Deeps, and The Shadow, Sarah!” Most of the ponies were cheering out of the mandatory need to cheer for a competitor and the fear that if they didn’t she’d find them.
Our next competitor is The Punching Bag, The Failure, He Who is Blamed for All, Sarah's Hacky Sack, Tool, The Nutless One, Canadian Idiot, and The Sun Soldier, James Hindenburg! Wow this guy... I have no words.” Only the ponies from Appleloosa were cheering immediately but the crowd eventually started cheering. Amy raised an eyebrow and turned to her brother
“Really?” James just gave an awkward grin and rubbed the back of his head.
“Next is The Logical One, The Master of Metal, All Logic All The Time, and The Tinman, Michael!” Cheers as were quite usual by now.
“And finally, we have The Unfortunate Sibling, Mistress of Wolves, and That Other Bitch, and The Moon Hunter, Amy Hindenburg!” Most of the crowd cheered for her and it wasn't anything special. Death waved his hand, causing the screen to change, the cards flipped and spun around the milky white background. A chart fazed in and the facedown cards took a spot at the bottom..
“The Rules are as follows. If you lose in one fight you will be sent to the loser’s bracket. If you lose a second time or forfeit, you will be disqualified.” Death pointed to the longer parts of the chart. ”Restrictions are not allowed in the lower fights, as you progress you will be allowed to use your higher caliber attacks, breaking this rule will have you removed from the battle. Whoever makes it to the Finals and wins is titled Champion.”
The wraiths started at the screen in Death Pointed his finger at the chart and the cards flipped over. The first rounds had been decided.
“What, I have to wait?” Sarah was looking at her spot on the chart. She and Jay had to wait for the first two rounds to be finished before they would even get to know who their opponents were. Death smiled and turned to her.
“There are ten of you. that doesn't come out as a perfect chart.” James was looking at his and Amy’s place on the chart. He was going to have to fight Michael and if he won that, Jay. Amy was going up against Dean her first round.
“Think we’ll be going up against each other Amy?”James noticed that if they both kept winning it would come to them duking it out.
“If it does comes to that, you better not hold back.” Amy put her hand on his shoulder. “And you better not throw any fights just to keep that from happening. If you do, I’ll kick your ass after the contest.” James gave her a quick nod in response. Dean and Jay were conversing about the matter in about the same way. Tech was glancing nervously at Sarah. O’Leary was somehow still drunk, but was able to stand at least. And Alex, seemed to be eating a piece of pie. Death made the chart vanish and the ground lit up showing the path to the locker rooms. Once the wraiths had left, he along with Pinkie and Louis all stood up and looked at the crowd.
“Without further ado, LET THE BATTLES BEGIN!” Confetti showered the audience and cheers rang through the arena. In the locker rooms the wraiths were conversing casually as they waited to be called forth. An announcement echoed from the arena.
“The first round of the competition, will be James vs. Michael!” The screen above the doorway soon flashed with James and Michael’s pictures. Meanwhile in the locker room, Michael grabbed his weapon from his seat and started walking to the door.
“Well looks like we’re up.” James followed shortly after checking his holsters and gave him a brofist.
“Yep, may the best man win.” The doorway closed after they had left and the wraiths were left in the room.

James whistled as he looked at the stands. The arena was packed even more than when he had first arrived. He was standing at the entrance to the arena and looked across from him. Michael was equally impressed.
“I didn’t think there would be so many showing up.” James looked at the VIP boxes and saw that Twilight and the others were with the Princesses. He also saw Braeburn and most of Appleloosa at one side of the seating on the second floor and gave a small wave. Braeburn noticed and waved back with a big smile. There were some ponies cheering for Michael as well, just not as many. Death appeared between them as they arrived at the center of the arena. He raised his hand and the area around them flashed white before settling into a flattened mountain top.
“This should be a good area for you to fight, considering your powers.” Michael whistled.
“Damn, nice place.” James gave Michael a brofist.
“We’re keeping this clean alright?” Michael smirked.
“Not like I need to cheat.” Death raised his hand once more
“Now are you two ready?” Both of them nodded their heads. “Alright then, Get ready.” Michael pushed the button on the handle, causing it to extend into a hammer. James drew his guns and formed them into the standard pistols. “BEGIN!” Death vanished and both competitors jumped back.

Rebel 1, Action!
(James vs. Michael Theme)
James fired a couple shots and was running around the edge of the mountain top. Michael deflected the shots with his hammer sending the bullets back at their sender. James made a quick turn jumping into the air, dodging the attack and heading straight for Michael.
Michael saw this and drew his hammer back as it became surrounded in dark energy. “Midnight Smash!”
With a swift motion Michael’s hammer connected with James’ kick, Rocketing the gunner high into the air.
~Meanwhile~
Sarah smirked as she watched James go flying.“Can’t believe he thought that would work.”
Amy smiled as she watched her brother flip through the air. “He didn’t.”
~Battlefield~
“Rapid Shot!” James pistols became a pair of TMPs and he got ready for his next move. “BULLETSTORM!” James spun in the air as he unleashed hell on Michael.
Michael smirked and raised his hands, where a disk of silver appeared. “Silver Shield!”
The bullets bounced off of the silver rocketing in every direction. A couple of them managed to hit James while the rest hit the forcefield. James slammed into the ground and slid across the ground for a moment before flipping to his feet. James winced as he touched one of the wounds on his side. “Damn, I thought that would work.”
Michael waved his finger,“Thinking something will work is different than having it happen.”
James smiled and pointed his finger up to the sky. A single beam of light concentrated into a ball at the tip. “Light Puppets” the ball bounced off his finger and formed into a small yellow soldier that rapidly multiplied. The Soldiers started climbing onto each other forming a wall.
Michael frowned, “Really?” Raising his foot he smashed it into the ground, causing small blocks of metal to hover in front of him. He then punched forward, launching them at the wall. “Titanium Toss!”
Michael smiled as he watched the soldiers fly, but noticed that James wasn’t there. “Your right...” James pointed his shotgun at Michael’s back “...There is a difference between thinking and making something work. Boomstick Beat!”
Michael screamed as he flew forwards, landing near the edge of the mountain top. Many of the ponies cheering for him gasped or winced as Michael’s face made contact with the ground.
~Meanwhile~
Rainbow cheered as Michael flew from the blast. “WHOO! I told you he’d win this! Looks like you're going to owe me some bits AJ.”
Applejack grumbled. “The fight ain’t over yet RD.”
~Battlefield~
James aimed his pistols and walked slowly over towards Michael, who was pushing himself up. “You ready to give up?”
Michael was standing now looking at James, “No, Pocket Gold!” Reaching into his pocket he threw gold dust into James’ eyes.
James screamed as he grabbed his injured opticals. “GAH!! MY EYES!!!! THEY BURN!!!!!!!” James tried to shoot Michael, but stumbled back and slipped off of the mountain edge. “FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-”
The Arena changed back to the grassy field and screaming could be heard from above. “-uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuUUUUUUUU-OMPH!” James fell into the ground and made another crater shaped like his body. The second one that week.
Death appeared in the arena next to Michael. “And the winner of Round 1 is Michael!” The crowd erupted in cheers as Michael waved to his fans.
James was pulling himself from the ground when he felt someone grab his shoulder. ”Thank you-hoOoOoOOoaaaa!” James nose started to bleed as he was helped onto a stretcher by Kate who was wearing a skimpy nurse outfit and blushing like mad.
Pinkie and Louis Cypher looked over to Death who gave her a thumbs up, and an eye twinkle. As she and Fluttershy were carrying him to the infirmary, he yelled back to Michael. “THANK! YOU! MICHAEL!!”
Michael simply stared at the receding person with blood running down his face. He just shook his head and headed back to the locker room. As he walked back in, Amy walked over and gave him a fist bump. “Nice work, I keep telling him not to get cocky when he’s fighting but he just never listens.”
Michael nodded, “Keeping calm in battle means the difference between losing and winning.” The screen flashed announcing that there would be a 10 minute break until the next fight.
The doors to the Arena’s hallway opened and Amy left the room. Once she was out, photographers and reporters bombarded her. She ignored most of the questions as she made her way over to the infirmary. There were four doors in down a pair of the halls and Kate was sitting at a desk in between them. “Kate, which room is James in?”
Kate pointed towards the left hall, “Third one down.”
Amy gave Kate a passing thanks and opened up James room. The idiot in question was bandaged around his chest and legs. Johon was there as well taking care of his more serious injuries. “Hello Amy. I just got done with healing James, and he’ll be ready to go by the time the Loser’s Bracket starts.”
“Thank you Johon.”
Before Amy could talk an announcement rang through the arena, “Round two will be O’Leary Vs. Tech!”
James looked up in thought. “Wonder who I’ll be going up against once I’m out of here?”
Amy shrugged. “Hell if I know, Though I’m betting on that blue haired guy.”
~Meanwhile~
Rainbow grumbled as she handed AJ 50 bits. “Ah told ya he was gonna win.”
“Eh, shut up.”
“Well who do you think will win this round?”
Rainbow didn’t even think about her answer, “Tech. Mainly because O’Leary is still drunk.”
Applejack nodded, “Yea I have to agree with you there sugarcube.” The crowd cheered as two figures made their way to the center of the arena.

Round 2: The Flame Vs. The Storm
As O’Leary strutted into view, ponies went wild. His fame at the bar got many drunks to spread word in his favor to other towns, so when he woke up yesterday and found out about the contest he simply couldn’t refuse. ‘The Man of a Hundred Pints’ and ‘The Irish King’ among other titles were on banners that littered the sides of the arena.
Across the arena, Tech walked onto the battlefield with determination written on his face. Ponies had just as many banners for him as there were for O’Leary. Most ponies that were rooting for him had some form of hipster garb and hair styles on them. There were even a couple of griffons and minotaurs cheering for him.
O'Leary vs. Tech
Rebel 1, Action!
(O'Leary vs Tech Theme)
O’Leary raised his hand and made a motion towards Tech, “You ready lad, or you need time to prepare?”
Tech cracked his neck and smirked, “Just waiting on you old man.”
O’Leary raised his pistols, “Oh good, I’ve been ready.” He fired off two rounds and Tech dodged before running up to O’Leary punching at his chest. O’Leary stumbled back, dazed as Tech drew his fist back and punched him in the stomach sending him flying into the wall.
Tech stood waiting for the smoke to clear. “That all ya got?”
O’Leary stumbled out of the smoke, “God damn you hit like the Fae!” He pushed his hands in front of him, “Flame Pillar!” A stream of fire blasted its way from his hands. Tech jumped to dodge, but didn’t move fast enough. The blast hit him head on and sent him flying into a building nearby.
The Arena was quiet for a moment before Tech busted through one of the walls to O’Leary’s right. ”GATLING FIST!” He started rapidly punching O’Leary in the side until his arms were a blur, he pulled his fist back and delivered one final punch that sent O’Leary flying into the wall face first. When the dust settled O’Leary could be seen lying face first in the ashes. One would think him dead if he wasn’t snoring.
~Meanwhile~
Pinkie winced as O’Leary went flying “Oh... That looked like it hurt a lot.”
Rainbow blinked as she looked at the screen, to her pile of bits, and then back to the screen. “That’s it? I got 50 bits for that?”
AJ slowly slid her pile into a pouch and set it next to herself. “Eeyup.”
Rainbow grinned. “Sweet.”
~Arena~
Death appeared next to Tech, “The winner of round 2 is Techno!” Tech held up his hands as the hipsters went nuts. Drunks were yelling that O’Leary was just taking a break as his drunk ass was taken away on a stretcher.
James was laughing at the monitor that was hanging in his room. “That’s PRICELESS!”
Sarah stared at the monitor, a blank look on her face, “That- I- That’s just... FUCKING REALLY!?”
An announcement echoed through the arena, “And now, for a message from our sponsors!”
James and Amy looked at the monitor and went slack jawed. “We have sponsors?”
Looking at the screen it showed James putting hockey equipment in a locker room, when suddenly Alex flew past him from the ceiling and into the floor with a ‘Woah’.
James shook his head. “When did we do this?”
It then showed Alex falling again this time he landed with a clang. The camera zoomed into his face. Suddenly two perfect copies of his head popped out from the sides and yelled, “OLD SPICE BODY SPRAY,” The heads retracted and it showed James standing there looking confusedly at Alex as he kept talking. “CAN CHANGE A REGULAR SMELLING MAN INTO A MAN WHO SMELLS LIKE POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWEEEEEEEEER!” Suddenly TV Alex turned towards TV James and shouted everything except for his boxers off of him.
Laying on his bed, the real James’ eye twitched. “I don’t remember any of this!”
TV James looked down at himself, “Now how is this...” He was interrupted as TV Alex shouted again, this time dressing him in pharaohs clothing. TV James spoke again, “Wow, you know what I actually do feel more power...”
Alex interrupted again, “POTATO CHIPS!” Suddenly James exploded, and in his place stood a vending machine filled with chips. Alex then punched the glass and shrugged as he started eating a bag of chips.
~Meanwhile~
Pinkie stared at the screen with her jaw hanging open, “H-he stole my thing. But this is too funny to not laugh at, pftt hahahahahahahaaha!”
In the stands, Sheriff Silverstar was laughing so hard he couldn’t breath along with half the crowd and all of Appleloosa.
~Commercial~
The screen then changed to a white tile wall with a neon sign that said ‘Old Spice Smell is Power’ and below it were four spray cans. A jingle consisting of the word power was said before the camera suddenly zoomed in to the second can on the left. TV Alex’s head popped out of it, “It’s me!” The background exploded as the screen cut to black.
James’ eye twitched as he continued to stare at the screen. Kate was trying not to laugh as she was sorting some papers on her desk when James started yelling loud enough to make them scatter out the door. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEX!!!!!!!!!!!!”
In the locker room Alex felt a shiver run up his spine. He waved his hand, “I sense, butthurt.”
As James continued staring at the screen a flash of light blinded him. When his vision came back he was covered in tubes that said, ‘Dr Zoidberg's Butthurt cream.’ James screamed louder than before as Amy broke out into a fit of laughter and tubes of butthurt cream went flying. Kate was REALLY trying not to laugh as she was standing in the doorway watching this. Somewhere in the distance, Sarah laughed for no apparent reason.

The Stone Vs. The Tinman
Michael walked into the arena feeling a bit sore, the blast to his chest had hurt at first. But thanks to Johon it was feeling better. Jay was walking next to him smiling and waving to the crowd. His calm demeanor never leaving. Michael stared at Jay with confusion. Jay turned to him with a grin.
“Try not to lose too quickly now.” Jay said.
Michael’s eye twitched at Jays taunt, “I plan on at least holding you off.”
Jay laughed at the response, “So you say. I may seem young, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve.”
Michael nodded, “Alright then, but tricks are only used by those who can’t fight worth a damn.”
Jay grinned, but remained silent. They moved to the center of the Arena, Michael with his hammer in hand, and Jay with his hands in his pockets.
Death appeared in front of them, “Are you two ready to fight?”
Jay nodded, as did Michael. Though he did stare at Jay with confusion. Why didn’t he have his weapon with him?
Death nodded, “Your fight will take place in the Kola Superdeep Borehole.”
Michael’s eye twitched, “WHAT!?”
Jay grinned ferally. Things were going his way finally and he knew that his bluff would pay off.
Lowering his hand, Death vanished and the Arena changed to a rocky cavern. Immediately both wraiths started sweating.
Death’s voice rang out, “BEGIN!”

Jay stomped on the ground and a diamond baseball bat erupted from the ground. He gave it a test spin in his hands, and was satisfied that it felt right.
Michael smirked, “Restriction level 1, released!” He raised his hammer and pointed it towards Jay. “Ready to rumble?”
Jay grinned once more, “Restriction level 1, released!” An earthy colored fire danced off of Jay. “I’m ready for more original banter. But sure, lets kick it off.” He taunted.
Michael smashed his foot into the ground, causing blocks of metal to hover in front of him. He punched forward, launching them, “Titanium Toss!”
Jay laughed at the projectiles, “Here’s the pitch,” He said as he slid into a batter's stance. When the metal blocks were almost on top of him, he let loose the most powerful swing he could. “And It’s a ho~me run!” The Metal blocks shot back like a rocket. It caught Michael by surprise and collided into his chest and sent him flying back.
Michael thrust his hammer towards Jay, “Neodymium Nexus!” Small metal cubes started to revolve around Jay, causing his arms and legs to freeze up. “Surprise!”
Jay looked at his situation, and chuckled. He began to glow an earthy brown. “Stalwart soul.” He then moved freely. “Honestly. Did you really think that I didn’t know what Neodymium did?” He teleported behind Michael and Smashed the Diamond bat against the back of his head, sending him into a wall.
Michael groaned and turned around quickly smashing his hammer against his leg, “Midnight Smash!”
Jay responded accordingly, “Diamond Dome!” A dome of diamond encased Jay, protecting him from all sides.
Michael started to wail on the dome with his hammer, “Why. Don’t. You. FIGHT!”
Inside the dome, Jay smirked. “All right...” He sighed with amusement. The dome shattered, surprising Michael, until he felt Jay’s hands on the back of his shirt flying into the air. He ended up colliding into the roof with a great smash, creating a crater in the roof. He then felt himself being pulled into the down as he fell.
“Emerald Driver!” Michael collided with the ground with great force.
For a couple seconds, it looked like Michael was about to get up, before crashing back into the ground. Death appeared as the Arena returned to a grassy plain. “The winner of round three is Jay!”
Jay laughed jovially, “Was there ever any doubt?” He laughed as he walked over to where an unconscious Michael was resting. He then picked him up and threw him over his shoulder. “I’ll take him to the infirmary, keep the tourney goin’!” He waved to the audience as they cheered his name.
~Meanwhile~
Rainbow laughed as she once again dragged a pile of bits over to her bags. “I swear AJ, you have the worse luck when it comes to these things.”
Applejack grumbled, “Ah wouldn’t go that far, do remember there are more rounds comin’ up.”
The screen flashed, showing a picture of Amy and Dean. “The next fight will be Dean vs. Amy!”
Round 4
The Glacier Vs. The Moon
Dean swaggered into the arena as ponies broke out cheering.He looked to all sides as he soaked in the attention and praise. He grinned as he saw banners with his name amongst the crowd.
“Geez, they go all out, don’t they?” Dean turned to Amy with a grin. She nodded with a smile as they moved to the center of the arena. They stood in the center of the arena, waiting for the signal to begin.
Death appeared in front of them holding a microphone, “Welcome back to the fourth round of the wraith tournament! This round is Amy Hindenburg Vs. Dean Marcelo, are you ready!?”
“My nipples are perked in excitement.” Dean grinned as he prepared his wraith blade.
Amy facepalmed as she prepared her Bow. “Let’s just get this over with.”
“Your arena will be an iceberg in the Arctic Ocean. BEGIN!” Both competitors jumped back and slid a ways, as the arena changed into a large, flat iceberg floating in the current of an Arctic midnight.
Dean Vs. Amy
Rebel 1, Action!
(Dean Vs. Amy Theme)
“Releasing first restriction/Releasing first restriction”
Dean was the first to move, he teleported in front of her and lashed a kick. “Infernal Rapture!” She backflipped away from the kick and narrowly avoided the beam that launched from the ground. She notched her bow with a silver light erupting from her fingers, creating five arrows.
“Lunar Arrows!” Dean, being the suave bastard that he is, placed a hand on his hat and moonwalked out of the way. Amy’s eye twitched.
“De-fucking-nied!” The Icemeister taunted with a grin. He teleported once more in front of the Lunar archer with his sword at the ready. “Peek-a-boo bitch!” He slashed downwards, Amy blocked it with her bow, struggling with Deans superior strength. Dean jumped backwards, obvious grin on his face.
Amy Clapped her hands together and slammed them into the ground “Illusion Show!” Many figures of Dean and Amy popped out of the ice and started dancing.
“Oh to hell with this!” Dean snarled. He stabbed his sword into the ground. “Arctic dungeon!” A frozen mist escaped from the ground, destroying all of the illusions.
Amy jumped onto one of the images as it was encased in ice. She tapped it a couple of times on the head before sighing “Why do they always dance?”
“Because reasons!” Dean replied. He charged at Amy with ice trailing behind him. “And here’s something for ya’!” He jumped high into the air and stomped on the ground, forcing the ice to rise. It wasn’t until a giant glacier was resting above Deans head that the ice stopped moving.
~Meanwhile~
James was smiling at the screen. He’d been given the OK to leave the infirmary and was with the others in the locker room. “She really thought that making a copy of Dean would make something normal?”
Michael nodded in agreement. “I really don’t want to see what happens if she does that to Alex.” The mage in question grinned and started rubbing his hands together.
~Battlefield~
Amy threw her hands in the air. “Fuck it all.” She charged Dean and kicked him in the jaw. “Crescent Assault!”
A gasp of air left Dean as he dropped the glacier into the water. Amy continued her attack as she landed three more hits and axe-kicked Dean into the ground, knocking his hat away. In the distance a cruise liner sank as the glacier crashed into the front. Amy glared at the ship with surprise and annoyance.
“It was you!?!” She exclaimed.
~Meanwhile~
James and Michael looked at each other, then the screen, then back to each other. “It was him!?!”
Alex grinned. “I approve.”
James turned to him, “Why?”

Dean watched his hat fall to the ground and chuckled, it then started to turn into a light laughter, then it turned into a full on insane laugh. He rose from the ground, a insane look in his eyes. “YOU WANT TO DANCE!?! OKAY!”
He charged at Amy with more speed than before, and kicked her in the jaw. “Infernal Rapture!” As she ascended into the air, Dean jumped up to meet her. He appeared above her and began to slash repeatedly. He then grabbed her leg and tossed her into the ground and formed ice around his legs as he fell.
“Glacier Drop!” He landed on top of Amy, ice shattering everywhere. He wasn’t done though, as he then picked her up and kicked her forward, making her skid across the ground. He turned off his wraith blade and created his own bow.
“Arrows of Ice!” He launched three spikes of ice at her and froze her in place. He then activated his wraith blade and slashed down. “Arctic Dagger!” A blade of ice was launched from his sword and zoomed at Amy with great speed. It cut her out of the block of ice and left her dazed as she collapsed.
Dean finally finished his attacks and he appeared calmer. He then grimaced as he realized what he just did. “Maybe I overdid it...” He rubbed the back of his neck.
Death appeared as the arena changed back to normal and raised Dean’s arm. “And the winner of round 4 is Dean!” Dean tapped Death’s shoulder with his free hand.
“Is she gonna be alright?” Dean asked with concern. Death nodded in response. Kate and Fluttershy carried her away on a stretcher.
The screen flashed drawing everyone towards it. “And now, for a commercial break!”
The screen cut to a backyard with Sarah and Arlosia looking up at James who was holding a bag of Doritos on top of a pillar made of light. Arlosia seemed to be inside an elastic bouncer and Sarah was in an electric wheelchair.
James was taunting them, “Who has the Doritos, who has the Doritos?” He held them out, “You want one?” He pulled them back. “Sorry!” It cut to Arlosia turning to Sarah as James continued his taunting in the background.
It cut again to Sarah pulling Arlosia back with the wheelchair, stretching the springs on the bouncer. Suddenly, Arlosia raised her thumb and Sarah released her, sending Arlosia flying towards James. The camera did an epic shot as she flew towards him, reached out a hand, and grabbed the bag.
James looked at them surprised as Sarah, who was holding the bag, held out a chip, with Arlosia joining her a second later. The screen finally showed a Doritos logo with a crunch sound before cutting to black.

Round 5: The Trial Vs. The Mage
Johon was standing near the gate staring across the field at Alex, who was reading a small book chained to his side. The stands had some ponies cheering on Johon, Fluttershy being one of them. The rest of them were curious as to what Alex could do, considering his titles and the fact they never seen him fight.
Death turned towards them.
“Are you guys ready!?” Alex opened his mouth to answer but was cut off by Johon.
“I’m not fighting him.” The crowd gasped at this and Sarah yelled out ‘Pussy’ as Death raised an eyebrow.
“Are you sure? you did have three days to choose.”
“I don’t even want to be here! I’m here because Sarah dragged me!” Death frowned.
“Well then, you forfeit the battle?” Johon nodded “Ok then.” Waving his hand Johon appeared next to Kate in the healers box. Death turned to Alex who was starting to walk off. “Don’t think you’re getting off easy.” Alex turned around and stared at Death as he snapped his fingers. The arena changed into a oversized dojo and was filled with about fifty animatronic, faceless dummies. Each dummy was equipped with a different form of weapon ranging from swords, to staves, and throwing knives. Alex was sure he saw a ringblade somewhere in the back.
“If you can defeat all fifty of these targets in the next thirty minutes you may continue on to the next round without any penalty. If you fail however you will not be allowed to use your abilities the next round.” Death vanished and a timers appeared on the dojo walls. Alex cracked his neck.
“You underestimate me.”
“BEGIN” As soon as the word was said the dummies sprung into action.

Alex walked up to the drones as they charged and smacked the closest one with his staff once it got close enough. The drone started malfunctioning and blew up, causing the next one to explode. Then the next, then the next, until practically all of the drones were either on fire, destroyed, or both.
Alex blinked. “They’re worse than the turrets at Aperture!” One of the malfunctioning drones flew through the air at the one with a ringblade and was cut clean in half.
The remaining drone’s face opened up to reveal a single green robotic eye. “Target acquired. ”
Alex grinned, “Oh goody, something that didn’t blow up.”
The drone drew the blade back and the blade began twirling. “Commencing extermination procedures ” The blade flew forward and Alex barely dodged by leaning backwards. The blade cut into the ceiling as it traveled back to the Drone.
Alex tsked, “Ah ah ah, you can cut someone with that.” Twirling his staff he caught the ringblade and tossed it off to the side.
The drone looked towards the blade and scanned it for damage. When it noticed a hairline fracture in the blade a red light appeared inside the eye. “Weapon has been damaged, Resorting to Close Quarters Combat. ” The drone crouched down and readied itself.
Alex in a complete twist tossed his staff aside, “If I can hold me own against two hundred armor wielding trained killers and mercenaries wanting me dead every DAY, I’m damn sure I can take ye.”
~Meanwhile~
Applejack and Rainbow Dash stared at him with horror in their eyes.
Rainbow was the first to break the silence, “Two HUNDRED!”
AJ looked at her, “What do ya think he did to get someone mad enough to kill ‘im?”
Rainbow shook her head, “I don’t know, but I don’t want to.”
~Locker Room~
James watched as Alex discarded his staff. “What is he doing?”
Dean shrugged, “I don’t know.”
Tech smiled, “He’s going fist fight the drone.”

The drone jumped towards Alex, arms extended. Alex punched the drone in the face, knocking it backwards with a grinding sound as the head was thrown back. The drones head straightened itself just in time for Alex to rapidly deliver punches to it’s torso. The drone grabbed his fist and delivered a punch to his face, knocking Alex back.
Alex cracked his fingers and wiped some blood from his lip. “Well played, but I think it’s time for me to call this match over.” With a roar, Alex charged at the drone.
The drone scanned Alex as he charged, “Velocity is at fifty MPH, countering. ” The drone drew it’s fist back and aimed a shot at Alex’s head. Everything moved slowly as the fist got closer to it’s goal. The drone smiled internally, victory was assured. But it was drawn out of it’s musings when Alex’s body twisted and delivered a kick to the drones legs, knocking it off balance.
The drone quickly stood up as Alex landed another punch to it’s face, this time cracking it’s eye.
The drone stopped moving as the light in it’s eye faded, “Critical system failure. Self detonation activated. ”
Alex watched as the drone started beeping, “If I learned anything from gnomes, beeping is a bad thing.” He jumped backwards just in time, the drone exploded launching shrapnel everywhere and knocking Alex to the floor.
Standing up, Alex turned to the timer. “Fifteen minutes? Wow I thought I killed them quicker than that.”
Death appeared next to Alex as the Arena turned back into the field. “And the winner of round 5, is Alex!”
Alex raised his hands in the air as ponies cheered his name. Smirking he grabbed his staff, and made his way towards the locker room.
As he entered Tech stopped him, “Those moves were AWESOME! Where did you learn to fight like that?”
Alex chuckled, “The Houjin monks of Pandaria know how to drill fighting techniques into your head. Trust me, it would take you much too long to even grasp the basics.” Tech frowned.
The screen flashed showing Tech and Sarah faces. And drawing the wraiths attention, “The next battle will be Tech vs. Sarah!” Tech cracked his neck as Sarah scowled.

The Shadow Vs. The Storm
Tech walked into the Arena confidently, which had taken the form of the Netherstorm, smirking at the crowd. The amount of hipster ponies had doubled since the last round, and as soon as they saw him they broke out into cheers that shook the coliseum.
Sarah, on the other hand, was mostly scowling at Tech, not even paying attention to the minimal amount of cheers she got, which came from Arlosia, Jav, Alex, Dean, and Ardiente. ‘Smug bastard...’ She thought to herself.
Death appeared in front of the two wraiths. “Welcome back to the sixth round of the wraith fighting extravaganza, our opponents today are Sarah and the winner of round two, Techno Bassboost!”
“I am going to kick your ass, lad.”
Death stepped between them, “Calm down Sarah, you can do whatever you want to him as soon as the fight starts. Anyways are you two ready?”
“Yes.”
“FUCK YEAH!”
Death nodded his head, “Alright, BEGIN!”
Tech Vs. Sarah

(Tech Vs. Sarah Theme)
“Restriction level 1, release!” Her claws extended and curved inward, alongside her arm’s spikes, “Walking in my Shadow!” As she said this, her shadow shot up from the ground and stood beside her, taking on a three dimensional form. The shadow, alongside Sarah herself, had it’s claw out and ready, waiting for Tech to make a move.
“Restriction level 1, release!” A silver fire enveloped Tech as he started to release power and his knuckles had small blades pop out. “Moon Cyclone!” He ran forward and started circling around her delivering punches to her head, he then turned 360 degrees and let loose three final punches.
The result was a multitude of small cuts covering her face, her skeleton stopping the blades from going too deep. “That it?” She asked. “Alright then, Nevermore.” She ran behind him and held him in place, while her shadow burst apart into a swarm of ravens, which began to bite and claw at him repeatedly.
He screamed as the ravens pecked away at bits of his skin. He tried to break free from Sarah’s grasp, but she held strong.
Tech slammed his head into the bridge of Sarah’s nose. Even with her metal bones it still was enough to make her let go. As she reeled back from the blow, Tech started to throw punches left and right in an attempt to wear her down.
~Meanwhile~
James was staring at the screen. “Damn, Tech can hold his own.”
Amy watched as Sarah didn’t move from her spot. “Yeah, but for how long?”
~Battlefield~
When he finally threw the finishing uppercut Sarah just looked up and smiled. “Now this is starting to get fun, isn’t it?” Sarah then launched her counter attack using her claws as a way to counterbalance Tech’s bladed fists. She struck towards him with her claws and stopped right as he threw his arm up in defense and came back around in a devastating left hook to the gut. Tech, not used to being hit with so much force in the area, gasped as almost all the air left his body. He quickly regained his tempo and dodge a swipe from Sarah’s claw.
Tech lashed out with a roundhouse kick and connected with Sarah’s side. His kick connected to her ribs and sent her flying a few feet away, however his leg was in pain from striking the metal bones. He ignored the pain and continued his assault.
~Meanwhile~
Dean smirked and gave a low whistle, “Thataboy! Show her what we did to that sentiment!” Dean Cheered.
Amy watched over the battle for a few seconds before looking to Dean, “Dean, what makes you so confident that he’s going to win?” She asks him. Dean laughed in response.
“You kiddin’ me? He has no chance of winning.” He replies. Amy raised an eyebrow.
“Then why are you cheering for him?” She pressed. For the first time that she’s known Dean, he actually glared at her.
“No one else will. I at least have the fucking courtesy to show respect to those that have earned it, and that boy has earned enough of it to warrant it. Most of the wraiths here have proven themselves to act like a Jackass ninety percent of the time.” His glare lightened as he had a faraway look. “You know, there was a time when it was the same between us...” He trailed off as he lightly smiled. Amy blushed and then turned away.
“You ended that, remember?” She snapped. Dean chuckled and resumed watching

Tech dodged a combo from Sarah and countered with a right hook that sent her reeling. With that opening, he prepared one of his combos, “MOON CYCLONE!” This time, the combo did more damage than last time. Sarah staggered before shaking her head.
After stumbling to regain her senses, she rushed forward at him yelling, “Rain on a Grave!” Which was accompanied by her punching him in the chest, launching him into the air with a column of red and black energy. Jumping after him, she positioned herself to bring her claws down on him.
Tech quickly brought his trench knives to block the claw coming down to him. The impact rattled the bones of his arms, but the training with Slayer made him feel worse pain than that. He grabbed her foot and spun a few times before throwing her to the ground.
As Tech was in the air, a cloud of ozone gathered and shot a bolt of lightning into the fighter, charging him for his next attack. “Zeus’ fist!” He shouted. As soon as his fist collided into Sarah’s face, a lightning bolt shot down and struck the spot they were in.
~Meanwhile~
Amy stared at the screen blinking away the blindness that was keeping him from seeing. “Damn that was bright.”
James just kept staring like it was nothing. “Wuss.” Amy proceeded to punch him in the balls and turned back to the screen while James rolled on the floor in pain.
~Battlefield~
There was a silence as a cloud of dust formed around the two, followed by an angry shout. Tech was sent flying back from the dust cloud, holding his arms up as if he had been blocking a strike. After a few seconds, the cloud settled, and Sarah was seen standing at the center of a charred indent in the ground. She was panting heavily, a scowl on her face and her nose bent and bleeding.
“Damn...” She breathed out, “Fucking actually hurt...” She spit out a mouthful of blood into her hand, it having accumulated in her mouth from the attack making her bite the tip of her tongue off. She looked at Tech, only to see him closing in and about to strike.
He quickly gathered energy into his fist and sent an uppercut into Sarah’s chin, the energy exploded into fifteen different fists that struck the same spot and sent her higher into the air. “Dancing Moon Shadow!” As soon as she was above him, He completed the attack by unleashing a barrage of fists into her and punched her one final time, sending skidding across the ground.
After shakingly standing back up, Sarah sent a glare at Tech, before gathering any and all blood she could from her injuries. With a scream of anger, she threw it through the air at blinding speeds, shouting, “Vampire’s Fang!” Several blades formed out of the blood, slashing over Tech’s body. Wasting no time, she unsteadily charged at him and delivered a punch to his ribs, sending him backwards.
Tech stood up as quick as he could, but winced as he felt a sharp pain in his ribs. One of them is either broken, or they’re all fractured with the raw power that was in the hit. He would have to be careful not to let her get another hit like that to his ribs, or they’ll shatter. Ignoring the pain, he charged at Sarah, ready and hoping this attack will finish it. She tried to slash at him, but he weaved to the left and unleashed an uppercut. He focused half of the stamina he drained into the punch, and sent her back into the air. The force sent a shockwave out as the fist connected, as she came down, he punched her into the spine. “Lunar Lance!” The force of the punch sent her flying forwards as she created a trail into the ground.
She slowly, and with great strain, rose to her feet, blood running down from various cuts and injuries, “God... Dammit...” She gathered all of the blood she could, and sent it straight at him, going for a different route than before. Instead of forming several large blades, she made it spin around him while forming smaller ones, cutting him all over his body. He then fell to his knees, covered in cuts and blood.
Tech slowly got to his feet. “Is that... all you got?” Tech asked wearily. He said this as he rushed forward and just as he was about to throw a punch, he became an unconscious heap on the ground.
Sarah who had braced for the blow looked down at Tech and saw he had stopped moving just before the impact. She simply stared at his unconscious body, her eyes slightly glazed over, as she let out labored breaths.
With that Death appeared in the arena as it changed back. “The winner of the 6th round is Sarah!”
Shaking her head, Sarah slowly moved over to Tech and lifted him up, draping his arm around her shoulders, “Jesus Christ lad, just... Jesus fuckin’ Christ...” She gave a sigh and walked him over to meet the medical team halfway, before collapsing alongside Tech.
~Meanwhile~
AJ chuckled as she pulled the bits over to her side of the table. “Looks like ah win sugarcube.”
Rainbow pouted as the screen changed for an announcement. “And now, a word from our sponsors.”
The screen showed a black background and a voice came from it. “This battle was brought to you by...” The screen suddenly burst into color as a wrapped piece of candy flew towards the screen. “LUCKY CANDY!”
Dean appeared on the screen. “We are karate duo number one!” Then Deans head flew across the screen. “Number one!” The two Deans appeared on screen standing apart from each other.
Celestia looked at the screen rather confused. “Luna do you have any idea what that was?”
Luna just shook her head and kept watching the screen. “No dear sister, but we find it is difficult to turn away.”
The Dean on the left thrust his hands forward. “When we need awesome power,” He then punched forward. “we eat Lucky Candy!” The other dean kicked upwards. “Lucky Candy!”
Dean then appeared again, and hopped across the screen. “Lucky Candy make you fly like bird.”
~Meanwhile~
Twilight’s eyes twitched at the horrible grammar of the commercial, while Rainbow Dash made a mental note to buy the non-existent product to increase her also non-existent chances of joining the Wonderbolts. Why, you may ask? BECAUSE SHE DOESN’T TRY OUT LIKE THE DUNCE SHE SOMETIMES IS!
~Commercial~
The other Dean then flew up from the bottom of the screen. “No, like glorious eagle!”
It then cut to Dean with really huge muscles. “Lucky candy makes you strong!”
Other Dean popped up. “How strong?”
The Muscled Dean flexed “So Strong!”
Alex appeared on the screen wearing a pair of glasses. “Lucky Candy make you have super powers.” Dean flew by with a woosh. “Lucky Candy make you have Hattori Hanzo's Steel.”
James popped up on the screen, “It hurt my mouth...”
Alex then grew five times larger. “YOUR MOUTH IS WEAK!” He then spit fire at James. Alex then did this weird dance before a picture appeared on screen for half a second.
~Meanwhile~
James turned to Alex. “Why is it you are always the one to do things to me?”
Alex chuckled. “I have no idea, but it fits.”
~Commercial~
Dean appeared again. “So when you’re in need of a pickup, eat LUCKY CANDY!”
Other Dean appeared in front of him, “LUCKY CANDY!”
The first Dean appeared in front of the other. “Or DIE!” It then cut to the two making karate sounds for a minute before cutting back to Dean. “Lucky Candy, taste the glory!” The screen then faded to black.
~Meanwhile~
Celestia stood there, mouth gaping at the commercial. Honestly, she didn’t know what to think. She just witnessed someone she cares for just perform the most weirdest and most hilarious (In her opinion) commercial in this tournament. The feels were not ready.
Locker room
Dean stood there staring blankly at the screen. Like Celestia, his feels were not ready for what he witnessed.
Amy had a shit eating grin as she stared at him. “Hey Dean you want some ‘Lucky Candy’?” She started laughing as she clutched her sides.
Dean, not even turning away from the screen, simply said this, “I already got lucky with you, I’ll pass.” James proceeded to fall on the ground laughing as Amy blushed as bright as the north star.
Alex stared before standing up and turning towards Dean. “Lucky Candy!” Dean was then surrounded by a pile of Lucky Candy brand candy bars. He then said as sexually as possible. “Your move Mr. Iceman~” (Somewhere, across a variety of hidden dimensions, several officers shuddered in fear and trauma).
Dean then erupted from the mountain of candy with a crazed look of rage on his face, “IMMA RAPE YA BITCH!”
Alex ran out of the room sideways like a crab, his hands clapping over his head. “Woop woop woopwoopwoopwoop!”
Dean stops as he immediately calms down. He then stares at Alex with a hidden rape face in his eyes. “Two can play at this game.” Dean then turns to a random direction, “Let me introduce a friend of mine, HEY! GET OVER HERE!” Everyone then heard a bouncing as they looked where it was coming from. What they saw blew their fucking minds.
It was Shit-pickle.
“Shiiiiiiit pickle.” It said with for some reason, a voice that sounded somewhat like Dean.
Alex stared at him before grinning. “Bat credit card.” Shit pickle was then cut in half by Batmans’ credit card.
Before he could taunt Dean, his face was then infront of his, Rage and rape in his eyes. “YOU... DIDN’T...” Dean then went bat-shit insane. “A BAT CREDIT CARD!?!?!?!?!?!” He then began chasing Alex as he ran for his (un)life.
“RAPE MY CHILDHOOD YOU SONOFABITCH! I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU(AGAIN!)!”
“OH GOD! MAKE A WISH!” Alex suddenly, in a flash, disappeared. And in his place, was a wooden bucket.
Dean, not wasting any time, opened the nearest locker, finding Alex. Dean then unleashed the creepiest and most rape-y grin ever conceived by a man. “Give me a hug...”
“... Really?”
Dean’s grin nearly split his face, as he then charged into the locker and slammed the door closed. Cries of suffering and pain then came through the cracks of the locker as everyone stared at it.
Amy made a small pout. “Never would do that to me...” James’ eye twitched as the mental images flashed through his mind before vomiting on Michael and passing out.
Michael looked down at his cloak. “... God damn it all.”
Throughout all of this, Sarah instinctively laughed her ass off in her unconscious state.
The screen flashed again, drawing everyone's attention. On it were the pictures of Dean and Jay. “The next battle will be Dean vs. Jay!”
Dean left the locker covered in blood and tears of suffering and looked at the screen.
Alex was never the same.
Tournament of the Wraiths
Round 7:The Stone Vs. The Glacier
Dean and Jay were walking towards the arena with smiles on their faces.
Dean turned towards Jay. “Try not to lose too fast.”
Jay looked at him. “Isn’t that what I’m supposed to say?”
Dean simply rolled his eyes with a grin.
As soon as they reached the center Death appeared between them. “Are you two ready?” Both Dean and Jay nodded. “The battle shall take place, in the Alaskan Tundra. BEGIN!” Death vanished as the arena changed and they jumped away from each other.
Jay Vs. Dean
Rebel 1, Action!
(Jay Vs. Dean Theme)
“Wraith blade activate!” Two veins popped out of Deans’ arm as his sword hummed to life pulsing with blue energy. Landing on his feet, he looked over and saw Jay already have his axe out and ready. They both stared at each other intently for a few seconds for a few seconds before teleporting from existence. A second later, they reappeared in a collision, creating a visible shockwave.
“Come on Jay, show me what you got!” Dean exclaimed. Jay then grabbed Dean's face and slammed him into the ground. He began to drag him across the floor and then threw him into the air. He swung the flat of his ax into Dean's stomach, sending him flying across the frozen fields.
Jay grinned as he saw Dean get up, “How’s that, Dean?”
Dean returned the grin with his own, “Feels good bro.” he retorted as he cracked his neck. Dean disappeared and attempted to ax kick Jay in the head, but he sidestepped and tried to grab Dean. Dean slashed at Jay’s arm, but he quickly dodged. Dean placed his foot in Jay’s chin and sent him skyward, “Infernal Rapture!” he shouted.
He jumped after Jay and slashed at his back, and then he grabbed his leg and threw him to the ground and landed on his back where he slashed, making the wound greater. He jumped back a few feet away from Jay and smirked as he got up. “How’s that?” Dean taunted. Jay jumped to his feet and smiled.
“Restriction level 1, released!” Was his retort as an earth colored fire erupted from his body.. Dean replied with his own.
“Restriction level 1, released!” An icy wind surrounded Dean, making him glow with a ice blue aura. Dean looked at Jay with a feral smirk, “You ready for this?” He asked. Jay’s reply was to simply teleport above Dean with his axe out to strike.
“Guillotine breaker!” Jay streaked down and struck the ground, nearly cleaving Dean in two. Dean gave a low whistle as he saw the area he was just standing in.
~Meanwhile~
Michael whistled as Jay barely missed. “Damn. I have to admit, that was cool.”
Arlosia snapped her fingers in frustration, “Damn, he missed.”
Alex turned towards her. “What a little bundle of sunshine and smiles ye are.”
She quickly retorted, “And you’re a giant wad of unstable arcane energy and world fucking!”
“Why thank ye for the complement.”
She pointed at him and glared, holding her wand up, “One of these days, world-fucker, one of these days, this will go right up your ass! Then, and only then, will you learn the true meaning of unbridled HATE!”
“Trust me, I learned that from The Elemental Lords.”
~Battlefield~
For some reason, Dean felt like taunting Arlosia, don’t ask why, I don’t know either.
“Damn man, a little brutal, don’t you think?” The ice user asked as he stared at the damage. Jay pulled his axe out of the ground and smiled.
“Just getting my old bones ready, that’s all.” He flourished his axe and got into a battle-ready stance, “Besides, I think we both know you would have dodged that anyway.” Jay smirked. Dean laughed and disappeared. He reappeared behind Jay and swung his sword at him, Jay jumped over Dean and kicked him in the back of the head. Dean stumbled forward and rolled as Jay stomped on the ground behind him.
However, pillars of earth shot out from the ground and struck Dean in the chest, knocking the wind out of him. Dean skidded across the ground a few feet before he jumped onto his feet. Dean narrowed his eyes at Jay in annoyance.
“Now you’re just trying to piss me off, aren’t you?” He growled out. Jay just smirked and tried to look innocent. Blue fire formed on Dean’s body as he began to build up power.
“Restriction level 2, released!” The blue fire erupted off of Dean once again, but this time, it lingered on him. He adjusted his tie to be loose.
“Come on Jay, I ain’t got all day.” Dean scowled. Jay grinned and dashed to Dean. Dean saw this coming, and dodged and countered with a slash from his sword. Icicles appeared behind Dean as he moved past Jay, and they struck him in the chest, completely freezing him in a block of ice.
“Icicle Disaster!” Dean then slashed at the block of ice, cutting it to pieces in one stroke. He then kicked Jay in his chin, sending him flying into the air. Dean jumped after him and delivered an axe kick to his stomach, as he fell, Dean encased his legs in ice and trailed after him.
“Glacier Drop!” Dean announced his attack. Jay saw Dean falling after him, getting ready to crush him. He smirked, and as he smacked against the ground, he slammed his fist into the ground.
“Diamond Dome!” Diamonds then encased the scruffy man in a protective dome of diamonds, providing him shelter from the falling ice man.
The glacier then slammed into the dome, shattering into a million pieces. Dean smacked into the ground with a thud, leaving him disoriented.
Jay took advantage of it, and grabbed Dean by the back of his head and jumped high into the air. His brown soul wavelength encased the both of them as they rose higher into the air, and it got brighter and brighter until it was blinding everyone in the audience.
~Meanwhile~
Michael started grumbling to himself. “Stupid fucking diamond shield.”
Alex turned to him. “It has weaknesses you know.”
Michael snapped at him. “IT DOESN’T! It’s the strongest mineral in existence.” Alex only smirked.
~Battlefield~
“Second Restriction released! DIAMOND CRUSHER!” Jay shouted he began to trail downwards, creating a streak of soul energy. He could pass as a meteor, almost.
Dean knew this attack would end this fight, so he had to think of something quick, or he would lose. An idea came to him, and he hoped it would work.
“ARCTIC DUNGEON!” Frozen mist surrounded the both of them, freezing Jay, ending his attack. Dean smirked and escaped from Jay’s grasp and flipped him in mid-air, him using Jay as a shield for the landing. “Sorry about this, but this is a tournament and I enjoy winning.” He whispered so that only he and Jay could hear him as they fell.
There was a giant shockwave as they landed, it kicked up a giant dust cloud, blocking the screen from viewing the rest of the fight.
~Meanwhile~
AJ whooped in excitement as Dean and Jay impacted the ground. “Ah knew Dean would be able to win!”
Rainbow grumbled. “Yeah yeah don’t rub it in.”
~Battlefield~
As the dust cleared, to everyones surprise, both fighters were still standing. Dean was panting from exhaustion, as was Jay.
~Meanwhile~
Alex was staring at the screen in sheer awe. “Oh. My. God. Dean ye lucky son of a bitch!”
Michael was twitching on the ground from the impossibility of this entire situation.
~VIP Booth~
All of the ponies jaws were hanging open, staring at the screen. Twilight was the first to get her voice back. “WOO! Go Dean!”
Celestia joined her student in her cheering. “WIN AND YOU GET A BONUS PRIZE!!!”
~Battlefield~
Dean decided that the first move was his. He snapped his fingers and a large seal appeared under his feet.
“Hail Mary!” Spirits of long dead mobsters appeared at Deans side and unleashed a hail of bullets upon Jay who was having trouble dodging all of the projectiles. The bullets stopped flying, making Jay pause in confusion. He looked back at Dean. He had a fucking rocket launcher!
“FULL! OF! FUCKING! GRACE BITCH!” The rocket shot forward, leaving a trail of ice and rape. Jay just sat there and stared at the situation he was in.
~Meanwhile~
Michael, who had stopped convulsing, fell back to the floor with foam pouring from his mouth.
Alex sat there laughing. “Oh sweet jesus, my sides!”
James and Amy were unable to speak, due to the sheer amount of laughter they were releasing.
~Battlefield~
“Well fuck. I did not see that coming at all.” Jay muttered to himself. He shrugged and slammed his fist into the ground.
“Diamond dome!” His shield blocked the explosion, but when the dust cleared, Jay was gone. Dean whipped his head around, knowing that this wasn’t over. He then felt vibrations from the ground and looked down. Jay suddenly erupted from the ground and uppercutted Dean in the face, sending him flying into the air.
Dean landed on the ground with a groan of pain. Jay was using his axe as a crutch to keep himself standing.
~Meanwhile~
Celestia winced as Dean’s face impacted the ground. “Oh dear, get up!”
Rainbow turned to AJ and smirked. “The tables have turned!”
AJ shook her head. “The fight ain’t over yet.”
~Battlefield~
Dean slowly got up from the ground shakily. He was in a lot of pain, and he knew that one more attack is going to finish him. His anger was reaching a boiling point, and he had one more trick up his sleeve.
Time to make it count.
“REAVER BLADE!” Deans sword then began to exude more power, nearly overflowing from the blade. Dean teleported in front of Jay in a rush of power, hoping to catch him off guard.
It worked.
Dean slashed wildly at Jay. As he did so, blue orbs danced out of Jay and shot into Dean, seemingly healing his wounds slowly. The combo ended with Dean kicking Jay in the chest and made him skid across the floor. Dean slashed down and launched a wave of ice at Jay.
“Arctic Dagger!” Deans assault finished, leaving him breathless.Jay stood there for a moment, leaving everyone on edge. He then fell forward.
Dean had won.
Death appeared at the center of the arena in his human form, “The victor of this round is Dean!”
Dean chuckled as he moved to Jay and landed right beside him, still conscious. “I can’t even feel my fucking legs...” he sighed. He gave a thumbs up to let everyone know he’s alright.
~Meanwhile~
Alex stared at the screen for a couple seconds before reaching into his bag and pulling out a glass of watermelon juice and downed it quickly.
Michael stared at him. “Why did you just drink watermelon juice?”
Alex smiled. “It tastes good.”
Sarah walked into the room, rubbing the tiredness from her eyes, having been woken up by the impact from Jay’s Diamond Crusher. She yawned, “Hey guys, what’d I miss?”
Alex shrugged. “Just the entire fight between Dean and Jay.”
She blinked a few times, “Oh. Well fuck.”
~VIP Booth~
AJ laughed as she dragged the pile of bits over to her side of the table. “Close call,” She smirked at Rainbow. “don’t you think?”
Rainbow pouted. “How does he do that!? How does he keep winning!?”
AJ shrugged. “Ah don’t know, luck, skill. Either way he wins.”
Celestia smiled to herself, “Well... Looks like Dean gets that bonus prize after all...” she then teleported from the booth, leaving the ponies to wonder what she meant.
The screen flashed, drawing everyone's attention. “The next fight will be Alex vs. Sarah!”
Tournament of the Wraiths
Round 8: The Shadow Vs. The Mage
Alex walked casually into the Arena, which had taken the form of a section of the Black Temple that was cut off by fel iron spikes, noticing the amount of cheering he was receiving had doubled since his last round. That, and one sarcastic ‘woo-hoo’ from a certain adolescent blood elf.
‘I have never. Felt more conflicted. In my entire. FUCKING. LIFE!’ Were Sarah’s thoughts at the moment, as she walked alongside Alex. The uncertainty was clear on her face, as many ponies in the crowd gave her odd looks.
“Ye know I don’t want to do this too,” Alex said, catching Sarah’s attention, “Only reason I’m here is because we can prove our honor, that and the fact that I’ve only fought things much weaker than myself. This should be fun.”
“Yeah, for you! Not me, I’m freakin’ the fuck out right now!”
He stopped walking, “Well considering the fact ye think I’m helpless, it’s not a big surprise.”
“It’s not that I think you’re helpless,” she shouted, “but I have very bad experiences with fighting people your age! Last time that happened, I literally fucking killed myself!”
He frowned and raised an eyebrow, “Well I’m not ye, so I can’t tell ye what to do. But if ye want ye can ask for someone else to fight.”
“No no, let’s just... Get this over with. I’ll just, like, let you win or something.”
“No, that wouldn’t be fair. Tell ye what if ye hold back on me, I hold back on ye.”
“Actually, how about this. We do a draw. We count to ten, use one of our attacks, and whoever falls first loses.”
He smiled, “That sounds good.”
“Okay, let’s do this...”
Death appeared in front of them, “Alright then, you two ready?” They nodded. “Then BEGIN!”
Alex Vs. Sarah

(Alex Vs. Sarah Theme)
“Restriction level 1 & 2, released/Restriction level 1 & 2, released!”
Alex’s staff became pointed at the ends, and began to leak arcane energy as his body crackled with the arcane. While Sarah’s claws fused into one, large scythe-like blade, replacing her hand. They both jumped away from each other, placing them at a good distance apart.

“3” Sarah rolled her shoulders, causing a metallic clanging sound to echo around the arena as her bones popped.

“6” Alex cracked his neck and smirked.

“9” Alex raised his right hand and started drawing in the air, leaving a glowing symbol.
“10!”
Sarah swung her hand downward, then once to the left and right, sending three, large blades of darkness at Alex, “When Shadows Reign!”
Alex pierced the symbol with his pointer and middle fingers, launching a beam of arcane energy towards her, “Arcane Beam!” The attacks clashed at the middle of where the two stood exploding and kicking up a huge cloud of smoke.
~Meanwhile~
Rarity eyes widened as Alex unleashed his first attack. “Oh my! I’ve never seen such a powerful spell!”
Twilight nodded, “No kidding.”
AJ let out a whistle as the smoke filled the screen. “Looks like you might just win this one Rainbow.” The pegasus smirked and kept watching the screen as it flashed green.
~Battlefield~
“Illidan’s Rage!” Suddenly a sickly green glow pierced through the smoke, and a crackling sound graced everyone’s ears. The smoke was then cut by twenty blades made of green fire. Sarah stood there, frozen with wide eyes as the blades impacted. A cloud of smoke was released as another thing pierced through the impact, a genuine scream of terror.
Alex stood still, staring at where Sarah was. His eyes widened as he remembered the look in her eyes. ‘She was scared?’ The cloud faded revealing Sarah staring at one of the burns on her arm.
~Meanwhile~
James eyes widened as Sarah’s scream came from the screen. “Holy.. Was that Sarah!?” Amy nodded and gazed at the display. “Shit, Alex is screwed.”
~Battlefield~
Alex moved towards her slowly, being careful not to move quickly. As he got closer he could hear mumbling something regarding fire. He reached a hand out slowly, leaving it hovering in front of him. “Sarah?”
Before he could react, Sarah’s claw shot out and cut through his arm at the elbow, severing it. “GET AWAY FROM ME!”
Alex screamed, grabbing his wound as it dripped blood. The crowd gasped in terror, and some of the ponies in the audience threw up. As he screamed Sarah cut off his left leg, causing him to fall backwards onto the ground.
Sarah backed up, “Get away, get away, GET AWAY!”
Death appeared between them. Snapping his fingers Sarah fell to the ground, out cold. He turned around and faced Alex and snapped his fingers again, stopping the blood. “Well then, because you reached a draw the one who took the most damage is the loser of this round. So Sarah wins Round 8!”
Kate, Johon and Fluttershy quickly ran towards them, picking up the severed arm and leg they put Alex on a stretcher and carried him off towards the infirmary. Death just snapped his fingers and Sarah joined him.
~Meanwhile~
Twilight stared in horror as they took Alex to the Infirmary she turned to Celestia, “Do you think Alex will be ok?”
Celestia shook her head, “I don’t know my faithful student, I hope that he heals.”
AJ and RD looked at each other and came to the silent agreement that the bet for this round was off.
The screen flashed drawing everyone's attention. “And now, for a commercial break.”
The screen showed a new commercial but no one watched as James tried to beat his sister’s car with a Cheetah. Even when he was getting mauled, the fight was still too fresh on everyone’s mind and even brought some ponies into a grimace.
~Infirmary 5 minutes later~
Alex was laying on a bed with Johon reattaching his limbs. The door opened and Sarah walked in, her head bowed low.
Johon turned and smiled faintly, “Hey Sarah, if you want to know how he’s doing I just finished attaching his limbs.” He paused for a moment before standing up, “I think I should leave you two alone for a bit.” He walked past Sarah and closed the door behind him.
Sarah walked over and pulled a chair, sitting down in it she frowned as she looked at him. “Hey...”
Alex smiled, “Hey, how are ye doing?”
She sighed, “Not so good... I’m just glad Death stopped me. Last time this happened, around a hundred people died, some of their bodies were comparable to a puddle, three buildings burned down, two armored cars were destroyed, and I killed myself about four or five times, I don’t really remember that part...”
Alex frowned, “Well I’m glad that I got off with a couple severed limbs. Besides, I need to apologize for that.”
“No, I should apologize. You didn’t know that would happen, and it’s my fault for not saying anything.”
“Well then it’s my fault for not saying anything about my second restriction.”
“I just... Let’s... How about we both take blame for not saying anything.”
“Well how bout this, if ye lose against Dean we can have a rematch. And if ye win, ye can fight Dean again. Sound good?”
She nodded slowly, “Wait, Dean? What? I- That’s... Al... right, I guess?”
An announcement rang through the arena, “The next fight will be Dean Vs. Sarah!....”
Sarah looked at the monitor. “Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh shit...”
“....After a quick break so our competitors can be in top shape!”

Round 9: The Shadow Vs. The Glacier
Dean and Sarah were walking into the arena, Sarah with a determined and nervous look on her face. Dean however...
“Billie jean is not my lover...” He quietly sang as he moonwalked into the arena.
Sarah cast a slightly annoyed glare at him, “Could you at least take this seriously?”
Dean quickly looked at her with a somewhat crazed look on his face, “What’s that? I can’t hear you with all my class.”
She raised an eyebrow at him, “Since when did ‘class’ and ‘douchiness’ become interchangeable?”
“It became that way when I could do this.” Instead of moonwalking, he began to moonrun to the center of the arena.
~Meanwhile~
Michael was staring at the screen. “How in the ever lasting FUCK is he doing... THAT!?
Alex turned towards him smirking. “He turned the moonwalk into a moonrun. I think he just beat you in terms of epic.”
Michael looked at him. “I think he beat all of us.”
“The day I see him make an entire universe his bitch is the day he beats me.”
A very faint, “Keep telling yourself that world-fucker!” was heard from somewhere not far away.
Alex cupped his hands over his mouth. “BITCH PLEASE, EVERYONE IN AZEROTH KNOWS I MADE THAT UNIVERSE MY BITCH!”
“There is a difference between making something your bitch, and having it become one out of sheer, insurmountable terror that you might do it again!”
“WHAT’S THAT? I CAN’T HEAR YOU OVER THE SOUND OF THE LICH KING FUCKING HIS WAY THROUGH SILVERMOON CITY!” Alex looked down at his chest. “Oh don’t lie to yourself, you basically fucked all of the blood-elf race.”
There was a silence, followed by a startled yelp as Alex felt the tell-tale signs of a wand being shoved all the way up his ass by an angry blood elf. “Shadow Bolt Shadow Bolt Shadow Bolt Force Wave fucking SHADOW BOLT!”
~Battlefield~
“... Glad I can’t do that then...”
Dean then sighed, “Don’t be such a goober Sarah!”
Her face screwed up in confusion, “The fucking fuck is a goober?”
“I’ll tell you when you’re older.”
As she reached the center with him, waiting for the round to begin, she mumbled to herself, “I’m twenty one years old God dammit...”
The arena then changed into familiar and quite lovable place for Dean. It was the city of Chicago, city of ‘so cold it snaps your nipples in half’ and enough dark alleys to let you perform drug deals without any problems whatsoever!
Looking around, Sarah asked, “Where are we this time?” She didn’t get an answer though, as Death appeared between them.
Bringing his hand down, he shouted, “Begin!”
Dean Vs. Sarah
Rebel 1, Action!
(Dean Vs. Sarah Theme)
Dean didn’t bring out his wraith blade at first, as he stood there with his hands in his pockets.
“Restriction levels 1 & 2, released!” Sarah’s claws formed into a blade, and she began to circle Dean cautiously.
“Restriction levels 1 & 2 released.” He said with a sigh. A pulse of blue fire shot off of him, and the air became colder. He smirked as he watched Sarah circle him. “Come on now, I ain’t got all day.”
“Walking in my Shadow.” Her shadow came up from the ground and took on a three dimensional form, while Sarah herself charged forward at Dean, blade pulled back to strike him.
Dean, not even that bothered, quickly grabbed Sarah’s left arm and threw her over his shoulder, making her slam on the ground with a thud and he jumped on top of a street light.
From her place on the ground, she said aloud, “Really should’ve seen that coming.” Climbing to her feet, she looked at Dean closely, hoping to figure out a way to fight him. Looking at the surrounding buildings, then her shadow, she got an idea, “Hmm, alright, this could work.” She rushed at him again, this time just cutting the street light down.
Dean, seeing her going for the street light, quickly jumped off and pulled out his sword hilt and formed an ice bow. He strung it back and unleashed a hail of ice spikes, “Arctic storm!”
Grabbing the street light, Sarah swung it to deflect one or two of the spikes, but she was still hit by a few of them. Giving a short grunt of frustration, she glared at Dean before throwing the street light at him full force.
Dean bent himself to the side, dodging the streetlight with ease, and strung another ice spike and launched it with as much strength as he could put into it.
She jumped away, still sustaining a gash in her leg from the spike, and brought her blade down in an arc towards Dean, “When Shadows Reign!” A large blade of shadow launched from her arm and flew towards Dean quickly.
Dean jumped out of the way, but his right side took some of the attack, leaving a slight gash. He looked at the gash with a slightly raised eyebrow and looked back at Sarah, “You know, have you tried actually, oh, I don’t know, Fighting? A little scratch like this isn’t going to help you in the long run.”
With a huff of annoyance, Sarah scowled at him, “That’s where you’re wrong, get him!” From the shadows of the building Dean landed under, Sarah’s shadow jumped out and latched onto him, it’s blade pressed tightly against his chest.
Dean scowled at the shadow, before he launched his next attack, “Arctic Dungeon!” the shadow then froze, leaving it immobilized. He then snapped the shadow in half, escaping from its grip. “Seriously?”
Using the shadow as a distraction, Sarah had gotten right behind him, and slashed her blade down his back multiple times, “Seriously.”
Dean, wincing from the pain, but still holding strong, spun around and lashed out his leg at Sarah’s chin and sent her flying into the air along with a black beam with a blue outline, “Infernal Rapture!” Dean jumped after her and grabbed her leg and threw into a building.
“Are you even trying...” Dean asked with fake concern in his voice.
~Meanwhile~
AJ whistled as she saw Dean land the kick. “I’m glad he doesn’t do that when he bucks the trees.”
Rainbow Dash stared at the results of the kick with a gaping jaw, “I want to learn how to do that...” She muttered. Dean just got a lot more cooler... pun not intended.
~Battlefield~
There was a silence from the hole she made in the building, followed by a shout, “Nevermore!” A flock of large ravens burst from the hole and flew apart in random directions before dive bombing Dean from all sides.
Dean, ignoring the picking at his flesh as much as he could, quickly activated his attack, “Arctic Dungeon!” the ravens all froze and fell to the ground and shattered. Dean took deep breaths, no longer in too much pain but he knew that this wasn’t over. He looked all around as he was prepared for anything to come at him.
The shattered pieces of the ravens soon began to converge at one place not far from Dean’s position. As soon as the shadows began to take on a vaguely human shape, an agonizing scream was heard coming from it. Not long after, Sarah’s body completely reformed, and she was writhing in pain on the ground, “Jesus... FUCKING CHRIST! That was painful...” She slowly staggered to her feet and jumped away from Dean, eyeing him warily.
Dean reached for his sword and activated it, humor no longer in his eyes, “Hurts, don’t it?” he asked. He glared at her, making mist come from his eyes as they glowed.
“I’m done fucking around,” he loosened his tie and removed it, “Try to keep up.” he said before he disappeared and reappeared right above her, delivering an ax-kick. It sent her back to the ground, making her bounce.
She got back to her feet and looked around wildly, trying to spot him. “I am pretty sure I just fucked myself on this one...”
She felt a slash hit her from the left, she turned in hopes of finding Dean, but saw nothing. She then felt a slash from the right, and repeated the process, but again saw nothing.
“Where are you looking?” Deans voice came from behind her. She turned, and just she turned fully, Dean slashed her in an X formation and appeared right behind her.
“Come on, I’m just starting.” He taunted.
Stumbling back from the strike, Sarah slightly struggled to regain her footing before glaring angrily at him, blood red energy coming off her now glowing eyes, “Fine.” She started quietly. “Alright then,” she started shouting, “fucking FINE!” She grinned evilly, “Two can play at that game!” She stared straight at him, before her body completely vanished, leaving behind a whisper, “The Day is Done...”
Without warning, the entire battlefield was shrouded in a layer of shadows, and Sarah’s voice rang out from all around, taking on a mocking tone, “Try to keep up~”
~Meanwhile~
Alex, who had laughed as Arlosia’s pathetic attempt to anally nuke him had failed, stared at the screen in sheer awe. “Son of a bitch, she turned the field into the realm of shadows.”
~VIP Booth~
Celestia looked at the screen with worry. “I hope Dean will be alright...”
Luna draped a wing across her. “He’ll be fine dear sister.”
AJ looked at Rainbow. “I think you might win again.”
Rainbow smirked. “You know it!”
~Battlefield~
“Dammit...” Dean swore under his breath. “This is going to be a pain in the ass, isn’t it?”
Instead of giving an answer, Sarah appeared right next to him and slashed downwards, which he was able to block in time. Just as that strike finished, however, another was sent at his other side, this one he only just managed to block. This happened more and more, the attacks becoming faster and harder to deflect, and his body soon began to accumulate more and more gashes and cuts.
“How’s this for fucking trying?” She hissed angrily in his ear, just before kicking him to the ground, sending him down with a few more slashes along his chest.
Dean rose to his knees, his hair blocking his eyes, but it didn’t hide the feral smirk on his face, “Okay then... That’s how you want to play?” He got up from the floor and rose to his feet. He then shouted to the sky, “HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT YOU BITCH!”
There was a wet slicing sound as the tip of Sarah’s blade pressed through his stomach, “You are going to regret that, Dean.” She pulled it from his back and kicked him forward.
Dean got up once more, blood running down his gut as he panted. ‘Goddammit, how the hell can I find her? She’s damn near invisible, and I can’t even see her! Wait... Oh duh...’
He hoped his idea works. He closed his eyes, ridding himself of one of his senses. Thus improving his sense of hearing. He could hear footsteps around him, giving him an idea on where to attack. With his eyes still closed, he grinned with triumph. He lashed his leg out and caught Sarah in the gut, stopping her from moving. “Found ya!” He shouted as he then created five ice clones with their own swords.
They all surrounded what looked like an invisible patch of shadows, and slashed wildly at the center. However, blood splattered onto them, signifying that Dean’s guess was correct. They slashed upwards, launching Sarah into the air. Dean teleported above her and delivered an ax-kick to her face, making her smack into the ground head first.
“Life sprinkler!”
~Meanwhile~
Rainbow was looking at the screen with her jaw nearly touching the ground. “How did he see her!?”
Twilight turned towards her. “He didn’t. He closed his eyes and listened for her.”
Rainbow pouted. “No fair...”
Celestia was staring off into space with blood running down her nose. Luna turned to her with a raised eyebrow. “Sister, art thou feeling well?”
Celestia kept staring and mumbled to herself. “So many Deans...”
~Battlefield~
After a few silent seconds, the shadows covering the battlefield shot together to one point, and Sarah was revealed at the center, nearly covered in her own blood. She lay there for a few tense moments, before shooting upwards into a crouching position. There was a slight hissing sound, followed by her right arm reverting to normal, then falling off and apart with a multitude of loud metallic clangs.
She gave a low, almost animalistic growl before giving the air a few quick sniffs. Her head suddenly snapped to the side to look at Dean, and he could see that her eyes were completely glazed over, the effects of using her previous ability blinding her.
~Meanwhile~
Alex looked at the screen with confusion. “The fuck!? How is she blind!?”
James turned and looked at him. “I don’t know... Nor do I wish to find out.”
They heard Arlosia say in a scared voice, “Oh fuck this is not good...”
~Battlefield~
“Oh this is just fucking typical.” He facepalmed. Here he was, battered and bruised, and the person he’s fighting goes blind. But then again, there’s plenty of things that are dangerous, even with a handicap. He readied his wraith blade and stood there, waiting for her to make a move.
After slowly circling him for a few seconds, Sarah suddenly pounced forward at him with her arm out, grabbing him and holding on tightly.
“Dumbass.” Dean sighed and made the surrounding area colder, “Arctic Dungeon!” He then saw Sarah instantly freeze.
He still prepared himself to fight however, expecting that she might break out and attack again. He was right, as the ice slowly began to crack, before shattering and allowing her to crouch down again, ready to attack. She did the same thing as before, launching herself at him in a pounce, only this time she clamped her teeth down on his left arm, shaking her head back and forth after she did so.
“You bitch!” he shouted and stabbed her straight through the chest. He kicked her backwards and deactivated his wraith blade and turned it back into an ice bow. “Arctic storm!” This time, all of the spikes hit their mark. They all converged on Sarah’s body and froze her in place.
“Fucking bite me!?! I’ll kick your ass even harder now!” he rushed forward at the still frozen Sarah, and right as she broke out, he kicked her in the chin and sent her into the air.
~Meanwhile~
Michael winced in pain as Sarah went flying. “Oh god, that has to hurt.”
Alex turned to him. “No shit Sherlock!”
~VIP Booth~
Celestia was looking at the scene with a frown. “Why is Dean acting like this?”
Luna shook her head. “We do not know. But we are confused as to how Sarah is acting, is she not a powerful opponent?”
Rarity turned to look at her. “Normally yes, however I’m afraid something might have happened.”
Twilight looked at Celestia. “I’ve seen Dean act like this once, back in Avalon when Nex and Dean were fighting.”
Celestia turned to her. “He was like this in Avalon?”
Twilight shook her head. “Not this angry.”
~Battlefield~
“Infernal Rapture!” He jumped up to meet her, and slashed her a couple times in the air and kicked her into the ground. As he descended, he wrapped a giant block of ice around his feet and trailed down after her, “Glacier Drop!” he shouted as he slammed on top of her, shattering ice everywhere.
After he jumped off and away, Sarah wasted no time in scrambling to her feet. By now, she was covered in her own blood from head to toe, her clothes were slashed and torn, and her body was faring no better. Her head started shooting around, and she began sniffing to try and find Dean. Once she did, she reacted unexpectedly. Instead of pacing around him or attacking again, she slowly and fearfully backed away, making sounds similar to a wounded and scared animal.
~Meanwhile~
James stared at the screen. “What the... WHY IS SHE SCARED!?”
Michael turned to him in fear. “I don’t know, but I know one thing. What if Dean got mad at us?”
Everyone in the locker room gave a shudder as the image passed through their minds. “Forget my question.”
~Battlefield~
Dean stared at the scene with a blank look, “Dafuk am I looking at...?” he asked no one in particular. Nonetheless, he kept his guard up. “Just in case, though...” he muttered as he gathered energy into his sword.
“Reaver blade.” his sword became straight, and energy overflowed from the hilt, ready to strike at a moments notice.
Again she reacted strangely. Just at the sound of any movement from him, let alone his voice, she flinched and backed away further. When he actually did speak, her eyes widened and she scurried back into a wall, pressing herself against it as closely as possible.
Dean, not used to Sarah acting like this, stood there. Thinking on what to do, until an idea came to him. He deactivated his wraith blade and slowly and quietly moved closer to her.
She, obviously, did not see him moving closer, and he was quiet enough to avoid being heard, so she only continued to press herself into the wall, frantically moving her head in all directions, failing to use her nose to sniff him out due to her fear.
“Sarah?” she heard.
As soon as she heard that, her entire body locked up. For a few tense seconds, all that was heard were her ragged breaths, which began to grow shorter and quicker. When Dean took another step and got within about a foot of her, she finally picked up his scent. Immediately, she scrambled away from him, tripping slightly due to fatigue and sustaining all the damage she did.
Before she could get far, Dean quickly froze her feet to the ground, completely immobilizing her. The ice encased most of her body, leaving her shoulders and head unfrozen. The ice was incredibly thick, enough to hold her, Dean guessed.
To put it simply, she panicked. More specifically, she instinctively used her Vampire’s Fang ability on all the blood covering her frozen body, while she was still trapped alongside it. The result was the ice being weakened enough to shatter, but it also nearly eviscerated all of her flesh, leaving hundreds upon hundreds of gashes all over her body, her bones even showing through in some spots. She stumbled around, blood and small pieces of flesh falling from her body. After one more step her right foot detached, and she slumped forward, barely keeping herself up.
~Meanwhile~
James and Michael were staring at the screen with horror in their eyes. Amy had run to go puke, Tech and Jay turned to each other before running out towards the Arena. Alex was looking for something in his bag.
Jav was staring at the screen with a look of silent anger on his face, his hands gripping his cane tightly as it was starting to crack the ground from the pressure. He said through gritted teeth, “I don’t care what it takes, if he doesn’t give me a good enough reason not to, I will kill him...” Arlosia just stood beside him, her face pale and devoid of any emotion beyond fear.
~VIP Booth~
The ponies in the booth were staring at the screen with varying levels of fear. Twilight, Rainbow, and AJ went pale. Rarity had fainted, not before throwing up in a bag. Luna was staring in shock, while Celestia was looking on in anger. “I will have a word with him shortly. I believe it would be for the best.”
The other ponies (excluding Rarity) nodded quickly.
~Battlefield~
“SHITSHITSHIT!!!!” Dean panicked as he charged at her and quickly delivered a kick to the side of her head, knocking her out. The arena quickly changed back into a grassy field. “MEDIC!!!” Dean shouted. Kate and Johon quickly ran out with a stretcher, Tech and Jay following them. Dean scowled. “FUCK THAT SHIT I’LL CARRY HER!” Dean lifted her over his shoulder, despite how heavy she was and ran to the exit, Tech and Jay ran towards the center and started picking up the pieces of her right arm and went directly to the infirmary with the two medics trailing after them.
Death appeared in the middle of the arena. “Well... The winner of round nine is Dean!” There were no cheers. All of the audience members were stunned into silence, and were unsure how to react.
~Infirmary~
Dean was pacing in the hallway as Johon was working on Sarah. He came out and looked at Dean. “I can’t do anything, she’s been beaten up too badly...” He trailed off as a noise was heard further down the hall.
The door was kicked open as Alex came running in, holding his spell book. “Sorry, pardon me. Gotta save a life here.” He ran into the room containing Sarah and looked at her. She barely looked human, and to put it bluntly she looked like fifty different kinds of fucked up. Her entire body was covered in lacerations of varying size, length, and depth. Her torso was practically mutilated, half of her metallic ribs showing clearly through. The metal plate on her left arm had long since been torn off, showing the rather nasty scarring underneath, which was only taken further by the tearing and cutting around it.
Her left hand had some of the flesh missing from her fingers, showing the skeletal structure underneath. Along her forearm were several deep cuts, which ran all the way to the bone. The side of her head where Dean had kicked her to knock her out suffered some heavy damage as well. Her cheek had been torn, showing off her jaw, and the blood vessels in the eye had been ruptured, blood slowly trickling out from it.
Her legs were a different story. They had, not only severe frost burns, but also several lacerations and cuts. Almost all of her left leg was cut open, and most of the bone showing. Her prosthetic right foot managed to survive, having been plated with the same metal that coated her bones, but the connectors were busted, and would need slight repairing.
The bed she was resting on was soaked in blood, and everyone was staring at her, uncertain of what to do.
Alex quickly walked over, while Dean watched from the hallway, and he gently placed his hand on her head. “Vi lumine curare vulnus.” A glowing light encompassed Sarah as her body began to float a little of the bed as the light increased in brightness. A clanging sound could be heard coming from Sarah’s body as Alex grunted in exsertion.
The light faded and Alex was standing there panting as he was staring at the bed. A majority of the injuries she had gained were completely healed, however she still had a considerable amount on her legs and a few on her stomach.
Alex turned back towards everyone, his face showing nothing but exhaustion. “I... Did it...” He blinked before he fell forward, completely unconscious. Johon ran in and placed him on the other bed, he then turned and started healing Sarah again.
Dean took a look into the room after Sarah was healed, then turned and walked away. He kept walking until he was about to leave the arena when he heard a familiar voice speak up from behind him, “Where do you think you’re going?” It was Jav who spoke, his voice both calm and angry at the same time.
Without turning around, Dean answered him in a voice devoid of emotion, “Going to clear my head.”
He half expected Jav to argue, or even strike him, but that wasn’t the case. Instead, the old necromancer let out a sigh and told him, “At least you’re being sensible about this. I felt the same way you do when I killed my sister and mother, and I never tried to keep a clear head about it, let my anger and hatred eat me up inside. Just... Promise you’ll try and make it up to her.”
Dean turned around to face him now, and answered him with noticeable sadness in his voice, “Count on it.”
With a nod, Jav left him on his way and headed back to the infirmary. On his way back, however, he bumped into someone, “Oh, hello Kate. Going after Dean, I assume?”
She nodded. “I think he needs someone to talk to at the moment.”
“Yes,” He replied, “He probably does. Well, while you do that, I am going to head back to the infirmary, see how Johon is doing with healing Sarah.” With that, he walked off.
Kate turned and quickly made her way down the hallway, after leaving the arena she spotted Dean resting near a wall. She walked over and sat down next to him. “Hey Dean.”
Dean turned to her surprised, “K-kate...” he faltered. If one looked closely, hints of fallen tears were seen on Dean’s face.
“You want to talk, or...”
“I... I’m fine. Don’t worry about me so much.” He tried to grin.
“Dean, don’t lie. I can see the tear stains. It’s not healthy to keep what’s going on inside you locked up.”
Dean was silent for a moment, before he nodded. “Fine... you win.”
Kate smiled sadly. “You know Sarah is going to be fine, right?”
Dean nodded, “Yeah. I stayed and made sure of it. I wasn’t needed at the moment.”
“Well you’re going to be needed soon, Sarah won’t stay asleep forever. And I think she needs someone there to keep her calm, or keep her from hurting herself again.”
Dean laughed bitterly, “I tried that already. Look how that turned out.”
“She was scared, you unintentionally put her in a situation where escape was the only option. I’ve seen stuff like this in Fluttershy’s animals. So if you’re there to calm her, then she should be fine.”
Dean looked at her before laughing, “Jesus Kate... Since when did you become such a therapist?”
She shrugged, “It’s not hard, you just help those who need it... Now come on,” She stood up and held out a hand, “I think you should hurry.”
Dean took her hand and rose to his feet. He paused for a moment before suddenly hugging her, “I know I never got to say this, but I’m sorry for not being there those two years...”
She hugged him back, “It’s fine... Somehow we managed to meet up once again.”
Dean laughed, “You know, I may be quite a bit older than you, But you’ll always be that little girl that I helped raise.”
“And I don’t mind that one bit.”
Dean chuckled lightly, “Go on ahead, I need to stay out here a little bit, clear my head.”
She let go frowning, “Don’t take too long.” She sighed softly before walking back inside, leaving Dean to his thoughts.
Dean sighed before closing his eyes and leaning against the wall. He was left in peace until a flash of light made it’s way through his eyelids. Opening them, he saw Celestia standing in front of him.
She was glaring at him. “Would you kindly explain to me what happened back there?”
Dean looked her straight in the eyes, “Have you ever been so used to reacting to something in such a way that it’s almost second nature to you?”
She blinked, “Yes... I’ve dealt with something like that for a while now.”
He rubbed the back of his head, “That’s... Kinda what happened to me. I’m used to reacting that way to monsters that acted like that, and my instincts kicked in.”
Celestia made an ‘oh’ of understanding. “I see, you didn’t mean to have that happen. But I trust you’re going to go and make sure she’s fine?” Dean nodded silently in response, and she turned and left, saying as she did so, “Good, please see that you do so soon.”
After a couple minutes the pitter patter of shoes was heard coming down the hall. Turning, Dean saw Amy walk out and stare at him. “Hey Dean.”
“Yo.” He responded.
She blinked, “So... What’s going on?”
He sighed, “A lot of shit that I didn’t mean to happen, happened. That’s what’s going on.”
She huffed indignantly, “Okay then, why?”
He looked at her, “You know what I was, Amy, and you know what I was trained to do if something like that happens.”
She sighed, “Yeah... Well, just make sure you check in on Sarah. Okay?”
Dean gave another sigh “Yeah, I know.”
There was silence for a couple seconds before Amy started walking away. “See you later Dean.”
~Infirmary~
Alex woke up slowly, his head felt as if the gnomes decided to party in it. He looked over and saw Sarah still laying in bed, asleep. Johon was nowhere to be seen and the room had been cleared out.
After a few moments, she began to stir. Sitting up, she opened her eyes and blearily looked around, her eyes no longer glazed over. She shifted her right shoulder and leg, and her eyes shot wide open. Looking between the two missing appendages quickly, her face scrunched up in anger, “God dammit my foots gone again!”
“Ye can get it later...”
She didn’t seem to hear him as she looked around frantically, before calming and rubbing the side of her head with her good hand, “No, no, stay calm, it’s no big deal, it can be fixed. Stay calm, stay calm, GOD DAMMIT I SAID STAY FUCKING CALM!” Her arm shot out to the side and into the wall behind her, smashing some of the stone and leaving the surrounding area full of cracks.
At this moment, Dean had finally returned to the infirmary and noticed the large cracks in the wall. “OI! SARAH!” He shouted to get her attention.
She stopped looking around and stared at him, before smiling, “Hey Dean!”
For the second time she’s met him, he was acting nervous. “You... you okay?”
She sighed and rolled her eyes, “Not really, my damn arm and foot are gone! Any idea where they are?”
Dean looked ashamed for a moment before weakly grinning, “No idea...”
She shrugged, “Alright, I’ll find them later. So, how’d the rest of the match go? I can’t really remember much after my Day is Done thing was over.”
Dean looked... sad, for some reason. “Well... You kind of...” he trailed off.
She stared at him curiously, before realization struck her, “Ooooooohhhh shit, I went blind again, didn’t I?”
Dean laughed bitterly, “That was the least of your worries at the moment.” He moved his sleeve up to reveal the deep bite wounds. “Got me good.”
Sarah leaned back and sighed, rubbing her face with her hand, “God dammit, why do I keep doing that!? Every damn time I go blind, fucking... Gah, this is one of the reasons I hate A.N.G.E.L. so much...”
Dean sighed, “Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only thing that happened.”
She tilted her head to the side, “What do you mean?”
Dean hesitated for a moment before he spoke, “When you went blind, you kind of went batshit. The fight continued.”
“I... know I went batshit, that’s what I was referring to about “every damn time I go blind”, it’s how I started fighting when those doctors wanted to fuck around and take away my sight.”
Dean shook his head, “That’s not what I meant. You went batshit and tried to fight me by acting like an animal. It... Well, it didn’t work out in your favor too well.” He began recounting all of the injuries she sustained when Dean attacked her in her blind state.
She blinked slowly when he finished, before asking, “Is... Is that all, or... What, anything else?”
Dean stared at her with widened eyes, “What the hell do you mean!?!” He exclaimed.
“Well,” she began, “I saw recordings of how I acted when fighting like that back in the facility, and I know how badly I got fucked up when doing so. What you did is maybe the... Third worst, at most, of any injuries I got from doing that. At least I got to keep one of my limbs this time, lost my arm before.”
Dean’s eye twitched violently.
“You alright Dean?”
“GOD FUCKING DAMMIT SARAH!” He exploded. He punched the wall she punched, nearly destroying it, “I was worried the entire time, thinking that if you didn’t pull through your blood would have been on my hands! Do you have any Idea the amount guilt and hatred for myself I just experienced!?” Tears were actually falling this time, showing his distress.
Sarah stared at him blankly, “So because I’m actually okay, you’re angry about ever having been worried? What, if you knew I would’ve been fine, would you have been acting like that never even happened?”
Dean looked at her exasperated, “No! That’s not what I meant! I just...” he stopped mid-sentence.
“Alex, where are my arm and foot?” He just pointed to a table next to the bed, where they were being kept in a drawer. She opened it up and pulled out a large cloth bag containing the pieces to her arm, as well as her foot. Carrying the bag, she walked out of the infirmary saying almost bitterly, “I’m going to go see about putting these back on, talk to you later.”
Before she could exit the area, a thick wall of Ice blocked her path. “Sorry Sarah, but this needs to be said.”
With a sigh, she turned to face Dean with an annoyed look, “Make it quick, I want these back on sometime soon.”
Dean sighed before looking at her sadly, “Look, something like this isn’t easy for me to say. It never has been. Not after all of the betrayals I’ve been through. But...”
She motioned for him to continue, “Yes?”
“Well... I guess you could say you’re like family to me. I wasn’t angry at you, just myself. I overreacted, just like when I fought you, and now my emotions are just all kinds of shit right now.”
“Look, Dean,” she walked over and wrapped him in a one-armed hug, “I’m not too angry at you, I’m mostly just annoyed that my damn foot is likely broken. If it’s any consolation, I’m glad you were concerned for me.” She let go and held up the bag, “I really do need to get this fixed though, it’s hard walking around with one foot you know.”
Dean then realized something and started glowing blue.
“Why are you...” She realized and looked down, “Really? God dammit Dean...”
Dean coughed and removed his coat and gave it to her. “Here. It’s the least I could do.”
“Um...” She held the coat in her hands, then tossed it over her shoulder, “Nah.”
“You gotta make this difficult?” He glared at her.
She noticed his glare, “Like what you see?”
His glow came back full force, “W-what...?”
“Oh don’t be shy...” She walked up to him and got right in his face, “You know Alex does have a gender changing spell...”
Alex spoke up, “Yep, speaking of which...” he grabbed a mana potion from his bag and downed it quickly. “Now I should be good to go.”
Suddenly a silver light construct wrench slammed into the side of his head. Amy could be heard yelling from the hallway. “Try it and I’ll do a lot
Alex muttered a couple words under his breath and a wall of arcane energy appeared in front of the ice wall. “We should be safe now.”
Dean had retreated to a corner saying ‘nope’ over and over again, while Sarah stared at him in amusement, “Oh I could have so much fun with this...” She shook her head and looked at the door, “Now please get rid of these, I need to find a few things if I want my foot back on.”
Alex smiled. “Of course.” He looked at the doorway, muttered a word under his breath and the obstacles blocking the doorway disappeared. He slumped over with a groan, “I hate using this much energy.”
“Thank you.” She stood there and thought for a second, muttering to herself, “Okay, I’ll need,” she pulled out the disconnected foot and looked it over, “seven, half-inch screws, a phillips head screwdriver, some copper wire... Damn I’ll need a new nerve connecter, that’ll be a bitch to get. Hmm, I might need some more circuits as well, maybe... Well, this won’t be easy to do.” She looked over at Alex, “Know where I can get a Gx-398 short range capacitor?”
Alex grinned, “Is it a round cylinder thing with squiggles on it?”
She stared at him blankly before looking back to the foot, “Technological retard...” She looked at him again, “What about 19P-43 N-S connecter?”
Alex blinked, “You suddenly sound like the gnomes...”
“What?” She shook her head, “Nevermind. Do you at least know where I can get some God damned screws and a screwdriver? Or do you not know what those are either?”
He tossed them to her, “I’m not a dumbass, I think ye need those more than the goblins do.”
Because she was holding the bag, they just smacked her in the face. “Thanks.” She said sarcastically.
“Ye’re welcome!”
She kicked the bed she had been using at him, “Stop sounding so happy.”
Alex jumped up and hung from the ceiling, “I wasn’t being happy, I was being normal.”
“Still, stop it.”
“That’s like telling The Dark Titan to stop hate boning Argus, it ain’t happening.”
Arlosia’s voice came from down the hall, “Same could be said for you!”
“I DON’T HATE BONE!”
“Keep telling yourself that!”
Sarah looked at the door again, “Oh yeah, I should probably tell everyone I’m alright...”
James suddenly came to a skidding halt outside her door. “I HEARD SCREAMING IS EVERY-” he stopped and surveyed the room, blinking as he saw Sarah. “-Nevermind. I’ll just go... that way..... maybe find some brain bleach...”
Before he could leave, Sarah wrapped her arm around his shoulders, “Sup?” James promptly collapsed. “Pussy.”
Amy came back into the room and grabbed James by his foot. “Come on you idiot...” She stopped, dropping the limb as she stared at Sarah. “Oh... Hey Sarah. You, uh, feeling okay?”
“Depends,” she said, “on whether I can fix my foot or not. Damn connectors need fixing, and I don’t think I can get new ones around here.”
Amy let out a sigh of relief as she grabbed James’ leg once more. “Alright then, I got to get this Idiot to the Arena. The loser’s bracket starts next. Announcement said it was him Vs. O’Leary.” She dragged James halfway before stopped. “Heh, James Vs. James.” She kept chuckling to herself as she dragged the now semi-conscious James down the hall.
James groaned as she dragged him over a large bump. “I've got to stop being surprised by these people....”

Round L1: The Sun Vs. The Flame
James and O’Leary, who was at least a little more sober but still drunk, were standing in the center of the arena.
O’Leary looked over to James and said with a slur “Hey, laddy? Hows bout we get this show on the road?”
James cracked his neck and readied his guns. “That’s what I’ve been waiting for.” The arena faded out into the Karakum Desert near the “Door to Hell”.
Death appeared between them. “Are you prepared?” Both James and O’Leary nodded. Death brought his hand down between the two. “BEGIN!”
James Vs. O’Leary
Rebel 1, Action!
(James Vs. O'Leary)
Both James and O’Leary circled each other like a pair of animals before shouting. “Releasing first restriction!/Releasing first restriction!”
O’Leary began to crackle with flames as James’ guns morphed into a pair of magnum revolvers. “Lets see if ya can stand the heat” O’Leary shouted drunkenly. He pulled his desert eagles from their holsters and fired off a few rounds towards James.
James flipped back and dodged most of the shots, one hit him in the thigh and caused him to roll in the sand. James pulled himself into a sitting position before managing to painfully stand up. “Fuck that hurt....Light Puppets!” With a flick of his wrist, many small figurine sized O’Learys that ran at the original.
O’Leary, in his hammered state, thought this was a party trick and yelled “Nice trick laddy. Now let me show ya one. Sentient Flame”. With that O’Leary became flame himself and just stood there in a stupor. The miniatures looked at each other and started doing some tribal dance around him as if he were a god calling him the Fire King.
~Meanwhile~
Alex stared at the scene with amusement written all over his face. “Well this brings back some memories.”
Kate looked at him, “How so?”
“All I need to say is that the silithid are a bit obsessive.”
~Battlefield~
James eye twitched as he watched this. “The Fuck......is that?” James was looking around the arena looking for a way to take out a living flame. How the heck do you fight a fire in a desert!? The thought of water came to his mind but was quickly put aside. Okay fire needs fuel and... Oxygen! “Light Shield!”
A shield formed around O’Leary and sealed away the flame. As the flames started to go out O’Leary realized that he didn't need to breath. O’Leary said aloud in wonder “I can do a nonstop Keg Stand!!!” Looking at the shield in his inebriated state he tried to simply punch it.
His fist collided with the shield and made a small crack. He punched it repeatedly making the crack grow bigger.
James was busy getting to his feet and looked at O’Leary. “Explosive Shot!” His right pistol then began to reform into a Bazooka. The moment the shield broke he grinned. “Eat this, mother fucker!” The rocket flew into the ground at O’Leary’s feet and detonated, sending him flying back towards the edge of the hole.
~Meanwhile~
Rainbow looked at the screen as O’Leary went flying. “His aim still sucks.”
AJ nodded and leaned back in her seat. “Eeyup.” They looked at each other before falling to the ground laughing.
~Battlefield~
O’Leary, recovering from the blow, said sarcastically “Well that was quite the blowhard move. Now if you want a real good boom you use alot of fire! Giant Flame Emperor!” With that O’Leary then began to form a giant ball of fire in his outstretched hand. When it got to the size of a beach ball the ponies in the stands behind O’Leary began to sweat.
When it reached 10 ft. in circumference O’Leary tossed it gently up and down saying “Lets play some catch Laddy. I’ll toss first” and threw it straight for James.
James dodged to the side as the ball crashed into the ground. The flames scorched the sand forming a glass crater. “Shit, that was close.” James looked at the crater and got an idea. With a slam of his hand, a light construct pillar shot out of the ground underneath the glass forming a large magnifying glass angling towards O’Leary. “Just like ants in the backyard.”
~Meanwhile~
Amy facepalmed as she looked at her brother. “What is that idiot doing?”
Dean was also facepalming as he sat next to her. “I don’t know.”
Alex walked into the locker room and tilted his head, “Really? That’s... retarded.”
~Battlefield~
O’Leary in his drunken stupor stood as the dot of light sat on his head. “Oy” O’Leary shouted in annoyance “Get that light lower. I still have a hangover. Give a man a little peace”
James realized that the light was doing nothing more than light a small portion of O’Leary’s forehead on fire. “This is going nowhere.” He decided to change tactics and slam the glass into O’Leary.
O’Leary, being stupid in his drunken state, tried to catch the glass with his hands and, with the momentum of the glass, was pushed back into the hole. As he fell in he saw it was filled with fire and lava. ‘Meh could be me falling into a liquid nitrogen bath’ O’Leary thought. When O’Leary hit the bottom he just laid back and relaxed as it felt like a warm bath.
From out of the hole James heard O’Leary shout “I Quit. I need another drink NOW!!!”
Death appeared and with that the stage went back to normal. “The Winner of Losers bracket, Round one is James.” Death declared.
From the ground O’Leary said “But I quit.”
Death facepalmed and said “Not you James the other James.”
~Meanwhile~
Alex stared blankly at the screen before clapping his hands. “Fucking brilliant, ten out of ten would watch again.”
Michael’s eye twitched, “He quit the match... for a drink...”
Dean sighed, “I understand that feeling.”
Suddenly the screen changed and showed a logo for Old Spice. “And now... a word from our sponsors.”
The screen changed and showed Jay wearing nothing but a towel in a bathroom with the shower running. “Hello ladies. Look at your man, now back to me, now back at your man, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped using lady scented body wash and switched to Old Spice,” Jay brought out a bottle of Old Spice bodywash. “He could smell like he’s me.”
The shower moved off screen and was replaced by a ship. “Look down. back up. where are you?” A shirt with the sleeves tied landed on his shoulders and the towel was removed to show a pair of white pants. “You’re on a boat with the man your man could smell like. What’s in your hand? Back to me.” Jay moved the bottle off screen without looking away and brought forth an oyster that opened to reveal two tickets.“It’s an oyster with two tickets to that thing you love. Look again.”
The oyster fell out of his hand and diamonds flowed freely from his hand. “The tickets are now diamonds!” The camera zoomed out and revealed an island beach in the background and the fact that Jay was on a pony. Namely Big Mac. “Anything is possible when your man smells like Old Spice and not a lady. I’m on a horse.”
TV Big Mac looked up at him indifferently as a jingle was whistled in the background. “Git off.”
Alex blinked before slowly putting his palm to his face. “It’s going to be one of those days, isn’t it?”
The screen flashed and showed a picture of Amy and Michael. “The next round of the loser’s bracket will be Amy vs. Michael.”
