Mare of Liberty

"Where are we going and why do we have to go to Manehattan just for it?" Amabel asked as we walk down the sidewalk.

"Manehattan has one of the greatest attractions here in Equestria." I said to her. After walking for a minute, we arrived at a local coffee shop called 'Steerbucks'. "We're just gonna stop here for a moment since I needed to buy some coffee to wake myself up." we went inside of the shop. We walked towards the counter and got greeted by a mare unicorn who is handling the counter.

"What would you like?" the mare.

"Two Steerbucks Double shot energy coffee drink." I said to the mare with a smile. I turned my head to Amabel. "Do you want to buy something?" I asked Amabel.

"Let me pick." Amabel replied. Amabel gazed on the menu on top of the counter. "I'll have a..." she raised her head slowly. "Cinnamon Roll and a Caffè Mocha." Amabel said to the mare in front of her. The mare nodded and then left the counter.

"Have you ever been in Steerbucks before?" I asked Amabel.

"I have, and if you are gonna ask if it is Samphy related, then the answer is no." I chuckled at Amabel's answer. The mare returned, while levitating a tray with the food we ordered.

"That will be sixteen bits." the mare said as she levitated the paper bag at the counter. I opened my saddle and brought out sixteen bits. I gave the mare the sixteen bits. "Thank you for choosing Steerbucks." I balanced the tray on my head. I laid down the tray in one of the tables inside of the shop. Amabel and I took a seat near the table.

"Here is your Cinnamon Roll." I gave Amabel her Cinnamon Roll. I took one of the energy drinks and placed it inside of my saddle. I opened the other one and took a sip. I noticed how cute Amabel looks like while eating the Cinnamon Roll. "How's the Cinnamon Roll?" Amabel moved the Cinnamon Roll away from her muzzle a bit.

"Still taste the same as the last time I bought some in Starbucks." Amabel said to me with a smile. I saw some bread bits near Amabel's muzzle.

"You got something on your face." I took a tissue on the tissue dispenser in front of us. "Here let me." I wiped Amabel's muzzle with the tissue. I heard two ponies whispering behind me.

"What a cute couple." whispered by the pony behind me.

"I hope I can find a stallion that will care for me too." the other pony whispered. I just sighed after I finished removing some bread bits on Amabel's muzzle. I grabbed my coffee and then resumed drinking it. I placed the can at the table after I drank the whole can.

"After you're done eating, we will be heading to the Mare of Liberty." I said to Amabel. Amabel nodded as she munch on the Cinnamon Roll. After Amabel finished eating, we walked out of the shop and then walked down the sidewalk.

"Hey Pico." Amabel asked.

"What?" I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Can I hold on to your front leg?" Amabel gave a sheepish smile.

"You do know that it is hard to walk on three legs right?" I showed her what I look while walking on three legs.

"It fits you appearance perfectly." I quickly brought down my right leg.

"That kinda hurts me."

"Just let me hold on to you." Amabel moved closer to me.

"I can't believe I am letting you do this to me." I reached out my left front leg. Amabel quickly hold on to my right front leg.

"You told me that you want me to have fun, well, this is fun." Amabel smiled at me. After walking for minutes with only three legs, we finally reached the Mare of Liberty. We walked inside the elevator in the Mare of Liberty. The elevator was a bit crowded so I was pressed against Amabel for a minute. After the elevator reached the top, I quickly removed Amabel's grip on my right front leg and then rushed outside of the elevator. I gasped for a lot of air. After I got some air back, I noticed that I was at the edge of the crown of the Mare of Liberty, and if it weren't for the bar that is in front of me, I would have fallen of the crown. I slowly walked away from the edge and then started to shake. I was startled by Amabel as soon as she put a hoof on my shoulder. "Is there anything wrong?" Amabel raised an eyebrow.

"As much as I hate to say it but, I'm afraid of heights." I tried to stop my body from shaking but it ain't working.

"Then why did you brought me here if you are afraid of heights?" Amabel wrapped her hoof around my neck. "Don't worry, I'll be here for you." Amabel smiled at me. Amabel pushed me slowly to the edge of the floor.

"I know that you will always be here with me, but this is not helping." I closed my eyes and then tried to back away.

"Just look at me in the eye." I slowly opened my eyes and saw Amabel's beautiful blue eyes. "Just focus on my eyes." I nodded. Amabel walked me slowly to the edge. "Now, try to admire the view just beside you." Amabel turned my head. As soon as I saw the view, my body stopped shaking. "It isn't really that scary, right?" I turned my head to look at Amabel.

"I know it isn't scary, it's because... I'm just not used to it, ever since I was a colt, I've always been afraid of heights." I gave Amabel a sheepish smile.

"Well, at least now you're not." Amabel smiled at me. I noticed that Amabel was slowly moving her face closer to mine. I slowly moved my face closer to her without have a double thoughts. Before my muzzle could meet hers, a bright flash startled us. We both yelped as a random pegasus photographer took a photo of us.

"Would you two like to have a picture?" the pegasus asked.

"Oh uh... Sure, how much?" I replied to the pegasus.

"Three bits."

"Sure."

"Now you two move closer to each other." the pegasus prepared his camera. Amabel and I moved closer to each other. "Okay on three... One... Two... Three..." before the camera flashes, Amabel kissed me on the cheeks. "Lets just wait for the picture to clear out." the pegasus grabbed the picture that came out of the bottom of the camera. "Here it is." the pegasus gave me two photos. "The first one is free since tomorrow is Hearth's Warming Eve." said by the pegasus with a smile.

"Thanks." I said to the pegasus as I brought out three bits from my saddle. "Happy advanced Hearth's Warming Eve." I gave the pegasus three bits. The pegasus nodded and then left.

"Let me see." said Amabel as she grabbed one of the picture. After the pictures have cleared out, the first one was when Amabel and I were about to kiss, the second one was when Amabel suddenly kissed me. "That went well." said Amabel while chuckling.

"It would have been better if you didn't suddenly kissed me on the cheeks." I said to her.

"Oh come on, you're cute while you're blushing, just look at your blushing cheeks." Amabel pointed the picture with her hoof.

"You're cute too when you blush."

"What did you say?" Amabel raised an eyebrow at me.

"I said, you're cu-." the pony behind me suddenly bumped me, causing me to move my muzzle closer to Amabel which ended with a kiss. I quickly backed away, moving away from Amabel's now blushing face. "Uh... I said you're cuter when you blush." I gave Amabel a sheepish smile. Amabel touched her muzzle with her hoof.

"Thanks? I guess." said Amabel timidly.

"Maybe we should go to our next destination?" Amabel nodded. I placed the photos inside of my saddle as we waited for the elevator. After we have gotten inside the elevator, it was filled up by ponies in less than five seconds. Again, we were compressed to each other at the back of the elevator. "Hey Amabel." I said to Amabel timidly. "Don't you think it is kind of embarrassing to kiss one another in a place where there are many ponies?"

"Why don't we find out." Amabel met my muzzle with her muzzle. My mind went blank for a second before I realized that Amabel was now exploring my tongue inside of the elevator filled with ponies. I quickly pushed her tongue out of my mouth with my tongue and then started exploring her mouth. I could hear her soft moans inside of my mouth. After a minute, I didn't notice that the elevator was already empty and there was a crowd of ponies outside of the elevator, waiting for us to come out. I quickly released from the kiss.

"Sorry everypony, just got a little bit excited." I said to the crowd as I walk through them while grabbing Amabel with me. After we got out of the Mare of Liberty, I released Amabel's hoof slowly. "It is embarrassing." I said to her.

"But it's fun." Amabel said to me with a smile. I sighed as I roll my eyes.

"Lets just go to the amusement park." I reached out my right front leg. Amabel held on to it as we walk down the sidewalk.
