Who Am I?

"Jack! Wait!"

"I'm sick of this, Rainbow!"

"Of what?"

"Being the only one of my species! I want to find my family! My real family!"

"What's wrong with your family now?"

"I don't care right now. I'm looking for my REAL family. Don't try and stop me."

I ran home, leaving Rainbow standing, worrying. I snuck up the walls of my home and and quickly packed some of my things that I'll need for a long journey, including plenty of food, clothing, the amulet, and stuff to entertain myself. Mostly books.

After packing, I left a note.

Dear mom, dad, and Clap:

I'm leaving. I cannot hold it in any longer. I am beginning my search for my family. My species. My world. I may never return, but always know that I'll love you all. And thank you for taking care of me. Goodbye.

I love you all-

I placed it on the desk, took a few bits, and opened the door to begin my adventure.

Canterlot, the Royal Castle, the Throne Room

I was about to enter the throne room when I was stopped by the guards in front of the door, However, they didn't speak.

"C'mon! I need to talk to the princess! Let me in!"

They continued to extend their wings, preventing me from entering. I was about to give up when the door opened. A blinding light flooded the hallway. My eyes were throbbing. The guards didn't even blink. I tried to block the light. I could barely make out a figure. It was the princess.

"Let him in."

"Yes, princess."

The guards folded their wings and allowed me to enter. The princess begins to walk way, but looks back, grins, and motions for me to follow. I do so.

Canterlot, the Royal Castle, Princess Celestia's chambers

The princess led me to her chambers. She laid down on her pillows, where she wrote her letters.

"Now. What do I owe the honor of assisting the only human in Equestria?"

"Princess, I-"

"You may call me Celestia."

"Very well. Celestia, I want to find my family."

"Do you not have a family already in Ponyville?"

"No, I mean my human family."

"Well, helping find humans in Equestria is very difficult. Humans themselves are almost unheard of in this world."

"I understand that, but I found this near the Ponyville School." I gave her the amulet. The same look that Twilight had on her face poured on Celestia's face.

"Are you alright, Celestia?"

"I'm sorry, Jack. I just, saw something. I'm fine. This certainly placed a very big piece on the puzzle."

"I do not to need to know much. All I need is to know where to go."

"Very well. You must first know how to control your powers."

My eyes widened.

"How did you know I have powers?"

Celestia used her magic to lift the amulet.

"Oh."

"Do not worry. There is a way for you to be able to learn on how to control your power very quickly. Read this."

She closes her eyes and her horn begins to glow a bright blue aura. Electricity began to flow on the outside fo the horn. Soon, a scroll appeared. It opened. There was symbols that I did not understand, until I began to read it.

"A ra cumba col du le few la tra..."

Somehow I was able to then understand and read it out loud. I looked at my hand. I could see electricity flowing throughout my body. A chill went up my spine. I could feel my hair raise up a bit. I looked at Celestia. She was levitating a magic target.

"Lift your hand and aim at this. Then expand you hand."

I did as she said and lifted my hand. I could feel energy entering my hand. I expanded on the target. Lightning came out of my hand and struck the target with great force and destruction. My hand felt sore for a few seconds, but the feeling went away.

"You can do much more, but you must learn it on your own."

"How will I know?"

"You will. Now go to the Galloping Gorge. The rest will appear to you. Good luck, Jack."

"Thank you, Celestia."

"My pleasure. Now go. I have another visitor."
