Harry Potter: Into Darkness Part 3

Ron grabbed some Basilisk  teeth from the nearby skeleton and handed one to Hermione. The rest he stuffed in his pocket.

“You do it.” he said.

“I can’t.” Hermione said.

“Yes you can.” Ron assured her as he knelt down.

Hermione knelt down and placed the cup on the floor. The two looked at each other for a while in silence. Then, Hermione lifted up the fang and then with all her might stabbed the cup. A few seconds after she stabbed the cup it rolled into the water around them and the water began to form a tidal wave. Before they could get out of the way the water slammed into them soaking them.

There they stood, soaking wet. Hermione looked at Ron and Ron looked back.

Ron smiled and said, "You're amazing."

"Thanks. You too," she said before the both of them ran at each other and kissed each other passionately.

“R-Ron.” Hermione said breaking the kiss “Wow. Why?”

“You must understand, Hermione” Ron explained “I-I love you. I’ve loved you for quite some time. In fact, ever since I laid eyes on you. I’ll never be Draco but even then….I’ll always love you.”

“Ron, I have something to tell you.” Hermione said.

“What?” Ron asked “If I’ve offended you…”

“No, it’s not that.” Hermione said putting her hands on his cheeks “You see, Ron, you’ve always been there for me. Even when I was broken-hearted when Draco left me, you were there to comfort me. I guess, Ron, what I’m trying to say is….I love you too.”

The two then closed their eyes and shared a soft kiss. Breaking the kiss they looked at each other and then chuckled.

As Voldemort recovered from the agonizing pain in his chest he looked at the Elder Wand in his hand and then at the shield of which his Death Eaters had stopped firing at.

Time to see what this can do. he thought.

With an over-the-top yell he fired the wand and a plume of magic shot out and hit the shield. The shield rumbled and glowed bright blue as the beam ripped through it.

Voldemort was destroying the shield.

Everyone at Hogwarts looked to the sky in shock as the shield slowly deteriorated. Tonks and Lupin held each others hands and closed their eyes. Ginny, Neville, Colin, Lavender and Catalonia looked up and couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

Lucille McGillicuddy and Horace Slughorn looked up at the shield with Minerva McGonagall in the courtyard.

“Prepare yourselves.” Minerva said.

“Yes, ma’am.” Lucille said walking inside.

Horace turned to Twilight and Rarity who looked up in shock.

“You two! Get inside quick!” Horace ordered.

“Y-Yes sir.” Twilight said running in with Horace and Rarity.

Voldemort then cancelled the spell and pulled the wand back. He now suddenly felt very weak. What he did not notice was the Elder Wand was beginning to crack. Voldemort turned to his army.

“So….shall we begin?” Chrysalis asked

The shield now looked as if it was on fire. Granted it wasn’t.

At the bridge, Scabior and his Snatchers saw the shield disintegrate and Scabior swiped a piece of it away with his wand. To be sure the shield was really gone he slowly put his foot out on the grass.

Nothing happened. He smiled evilly while Neville began to back away slightly.

Scabior then screamed and he and his Snatchers charged at Neville who ran for his life. As they fired spells at him, Neville made sure all 297 Snatchers were on the bridge. Neville cast his own spell and it hit the explosives around the bridge. It then began exploding part by part.

The Snatchers were now running for their lives but the explosions caught up to them and they fall fell to their deaths.

Neville ran as fast as he’d ever run in his life but he slipped as the explosion caught up with him.

“Neville!” Ginny screamed.

Neville closed his eyes expecting pain or death but then opened them and looked up. Catalonia had taken his hand as he fell and she was hanging over the ledge.

“Thanks.” Neville said.

“Don’t thank me yet.” Catalonia said pulling Neville up.

“Might not get a chance to later, professor.” Neville said brushing himself off.

The ten remaining Snatchers retreated into the woods. Neville, Catalonia, Ginny, Colin and Lavender then turned their attention to the sounds of more charging.

“Quickly, children!” Catalonia ordered “Inside!”

The Death Eaters and Chrysalis with her Changelings charged all yelling as they did. Most of the Death Eaters turned into plumes of smoke so they could attack from the air. Likewise, the Changelings launched into the air though Chrysalis herself stayed on the ground. The Death Eaters on foot fired their wands or guns at the statues on the main bridge. The statues stood their ground while Fillius retreated back to Hogwarts to help his fellow professors.

As they Death Eaters closed in on the bridge, suddenly vines sprouted out of the ground and tangled some of the Death Eaters and they were thrown to the ground. But the rest kept charging

In a clash of stone and blood, the Death Eaters on foot met the statues. The first row were cut down easily but the other rows advanced and managed to break the statues with axes, sledgehammers, crowbars and bullets from their guns and began to cross the bridge.

The Death Eaters as plumes of smoke fired spells at the statues but they simply bounced of the statues and hit their casters killing them. The Changeling’s magic, however, blasted through an entire row. Whenever a statue got in her way Chrysalis zapped them with her magic.

Even with the statues biding time for the staff and students, most of the Death Eaters who were plumes of smoke managed to bombard the courtyard and the buildings around it. Everyone ran for cover. Minerva stood her ground waving people towards the entrance.

“Get inside!” she ordered.

One Death Eater in particular headed towards the south side and shattered the window of the tower. He then fired a spell at Remus as did Remus and the beams collided. Kingsley Shacklebolt saw the shadow of a Death Eater charging towards his side and fired a spell. The window shattered and the Death Eater froze for a few seconds before falling out the window screaming to his death.

On the Hogwarts staircases, students ran upstairs so they could help while the others went looking for their friends throughout the school. But mostly it was panic. As Harry ran up a step, the upstairs window shattered and a Changeling broke through hissing as it did.

Harry yelled a stun spell and the Changeling flew out of control and hit the wall breaking it’s neck. Ginny and Neville then ran up to Harry.

“Ginny!” Harry yelled embracing her.

He then turned to Neville who had a gash on the side of his head.

“Neville, you alright?” Harry asked.

“Never better!” Neville said “I feel like I could spit fire! You haven’t seen Luna have you?”

“Luna?” Harry asked.

“I’m mad for her!” Neville yelled walking off “I think it’s time I told her since we’ll both be dead by dawn!”

Harry then looked at Ginny who looked at him.

"You know that I might or might not survive, but just know that...I love you." Harry said.

Ginny then pulled Harry into a hard kiss. She then sighed as she broke it.

“I know.” she said.

Harry then ran off and Ginny headed upstairs.

Draco Malfoy apparated into the crowd of running students. He then grabbed two of his comrades who were a fat boy and a dark-skinned boy and dragged them with him.

Astoria Greengrass, however, turned and saw Draco walk away.

Where are you going? Astoria thought to herself.

She followed Draco at a safe distance.

The students and professors charged at the oncoming enemy and clashed in the courtyard. Spells were fired. Guns blasted away.

In the midst of this may lay, Cho Chang fired a spell at Chrysalis. Chrysalis dodged it and ran towards Cho. Cho fired three more spells but Chrysalis dodged them all, grabbed Cho and snapped her neck. Chrysalis panted with exhaustion. With no love to feed off of she was now very weak.

“Hey you!” said a voice.

Chrysalis turned to see Rainbow Dash with an ax in her hand. Chrysalis coughed a laugh.

“Well, well, well” she said “The pegasus with the broken wing. Can’t fly away now can you?”

“I don’t intend too.” Rainbow said.

“And why, pray tell, do you have that ax?” Chrysalis asked.

“Oh, no reason” Rainbow replied “JUST THIS!”

Rainbow then threw the ax at Chrysalis. It soared toward her head. Before Chrysalis could stopped it, the ax slashed her horn in half. The top half hit the ground and was crushed by a boy wearing glasses who was fighting Gilderoy Lockhart.

Chrysalis felt her head and looked at her hoof. Green blood was on it. She could no longer use her magic. She then turned to Rainbow Dash.

“You little BASTARD!!!!!!” she roared.

Chrysalis then football tackled Rainbow Dash and they went through a wall and Chrysalis began punching Rainbow Dash. She then grabbed Rainbow Dash’s tail with her teeth and threw her against a wall. Chrysalis then picked up the pike and lifted it to stab Rainbow Dash.

Suddenly a beam of magic slammed into Chrysalis killing her instantly  and throwing her against a wall. Rainbow then turned to see Draco Malfoy.

“Where is the Room of Requirement?” Draco demanded.

Rainbow Dash pointed towards the direction of the Room of Requirement. Draco nodded.

“Come on, guys!” he yelled as he ran off.

Draco’s two friends ran after him. Rainbow dash then got up and ran to look for Madeline. As Rainbow left, Astoria came out of hiding and followed after Draco.

Ron and Hermione walked down a hallway looking at the map Harry gave them.

“We’re never going to find him on this!” Ron said.

“Look! There he is!” Hermione said pointing to Harry’s name.

“Right there?” Ron asked.

Harry’s name then suddenly vanished.

“He was there.” Hermione said “I saw it.”

“Maybe he’s gone to the Room of Requirement.” Ron said “You said yourself it doesn’t show up on the map.”

“That’s right, I did say that.” Hermione said.

“Well come on, let’s go!” Ron said running off.

Hermione stood in her place for a few moments.

“That was brilliant.” she said to herself before running after Ron.
