Equestrian Spartan

Everyone except Pinkie Pie looks at Unit 1 with shock. Pinkie says, “Yay, execution! What’s an execution? ” Twilight whispers into Pinkie’s ear, she gasps and says, “Why would anypony want that?” Unit 1 answers, “It is the right punishment for what I have done.” Applejack asks, “For savin’ us?” Unit 1 says, “No, for what I did back on the planet. I took most of your lives and I took the rest of you as war prisoners even though you were innocent. I should have known.” Fluttershy says, “It’s alright you didn’t…” Unit 1 interrupts, “That doesn’t excuse my actions in that town.” Rainbow Dash says, “We weren’t really there so, we don’t even… what… that’s weird I remember the picnic and the attack.”

Crazy D says on the speakers, “You remember because I wanted you to. I have the memories of the clones into your heads even though their lives were short.” Twilight asks, “Why would you do that?” Crazy D says, “Because I wanted you to remember him. Oh and to let you know, the updates on Mad Horse are in the radar room. Good bye!” Luna and Celestia say in shock, “Mad Horse?!”  Unit 1 says, “Hey, one criminal at time, here.”

Celestia says, “I’ll talk with my sister to decide your fate Ric…” Unit1 interrupts, “Call me, Unit 1. That’s the name I want to die with.”

While Celestia and Luna whisper to each other, Unit 1 prepares himself for his execution by placing his helmet on the table and getting on his knees to make it easier for his executioner.

After a few minutes, the royal huddle is broken up. Celestia looks at Unit 1and says, “Unit 1, our judgment is not guilty. You will not be executed.” Unit 1 asks, “Does this count as community service, then?” Celestia pauses for a moment and then says, “Yes, community service against Mad Horse.” Unit 1 says, “I have charges of murder, kidnapping,  attempted murder,  assassination and your idea of a punishment on these charges is community service? I got a beat down for saving enemy civilians from my general’s personal guard.” The others gasp. “Aw man, I said too much.” Fluttershy goes up to him and says, “You poor thing.” Unit 1 says, “I don’t want your pity.”

Pinkie Pie says, “Somepony needs a hug!” Unit 1 says, “No, I don’t need a hug.” She hugs him. Unit 1 feels good inside, a feeling he hasn’t felt in about 8 years, but his guilty conscious made it a bitter sweet moment. He pushes her away and says, “Get away from me.”

Crazy D says on the speaker, “Hey, Private.” Unit 1 asks, “What the fuck do you want?” Crazy D says, “Mad Horse is planning an attack on one of the local farms. If you go now, you might stop them from destroying it and preventing ‘it’ from happening again.” Unit 1 looks up. “Yes, I read your file and I’ve got to say that was a terrible way to end your birth month. There is a Hornet in the cargo bay and some crates with weapons and ammo; you just have to find them. Then again, that’s if you want to stop the attackers. It’s your choice.” Applejack and Pinkie Pie worriedly ask, “Which farm?” Crazy D says, “Sweet Apple Acres, Mad Horse wants to teach the entire Apple family who’s in charge now, with his forces making sure that they get the message.”

Unit 1 gets up, picks up the Dex Diamond and puts on his helmet. He rushes to a random crate and breaks it.  SAWs (Squad Automatic Weapon) and ammo cases start coming out of the crate. He picks up one of the SAWs , puts it on his back and starts collecting ammo. Pinkie asks Unit 1, “What are you doing?” Unit 1 says, “Preparing for my community service.” Crazy D says, “I had a feeling that you would do that. I am sending the ship nearby to a good place to ambush them.

The ship descends to the planet. Applejack asks Crazy D while Unit 1 starts grabbing grenades, “Why are all the Apples at the Sweet Apple Acres? It isn’t the Apple Family Reunion.” Crazy D says, “They are there because of your funeral.” He laughs. “Your family is going to die because they think you’re dead. Ironic isn’t it.” Unit 1 says while loading his new Magnum, “Not today.”

Unit 1 looks around and finds the Hornet. Unit 1 climbs in the Hornet’s cockpit and Applejack tries to get in but Unit 1 stops her. He says, “Sorry but there’s only room for one and I’m the only one that knows how to drive.” He tries to push her off but she bites on to a part of the Hornet. She says with her mouth full, “I’m comin’ too and there’s nothin’ you can do about it.” Unit 1says, “I understand what you are doing…”  He successfully pushes off Applejack. “But this calls for a professional killer.” Unit 1 closes the cockpit.

The cargo ship stops, opens its doors and Unit 1 flies out. He quickly finds 4 trucks with machine guns and well-armed horses. Unit 1 turns the radio on and says, “I spotted possible targets. Crazy D is that them?”  Crazy D says, “Well, duh.” Unit 1 says, “I was just double checking.” He fires missiles at the trucks. A truck crashes while another blows up. The trucks starts firing at the Hornet and Infantry gets out of the trucks and start firing bullets and flares at the Hornet. The Hornet takes some damages, but Unit 1 was able to eliminate the rest of the forces with the machine guns.

Unit 1 lands the Hornet. Crazy D asks on the radio, “What are you doing?” Unit 1 says, “Making sure that they’re all dead.” Unit 1 sees one of the dead bodies and analyzes it, “Looks like a basic trooper…” He knocks on the armor.  “The armor appears to be made with iron and some form of… leather?” He looks at the weapons and says, “It looks like rebel gear with big triggers.”

A few survivors try sneak up on Unit 1. He detects them on radar, quickly grabs his magnum and kills them. Unit 1 counts the bodies, “1, 2, 3, 4…” A horse in a pyrotechnic suit horse with a modified hockey mask and a fire ax is about to strike Unit 1 but he turns and unloads his Magnum. The pyro falls on the ground and starts to craw towards Unit 1. Unit 1 fires his Magnum, but it clicks, so he stomps on his head instead.  He finishes counting, “5.”

Crazy D says on the radio, “Mad Horse is planning an attack by train and there’s a bridge that needs to be blown up.” Unit 1 says, “Send me the coordinates and I’ll knock down that bridge.” Unit 1 reloads his magnum and rushes to the Hornet. Before he gets in, Unit 1 sees an unusual shape in front of some glowing fire and behind it, some smoke. He points his Magnum at the figure. The wind blows away the smoke to reveal that nothing’s there. Unit 1 looks at his radar and sees only himself on it. He puts away the pistol and gets in the Hornet and flies off with an unexpected hijacker riding along.

Unit 1 sees the bridge and the train on a side of a mountain, switches machine guns with the missile launchers, and says, “There’s a delivery that won’t reach the station.” Before he fires, Unit 1 feels something blocking the fire buttons. He looks down and sees a lion paw and an eagle claw over the controls. A voice says, “Is something wrong?” Unit 1 tries to get its hands off the control but the creature strikes back. Unit 1 asks while fighting it, “Are you Mad Horse or one of his top soldiers?”  The creature says while punching Unit 1’s visor, “I’m Discord, god of…” Unit 1 kicks Discord between the legs. He continues in a high-pitched voice, “chooooaaaas.”  The glass of the Hornet’s cockpit breaks.

Some of Mad Horse’s minions notice the Hornet, they grab lock-on missile launchers and fire their missiles at the fighter.

Red lights start to flash and beeps are heard. Unit 1 pushes Discord out of the cockpit, grabs the controls and tries to fly out of the way. One of the missiles hits one of the Hornet engines and the Hornet starts flying out of control. Unit 1 tries to make the fighter crash on the train engine but he crashes into a train car filled with explosives instead and it explodes.  The explosion destroys some of the bridge and some of the other cars while some of the other cars fall in the hole of the destroyed bridge.  Unit 1 flies into the coal car. He peeks out of the coal and sees an engineer maintaining the engine. As the engineer is filling the engine with coal, Unit 1 throws a frag grenade in the belly of the engine. Unit 1 jumps out of the coal car, pulls out his SAW and goes in the nearby passenger car, guns a blazing.

The engine explodes, makes a hole and falls in it with the remaining part of the train. Unit 1 could feel the train moving towards its doom, so he concentrated more on running than killing, but still having his finger on the trigger.

When Unit 1 gets to the last car, a heavy armored trooper is standing in front of the way out. He runs out of ammo for the SAW, he puts it away, and tackles the heavily armored horse through the door. Both of them land on the tracks. The big horse says, “Thanks for saving my life.” Unit 1 says, “You shouldn’t be thanking me.” He pushes the horse off the edge of the tracks and throws a plasma grenade at him. The plasma grenade sticks to him. Unit 1 begins to count down with his hand, 3, 2, 1; he quickly opens his hand as he hears the explosion.

Unit 1 gets on the radio and says, “Crazy D, I’m done, pick me up.” Crazy D says, “Twilight just read the entire pilot manual of the supply ship and is coming to pick you up.” Unit 1 says, “Does she have previous experience flying a ship, before?” Crazy D says, “She flew a hot air balloon, a few times.”  Unit 1 asks, “What’s a hot air balloon?”  Crazy D says, “It was one of the very first ways of flying.”Unit 1 says while reloading, “I hope she doesn’t crash it.”

A voice says, “Leaving so soon.” Unit 1 says as he turns around, “Tell Twilight to hurry up.” Discord says, “Are you talking to yourself?”  Unit 1 points his SAW at him and says, “This is my primary language.” He unloads the clip at Discord. He says as Unit 1 reloads, “You didn’t even hit me.” Discord uses his powers to make a glass of water, he drinks it, and water comes out of random parts of his body like water was going through a broken hose.  Unit 1 switches the SAW with his Magnum and shoots Discord’s head off. The body catches it and puts it back on like nothing happened. Unit 1 says with a worried look on his face, “What the…?” Discord says, “I almost lost my head. Now, what were we doing? Oh yeah, we were fighting.” He disappears. Unit 1 quickly switches guns and looks around the area. A snake tail quickly wraps itself around the SAW and starts hitting Unit 1 with it. Discord says, “Why are you hitting yourself?” Discord keeps repeating the attack and the question while Unit 1 grabs his Magnum.  He fires the pistol at Discord. Discord flies off of Unit 1’s helmet and disappears.

A loud beep is heard nearby; Unit 1 looks up and sees the supply ship slowly descending. Unit 1 says on the radio, “Stay in the air, there is a failed science experiment running or flying loose here and he can’t die or at least not yet.” Twilight says, “Does anypony know how to use this?” Unit 1says, “I hear you loud and clear.” Pinkie Pie says, “That isn’t loud, silly.” She pulls out a megaphone. “This is loud!” Unit 1 says, “Good thing Firewalker always showed me his new bombs or that would have hurt my ears.” Discord is heard on the ship’s radio, “Well, what a surprise, all of you are alive.” Unit 1 says, “Girls and Spike, be careful, that thing is unpredictable.” Fluttershy says, “Don’t worry, he’s my friend.” Unit 1 says in shock, “Mr. Failed Mutant is your friend?” Fluttershy says, “His name is Discord.” Unit 1 says, “What’s next, you’re going to tell me that you’re friends with a wild bear.” Fluttershy says, “Harry is more civilized than you would think.” Unit 1 says under his breath, “Your file’s going to be a page turner.”  Discord says, “We can still hear you, metal man.” Crazy D says, “More bad guys coming by air.” Unit 1 uses his visor’s binoculars and spots a big wave of transporters, fighters, and helicopters. Unit 1 asks, “What is their target?” The cargo ship turns slightly and gets in view of Canterlot. Crazy D, Celestia, Luna, and Twilight say, “Canterlot.” Crazy D says, “Jinx, you 3 owe me a soda.” Unit 1 asks, “What’s Canterlot?” Twilight says, “That’s the capital of Equestria.”  Unit 1 says, “That place is going to need all the help it can get.”

The cargo ship goes down to Unit 1’s level, the bay doors open and some of the crates fall out. The bay doors quickly close and the main door opens to reveal Derpy on the door controls. Unit 1 quickly goes in the ship without saying a word.
