CMC Adventures: The Dance

          The morning went by fast for the crusaders, each of them got up, ate breakfast, said

there good mornings and good byes. They rushed off to there club house for the report on the success of their plans, Applebloom was the first to arrive, then Sweetie Belle and finally Scootaloo.

When they entered the clubhouse Applebloom was the first to speak up, "SOOOO!!! how'd both of your plans go? Because mine went perfectly, there was a small hiccup but it still turned out great," Applebloom looked at her friends with a big smile hoping for positive responses.

Scootaloo spoke up quickly, "Well mine went great though, there was a moment when I was worried I wouldn't be able to get the book that Dinky wanted but, I still got the book and Dinky said yes, to the dance and the movie date tonight!!" Scootaloo quickly finished her recap with a smile on her face, she turned to her white coated friend. "Sooo how about you Sweetie Belle, how'd your plan go?"

Sweetie Belle shyly responded, "Well... it went great!!!!" her voice picked up enthusiasm as she continued, "Pipsqueak was such a gentle colt we took a walk, he got me ice cream, we played at the park, he even walked me home, and he said yes to the dance and the movies tonight," Sweetie Belle had a sparkle in her eyes as she told her friends about how well her plan went.

"Sooo, that means that we all have a date for the movies tonight? That's great, guess the only thing left to do is decide on what movie we should all go see," Applebloom looked at her friends curiously,"You two have any ideas?"

Both Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle took a moment to think, Scootaloo was the first to get an idea,"I know, how about the new Daring Doo movie, you know Daring Doo and the Empire of the Solar Stone," Scootaloo looked at her friends wondering what they thought.

Sweetie Belle looked at her orange friend, "But I was hoping that we could go see that new romance movie you know the one between the pegasus and the unicorn..." before Sweetie Belle could continue her complaint Scootaloo interrupted.

"NO WAY!!!! I'm not going to see a romance movie not with Dinky as my date," Scootaloo made Sweetie Belle jump with her outburst. Before Sweetie Belle could respond Scootaloo spoke up again, "Besides if we go see an adventure movie you can snuggle up to Pipsqueak while he's watching it, wouldn't that be nice Sweetie Belle?" Scootaloo looked at Sweetie Belle hoping her reason could get her out of watching a romance movie.

After hearing Scootaloo's reason Sweetie Belle's face lit up "You're right! If we go and see and adventure movie I can snuggle up to Pip, and Dinky could snuggle up to you Scootaloo," Sweetie Belle looked at her friend while slightly smirking.

"Oh... yea I guess me and Dinky could snuggle up together." Scootaloo trailed off as she realized how nervous the little unicorn could make her.

Applebloom giggled at her friend as she struggled to finish her sentence, "So I take it we're all going to go see the Daring Doo movie then?" Applebloom looked at both of her friends happily.

They both looked back at Applebloom, Sweetie Belle was the first to respond,"Yeah we are, oh I forgot last night when I got home Rarity decided to give me a short lesson on first dates, then I let slip that it was a group date, which led to another lesson on group dates but, she told me to share the lesson with you girls sooo, here goes,"

Sweetie Belle began explaining what her sister had relayed to her the night before, the yellow and orange fillies got comfortable as they realized it wasn't going to be a short lesson.

Pipsqueak was knocking on the door to Rumble"s house, "Come on Rumble, I have something really cool to tell you!" Pipsqueak continued knocking until the door finally opened revealing a half awake Rumble.

"Mmmmm, what is it Pipsqueak? I was hoping to get some extra sleep before asking Thunderlane about first dates," Rumble was rubbing his eye when he was startled awake.

"YOU HAVE A DATE TOO!!!" Pipsqueaks excitement startled Rumble and quickly followed up, "Who's your date with, I've got a date with Sweetie Belle tonight!!!"

"Really? Well I've got a date with Applebloom tonight but, she mentioned that it would be with her and her friends, and that they were going to bring dates too." Rumble looked somewhat puzzled as he thought it over.

"Huh Sweetie Belle said the same thing, hmmm I guess that means we have the same group date tonight." Pipsqueak concluded rather quickly.

"Hmmm, then this should be fun but, I'd still like to ask Thunderlane how I should act on the date but, he's still asleep I'm not sure how, your knocking was really loud." Rumble let out a small yawn before continuing, "Well, why don't we go find Dinky until he wakes up we can ask him then."

Both of them nodded in agreement, Rumble walked out and closed the door behind him both of them turned to head to Dinky's house when they were surprised by there unicorn friend walking up to them.

"Uh hey guys, do you have any idea on how to act on a date? I was kind of embarrassed to ask my mommy and I couldn't find anything about it..." Dinky looked at her two friends hoping they could answer her inquires.

Pipsqueak was the first to speak up, "You have a date Dinky? Who's the lucky colt or filly?" Pipsqueak looked at his friend with wide eye's.

Dinky was surprised at the question, "Oh well, I've got a date with Scootaloo later today," Dinky looked at her two friends who had questioning looks on their face's, "What is something wrong with Scootaloo? Why do you two have those looks on your face's?" Dinky looked at her friends a little more worried than before.

Rumble quietly spoke up, "No it's nothing like that Dinky it's just that I have a date with Applebloom tonight and Pip has a date with Sweetie Belle, and they both said that they were going to the movies and that they were all going to bring date's so..."

Before Rumble could continue Dinky spoke up, "So that means that we all have the same group date tonight," Dinky looked at her friends and continued, "Well that certainly makes it easier but, I still want to know how I should act this still is my first date." Dinky looked at both of them and pouted hoping to get an answer.

"Well we're just as clueless as you, Rumble was going to ask Thunderlane how to act but, he's asleep we were gonna go and find you so we could do something fun until then," Pipsqueak looked at Dinky and gave a smile hoping his answer would suffice.

"That's a great idea! Well then lets go find something to do until he wakes up then," Dinky began walking away and shouted back at her friends, "You two coming!?"

The two colts began to follow their friend when Rumble whispered to Pipsqueak, "Hey Pip, do you think that we should warn Scootaloo about Dinky's killer pout?"

Pipsqueak looked at his friend and smiled,"No I think that Scootaloo will find out about it soon enough."

Rumble smiled back at Pipsqueak as they both continued to follow their unicorn friend to find something to do until Thunderlane woke up.

"And the final most important thing, Rarity said that we need to be well mannered," Sweetie Belle looked at her two friends who had both dosed off while Sweetie Belle was explaining, she slammed her hooves down on the table waking up the sleeping pegasus and earth pony.

"Ahhhhh!!! huh oh, come on Sweetie Belle wouldn't it be better if me, you, and Applebloom just acted like ourselves, I mean Dinky seems to like me so wouldn't it be better to be myself?" Scootaloo looked at her unicorn friend hoping to change her mind.

"What are you? Oh no no Rarity just wanted me to pass on what she taught me, I totally think we should be ourselves," Sweetie Belle quickly clarified.

"Whew that's a relief, I was really hoping I wouldn't have to be all fancy I mean, we're just going to the movies after all," Applebloom wiped a bit of sweat off of her forehead.

"Yea, I was a bit worried too, but it looks like we're all set for tonight we know the movie we're going to see, we know the time, we have are dates for this and the dance, all we have to do is pick them up at their houses, and meet up in front of the theater at 6:00," Scootaloo looked at her friends enthusiastically.

"Yep, all we gotta do is wait but, shouldn't we put on some kind of..." Sweetie Belle was interrupted.

"NO MAKE UP!!!!!" Scootaloo  shouted startling both of her friends.

"Okay fine, there's no need to shout like that," Sweetie Belle faked a pout as she looked at her friend.

Scootaloo looked away from her friends calming down from her small outburst.

"You and your friends got that Rumble? All you need to do is be your selves no need to be what you're not alright," Thunderlane spoke sternly to Rumble and his two friends trying to get his message across to them.

Rumble looked at his two friends for confirmation then turned to his older brother, "We got it Thunderlane, we're just hoping that tonight goes okay..."

Thunderlane smiled at his little brother, "Don't worry little bro, it'll go great you and your friends will have a great time tonight with your dates," Thunderlane smiled.

"Thanks bro", Rumble smiled back at his brother.

Pipsqueak spoke up,"Thank you for the advice Thunderlane we'll do our best tonight but, can we go have lunch now I'm starving and Dinky brought muffins."

The three young ponies looked at Thunderlane expectantly,"Alright you three get going but, any chance I can get one of those muffins to?"

"Sure thing," Dinky pulled out a muffin from her bag and hoofed it over to Thunderlane "There you go hope you enjoy it."

"Thanks, I'll see you later Rumble," Thunderlane waved as they left to enjoy there lunch.

The rest of the day flew by for everypony, the three crusaders and there respective dates met up at the movie theater each one of them slightly nervous.

"Alright everypony are we all set to see the new Daring Doo movie?" Applebloom looked at all five of them.

They all responded "Yeah!!!!"

"Alright then lets get going, we don't want to miss the beginning of the movie," Applebloom turned around with Rumble and lead everypony into the theater.
