CMC Adventures: The Dance

All six of the young ponies entered the movie theater and purchased their tickets, they were all excited

to be at the movies with the ponies they liked and their friends. They all stopped at the concessions area of the theater with Rumble, Pipsqueak, and Scootaloo turning towards the others.

"Alright, we'll go and get the snacks for all of us what do you girls want?" Politely asked Rumble turning to his friends and his date.

"Ah, I think we'll all be fine with some popcorn and a couple of sodas," responded Applebloom happily.

"Okay, we'll be right back then," Rumble led Pipsqueak and Scootaloo away towards the concessions.

"Oh, this is so exciting we're actually on a date with the ponies we like," Sweetie Belle giggled catching the attention of Applebloom and Dinky.

"Yea I actually can't believe Scootaloo actually asked me to come here," Dinky replied happily.

Applebloom turned to her friend "Yea, hey Sweetie Belle, I've been meaning to ask you, since we're all going to the dance what're we gonna do about clothes?"

"Oh don't worry about it, Scoots might not like it but, Rarity can take care of that, no problem," Sweetie Belle turned to her fellow unicorn, "And of course, you're welcome to come and get a dress from Rarity too Dinky."

"Oh thank you, I hadn't given that much thought," as Dinky finished their three dates returned with their snacks, "Oh, here let me help you with those Scoot," Dinky used her magic to relieve Scootaloo of the two sodas she was carrying,

"Whoa, that's cool thanks Dinky, I didn't know you could do that yet," Scootaloo was impressed by Dinky's small show of magic.

"Oh well, I learned it from the book you got me, I sort of dug right into it as soon as I got it," Dinky was slightly blushing at Scootaloo's compliment.

Applebloom spoke up "Alright you two love birds, let's get going don't want to miss the movie do we?" when she finished they all began walking to their assigned theater.

"Hey Pip, where's your soda?" asked the white unicorn to her date.

"Oh, they ran out of soda so I just got you one," explained Pipsqueak.

"Oh well, that's no fair we can just share the soda that you bought," Sweetie Belle closed the distance between her and Pip in order to help him balance the bag of popcorn on his back.

"Thanks Sweetie Belle," spoke Pipsqueak as they all headed to their respective theater rooms.

The movie had captivated the young fillies and colts watching Daring Doo try and return the Solar Stone to its original discovery location, each couple had cuddled up to their respective date.

Rumble had finally stopped being nervous and wrapped his wing around Applebloom who was cuddled up to him, when she saw Rumble's wing around her, she looked at him and giggled causing Rumble cheeks to turn pink as they returned their attention back to the movie.

Sweetie Belle hugged Pipsqueak close as they watched Pipsqueak slightly disheartened that Sweetie Belle couldn't cuddle up to him like the others did with their dates but, was happy that Sweetie Belle was hugging him so close. Both Sweetie Belle and Pipsqueak  went for a sip of the soda they were sharing when their muzzle's rubbed together both of them looked at one another and silently smiled, Sweetie Belle returned to hugging Pipsqueak as the movie went on.

Scootaloo was excited by the movie. Dinky was cuddling with Scootaloo both of them lost in what they were doing, Dinky could see that the adventure part of the movie was really captivating her date, she could only smile and remember to show Scootaloo the book version of Daring Doo one day.

Each couple continued to watch the movie each of them happy they were all there.

All six of the young ponies exited the theater talking about the movie.

"And then at the end when that ram got destroyed by the weird magical force was AWESOME!!! really weird but, AWESOME!!!" Scootaloo was excited by the movie as they all left.

"We know Scootaloo, we all saw the ending and yea, it was a little weird," agreed Applebloom "Well we should probably get going, I told Applejack that I'd be home after the movie,"

All of them agreed with Applebloom, "Okay I'll walk you home then Applebloom," Applebloom nodded at Rumble's offer.

"Right, then allow me to walk you home milady," offered Pipsqueak to Sweetie Belle, she could only respond by smiling and nodding yes.

"I'll walk you home okay Dinky," smiled Scootaloo, causing Dinky to smile.

Each of them smiled and waved goodbye and good night to one another as they parted ways.

As Applebloom got home she turned and hugged Rumble, "I had fun at the movies tonight Rumble thanks for going,"

"I had fun too Applebloom, I'll see at school on Monday okay,"

"Later Rumble," as Applebloom closed the door and turned around she saw her sister waiting for her."Uh, sorry I'm a little late sis.

Scootaloo got Dinky home safely,"I'm glad you said yes to the movie Dinky I really had fun seeing it with you,"

"I had fun too Scootaloo I'll see you in class alright," Dinky spoke with happiness in her voice.

Scootaloo smiled, "Cool I'll see you later then, night Dinky,"

"Good night Scootaloo," As Dinky turned around she saw some worried and angry eyes,"Oh hi mommy, sorry I was late."

"Sorry I got you home a bit late Sweetie Belle," Pipsqueak spoke apologetically.

"Oh it's no problem, I'll explain to Rarity why I was late, thanks for going to the movie with me Pip I had fun watching it with you," Sweetie Belle spoke happily.

"I had fun too, Ill see you on Monday at school okay Sweetie Belle," Pipsqueak looked at Sweetie Belle happily,

"Alright I'll see you at school Pip," Sweetie Belle closed the door and turned around only to be met with her sister.

"Oh hi Rarity, let me explain why I was late..." She was cut off.

"Don't give me that, young lady," Rarity looked down at her little sister,"Well... what are you waiting for? Tell me how it went, don't leave out anything," Sweetie Belle was thrown off by her sisters happiness,

"Okay lets go to the kitchen first though," as Sweetie Belle left for the kitchen a thought came to her mind "It's a good thing it's Saturday something tells me I won't get much sleep tonight," Sweetie Belle walked into the kitchen following her sister.
