“I wanted to check on how close to the opening is!” she replied.

“It’ll open tonight. I just need to finish a couple of adjustments and meet some of the staff I hired the day I came to Ponyville.” Dark said.

“I look forward to it. So I shall see you two tonight!” Mayor Mare said leaving the two to start working..

“Indeed. Let’s make sure everything is in order. Starting from drinks and food to TVs and other things.” Dark said who started checking on the drinks.

“Hey Dark! Why don’t I bring my drinks and add them into the collection we have here, so we won’t run out right away? Silver proposed.

“Think you can handle it alone? I want to stay here and work before tonight.”

“Yeah I can do it.” Hell, I’ll ask Twilight to help me since she’s the neighborhood magician. He thought.

Finding the library was easy to find in fact, knocking on the door and waiting a moment seeing the place turn red as a very angry Twilight busted down the door with spike running for his life.

“Dark, I am back!” Silver said noticing that Dark was lying on the couch asleep. “Silly mare must of tired herself out. Not that I blame her. I’d be tired too working all day like she did.”

Putting the bottles on the shelves was fun yet annoying. Twilight handled giving the bottles to at a time placing them on the racks. “I think we did good today Twilight. W e got the shelves packed.”

“Indeed. We did great!” She said noticing that Dark was finally waking up.

After Twilight had said bye, Silver and Dark put the sign up and started to give the tavern a much clean.

“So Dark. Tomorrow is opening day and I am excited!” Silver said as he swept the floor and mopped it.

“I told you so!” Silver said chuckling as he cleaned up the place before heading out the door with Dark Mint in tow.

Making it to the tavern in time with a giant scissors to cut the ribbon; Silver, Dark and Mayor Mare made it to the front of the building where a crowd was gathered around.

“Citizens of Ponyville! I want to say welcome to the new tavern! Without further ado, here is Dark Mint.” Tons of hooves clapped as she made it to the front.

“Thank you mayor! I want to say that it is a pleasure to announce that Night Sky tavern is now officially open for business! So come on in everypony.” The crowds came in as Silver and the rest of the staff became busy with the day.

Saying the place is packed is an understatement in itself. Not after ten minutes open, the place is filled to the brim.

”Argh! Why must the place be this packed. It’s ridiculous.”

“Order up!” Said the cook with Silver retrieving the breakfast for the customer who seemed all too familiar,

“Mr. Shinners, is that you?” Silver asked giving the plate to him.

“Yes it is. It’s good to see you my boy. How have you been?”

“I am great. I got a filly friend and a nice job so I can’t complain.”

“I need a drink Silver! Some moonshine, fast please!” He nodded getting to work then handed her two glasses of moonshine. “Thanks babe she said to him!”

The night dragged on until closing time where it was Dark, Silver and Twilight,

“I am glad today is over!” Dark exclaimed as Silver chuckled.
